((I'm the newest full Member of List, and perhaps it would be better if I waited for higher ranking Vargs to post first. . .but I couldn't wait! ))
Renn was asleep, stretched out next to the warm wall of the cave, a paw elegantly twitching as her dreams took control. Every now and then a soft sound would escape from her maw, a small echo thoughout the cave. Curled up next to Drathlic, the golden faemme's dreams turned. She was chasing her hare, hounding it through the rugged terrain of list, up and down mountains. Springing forward in a glorious leap, Renn's ivory fangs sank into the hare's warm body, the blood gushing into her mouth, staining her teeth. Raising her head, the golden faemme howled her melody to the sky, feeling the Lera's warm body convulse at her paws, then lay still. Growling happily, Renn started to eat, tearing at the hare, filling herself, soothing the hunger that had gnawed at her belly for so long, driven her even to the lands of Ge-Rad, though purely by mistake. A sharp bark pierced the quiet that had surrounded her. It was Gryffin's voice, but it was in pain, though joy also seeped through it. The blood-scent of the Lera at Renn's paws changed, and it was Gryffin's blood that filled the air.
Lifting her honey-coloured head, Renn woke from the strange dream. Why had Gryffin's blood filled the air? Was it another Nightmare, distorted and twisted for some reason? Though she had not been in the Pack for long, Renn had felt a strong bond grow between her and the Beta faemme, unlikely, but one that filled Renn with joy. She was worried, for Gryffin was one of her greatest friend among the Pack and if something had or would happen to her, it would be a bitter blow to Renn's heart.
Not bothering to wake Drathlic from his slumber, Renn stood up and stretched, her stunning golden features showing themselves off. Shaking her head a few times to clear it, Renn padded forward, pausing at the entrance of the cave for a few moments, before setting off, her speed high. Loping through List terra, Renn traced Gryffin's scent, determined to reach her tri-hued friend. Never before had she felt such a worry, it distracted her, making her snag her claws on jutted out rocks, slowing her mind so that when she brushed a branch it whipped back, slapping her in the face. But Renn kept on, ignoring the searing pain in her right eye. Her vision was cloudy now, swimming round and round as the pain in her eye increased, partially blinding the faemme.
It took a few hours for Renn to reach the lakeside den. Standing a short distance away were her Drappa, Fiory, and her Beta Mann, Sudak. Slowing down, Renn allowed her hackles to stand on end as she scented Gryffin's scent, acompanied by blood and another scent, cub-scent. Padding forward to Fiory and Sudak, Renn whined quietly to herself and bowed her head to the two wolves. Maple gaze wandering to Sudak, Renn remebered how heatedly the ivory Varg had punished Kop, how he had planted a small seed of fear in Renn's heart. She would always slightly fear Sudak, trusting him with her life, but making her wary when she was arround him. Looking to Fiory, Renn growled a wordless greeting and sat down, her tail wagging thrice as she felt glad to meet her kind Drappa. "Greetings Fiory, Sudak. I scented Gryffin's scent and came straight here. What is happening?" Renn was a faemme, but she had no idea of what Gryffin was going through, and what Fiory herself had gone through, for her inexperienced mind could not hold the concept of giving birth.
((Congrats Gryffina dn Sudak!))

((Sorry I'm late guys. But you know the score..))
For several moons now, not that the small form of a varg pup knew what a moon was for that matter, the young son of faemme who carried the litter had swayed lifelessly back and forth within the warm secutiry of her womb. Only recently had he began to feel things. Feel the vibrating sounds of life outside where he hung. It had excited him, intreiged him. And with a hidden will within his tiny beating heart he began to move, move as far as his cord would allow. Right up to the wall of his warm enclosure he had drifted - creating a small kick like feeling from the outside that would send thrilling emotions through the mother and father who made him. Of course - he didn't know this.
But now...now he could feel another change. One that he wasn't so keen on exploring. All the warmth and moisture that surrounded his tiny form drifted slowly away from him and he was left in a dark, damp and cold cave with the pressence of only unfamilair objects he was sure he'd felt throughout his time within the warmth - but yet had taken little notice of them in his self important world. The sudden feeling of pressure on him sent the cub into a state of total fright. He remained stock still - unable to move through the pulsating walls - as he was pushed further and further into a cold new world. On exiting...whatever it was he had grown inside...his only hope of warmth left was stripped away from him by the gentle and carressing tongue of his tri-hued mother.
Air filled his lungs and the pup let out a terrific shriek as it felt numbly freezing. Darkness still caressed his clsoed eyes and he could hear nothing but feel everything. Gentle voices quivered his body and the distant warmth of a body called to him. Stumbling around without sight or any idea of where he was going, the young cub, soon to be named Arias, crawled helplessly to his mother's legs before being gently picked up and placed securily by her exposed belly. Further heat drew him in and the scent of something strange caught his newly tuned nasal. Finding the teat of his mother, Arias clung hold tight with the only thing he thought he could use - his mouth. Yet on breathing in through this newly discovered orophus, he found that sweet warmth came from this strange protruding skin and he contiued to gulp down the milk with all the strength he had left from his great ordeal - unaware that he was the first born in the Beta's litter of three (i'm guessing it's three, please correct me if i'm wrong).

Through the youth's restless sleep, a stirring awoke him with a start and his azure hues split open to the pale moonlight that filtered through the den's entrance, mildly blinding him for a second. Rolling onto his front and pawing his face sleepily, his aud perked and he gazed out faintly to the entrance where another had jsut left. Turning behind him he saw the empty space where Renn had been lying only seconds before. Growling lightly he peered around him and saw that only Bristol and Novex remained within the sleeping chamber. Cocking his head he grunted before getting up and nudging Novex lightly to awaken him. Something clearly had happened and if he was going to leave to investigate, he knew the mottled black youth would be highly annoyed if he too missed out on it.
After rousing Novex from sleep, Drathlic turned quickly and took a gentle bound out of the den before halting and lifting his muzzle to the skies, scenting the air carefully before turning quickly in the direction Renn had fled and began to follow her trail, with it came the extremely faint scent of blood. Curiosity, and still disgust for the scent of the life giving liquid, caused Drathlic's speed to increase and for his still tired limbs to cycle relentlessly beneath his growing frame.
Pushing his way through thick brush and shrubbery, it took the ruddy male some time to break through from the forest's vegetation and undergrowth to enter on the scene of a large exapnse of water he had never discovered in his time through List. Taking a moment to gape in the beauty of the Crimson Lake, Drathlic's eyes sored skywards to watch the array of stars across the midnight abyss. His jaw dropped whilst he stared, momentarilly forgetting why he had left the warm den to follow Renn. But the faitn sound of voices quickly caught hold of his attention again and he turned quickly from the skies to the opposite end of the Lake where, he saw faintly, a small gathering of vargs had grouped.
Growling lightly in curiosity, Drathlic picked up his pace again and bounded towards them, skidding to a halt on the pebbles and bowing respectfully to Fiory and turning his head to Renn, frowning slightly as to why she had not awakened him as he had done for Novex. But then the scent of blood came to him again - this time stronger- and his muzzle led him to the sight of a hollow in the bank where, beneath the earth, Gryffin lay with two squirming cubs at her belly. Drathlic's muzzle dropped at the sight as he peered down the den's tunnel and his tassel began to wag furiously as he beamed at the proud Beta's and new parents of List. "Oh wow, congratulations Gryffin, Sudak!" he yipped softly before taking a tender step back and allowing a space for other's to see- not wanting to get in teh way of matters incase more was still to come.
((Congrats guys - and sorry if this post is a tad inapropriate...but I never had time to catch up properly >.< ))

By dawn Gryffin's eyelids had long fluttered open and by her side lay three newborns. Gryffin smiled lovingly and lowered her muzzle toward the three whelps. She licked them each affectionately and nuzzled them, snuggling into them closer for protection and for warmth. Gryffin sighed, her auburn tail swishing slowly behind her in happy bliss.
Just then Gryffin's ears shot up when she heard sound from the outside. The tri coloured beta growled, hackles raised with every noise she heard outside. Before when she had been birthing she had ignored her mate when he had called for her.
Gryffin whined quietly and looked up now, her ears alert as her emerald orbs that glowed brightly in the dark searched the movements outside. Lifting her nostrils she could scent the vargs just outside her whelping den. Though the stench of blood was still faint inside the den, Gryffin hoped that it would soon fade away.
Meanwhile she tried to make out who it was that stood by the den's entrance. Of course she could see Sudak. Gryffin then turned her eyes to a large ebon femmora. She grinned Fiory then she could see the small form of Renn and the beta's tail began to wag. She couldn't see him but she could hear the voice of Drathlic.
The tri hued femme looked down at the now sleeping pups and smiled. There were two manns and one fae. Gryffin grinned and licked them once more. she had not said anything since she had melted into the shadows of the den. Her eyes blinked slowly and she decided to get up. Her paws shifting carefully a she backed up and got onto all four paws. The pups were still sleeping peacefully as Gryffin stepped back and nuzzled them. Smiling she then turned and emerged from the whelping den. Her eyes shut tight as the bright light struck her gaze and she shook it away. Squinting she skipped over to Sudak, though she was still very much tired. Then again Gryffin had also been filled with much energy.
Tail wagging and pink tongue hanging from the side of her mouth Gryffin nuzzled Sudak and tugged on his ears. "Sudak" she said and paused, "I suppose I could give you my permission to see the pups now" Gryffin said with a goofy grin as she turned on her heels and nuzzled Fiory and bowed to her drappa. "You may come as well Aunt Fiory"
Gryffin then barked to Renn and Drathlic, "You two, but do take turns, I'm afraid the den is not large enough to fit so many" Gryffin addressed and with that the young mother turned around and melted into the darkness of the den once more.

Forgetting to ask Drathlic if he should like to go first, Renn bounded forward, her golden pelt darkneing as she entered the shadowy cave. Waiting for her eyes to adjust, Renn gazed at the blacker-than-black shadow of Gryffin, her belly no longer swollen, merely a little saggy as it tried to cope with the swelling dissapearing so suddenly. As her orbs changed from emerald to yellowish green, Renn picked out the forms of three cubs, each one a mere bundle of fur.
Padding forward to stand next to Gryffin, Renn could not help but beam at the three. Whining slightly, Renn felt her own mind begin to fantasize about cubs of her own, with the Pack surrounding her. Golden banner wagging madly, the golden shades faemme whispered, her voice milky with joy, "Congratulations, Gryffin, they are three beautiful cubs. I shall protect them with my life."

Sudak had stood guard at the den entrance throughout the clear crystine night. He turned down Fiory's invitation for a hunt for his mate for he had felt very nervous that if he had left the den something would happen. He wouldn't be able to forgive himself if something did happen. With the rise of Fenris' orb however, the two would head off in search of the richest Lera for Gryffin. Sudak had dozed off to awake to noise of the entrance of Renn, the one cub whome Sudak had not properly been introduced and also close behind was Drathlic. Sudak backed towards the den entrance and lay with his back to the den as to keep a vigilant eye on all the varg that now surrounded the lakeside. With the new beginning of a day Sudak heard a rustle in the den. He spun around just in time to see Gryffin emerging from her dark whelping hideaway. The smell of blood was still on her pelt as she nuzzled him. He could care less however. She seemed to perfectly fine and from the look on her face there was more joy brought to the List pack this chilled morning. With the permission of his mate he followed close after her to welcome his newborn sons and daughters to the world. Renn had dashed in front of Sudak and he was quick to jump back in front. He hadn't become aqcuainted with her and he wasn't about to let a strange varg to him rush at the future of himself his mate and List. With a quick growl and a quick show of his fangs Sudak resumed his position next to his mate and peered down to the bundles of joy that lay in the bed which Gryffin had elegantly made moons before.
Looking back at Gryffin Sudak whispered as if he were trying to not wake up his children.
"What are they Gryff. The biggest is a Dragga, of that I am sure, but what of the others?"
A smile was clearly evident upon his maw now as he stared back into the stary emeralds of his mate. His senses still watching the others as they surveyed what would soon occupy their days and nights for moons to come. The one varg Renn, Sudak was dominantly surveiling. They would more than certainly become great friends as Sudak was not one to make many enemies, especially within his own pack but at this point he didn't know her at all, and this made him anxious.

Seeing the proud look on Gryffin's muzzle as she came out from the darkness, Drathlic couldn't help but wag his tail extactically and yipped in a rather gleeful manner as she offered the surounding vargs all permission to view her new litter, the new life of List. As he was about to pad on forward, he stopped quickly as Renn bolted before any varg and watched her run down the den entrance, swiftly followed by Sudak who had a less than amused expression on his own facade. Holding back for a few moments, allowing the two who were already inside the narrow entranced den, he looked up to Fiory with a wide grin on his muzzle as his high held tail swayed back and forth cheerfully. "This is so exciting ma'am, isn't it?" he growled with a yip to his tone before glancing back to the den, hoping that in a moments time there would be enough space for him to enter and see the newly borns.

((Sorry it's taken me this long to post, but better late than never. Here's my post))
For as long as she could remember she had been safe, protected by the surrounding warmth that made up her world. Of course she was never alone, for in the beginning no one is ever truly alone regardless of what they might think or feel, and she could always feel her brother and sister moving about on either side of her like constant companions. She was well fed and healthy, the thin cord on her belly supplying her with all the food and moisture she ever needed. Life was peaceful within her world and she was content to remain this way, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of her provider’s movements. However that had been before. Her world had taken a dramatic turn when her cord has snapped driving her into a mad panic, knowing that without the thin organic line to feed and nourish her that she would surely die. Even more frightening, she felt her siblings moving further and further away from her until she found that she could no longer sense them. Eternities past before she too felt herself moving causing her to panic as she was pushed farther and farther away from the safety of the only home that she had ever known, completely unaware of what was taking place around her. She began thrashing about wildly until she began to tire and she found herself with no strength left to struggle, with a pang in her heart that could only be described as regret she submitted herself to her fate. This was the end. The next thing the pup knew she felt a rush of cold as she hit the ground having been expelled from her mother’s womb and into a strange new world, the only remnants of the world she had been exiled from encased the pup’s entire body in the form of a small sack of water. However what had once been a safe haven had become a trap and the pup found herself struggling desperately for her life again, this time trying to free herself from the confines of her sac. Help came in the form of what she would soon learn to be her mother, who carefully bit into the thin membrane surround her daughter and carefully tore it away before tenderly stroking her tiny form. The pup let out a terrified squeak as a rush of cold air greeted her and she took her first terrified breath of the precious life giving air, after a moment she stopped and merely laid there, becoming perfectly still as she allowed everything that she had just experienced to sink into her tiny mind. She found comfort in her mothers soft, warm tongue caressing her body gently and this prompted the pup to begin making her way towards her mothers prone form, desperate for her warmth and protection. In no time at all she found herself snuggled against the tri-colored femme’s side suckling greedily, a feeling of warmth and protection coursing through her as she felt her brother and sister on either side of her. She had found them and once again they were all together, the pup allowed herself to relax and focused her attention on what mattered most on the moment. Gulping down her mothers milk with what little strength she had left, the pup continued drinking until she found that she had reached her fill and could drink no more. Pressing herself firmly against her mothers side the pup curled her tiny form into a tight ball and finally drifted off to sleep, feeling content and safe.

The ivory varg had slipped out of sight of the other varg that surrounded the den. He motioned torwards the ebon Drappa and he dashed through the brush torwards where he had spotted many Herla earlier during his daily rounds. Soon upon where he had left them Sudak bounded in stride with his Drappa to flank that of the weakest of the herd. With a great leap and determination burning within his eyes Sudak clenched deep into the throat of the herla to bring it holting to a sudden stop and dropped it to it's knees. Such bloodlust was surging through him, however not only bloodlust had taken over but that of fatherly instinct. As he felt the blood surging in his mouth he tightened his grip till no pulse remained in the lera at the mercy of his jaws. Without thought of himself he ripped the herla to pieces that he could easily manage to swiftly bring back to his certainly exhausted mate, in turn providing what his newborn cubs so dearly quenched for and stuggled for to survive, the nutrient rich milk that Gryffin so willing provided as their mother.
With the blood dripping meat in his jaws Sudak gave a quick look to Fiory then lept off into the forest just as quickly as he had arrived near the herd. Arriving back at the lakeside whelping den Sudak quickly pushed his way through the gathering of varg of List to arrive swiftly at his mate's side. Laying the meat at her paws he then glanced down to catch the sight of his son and daugthers sleeping soundly by the warmth of their mother. His face filled with joy and excitement he gave each of them a quick lick and nuzzle then rose his head to give the same to Gryffin, however her nuzzle was much more that of a mate's filled with love that only they could share.
" Enjoy the meat my love, you'll need every ounce to keep our cubs healthy and strong. From the looks of them they will need plenty. "

Gryffin smiled and lay down beside her three newborns, resuming her spot again as her pups cuddled close to her stomach. Gryffin licked them lovingly and smiled. She looked up to the form of Renn and smiled giving her a chuckle to her statement, "and a fine aunt you will be" Gryffin said with a smile before turning to gaze lovingly at her ivory mate.
Gryffin reached up to tenderly lick the arctic male and whispered i the same soft tone, "The other two are both femme's." Gryffin said and licked them.
Gryffin then cocked her head and watched as Sudak got up and trotted out of the den, "Where are you going?" Gryffin asked quietly but the male had already left the den. The tri hued mother then smiled and licked the youngest pup, "I think I'll name her Aiyu" Gryffin giggled, "What do you think Renn about the name?" She asked, it was the gold pelted she wolf who had suggested the name in the first place.
Before long the scent of meat reached Gryffin's nostrils and her ear perked up. Until now did she realize how hungry she really was and now without her pups it felt like her stomach was empty. Gryffin licked her lips and saw the form of a white wolf padding down into the den with a mouth full of meat. Gryffin's tail wagged in delight as she barked. She watched as Sudak dropped the herla meat by her paws and Gryffin reached up to give the male a large kiss on his muzzle. Auburn tail wagging she grinned, "Why thank you, I'm starving" Gryffin yipped and tore into the flesh hungrily. Licking her lips she felt bad for not sharing the rest of the meat with everyone else but her hunger said other wise.

Sudak was now at this point starving himself as well. He had built up a long endurance from the lack of food that he had endured the previous winter within the listern borders. However he ignored this urge to eat as he was now at the will of his mate. She could not leave them at such a crucial time in their newborn's lives. Instead Sudak lay by her side and with his head on his paws he let out a long sight while staring deep into the souls of his new children. Taking in their beauty and innocence he closed his eyes and imagined them all grown. Himself and his children playing together, on a hunt, howling to the moon. All of these visions seemed so real and right in front of him till he once again opened his eyes to reveal their frailty. Again he let out a sigh as he moved his eyes from one varg to another that were scattered throughout the tightly knit den. His cub's future family and friends. Their future lay in all of their hands as well as Gryffin and Himself. They were young now yes but that would change quickly as Sudak had learned with the cubs borne of his drappa, Fiory. Her pups also were born under the blanket of white that lay just within a paw's reach of the den entrance. The bitter coldness fiercly battling it's way against the warmth provided by the varg that lay inside the den. At that point the name that would prove the strength of the Dragga within their litter would be found and given. With a quick nuzzle the tiny Mann Sudak whispered the name his son should eternally carry.
"Grow strong my son... Arias... Grow strong and overcome this fierce, bitter air that so curses these mountains winter after winter."
The journey had begun and it was up to his mate and himself to ensure their protection, their life... the life of List

Gryffin smiled, her auburn tail wagging behind her. She looked up at the wolves gathered around her and she grinned with pride. Looking down now Gryffin nuzzled the middle pup. "You shall be my little Sora." Gryffin smiled and licked the newly named she whelp.
Gryffin looked up to see if anyone would protest to the name. Emerald oculars scanned and watched as light snowflakes began to plummet from the grey skies. It was a beautiful sight but also a horrid sight to see. The grounds were now only covered with a thin layer of snow but Gryffin knew that soon it would be much deeper and the climate would turn to harshly, with snowstorms upon the horizons. Gryffin was afraid for her first litter, but she knew they would make it. After all Fiory's had made it last winter.
Gryffin watched as they continued to squeal and wiggle, their ears flat against their head and their eyes shut tight. Their bodies almost furless save the little fuzz that covered them. The future of List was now brought into a world. A world where they must face great obstacles to thrive and survive. But for now, they were safe, and the days that went by were easy. Only this was the first step in a long journey ahead.
