Kairi nodded, though she kept a gallant eye on the pup Trile. She saw the unsure in his eyes. She then smiled and turned her gaze away and observed the other vargs in the clearing. Kairi padded forward and cocked her head. Silver blue eyes watching the pup Amaya. Her nose twitched inhaling the many scents of her surroundings and she caught the scent of the two pups. Nexus and Amaya. They did not smell of Ge rad and at this Kairi cocked her head and let out a bark. Though it was instinct to chase out vargs that were not of your pack Kairi was not that of a wolf to chase away pups and especially one that was injured. Instead she padded closer and scented the black pup, with violet hued eyes again. She was wounded but how Kairi was unsure. She turned to look at Lydair the healer for answers.
Curiosity drove Kai on. She wondered how these two pups, one injured and the other sitting there without a cause were doing in the middle of Ge rad. But her questions were answered by Lydair and Kai nodded, "oh.." she said "Nexus" she then looked to the black femme pup, who was still nameless. She nodded and let a small smile wash over her lips as she was introduced. Kai's eyes suddenly widened when she watched amaya try to get up but cringe in pain. Kai grimaced for he pup, but she was no healer and Lydair was the only one who could help her.
Suddenly though rustles were heard through the bracken. Kairi growled, hackles rose but eased when the scent of fellow ge rad trotted in. She nodded to Uskiya though she had not met the femme yet. But another varg had captured Kairi's attention. She looked to see her step brother Shako. She gave him a bark as a greeting, her tail wagged once and then twitched as she sat on her haunches and then eventually lay down on her side.

Nexus' eyes were darting. THis was not a good situation. He was surrounded by unknown wolves, who were possibly hostile. He was intimidated, but didn't let it show. He watched the other male, and in a sudden spurt of friendlyness, he walked over towards him. "Trile, correct? How long have you lived here?" he asked, curious all of a sudden. It was mostly a nervous reaction to being surrounded. He needed to talk to someone, and this cub was the only one who seemed, well, least mean.
He looked at the ebony fae, and smiled. "No need to thank me. I did nothing. She's the healer."

Amaya shifted uneasily as more wolves came. Uncomforted by the many eyes that probed her, she wanted to retreat from it all but simply stood in the slight circle that was beginning to form around them. Lydair suddenly asked for her name, the ebony she wolf stared slightly at the elder, her violet hues growing a little wide. But forcfully she spoke her tongue carefully carving each letter. "My name..." She hesitated as another came, but then finished her sentence as if the words pained her. "Is Amaya."
It was her own name that brought back so many memories that she attempted to lock away in her mind. The meaning of it also haunted her in a strange sort of way, though it only meant 'night's rain', nothing more. Or was there? Amaya found herself taking a step back for some reason. Slightly bumping into Nexus. Caught by surprise she almost turned around with a snarl, but refrained from doing so.
The voices of the others made her feel slightly dizzy. Once more she heard Lydair speak, not really to her. But with a sudden burst of anger masking her panic she cried out: "Attacked by something! HA!" She snorted. "This was not done by some animal but..." Her voice faded, feeling slightly embarrassed and even more fear that she had almost let out one of her deepest and darkest secrets. Now the stranger's eyes did bore into her. Or at least it felt like it.

Lydair bit back a snarl, and her lip curled upwards as Amaya's sudden voice burned in her ears. She whirled around and padded towards the violet-orbed cub, head cocked. "Who hurt you, Amaya?" Lydair spoke quickly- if it was a Varg within Transylvania, then not only Amaya and Nexus, but Trile, Kop, Lycaon and Shayla could also be in danger. she inspected Amaya's side, nares flaring as she gently licked the cobwebs. They ahd tunred brittle and fell from the cub's side; Lydair jerked her head up, eyes scanning the clearing and finally coming to rest on Trile- kairi's words had obviosuly made him restless, and she would need help. "Trile, would you like to help me?" she barked, voice soft as her cyan orbs searched his for the answer.
Lydair turned back to Amaya with a sad frown. "I'm afraid you need to stay still, Amaya. Your wound will re-open if you don't, and then I'll never get you fixed." she muttered, flicking her plumed tassle. "Do not worry, we are not here to harm you...but as the Healer, I need you to stay still. Please."Lydair side-stepped impateintly and turned back to Trile, awaiting his answer.

Uskiya smiled as Kairi gave her a small nod, slowly Uskiya had begun to find that not all vargs wanted to kill her if she spoke a single word. Her attention faded back to the situation that had everyones attention. "I am fine Lydair, but it appears that you are very busy here." She smiled. From what she could figure out the cub that Lydair was tending to had been hurt, but it was not known by whom, or at least the varg wouldn't say. The varg also went by the name of Amaya. Some one Uskiya had not known and she wondered if Amaya was of Ge-rad. Uskiya looked to the pup Lydair called Trile, something tugged at the fae's mind and she somewhat remembered Trile as being a pup of Ge-rad. The other pup Kairi called Nexus didn't appear to be of Ge-rad either, or atleast to Uskiya's knowledge. Shako was of Ge-rad, Uskiya had met him the first day, although she had not spoken to him. It appeared that Kairi knew Shako, though Uskiya didn't know how. Her attention came back to rest on the pup called Nexus, he didn't look comfortable in this situation and Uskiya didn't blame him. Though he appeared to be speaking to Trile well enough. Uskiya was curious as to what had happened, but things appeared to be going to fast for her to ask. Lydair appeared to be in a hurr to do something and she asked for Trile's help. Perhaps more herbs were needed to help Amaya. The fae wondered what had hurt the pup, perhaps it was still in the territory, if it was then would the pack face a danger? Uskiya looked to Amaya, she padded alittle closer to the pup, but still didn't crowd her, she didn't want to make her feel boxed in. Uskiya wanted to speak to the pup but felt it wasn't quite the moment. Instead she sidestepped and sat down where she could see what was going on.

Lydair watched Uskiya momentarily; the female was quiet and soft-spoken, and obviously meant no harm to the cub. A small whisper prickled in her mind and she coked her ehad, turnigng round to face the gray-pelted Uskiya. "You are our nurse, are you not?" she barekd, voice sweet and soft. Her sapphire eyes glittered as she padded slowly towards Uskiya; she knew her to be Cal's mate, the brown male she had met at the waterfall. Then, however, he had been much thinner and his health seemed to be failing- Lydair was glad he was back on his feet, but she still wondered what had caused his depression. A naturally sociable and caring Varg, Lydair disliked seeing her packmates or cubs hurt or in danger. Her job as healer helped keep her morale high and in good spirits; she would feel useless otherwise, although she knew that her long legs and swift paws could carry her anywhere, and she was able to take down most any prey. Slender and lithe, it was quite obvious she was no pure wolf, but she was far from ashamed of her father, who was a pure husky. He had loved her mother very much, and that was all that mattered to the hybrid femme with odd coat.
She growled softly, regaining Trile's attention, and grinend to the cub. "Well? If you won't go, I'll have to get someone else. Perhaps Uskiya would like to come, or Nexus." she would have enjoyed the company of the hunter-cub, and since she had found Amaya wounded, along with several other cubs, her security had fallen. She knew that Trile and his siblings were in a deep danger of old Ge-Rad memebrs, from when Bryrpaw had been leader, and from Sarnes and Balkar. Her blue and white tail flicked and curled around her before swinging into its normal arc over the small of her back.

Kairi lay there still and cocked her head every so often as she took in the words and conversation of life around her. She then turned to watch a golden leaf fall fro ma vast and tall tree. She gave a heavy sigh and shook out her fur coat. Kairi was born in the lands of Ge rad, during the ripe season of autumn. Her first time out of the den she marveled at the wondrous colors that dotted the trees and canopy of their great forest.
Kairi lay her head on her paws and watched as Lydair busied about. Kairi then lifted her head and let out a yawn. "I'll come then" she replied casually. She was quite bored and watching the leaves fall was not the action packed topping one would have preferred. Though she couldn't help but notice that the healer was still wary of her and that she had not mention for her help what so ever.
At this Kai shrugged and layed back down on her side, assaulted by the boredom that plagued her.

[glow=black,2,3] Shakó nodded his head after Uskiya had spoke, and turned his full attention to Lydair's words. His gold eyes seemed to sparkle at her, just like hers had done. "So, the gray pup is Nexus," he said outloud, more to himself, as he tore his gaze to the young pup.
But his gold eyes then caught sight of the crimson wolf, Kairi. He, too wag his tail, and yipped to her, his eyes showing an expression of playfulness. Kairi was his adobted sister, blood of Bryrpaw. When Shakó was a Kerl, Kairi found him and invited him into the pack. Here, he was adopted by the Dragga, Bryrpaw, making him Shako's father. Kairi and Shako were then made brother and sister. Shakó watched as his sister playfully fell onto her side, and Shako pawed the air above her, giving another joyful yip. He was glad that she too stayed in Ge-Rad.
The male warrior's attention was then turned to Nexus, who had spoken, but seemed intimidated by the rest of the pack. The frightened pup then turned his gaze to trile, who was more Nexus's size, and a cub himself.
then it was the ebony's cub's turn to speak, as she anounced her name. Her violet orbs seemed widened with fright, then embarrasment. She said indeed the damage wasn't done by any animal, but failed to speak what of.
Lydiar spoke once more, her expression of anger and distaste. Whatever Amaya said, it angered the odd-coated Varg deeply. She told Amaya to stay put, and her thought seemed to be deep, among with Uskiya.
Lydiar spoke up after Uskiya, and asked who would give Lydiar company. "If no one wants to go, I will," Shakó piped up. Worried expressions on some of the Vargs' face gave him the thought that they weren't comfortable, if something was out their hurting cubs. The young Warrior knew that if anything was trying to kill cubs around his lands, Shakó would have the last word. At that very thought, his hackles prikled, he wanted to lay jaws on anyone who would harm such a defensless creature. [/glow] //Sorry, Trile, just saw your post. I guess I was typing when you posted, and when I hit preview, the first page is already shone. Don't worry, mine's just a reaction to everyone else.//

"Not so busy as I appear." Lydair barked with a gentle laugh, throwing a glance to Amaya. She watched as Uskiya appraoched the wounded, raven-furred cub, azure orbs glistening as she wondered how Uskiya would react to the horrid wound on the cub's side. She sighed, the air blew through her lips in a short puff before she turned around, moderatley surprised at Kairi's words. She hesitated, casting a look over her shoulder at Amaya, then shrugged and grinned, tail curling. "I'd enjoy your company, Kairi." her voice was soft and wispy. As she caught the amber gaze Shako gave her she looked back, drawn to the white male, but as he looked away she ducked her head, feeling her fur grow warm and glad no other Vargs could see it. As his orbs returned to her, she smiled at the male. One ear twitched back; the other curled forward to catch his voice and she grinned, tail wagging excitedly as he, too, offered his comapny. "Better than I thought- I get both warriors by my side today." She thought to look to Kairi, but it was nearly impossible for the hybrid to tear her gaze from the warrior.
Inaudibly sighing, her orbs flashed and she turned aroudn to face Trile. "And you, hunter?" She joked, chuckling. Her cyan eyes focused on the cream pup. "Would you enjoy the walk?" Lydair straightened and trotted towards Shako and Kairi; she sat down beside the male, grinning to Trile. her orbs switched quickly to Uskiya with a smile; her maw parted. "Would you mind staying here with Nexus and Amaya? If one was attacked, there's no telling..." (((Ah! Me as well! Mien si just rambling, i promise I won't leave without you, trile!)))
