The days were slowly getting colder and Gryffin shivered as she padded through the Listern territory the skies were grey and purple as the Sun began to sink behind the horizon. Her tail was raised high as she scented the area about. Her tri hued coat was now fluffy with winter down as her paws sliced through the dried of leaves leaving the trees naked. Gryffin paused, her belly now visibly round and bloated stirred with life.
The female licked her lips and padded along the bank of a beach. The round pebbles grinded under her paws as she padded on. Her emerald eyes wandered toward the lake, its crimson shimmer still evident as she padded closer toward the den. Her ears twitched and she stopped. The lake moved with soft slow ripples, moved and swayed by the force of the winter breeze.
The tri hued varg padded on as she paused at the entrance to the den. She gazed at it the den that had been unused and unkept since she herself had been whelped her some seasons ago. Gryffin stepped forward and lifted a paw and scratched the side of the entrance with her claws. She then brought her muzzle closer to the entrance and scented it. it smelt strongly of the Femme beta. She had spent many of the past weeks dwelling in this area away from most of the pack members.
Gryffin then padded into the den, her sides rubbing against the edge of the den's entrance as she slipped inside. Her emerald orbs glowed as they adjusted themselves to the sudden darkness of the cooler, spacious room. What Gryffin saw was a large room though the entrance was small and only one adult could slip through at a time The floor of the den was carpeted with dried leaves and fur from the awaiting mother. GRyffin let a smile wash onto her lips but as her emerald eyes wandered around the den her eyes fell as her muzzle dipped and her ears fell against her skull. This was the den where she had been whelped, raised fro ma blind, deaf cub into what she was today. She padded toward the back of the wall and placed a paw o on the wall when she gasped and dipped her muzzle. On the muddy floor of the den she could make out one clear imprinted paw mark of a wolf. Gryffin cocked her head and lifted her paw and dropped it onto the print itself. It fit perfectly. "mother" Gryffin whispered and sighed before turning around and padding through the dens entrance. When she got out night had already fallen and the sky was a deep navy. But to Gryffin's surprise the clouds had uncurtained a brilliant clear sky filled with glittering stars.
Gryffin's aunts had always told her that to seek out her mother she would have to look heavenward. Seek her answers from the stars. Gryffin smiled as her emerald optics reflected the beauty that glistened on the midnight canvas. "father...lyft, bila..." Gryffin whispered under her breath as she padded forward into the midnight chill. "Mother.." Gryffin whispered as she directed her muzzle to the sky. "will i ever be great as you were? Though my paw fits in your path.. can i follow your foot steps? will i be a great mother, like you were to me?" Gryffin said and sighed before turning herself around and prying her emerald gaze away from the stars when suddenly something caught her eye. Gryffin spun her head around in time to see a shooting star descend from the heavens and disappearing behind the horizon.

Sudak had been keeping a closer eye on Gryffin the closer she was to her day to bring new life into the world under Tor and Fenris' eyes, under the eyes and guidance of the past varg that so proudly, truthfully and dominantlly mentored himself and his mate. Sudak could ask for nothing more than what they had provided him with, a life. Not just any life however, a life filled with miracles and adventure, but most of all a life of love and devotion, for the pack and most of all Gryffin.
Under the careful eyes of the ivory pelted varg, there was no doubt that Gryffin's dissapearance to the lakeside den hadn't gone unnoticed by himself. As Sudak took in the scents upon the darkening sky he knew that his precense was needed. There was something pulling him towards Gryffin and as time passed he could hardly spend much time away from her. He quickly dashed through the forests to the lake that Gryffin had secretly revealed to him as they had become newly found mates. The whelping den lying just beyond the shoreline. The stories she shared of her mother seemed much clearer when she told them after that moment. He could visualize how the serenity of the lake and the peacefullness and elegance of her mother would merge to make a surreal scene of unimmaginable beauty. Sudak found himself padding through the overgrowth and soon to have the soft, dry dirt of the forest replaced by the cool, wet pebbles that surrounded the lake. He stopped aside the lake to see Gryffin emerge from the whelping den of her cubhood and the future whelping den of their expected litter. Her head raised heavenward he too looked to the darkening abyss. The stars shinning brighter than any night he'd seen before. Sudak heard Gryffin's prayers to her mother, to those that so lovingly mentored Sudak and herself. He began to slowly pad to her side as to his surprise he saw her head bolt skyward once again but this time to a different position. As if instinc Sudak's auds perked forward and his head sped to the destination that Gryffin peered to. The shooting star had great signifigance to the two. The spirits of the past would always live on within them, therefore never dying. They would always watch over the couple.
Sudak felt a tug at his heart as the star fell beyond the trees and mountains, not sure exactly what it was but it had definitelly struck a nerve in the ivory male. With his head lowered he turned back to Gryffin and completed his pad to her side then to nuzzle her neck warmly that only a loving mate could give. With that he began to whisper,
"I'm sure your mother would have it no other way my love. There is no doubt in my heart that you will be a mother beyond mothers... There is no doubt in my heart. Your mother would be proud."

((anyone can join, just umm let me and sudak post a bit before ^^))
Gryffin smiled as her emerald optic followed the path of the bright star as it made its way across the navy streaked sky. The sound of footsteps resounded behind her and the tri hued femme turned around to see an ivory coated varg. Gryffin smiled and nuzzled the white male affectionately."Hullo Sudak." she greeted with a warm smile. "oh i do hope i will be" she replied with dear longing in her voice. She smiled and laughed, "I'm sure you'll be a great father too." she said and nuzzled him once more as she sighed contently.
Gryffin's eyes then searched the skies again, "hey remember when we saw a shooting star up on that hill we used to always play in?" Gryffin asked reminiscing about her puppy hood and how she had spent most of her time with Sudak. Play fighting or when they had learned to hunt with Fiory. Gryffin smiled. Those days had seemed so long ago.

The caressing words that Gryffin provided Sudak let his body sink into hers. He really did hope that he would be great father. To be there for his children no matter what. Protecting them from whatever came their way. Sudak gave Gryffin the sweet, warm nuzzle back as he closed his eyes tightly shut and leaned into her soft dawny pelt. It was moments like that Sudak lived for, to be close and nuzzled up close to his mate, the one he loves and lives for. Soon Gryffin motioned towards the hilltop that lay overlooking the whelping den's lake.
" ohh how could I forget that night. That was the night we gave our hearts to each other. I see the star everytime I gaze into your eyes... how could I forget you."
Sudak whispered, at first towards the night sky but then he did start to gaze deep into her serene, crystal eyes. The two varg had grown so much since their puppihood that they shared together, step by step on that hilltop. From their first howling together to giving their hearts to one another forever, as Shato, Bila, and Lyft as their witness. Not to mention Tor and Fenris as well.
Sudak now focused down towards the tri-hued fae's belly that now seemed to be bounding full of life. He lowered his nose as to further inspect it. Slightly touching her stomach with his cold dark nose soon to pull back to face Gryffin nose to nose.
"How much longer do you think? I don't think they can wait to get out... We have so much to show them of the world."
//Oh well it's something huh? Ohh I saved our other big threads on my computer, but I think I'm missing one special one.. I have the "Blue Light" and "A Beautiful Future"... I could have sworn there was another one.//

((wasn't there a hunting one we had with fiory? and your joining thread)
Gryffin smiled and nuzzled the white varg back. She sighed with happiness and leaned into the varg's soft mane. "Yes how I do remember it as well." Gryffin whispered softly. She could remember much, as if it were yesterday. Gryffin could remember as well the day that Sudak had first stumbled across the List territories as a shy young pup. Gryffin had come out to greet with with her out going nature and bouncy play. She had liked the varg from the first time she had saw him. Though her father had been wary of the white male Gryffin and her mother had let him stay and now he had grown up as a strong and skillful warrior and beta male. Gryffin's auburn tail wagged as she remembered their first hunt. How horrible they had been. They couldn't even catch mice! and a dozen of them there were.
Gryffin hopped up on her back feet and nipped Sudak playfully on the ear before replying, "Oh I don't think it will be too much longer." Gryffin said and her gaze was once again brought up wards toward the heavenly skies.
"I'd say in a sun or two,"Gryffin said, "I can feel them kicking, they want out" she laughed as she felt the inside of her belly move again.

// Wasn't that hunt with Lyft, not Fiory??? and I sadly can't get back to my joining thread... *POINTS PAWS AT HACKER*//
Sudak saw Gryffin dive after his ear but he let her grasp onto it playfully. He responded with a return "attack" after her ear but they soon stopped as Gryffin's gaze returned to the heavens. He heard Gryffin let out a giggle and Sudak gazed to her with a giggle also. He lowered his nose once again to her swollen belly and this time held his nose there touching it gently. He felt a few bumps which made the ivory male pull back surprised. The gift of life that they had produced now lived with his tri-hued mate. He put a huge smile upon his maw and quickly gazed back up to Gryffin.
"Oh wow, they really are jumpy, aren't they... It's too bad you have to carry such a burden yourself. Of course I am here for you. Just let me know if there is anything I can do for you my love."
Sudak then, still with a smile on his maw gazed back down to her belly, just amazed beyond amazement. Then with a glassy eyes he lifted his maw to the heavens and let out a howl of all howls. That full of love, peace, and joy. That of a fater and loving mate. With his eyes held tightly shut and his feet planted firmly he lifted his song to the heavens and through the Carpathian Mountains for all to here and rejoice.

Gryffin nuzzled Sudak and chuckled at his words. "Don't feel sorry." She said her lips curling in a smile as her emerald orbs fell from the heavens and landed to gaze into the optics of Sudak. "The gods have made it the femme be the ones to carry the pups." Gryffin said raising an eyebrow and laughing. "My what a sight it would be to see a Mann round in the stomach with whelps eh?" She grinned and leaned over to lick the white male on the cheek before yawning and shaking out her fur.
Gryffin giggled some more as she read the shocked expression of amazement on Sudak's facade as he experienced the movements of the unborn pups. "Yes they do kick alot. They have the energy of their father I must say" Gryffin smiled before sitting back to admire Sudak's howl. It had grown much as the white Mann, once a lost pup had grown into a strong and handsome dragga. And his howl deeper and stronger.
Gryffin's eyes fluttered shut as she let the song of the wolf flow through her, Her ears twitching as she lifted her muzzle as well and part her lips. Taking an inhale of cold air Gryffin released her song. A much higher pitched melody as it weaved through the air and melted in with the male's song as their chorus sweeped through the List lands for all to hear and wonder.
((umm i think the hunting was with fiory. The training was with Lyft ^^))

As Sudak let his song fade into the heavens with his eyes slowly reopening to view his mate head lifted still let her song fade away as well to then be carried through the mountains of Transylvania. The sky now being a much deeper shade of the ivory manns eyes Sudak lay in front of the whelping den on the lakeside now nuzzling Gryffin's side as to invite her to rest with him. They would be very busy soon and would need all the rest they could get. The warm touch of his mate entranced him and he slowly drifted off to a peaceful sleep to the soft, rolling sound of the waves along the lakeside as the crystal water rolled over the stones spread around. A slight bump could be felt as he lay at her side pressed into her tri-hued pelt that drowned out the biting cold breeze that rolled through the treeline. The cubs were certainly ready to experience the real world and they wouldn't quiet down until they got there way. // I'm not sure anymore about that hunting post... I don't really remember the hunting one that well but I do remember doing something like that with Fiory... .ohh maybe we did, lol... I trust you //

Gryffin nuzzled Sudak and lowered herself gently to the ground beside the white male. Leaning against him Gryffin curled up smugly and her emerald orbs were covered as she fell into a light sleep. For some reason that night, her unborn pups were kicking more often then they were and it took the young femme a while before she could actually fall asleep.
But it felt like only a minute had gone by when Gryffin was awoken by a sharp pain in her stomach. She lifted her head and let out a silent whine, her back legs twitched with every painful contraction she felt. At first it scared the young Fae and her ear fell back against her head. Lifting her head up to the skies she saw that much time had passed since she had fallen asleep for the moon was far across the sky. Gryffin got up on weary paws as silently as she could, trying not to buckle as her emerald optics fell gently on the still sleeping form of Sudak. Gryffin didn't feel the need to wake him and so she turned and silently padded toward the whelping dens.
Her steps were disoriented as she tried to concentrate on the path in front of her but more of her attention was put on the pain that affected her abdomen. Gryffin slipped into the darkness of the den and padded to the back where she then layed down. She had realized that her breathing had deepened and the pain had intensified. Gryffin whimpered her ears glued to the back of her head a she pawed the ground. Fear washed over her as she experienced something so new and strange to her. But soon as time lengthened Gryffin began to relax and found that it was much easier now.
Time elapsed and much later found Gryffin tending to a small almost furless thing that made much nose. It whimpered its high pitched squeals and Gryffin loved every piece of it. Pink tongue out stretched and wrapped the young life with tender licks as she cleaned the newborn. Gryffin smiled and gently placed the whelp beside another who was already sucklign greedily by Gryffin's belly. The new mother so tender and knowing yet so inexperienced lowered her muzzle and ran her tongue over them once more. But no sooner later her abdomen begin to pain once again. Gryffin whined as time went on and the night began to sink away.
((the rest of the pack can post now, umm yah I didn't finish it entirely cause i still need info from some people so i must chase them down and sorry this one sucked so much))

Her world disappeared. She was still in her sack of water, and confusion swept into her undeveloped mind. She kicked with small, weak legs, lifting her head inside the sack, looking with lidded eyes into darkness. Something was not right, and desperately she shook her small head, becoming more and more frantic. She could not breathe, and the only thing she had was taking over: instinct. It had been born with her, and without even realizing it, she felt desperate for air. The whelp did not know what it was, but she would have it, and she also knew that she would not live if she did not have it. A sudden burst of defiance appeared in the wake of her panic, and the swelling desire to survive filled her and drove her to fight for life that waited for her only inches above and below. The small wolf newborn could not do it alone, and she would have suffocated unless the sharp teeth of the mother did not nip lightly at the transparent sack, causing the water to splash onto the ground and soak it. She fell to the den floor and was greeted by cold. Never had she known such a horrible feeling. The air in the earthen den surround her and bit at her wet, dark brown skin. It wrapped itself around her small, nearly furless body, and nearly chased away her strength. For a moment she kicked in terror, trying to fight it away, her chest burning from lack of air. And than she breathed. Chill air fled into her lungs and rattled her small chest. She nearly choked in surprise and fear, but she kept drawing those slow, shaky breaths, her body quivering. If she did not find warmth her fragile heart beat would cease, but soon after her first gasp for life, teeth clutched lightly at the nape of her neck. She felt a sudden sting and let out a small squeak of pain that could barely be heard. Her young, inexperienced mother had bit the precious bundle to hard, but not hard enough to kill her. The gentle jaws loosened around the folds of her skin, and the pain slowly subsided. The whelp hung quietly in the yawning jaws, turning slightly, the cold stabbing at her still. It seemed as if the mother had paused to see the damage she might have accidentally caused to her young, helpless child, and with baited breath and a racing heart she was still, ears pricked to listen for signs of life. But the newborn was still alive, and even though she felt numbness crawl through her limbs, safety washed over her. She knew without having to be told or to be wise that this was her mother, and that she was safety. The teeth lightly holding onto her was the line between life and an untimely death. This was love, and this was food and protection. If she never strayed far, these watchful emerald eyes would be her savior, and if she ever strayed into the brink of danger, these same, tender teeth would be her heroes.
She was placed between large paws, and warmth reverberated from them. A shiver ran through her body as she squirmed closer to those paws, wanting desperately for that heat to surround herself. The breaths no longer shook her body and surprise no longer entered every time a freezing bubble of air swept into her lungs. The cold air did not agree with the young cub as soon as she remembered what it felt like to be warm, and she squirmed forward till she came to her mother’s rising chest. The air trapped in there was pleasant, and she stuck her black, wet nose and sucked in her first breath of warm air. The thick, multicolored fur of her mother’s tickled her and touched her with heat. She fought to get closer to that warmth, and than she felt something. It was a steady thumping, powerful and strong. The wolf cub froze, and realized subconsciously that it was her mother’s heart and that it somehow kept her alive just like breathing. A sense of comfort swam over her, and she began to take in breaths more slowly, but they were regular and filling. She knew this heartbeat, it had been with her for forever, along with four others beating beside her own. Together they had kept her alive, and she seemed to remember this and grow stronger. Something great, wet, and warm swept along her breath, and she lifted her head slightly, than shuffled into the warmth. The comfort of the pink tongue swept over her body, and that same feeling of safety nearly swamped her again. Her mother was licking her body dry and fondling over her new female cub. Wonder might have filled her when she realized that it was because of her and the father that this cub had life, and that as long as she was able to, she would be the keeper of that precarious flame she had given to the whelp. She was now the giver, and she was now the Wounded. A deep love for these cubs she was baring into the world had been delved nearly two moons ago, a love so strong that the care she had for her own life seemed to diminish in the brand new maternal love. It was so powerful, pure, and simple that it made the heart ache, and it awoke the desperate desire to protect and nourish. Fear was awoken too, the fear of losing the bundles she loved so much, and the knowledge that one day, they would be on their own. The father would love them too, but he had not felt the pain the mother did to deliver them into life. It was a pain far greater than any other, and it was one that had started with love and would continue on with love that would never die.
The Beta stopped cleaning her child, and instead gazed with the Wounded look at her little one, before picking it up once more, this time without causing it hurt, and lay it near her side as she prepared for the two newborns littermates to join them in the den. It had started almost as soon as her mother had picked her up the first time, and it had made a rapid crescendo as time passed. Hunger awoke in the empty stomach of the small cub, and she let out a pitiful, demanding squeak as she was set on the dirt, this time stronger than her last one. Instinct kicked into her mind, to small to have any independent thoughts, and she scrambled hurriedly forward to the List wolf’s belly. She ran alongside another cub, her sibling, and let out a wild kick and a furious squeal before fastening roughly onto her mother, biting and suckling in warmth. All three of there hearts beat together, for the moment innocent and pure. She had made it this far, and her future was opening with meadows and forests of opportunities. A battler had been born into a wolf pack called List.

An ivory form barely visible through the pounding snowfalls and howling winds was struggling to make its way to shelter of some kind. A close inspection would reveal this form to be that of a varg, but alone on the barren vast expanses of the Tundra this was not just a varg. It actually happened to be that of a cub. With his eyes cloed Sudak pushed forward through the blizzard, the winds playing curel tricks on his mind along the way. "suuuudaaaak" the voices in his head were saying. He desperately searched the horizon for any sign of life where this voice would be coming from. With no hope for a source he continued on with a low spirit and chilled to the bone. The voice he had heard had such a farmiliar tone to it. It drove him further and further to find it. A desire to be close to it, the safety and welcoming in it had such a wonderfuly warm feeling. Suddenly as if out of nowhere a form of another ivory varg faded in on the horizon. Sudak's quickly weaking body stuggled to push forward as he plowed his way through the building snow. He caught sight of the varg and joy filled his eyes, but within them he also so sorrow. Sudak pushed forward harder and harder trying his best to reach his mothers side and have her safety she provided dwell over him once again. Sudak lunged over the snow banks with all of his puppy might just then to fall deep into the quickly gathering snow. He desperately tried to make his way out when he suddenly heard a sharp bolting sound ring through the landscape. BANG!!! Sudak froze suddenly still with fear. His ears fully erect and alert however. He dug the the rest of his way back to the surface of the bank to find his mother's form laying limply upon the white tundra. Sudak cried out with all of his puppy might. "MOOTTHEEER!" However as he struggled once again with the snow once again he collapsed in exhaustion and he cried his heart out into the snow. His little puppy couldn't last much longer in these conditions, he slowly raised his head to look back where the form his mother lay only to find, with tears still streaming in his eyes. The form of his mother was no longer there but now right by his side stood the puppy form of a tri-hued fae who had such a farmiliar essesence. The young varg at the same age as he whipsered into his ear. "I love you too Sudak, since, well since we were pups. I only know now that it is called love." Sudak tilted his head but this had taken his focus off of his mother's death and he stared back into her glowign emerald orbs now seeing who she trully was, as a an awakening rushed through him .... I love you too... Gryffin."
Sudak slowly awoke with the rush of the gentle waves sloshing on the pebbles not too far from where he lay. He raised his head and let out a big yawn while streching out his tongue and showing off his ivory fangs. He could see that he had been running very much in his sleep with the disturbed dirt that lay by his paws. He had seemed be build up small piles of dirt during his nightmare, or maybe it was a wonderful dream... all he could remember was that it had surely ended as an amazing dream. Sudak rolled over on his back to look over and find that Gryffin was no longer at his side. He quickly spun himself the rest of the way around till he lay on his paws then quickly rose standing tall searching for any sign of his mate. His eyes racing across the lakeside until it came upon the dirt beside him where she had lay. He saw lines where she had seemed to drag her paws as if injured, and they led straight to the whelping den Gryffin had chose many moons ago. Sudak started to bolt towards the den but as soon as he came close to the entrance Sudak slid to a halt remembering how faes in birthing did not like to be disturbed. His ears pinned to his crania now he whispered into the den "... Gryffin? My love are you ok?" Sudak smelt the strong aroma of blood seeping out of the den and he was urged to rush into the den to her aid but instinct told him to remain clear. Sudak whimpered and lay at the mouth of the den with his head lying on his paws staring for any sign of movement inside the den. Small whimpers could be heard barely audible inside and Sudak's ears shot up and his tail began to wag. Had Gryffin already delivered... were there pups here?

[glow=purple,2,3,00]((Hope I'm not interupting you two. But, this aunt's a bit nosey to see her new.....what, grand neices and nephews? Hmmmmmm *shrugs* If they call me grandma though I'll twack 'em. :-P jk. And the hunting thread was mine *hands Gryffin a cookie* the training thread was Lyft's. I was teaching you two how to hunt, with the catching of the feild mice...*reminises on that* Good times. :-P heheheh)) Ebon silk flew through the pack lands of List. Panting breaths of upheaval smoke billowed out of dialated nostrils. Gold splashed auditories flat against her cranium kept the aerodinamics of the agile shadow crisp and clean. A sillouette of the huntress was flung against tree and brush, even the side of the mountain as it flew by on twig thin stilts. The starry night above twinkled the arrival of new comers, and the pitch shadow had deciphered them well. Silence was her ally, and darkness was her friend. Stealth to her right and speed to her left. Across bramble and hillock of iced over plains, through the frozen meadow where the female had once trained the two she now seeked. The feild mice ran in terror back to their holes. A hare squeeked in fright as it leapt across the ground to the safty of it's burrow. A fawn huddled still in the frozen grasses, it's nostrils quivering as the shadow came closer and closer, before as if borrowing wings of a raven flew right over her. Fiory was not in the mood to hunt this evening. Even though her light demeanor and sickly thin appearance was more so then normal because of the winter's bitter cold and scarcity of food, the agile drappa of list could not think of food or her own starvation at the moment. Her neice was due this even, and she needed to be there. Faces in the dark tree lines guided her on, past the wolf looking west with it's proud stance, and the deer peering downward through pine tree branches. Through the valley below the smiling man in the mountain, who's face always looked so bright and cheery for the eon that it had been facing List's northern bound borders. On Fiory flew, as if nothing within this wood could slower her down, the ice and snow numbing her paws though falling on deafened nerves. It wasn't long, before the strong musty scent of Sudak reahed her hungry nostrils, and the stench of blood hung in the air. Her pace slowed to that of the most silent of walks, puffs of hot breath clinging in gasps of smoke as she made her way towards her beta male. Though Fiory had only been a mother once in her entire life, she knew that stench as if this winter were her own but a year before. She was far along, her neice. "How is she Sudak?" The growl came out in a majestic whisper, almost as if a raised voice might startle the pups into receeding back into the birth canal. Still as an ebony statue, Fiory stood, watching the entrance to Gryffin's den with great interest. The future of list was being born on one of the most beautiful nights this winter had had to offer...it would be, a glorious litter.[/glow]

Sudak shuffled his paws as Fiory entered into the scene quickly growing in its occupants. His head snapped over to his ebony drappa as she padded to his side and gazed into the den. With a big breath Sudak let out a long sigh. "I'm not sure Fiory. All I've heard are whines and the smell of blood is very strong. Something's telling me not go enter even though my heart's telling me to rush to her aid." A worried expression now clearly evident on his face. "You've been through this before Fiory, do you think she's ok?" Sudak was surely much younger than his star gazing drappa and his inexperience was very evident. With his gaze back on the darkness within the den Sudak continued to peer his senses deep into the blackness.
With a small whisper Sudak let out a whimper "ohh Gryff, be strong."

[glow=purple,2,3,00]Ebon whisps of fur glided gently against the passing wintery breezes that had a tendancy to shift through Fiory's coat. The smell of blood was very thick, and though worried for her neice, Fiory felt the same instinct driving her away from going within the den. Thoughts passed through her mind of a year ago, the saddest and happiest time of her young life. She remembered how she had wished her beloved Bristol would appear to save her from the pain, to help her along, though something distant within her had sworn that if he had set paw within the den, she would have bitten it cleanly off. It was this same instinct that kept Fiory and Sudak from entering the den now.
"I believe, she will be fine. Gryffin is one of the strongest vargs I have ever known in my entire life...She could even rival my late sister, Bila; Tor rest her soul...She is tough and nurturing like her mother and she will prevail in the task at hand." Fiory whispered solemnly, her ears pulled foreward continuing to listen. Little peeps, she was a great aunt now, and the feeling was tremendously overwhelming. So much so, she hardly registered it yet. Silence fell between Beta and Alpha for what seemed like a milennia of time. Slowly however, as the night wore on and Gryffin continued her nobel deed that only females cane perform, Fiory turned slowly to face Sudak again, her nose coming down and lightly grazing him on the shoulder, a whisper on her lips as she trailed up again across his ears.
"Congradulations Sudak...Your a father this eve..." Twinkling stars sparkled across the star gazers watery eyes, a smile on her face, but before Sudak could get the incling of wanting to rush within the den to see his new pups, Fiory stopped him.
"Hunt with me. Your mate will need food after her long ordeal..." Slowly the drappa turned, exposing just how skinny she had become over the short comings of winter. Her ribs were beginning their sickly impressions upon her fur, and were slowly visable to the world when she moved. Her back bone, when arched roughed up her once streamline sillouette with little boney hills across her back. Her agile legs, though always skinny, seemed deterierated to some extent. Muscle still bound to bone, but it seemed less so then usual. And her skull, though always slender to any varg who saw her, seemed more pronounced beneath her skin now. Her skin seemed to dip within two cranial holes in her head some, and the bridge of her muzzle seemed sharper, more boxy if you will as it ran from her skull to the tip of her nostrils. Though the only thing that looked the same as in summer and spring, were those beautiful golden hues, watery with both her fatigue, and with the aspect of witnessing new birth within her packlands.
"Come Sudak...She will be fine until your return...and besides."A cold playful smirk stretched across her sinuey black fur on that boney muzzle, exposing white canines as she furrowed her brows with determination glinting in her eyes. "I know where a fawn lays."[/glow]
