Padding steadily forward, a silver she-wolf made her way to the Border of List terra. Her grey optics sparkling Ilinga stopped to sit at the very edge of the scent mark, separating her from her goal. All that would break the barrier would be a howl for Tratto's Blessing or a one-Varg invasion into the heart of List. Raising her maw, the femme let her melody fill the silvery night, disturbing creautres everywhere to the howl of the Varg.
Closing her jaws, Ilinga gazed straight ahead, all attention focused on the rugged terrain before her. Spotting a movement, the silver femme was blinded by the pearly glow. Bathed in light, the femme looked unearthly, as if Tor herself had left the sky to come among the Lera as a Varg. Ilinga had come for a purpose, her goal was to meet Drathlic and speak with him.

((ooooh I see! Well delete that last post you made and I'll delete mine to save clogging the thread with OOC posts. And I'll reply now))
The night was young, and the skies were already increasing in darkness as Tor rose to her highest over the tree tops. For once in a while, Drathlic had felt increasingly restless and simply could not sleep amongst his friends within the List den. So to calm his nerves and let his thoughts trail, the ruddy youth had taken a short detour round the lower parts of the mountain - following a trail he often used during the day when such thoguhts were plaguing his over-active imagination. Under Tor's pale, milky glimour, the sky seemed clear and everything around the List terrain glistened in a dazzling white as frost clung mercilessly to the remaining vegetation and dead undergrwoth. Snow had fallen on the Caprathian mountain range, but it was still yet to leave it's trace vividly on the forest and forest floor - which was greatly strange for this time of year. However the youth was none the wiser, for this was his first winter and he had never experienced snow like the adult wolves older than him had. His pelt had grown thick and coarse like that of a young varg's and all his puppy fluff had long since gone. Drathlic was now taking on the appearance of a strong juvenille, and his once so pathetic excuse for a tail was now growing thick and brushy like that of an adults.
Stopping dead in his tracks Drathlic's auds perked and his nose twitched at the sound of a howl calling that of Tratto's Blessing. He knew that voice. Throwing back his own head the ruddy adolescent sent out his own call, not quite as high pitched and young as it had been only a moon ago. Now it was far stronger, though not as defined as it would be in another few moons.
Taking off from his stance, the young male bounded over the rocky terrain with a great speed - dodging the protruding rocks and shifting boulders with great ease as he had now grown extremely used to such threats during his time in List. It took little time for his to race to the mountain's foothills and for his sister, illuminated in their Goddess' pale glow, to come into view. Giving out a sharp bark he held his tassel high and waved it frantically before racing down to her side - skidding to an abrupt hald and nuzzling her scruff affectionatly. "You're welcome here Ilinga. Thank you for calling out Tratto's Blessing," he spoke breathlessly as he gasped for air, now realising how out of breathe he'd become.

Watching his russet form pelt towards her, Ilinga stepped out of the light so that she should not be blinded by the white light. Obscured in the shadows, the silver femme called softly to her brother, Drathlic. A smill flittering across her silver maw, Ilinga nipped her brother's aud in greeting.
"It's good to see you again, Drathlic," the silver femme began. "I came to see you and ask how the Pack is doing." Not explaining her true reasons for coming to List terra, Ilinga's grey orbs betrayed nought of her what she was really feeling. Remaining standing, Ilinga peered out at the rugged terrain that her brother lived on. It seemed to call to her and she felt her heart yurn to run with a Pack again. But she knew that she could not join List, for Drathlic hated Tarriq and Ilinga would never leave him. Infact, the only Packs she had even minutely considered were Koran and Deor.

Nipping her aud in return, Drathlic then pulled back as she began to speak and he remained standing, tail wagging furiously for his sister to have finally returned to his packlands to see him. Noticing something betrayful glimmer in her silvery eyes, Drathlic cocked an aud curiously before taking on account of what she had said and shaking his head from the thought, remembering to breathe and smiled gleefully. "I'm good thanks. Things in List are good too. I brought two of my friends here and they've both been accepted by Fiory and Bristol. Well...Silent is only ehre temporarily to see if she comes in useful throughout the winter months. But I'm sure she'll be fine here," he spoke breathlessly. Though remembering now that faint shimmer in her eye, he frowned deeply and gave her a gentle nudge with his muzzle in a questioning manner. "Are you ok sis?"

Deliberately avoiding his query{sp?}, Ilinga caught hold of the words about Silent. "Another femme, eh?" She growled friendly. "Aren't you making a bit of a habit of that? Or do you enjoy befriending femme's" The sparkle in her eye proved she was only teasing the ruddy adolescent.

Hearing her teasing words sent Drathlic's hackles on end as he tore his gaze from her own, growling deeply and scuffing the frozen earth with his paw. Ever since he had befriended a faemme, only two on occasion taking them to the List terrain in hope for Fiory or Bristol to take them in, he had had nothing but grief from others. He'd gained a reputation for picking up stray Kerls and attempting to give them a home. He had told Renn about List because he knew it was the right thing to do. She had no one and was as young as he was but without a gaurdian to watch over her through the hard months. Silent was better adapted to life as a Kerl, but he had felt so sorry for the mottled grey faemme that he had already mentioned how he'd helped another that it should of been an offer at the very least. Fair enough these vargs were only teasing him, but Drathlic was finding the joke hard to take. "Female's are easy to make friends with ok? They're gentle and friendly, they don't take advantage or like to beat you down like males," he muttered in a stroppy fashion to Ilinga, peering his azure gaze up for a mere moment to catch onto her grey one.
With a growl he lifted his head and shook it to the side before raising his tail and peering hard into her eyes. She still had not answered her, and he was not satisfied with her quick change of discussion. "Seriously Ilinga. What's wrong? You wouldn't come to visit me this late in the night if you hadn't something to say. The look in your eyes betrays you - and you know it," he grunted bluntly. If Ilinga had something to share with him or ask him, he was there for her - and just to let her know it he leaned forward and gave her a warm, affectionate nuzzle before pulling back and waiting for an answer.

"You don't want to get stroppy with me, little brother!" Ilinga's voice was sharp as she admonished Drathlic, emphasising the word 'little', deliberately provoking the adolescent, her gray orbs daring him to snap again. A low growl rumbled in her throat as Drathlic began to stare intently into her eyes, for they both knew it was rude to stare. But when Drathlic dropped his gaze and nuzzled her with his maw, Ilinga softened slightly, but her fur still bristled as he continued to question her intention. "It's nothing really. . ." Drifting off, Ilinga looked away, unable and ashamed to reveal.

Growling deeply at his sister's retort, he couldn't help but pull his lips back into a deffensive snarl against her. The youth may have been her younger brother, but he was nearly fully grown and already reaching her large size. He was no fighter, but like any varg he had instincts. And with that he could throw a hefty bite at ehr if she inflicted any damage to him...not that the taste of blood or the scent of it would make him want to retaliate...nor the pain.
Shrugging it off as she trailed her gaze and words off towards the mountains, hiding again the guilt and shame that was residing in her grey hues, he growled and padded closer to Ilinga, bowing his head and licking her chin in an affectionate yet slightly submissive manner. "Just tell me Ilinga. What am I going to say?" he pleaded in a softer tone, hoping to slowly bring it out of his sister...eventually..

Watching the ruddy youth, Ilinga's hackles rose and her fur bristled. His new-found stubborn streak was severly irritating. "I'm lonely, Okay!" Ilinga snapped. "Ever since you left, I haven't had anyone. Tarriq and me are often separated and though I wander and try to make friends, nothing seems to work. And. . .now that Moonsilver is back, I'm terrified Drathlic." Exhuasted, Ilinga flopped down, her silver fur shimmering. Not even bothering to raise her head from the floor, the silver faemme stared straight ahead, her breathing harsh and fast.

Watching as she snapped, her hackles rising and those silvery eyes flashing with irritation, Drathlic knew that she was not standing for his persistance. Though she still told him, explained the sad truth of her lonliness. She fell to the ground at Drathlic's paws and his auds flattened against his head. Never had he seen his sister in such a state - simply staring off past him and laying like a limp carcass before him. Letting out a slight whine he lowered himself to the ground by her side, giving her muzzle a soft lick before placing his head softly on top of hers, his body curling round her front in an awkward fashion so that his flanks were almost sitting on her maw.
Laying there for several minutes in silence, he let out another whine and gave her aud a gentle nip. "I'm sorry Ilinga. But...if you're as lonely as you say. Then...why don't you take residence in a pack or something? Wolves aren't meant to be alone," he spoke thoughtfully, trying his luck at any advice that his young mind could muster. Unaware of course, Ilinga was already allowed slight freedom, with permission from Tratto's Blessing, to wander in the terrain of List. However...after the rise in member count and with Gryffin's pups being born...would that freedom still be declared?

Drathlic's soft neck fur tickled her own, and the silver femme considered pushing him off her. For a few breif moments, Ilinga had let go of her dignity and had a breakdown of sorts before her brother. His breath tickled her ear as he whispered of joining a Pack, doing his best to comfort her with his words. Drawing breath, Ilinga thought of all the Packs. Sarnes was not an option, neither really, was Ge-Rad, both of which being to one-way in good-evil. For a few suns, Ilinga had considered Koran and Deor, both of which were strong Packs in need of Members, both of which had good reputations, but as the days had grown shorter and the weather colder, all Ilinga could think of was the warm brush of fur and the puppy-yip of her brother, who ran with List. It was true that Ilinga yearned to join List and be with her brother, but unfortunately, List had closed its gates to wandering Kerls, and though Fiory might let her in, the other Vargs certainly wouldn't. However, Ilinga wanted Drathlic to at least know she wanted to be with him. "I want to be with you, Drathlic, to run with List, a strong Pack, and to hunt as one with you. I miss you much, Drathlic." The silver faemme had really let her last scrap of dignity go this time.

Observing the emotion that brewed in Ilinga's usually strong and ahrd grey eyes, Drathlic found only sorrow, lonliness and a plee to belong somewhere. In fact, the ruddy male was greatly suprised with himself that he'd managed to understand the emotions she held within her eyes, for often he would be clueless to them - or at least the emotions that Renn was experiencing. As Ilinga lifted her head to speak to her brother, Drathlic took a tender step back and listened to her, a gentle smile curling the edges of his lips as she spoke. Flattening his auds against his head and leaning closer, the timber male rubbed his head affectionatly along her muzzle and under her chin. Pulling back so that he could peer into his sister's face, he let out a soft chuckle and let his brushy tassel sway in a content fashion. "I miss you too Ilinga. And I would love for you to join List so that you would never be alone. But...already our numbers have grown and Fiory and Bristol don't want anymore vargs to join. I'm sorry. But...there are still other packs you could join?" he added on, seeming hopeful. But before the silvery faemme would think he was merely trying to get rid of her, he added on quickly, "I jsut don't want you to be lonely Ilinga, as I know how horrible it can feel."

The faemme nodded her silver head slowly, aknowledging Drathlic's protest. Ilinga knew her brother all to well to want to get rid of her, to drive her away from Listern terra. Well, I have tried, The silver femme thought to herself, moving cloer to her brother and lifting her head to nip his aud in affection. It was true what Ilinga had siad earlier, for the she-wolf had predicted that Fiory's kind heart would allow her to stay, temporarily at least, Ilinga had not seen the Drappa for a while, and greatly wished to thank her for looking after Drathlic. As for the Betas whom the silver femme had had the pleasure of meeting, well, if she came begging to Gryffin, Ilinga suspected that the tri-hued femme would not allow her to stay, as the two she-Vargs had had a fallout some time ago, when Ilinga was an old adolescent. Sudak would probably be the same as Gryffin, though Ilinga had not had a decent conversation with the ivory Mann, merely a few glances passed between the two. The Kerl could not remember much of what the other Pack Members looked like, or what they were called, but she could remember a mottled black Mann, slightly older than Drathlic, but definitely a cub. Little did Ilinga know that since then, many more Vargs had joined List, and that Gryffin had given birth, boosting the numbers of List to eleven. "I understand, Drathlic," Ilinga growled, resting her head agingst the ruddy youth's warm neck-fur. "I shouldn't have asked you. Mean while, could you recommend another Pack possible to join, bar Sarnes?"
