The sudden appearance of her midnight Dragga, Bristol, startled Renn. She had not really exchanged names with him, but had had the oppotunity to meet him when he accepted the silver faemme, Silent Hunter, into the Pack as an auxilary Member. He did not know it, but Renn was severely annoyed with Bristol for accepting Silent, as her jealousy of Drathlic's 'close' relationship with Silent, had grown. Listening to the jet-black Alpha's words, Renn felt her heart side with Kop and her head with Bristol, the two sides in conflict. Her core loyalty would always be to List, but she felt sympathy for Kop and his attempts to impress her. Taken him down a peg or two, Renn thought to herself as the grizzled intruder instantly dropped his tail and spoke humble words of apology.
Her auds flattened against her skull as she heard Gryffin's own words of contempt and anger flew like arrow's through the air, straight at Kop. It was strange to see Gryffin in such a mood. Renn had not known the Beta long, but she had liked the tri-hued faemme on sight and her last comment on parentage had chilled Renn to the bone. Unknowing of Renn's shattered memory, Gryffin's words had struck the golden adolescent's blind spot. Her thoughts directed towards the most recent memory, of her entire family lying in a hollow, her parents drowned and her brother eaten alive, and Renn shivered as she failed to move away from the memory before she saw the white she-cub with flashing traffic-light-red orbs. Resigning herself, Renn sat down beside her Beta Faemme, but kept her emerald gaze on Kop's grizzled form, sympathy burning in her eyes, her tail moving very very s-l-o-w-l-y from side to side. "Gryffin, please do not be too hard on him," Renn whispered in the tri-hued Beta's ear, startling herself at her recklessness. "From what I can tell, Kop has been through something bad."
