[glow=purple,9,000]The snow had slowly stopped over the past few weeks, and grass was beginning to show again beneath their depths...The herla were returning and List was going to be thriving once more. Then why such sadness?
Near a small billowing weeping willow tree, sat Fiory. Her hackles were lowered, and her head had sunked down. Her tail did not move, even with the slight breeze that swished through the vine sof the tree. Tears were streaming down her face, for the body that lie in front of her. There, lay the lifeless form of Bila, the old drappa of List, and the sister of the new Drappa. Golden orbs took in every folical of hair that didn't move, and the stiff expression upon her sister's frozen in time face as she sat there, in mourning.
"I am sorry my sister..that I was not there...to protect you, to help you, forgive me, angel of Tor...forgive me.." The mysterious voice of Fiory rang out half silently in the eeryness of the place just to the edge of Lists's borders. Slowly, her head raised high into the air and a loud call escaped her maw. It was an urgent one, and it flew upon silver wings through the sky, back to the pack of List Fiory had left behind her for the moment. Back to every auditory of the pack members for they needed to know. Calling them here to pay their respects, with a sorrowful cry, not like her usual airy mysteriously soothing on. This one was full of doubt, full of hatred, full of sorrow it seeped and leaked everywhere that the message flew.....She was calling...for her dear sister...[/glow]

*The cooling breeze ruffled the branches of trees that loomed overhead the paw trodden paths which were now toned down to muddy slush as the weather warmed ever slightly as Spring moved into play, yet dotted aruond the forest's undergrowth and within the shadows of ice there still clunch snow and glassy ice, refusing to wither and die like the flowers and plants which it had slaughtered through the winter. Light pink and white blossoms began to bud on the fruiting trees and added extra colour and life to the muddy and grim forestry, bringing lera and herla from all walks of life to their homeland...the adobe of the wild wolf and first among the putnar.
Death hung grimly in the air as the long legged, lean emissary of List padded on light paws through the borders of her homeland. She could sense the tension and her head hurt with it, making her ears flatten against her cranium as she whined and lowered her head, slowing her lope to a walk as she made her way slowly to where the howl had been called from. The call was desperate and sad...and Lyft knew it could only have been from her beloved friend Fiory. News had caught her auds on the wind of the proud Drappa Bila being slaughtered...but Lyft had been away from List for some time now, trying to let lose her feelings and come back as a new wolf...but this would prove a mistake. Bila and Lyft had never been terribly close...and never had they truly settled their arguments of the past. And now that Lyft had been absent in her time of death and to never have said sorry for her past sins, it hung like a storm cloud over her soul and all she had cleared on her time away was back, the guilt and rotten misery had returned.
In the clearing, under the great willow who's long drooping branches swayed back and forth like a silent song, calling the wolves of the pack to the sisters who were beneath it's shelter and safety. Lyft entered the area, her head low in respect to Fiory, who she was soon aware to be the new Drappa of her pack. As Beta she respected Fiory but continued forth on her long agile legs, silvery white pelt tinged with blue ruffled in the wind as her hackles settled. Her long necked stretched out as she tenderly licked Fiory's ebon muzzle, the two contrasting in colour...but with their sorrows very similar, for now both ahd lost a sister and Lyft was able to emphasise deeply with Fiory's loss. In a hushed voice, trembling slightly as she held back her deep emotions, she whispered in a light and airy voice to her friend, words of true meaning and ones of true understanding. But yet they couldn't help...only her pressence would give some sort of comfort for the proud mother and Drappa.
I'm sorry...

The howl. Was crisp and clear. A summoning son, a mourning song. Gryffin pricked her ears erect and acute. But shock was in her eyes, entangled in the vines of fear as she rose to her feet. She eyed the wolf whom was sleepign beside her and decided not to disturb Sudak. With gallant speed she burst out of the List den and out into the open. The meltign snow sticking to her paws as she cantered through the bare forests. She slowed though. Suddenly realizing. She shook her head tryign to get a clear thought.
The howl was made by Fiory and Gryffin did not want to know why. May it be a good news to her howl or bad new Gryffin feared to know. But it was like she already knew. The how, how it spoke of desperation. Gryffin paused her paws ankered to the snowy terra. She sighed though, she could ignore it this one time, but she could not ignore the fact for the rest of her life. Holdign her breath the tri hued fae pushed herself onward, talons riping the snow in a frenzy as she reached the top of a knoll. Her emerald optics glared, squinting in the light as she saw. It was Fiory and Bila. Bila, was there lying upon the snow. Gryffin snarled and screamed, "No!" the wolf leaped, sliding down the hill half rolling as she ran onward nearly tripping, The wolf braked abruptly as she reached meters away from Fiory and the dark hued wolf, at rest. Gryffin looked to Fiory but turned away. First Shatocwnn and now Bila. Gryffin growled, "Who did this to her!" she snarled trying to hold back the tears.
Gryffin couldn't believe it. It was not right. It was all just a dream but Gryffin knew it was for from it. Gryffin coughed her ody frozen like that of Fiory. only the mourning wind made a sound, rippling the faes coats.Gryffin though pekred up, She did not notice that Lyft had entered. Gryffin let her tears stream down. And she padded to Lyft. With great effort, the tri coloured wolf burried her facade in Lyft's fluffy fur. Why were the gods doing? Were they tryign to break up List? Gryffin stepped back her emerald orbs meeting with Lyfts but Gryfin brought her gaze away unable to stare back. She eyed the snowy ground. It was spring. Such a happy filled time though now, it was cloaked by sadness.
But Gryffin was angry. Her emotions raw and mixed up. She howled with great force. "Tor! Fenris! why have you cursed our pack so? Have our pack become a sanctuary for your hate? Why? wy must you plague us with death? Can you not leave well enough alone. she did not have to die... she did not have to die." Gryffin said, her last words in a whisper. She felt her legs tremble as they gave way beneath her. There she lay hopeless and loss... once again.

*As the angry force of Gryffin's voice erupted, breaking the deadly silence around them, Lyft's auds perked forward and more sadness filled her icy hues. Allowing the youngster to do so, she nuzzled Gryffin back and licked her tenderly along her head and muzzle. It must be hard for her...first her mother and now her aunt. What madness had been brought to the pack? Would it not be suitable to called the old Dragga back? Or was he still busy in the Balkar lands? Whatever would happen, they were not to break apart, for then it would mean the end of List. Lyft whined as Gryffin cursed the Gods in their abode above and she flattened her ears once more, padding forward to the trembling varg who was torn and shredded by her own grief. Bending her neck down she licked Gryffin's auds and lay beside her cold form, lifting a long elegant leg she placed her paw on Gryffin's back and nuzzled into her cheek.
Do not curse the Gods. Though we feel anger towards them at times, it is their duty to take life away...yet they do give life also. Just look at Fiory's youngsters? Was that not a gift from the gods above? We cannot scold them for what they do...after all, they grieve too. What do you think rain and snow is?
She tried to smile and keep the youth calm...for she had felt the job of mother mass into her paws since Shato left to run free in Fenris's Forest...and now Bila had deprated to join her Drappa. Turning her head she looked up to Fiory with bright eyes. Though the time was sad and the mood dark...she had learnt one thing on her journey away from home. At least they were not alone. They still had one another, and though the loss of one shatters hopes and souls, they bond between the others is strong enough to keep them stronger than before. Her gaze then fell to the limp form of Bila who's life giving blood had stopped flowing and her wounds lay open and pink as no more would she feel pain and suffering, nor grief and guilt. She was at peace...and they should be rejoicing her passing, for though it was a sad time for them, it was a happy time for Bila..*

Gryffin shuddered as she lay in the frost, the slush of th melting snow. She sniffled her eyes half shut as she felt the sudden touch of Lyft's paw upon her back. Gryffin whined, ever so feelign like a pupy again. And though her puppy days were far past, she wished she could enjoy them once again, but she was growing out of it and fast.
She sighed as Lyft brought her muzzle to her cheek. And Gryffin felt her motherly touch. She looked up to Lyft, glad that she was still here. If she had lost Lyft too, Gryffin would not know what she would do. Her emerald brimmed orbs gazed upwards, into the heavens above. She took in Lyfts words. So wise, though so true. Gryffin gave a heavy sigh. And wondered what the gods were thinking right now.
Gryffin then looked over to Fiory. Her cubs were young still and needed as much nurturing as possible. Gryffin lifted her head. The spring was bringing in lera of all inds, back. She would hunt and List would be strong once more. The unbreakable bond rekindled once more. She lifted herself to a sit and smiled weakly to Lyft. "I think I understand now." Gryffin spoke in a rather hushed tone. Though she still felt furious with the gods she had to understand.
Gryffin gazed at Bila. Her eyes were shut tight though she was wounded, her facial expression was peaceful and calm. Gryffin smiled. She had died a warrior, died with pride with dignity. Forever would she live in the hearts of List as do Shatocwnn. But Gryffin felt a light breeze. As if Bila was there still.
Gryffin nuzzled Lyft back,"Your right Lyft, she is at peace, she upthere with mother, runign freely with wings of pride. There she will watch over us aswell." Gryffin spoke, yes they would watch over List, and from here on after it felt like List would never break apart. With Bristol,Shatocwnn and Bila watching over them. Nothing bad will ever happen to the little family.

[glow=violet,9,000]The young cub of the misty Delta tussled by herself in the clearing where the dens rose and fell welcomingly. Dark, small, round, and clumsy, she yipped and barked in the snow that she had always known, her cub blue eyes dancing and twinkling. She turned in circles, chasing her worm of a tail before she tripped over her big, puppy feet and fell into the hard white ground where she rolled, biting up at an invisible opponent. She jumped up, wiggling her hind quarters in the air, yipping madly before springing up and hitting the ground in a roll. Landing on four feet, her eyes widened. She had never been able to land after her wild dashes before, and now she had for the first time. Her tail wriggled madly as she raised her head in the air triumphantly. Turning to look at the den, taking in a deep breath of the cold, refreshing air, she began to wonder who she should tell of her triumph. Gryffin would surely be pleased to hear about Denisha’s doings and maybe join in her play with her. Tail and head high, she trotted proudly towards the entrance.
A howl ripped through the air, so cold and sad that Denisha spun, looking around fearfully through the trees, her hackles beginning to stand up. Noise behind her made her wheel with a frightened yip, and she plummeted to the earth, her ears pinned back pitifully, her eyes rolling into her head. The tri-colored Gryffin raced from the den with wings on her back, and the sight of her made Denisha feel safe. She lifted her head a bit and pricked her ears forward, but she remained in a submissive position. Then Gryffin was gone into day. Confused, alone, and frightened, the young cub sat in the snow silently, the darkness of the cave bearing down on her as the evergreens whispered evilly all around her. The older Varg had looked so hurried and worried that she had not even seen Denisha, and she was too afraid to follow. A sudden moan of the wind brought her to her feet, and without thinking she tore through the frightening trees with her tail between her legs, whimpering.
Vast, empty mountains greeted her, and in the distance she saw more spruces begin to make a forest. As she looked around her helplessly, feeling lost in her own home, she lay looked down at the melting snow. When it would have been too packed together to let any prints of any Lera be seen, now it was soft enough to show the long strides of Gryffin. Immediately Denisha perked up, and she put her nose to the ground. Wet greeted her, but the faint trace of List and the tri-colored femora greeted her also. Proudly, she looked up. She had accomplished another great feat this sun. She had already forgotten the piercing howl as she imagined the proud, grinning faces of the pack as she told him of her triumph. She could see her brother and sister glaring at her jealously from the sidelines, but she wouldn’t let them bring her to the ground as she usually did. Tail high, she began to trot down the sloping mountains, following the path laid before her.
Denisha had never been so tired, achy, and lost before. She didn’t know where she was since she was too young and weak to wander far beyond the dens. She was now starting to doubt that the paw prints were even Gryffins, and she was just following a dangerous, blood thirsty killer of a Kerl. She knew this wasn’t true, but as she walked through the forests of List she began to look fearfully at the shadows, and every crack made her cower in fear. Finally the trees lay behind her, and she fell tiredly to the ground. Panting heavily, she rested, glancing at her surroundings. Three grown wolf figures lay below, and one shouting voice was familiar. It was Gryffin; she had found them near the borders, even though she knew not that List did not own the world. With a yip she jumped up, feeling a new strength as she rushed down the hill, tripping and rolling sometimes before she could get up again. Panting happily, she trotted up to them proudly. Something was wrong though, and she shrunk back, now wishing she had stayed in the shadows of the den. Something familiar, something that wasn’t just fear, had settled in the air. She looked around and her heart stopped beating. A stretched and bloodied Varg, its throat torn out, was lying at the feet of her mother. She stayed, wide eyed at the dead thing. She had been following the trail of a killer Kerl, but List had killed it, as it deserved. But as she stared at it she couldn’t help bit feel the tingling of fear and change. [/glow]

[glow=purple,9,000]The ebony femora wept lightly, silence at her tears wake. Her sister was dead, and their pack was mourning. Her golden optics did not even notice the forms of Lyft or Gryffin, nor did she hear the words that spewed from the tri colored femmes maw. Her ears had turned deaf, and her eyes had gone black. She could not feel a thing, but the stinging bitter coldness that lay about her in abundance.
For a moment, everything was black, but soon, slowly, color melted into the new Drappa's world, and the forms of her packmates slowly became clear again. Her tears had stopped, and her mourning seased as she looked upon the two with her soft gold hues.
"We must be strong now...Bila will never truly leave us, though her body is dead, her spirit will guide us all in the coming seasons. I am sure of it." It had been the first time in a long while that Fiory had spoken even a word. Her heart felt crushed, first it was her dearest love, and now it was her only kin. Her words were cut short by a crunch in the snow behind her. Swift as the shadows in a coming dusk night the femora turned round to see the frightened face of her youngest daughter, Denisha. Frozen in fear was she at looking upon her aunts dead body and slowly the mother knelt by her child in comforting.
"Denisha, my smallest and brightest star..." the storyteller began softly, rubbing her muzzle against the cub's body as if trying to give her a gentle hug. How was one to say that a family member was dead? And esspecially to a child?
"My smallest star...Your...Your aunty Bila...she..."her words were slow and stuttered as her brain fought to find the most appropriate course of action. "She began sleeping today, and it is a sleep that she will not wake from...I am so sorry my darling...that your aunty Bila is gone from us....I am so sorry." Her words spilled out as she tried to stay strong in front of her daughter, a smile trying to curl it's way on her maw but vainily failed. Her sparkling gold eyes looked toward the snow, and her tanned gold auditories gently fell.....It was hard enough having to take her sister's body back to List on her own, but now telling her youngest little girl, about death at such a young age was heart wrenching.... Gryffin breathed in deeply. The spring air soothing her lungs yet stinging her nares. She shook her muzzle as if trying to shake reality away, trying to clear things up. Ruby tinged auds twitched, swivelling they caught the distan sound of fast paws. Well to her it was distant.
Gryffin looked up, her emerald orbs falling on a she pup. Denisha. GRyffin smiled gently. She was greatly excited to see Denisha, but still she felt sadness rack at her sides. What hurt Gryffin more was the face on DEnisha. How Gryffin could tell the happiness that engulfed her but how her expression changed when she joined the trio of mourning wolves.
Gryffin dipped her head as she looked to the resting drappa. What could Denisha be thinking about all this? And would she understand? Gryffin remembered how she was in denial. How she could not believe that her mother had left her. Gryffin closed her eeys. letting the wind rustle her fur, for once feeling just a bit relaxed as she heard the tender words of Fiory sing out. Gryffin listened to them. Such wise words. The tri coloured femmora couldn't help but smile. She opened her eyes looking over at Denisha. "Auntie Fiory is right, Bila has taken the great wolf trail. and now she is living with Fenris and Tor themself. But I'm sure.... she promises to visit." Gryffin paused but decided to continue. "So Denisha Bila is always goign to be here. When feel the soft spring breeze it is her iving you praise. She could be that fluffy cloud, looking down at us. She's in the grass you'll walk upon." Gryffin paused once more and looked over to Fiory. Smiling she stepped back letting Fiory have her talk with Denisha once more.
Calmness fell over Gryffin, though she could not remove the pain and the sadness, but at least she could try to be positive. For Denisha she could and will be.

[glow=purple,9,000]Tanned gold auditories flicked a moment and the cranium of Fiory turned. Her golden hues watched as Gryffin stepped foreward. Oh poor Gryffin. To have lost her mother, and now to have lost an aunt that was so close as to say a second mother. It was a tradgic loss for the tri colored femora, and yet here she stood, consolling her youngest cousin, Fiory's youngest starling. Such wise and gentle words flowed from Gryffin's maw that Fiory lay there speechless in their wake. The young sikla was correct, in every syllable of her words. Her mother, would be truly proud.
"Yes, Gryffin is right, my tiny starling." Fiory whispered gently to Denisha's small form. "Bila will always be with us, in the clouds above and in the grass below. She will be in the rain when you cry, and in the Fenris's rays when you smile. Your dear Aunt Bila shall be in the tree's branches when you play hide and seek and she will be the only one who knows where you are. She..." with all these happy thoughts flowing from the agile maw of the mother, she stopped abruptly. Her cubs did not know of Bristol's death, for she had not told them. She could not find the words to tell them acuratly. Now, she had finally found a way to tell them, and her smallest comet's tail would be first to know.
"She...and your daddy, will be in the stars when you hear tales at night, and when you look up at them unknowing exactly where they are, they will smile back, their stars twinkling back and catching in your eyes and in your smile. And maybe, if your good...Daddy will send a star across the sky for you to wish upon, or to just excite your imagination." She said slowly, a smile spreading across her maw and a wink was given to her smallest of daughters, her golden optics glinting gently at Denisha. For a moment, the sparkles in her hues seemed to dance, and one even shot across to it's counter part when Fiory moved her head to stand again. Her golden ears were pressed foreward proudly at her little girl, and her smiling face, her cheeks stained with salty dried tears turned to face Gryffin.
"Thank you, for your kind and wise words Gryffin." was all the mother said, but every word she meant and every word had meaning. Her ebony tail gave a gentle flick behind her and a sigh escaped her nostrils. The guilt, was finally lifting.[/glow]

[glow=blue,9,000]It was just like the young black cub to be late. For the moment the burly male was just waking up. Dawn's sunrise was already peaked, and for the first time in his life, he realized that he wasn't being watched. The mischevious little male looked silently over at the sleeping Sudak, before back at his dozing sister Shatila. Wait a sec, only one? Where was Denisha?
"Mum's going to kill me if I don't find her.." Orion grumbled bitterly, looking around for his little sister. Ebony nose plummetted into the defrosting ice and snow a sting of the past winter grasping his nostrils. Well, at least he could smell her, but who couldn't honestly? Auds flopped foreward, he began his plodding walk, following his sister's clumbsy trail. Even when stumbling strongly through the thick forests of List, he didn't hesitate on where he was going. Sure, he hadn't been hardly anywhere but the den site, but he wasn't scared. For all he knew, he was alone, and the pack was just in front of him, another step in front of him.
Finally, he crested the border of List's territories, his hazy blue puppy eyes gazing down upon the forms of his Aunt Lyft, his cousin Gryffin, his mother Fiory and his little sister Denisha.
"Great, now I'm gonna get it." Orion grumbled to himself again, as he began his decent, slipping and sliding every so often in consequence. His nose lifted into the air, and his muzzle wrinkled in disgust. It smelled of death and decay here, why was his family here? Then he saw it. The wrecked and blood stained, tangle body of Bila. His paws sunk in the little snow upon the ground as he froze on the spot, a food or so away from his mother, lieing beside Denisha. His eyes didn't leave his Aunt Bila's form, but his ears were listening to Gryffin and to Fiory. A whimper escaped his little maw and his proud head and tassle lowered in respect as he crouched closer to his mother.
"I'm going to miss her mum" Orion whispered, sitting beside Denisha, his tail tucked between his legs. What his mother said must have been true, since Gryffin backed it up. But, that didn't deny the young male from missing his dear Aunty Bila... [/glow]

Sudak finally awoke from his long nights sleep to notice that Gryffin was gone... and so was Denisha... AND ORION. The only on left was Shatila. Sudak rose onto his stilts suddenly and felt his head get dizzy for a minute. He then trotted over to Shatilla and nuzzled her to rise her to her feet.
Come on Shatila. We must go find the others.
He motioned for the little cub to follow and he began a slow trot out the front of the den. He put his nose to the ground and began a desperate search for Gryff, Denisha, Orion, anybody. He was a little surpised to find all of them in one place leading the same direction. He snapped his head over his shoulder to make sure Shatilla was following if not he would have to carry the little cub. He kept a watchful eye on her as he made his way through the now farmiliar territory, following his nose the entire way. He crested a hilltop to find all of the vargs he had been searching for and then some, standing around something. It seemed to him to be a corps of some kind. He thought to himself, finally List had made a big kill, they could finally eat something. As he ran towards the pack he slid to a stop noticing nobody was feasting, they were morning. He took his gaze from the vargs of List to the corps. He stared in horror, this couldn't be happening. Another one of his new family members, dead? There was so much death in Sudak's life. He couldn't stand any more of it.
Why he howled. We just made peace and now she's gone. First Shato and now Bila. Why?
Sudak now collapsed on the ground and burried his face under his paws. He couldn't stand this anymore. No more death. First his family in the arctic and now his new family here. There was so much death he didn't no what to do. Who would be next. Would it be him, Gryffin, one of the cubs or even Fiory or Lift. It could be any of them. What had caused this? These thoughts raced through his mind and it hurt his head. He had to clear his thoughts. He let out a roaring howl. The flying lera in the surrounding trees took to the sky when he let it out. His howl soon subsided and he padded over to Fiory, Lyft and Gryffin a tear still in his eye.
What has happened?

[glow=violet,9,000]Fiory darted to comfort Denisha so swiftly the cub only saw a mass of black coming towards her. She jumped, but she knew who it was, and she found herself burying her face deep into that of the scent of her mother, the warm fur a blanket to her face. She didn’t want to look at the dead wolf; all she wanted to do was lose herself in Fiory’s rich comfort. She stepped closer, rubbing against her mother as she realized she was shaking. The soft voice of the Delta floated through her auds like a soft breath, and she found herself entranced as always when her mothers talked so sweetly and gentle, caressing her with words alone. Only her mother and Aunt Bila could weave a story, but privately the young cub liked her mother’s better because she told it with such love, passion, and gentleness. Aunt told it with a fiery passion that made her one eye burn. Also, Mother’s voice was much nicer.
Denisha stilled her breathing as she forced herself to grasp the words coming from the black maw above her head. The scent of fear and sadness came from her Mother in a strong odor, digging deep into Denisha’s sensitive black nose. The fur along her back began to prickle as she wondered what could have disturbed the always kind Mother of hers. “Sleep,” she growled, confusion taking the place of fear. “What do you mean Mother? And who-” but she was cut off as her Mother looked to the snow sadly. Why was she being so confusing, and why was Bila being asleep so bad, and who was this Varg?!
Denisha turned to listen to Gryffin, but she stayed pressed to her Mother’s side, wishing to comfort her in some way. The Delta’s sadness was affecting her, and she wished her Mother would be happy again, and they could leave the Varg to its grave. She stole a glance at it, with its throat torn away and one eye closed shut. A leg was turned in so far she knew something was wrong with it besides the blood that stained it and the white that poked out from the torn skin. The other paw was bloodied, too, and it had scratches along its body. Had Mother killed it, she suddenly wondered in fright. Her Mother had teeth and claws, she could kill a wolf. She could not imagine her gentle watcher ever doing something like that, and she concentrated on Gryffin again.
Denisha’s head was buzzing, and she couldn’t catch any of the wild thoughts running around it. Bila sleeping with Tor and Fenris, what did that mean? The Wolf Trail; where was this coming from. Suddenly she remembered all the stories she had heard. Vargs walked the Wolf Trail to go and join Tor and Fenris. She saw a fleeting image of Bila, tall, shaggy, and white with a back of gray splotched in brown. Her one eye flashed in the beginnings of a mischievous grin. That bloodied thing before her was Bila, she knew it now. Shakily she sat down, and her quaking voice broke out silently as Orion sat down beside her. “That’s Aunt isn’t it?”<br>[/glow]

*Everything seemed to happen at once, but Lyft was very greatful for her words had made some impact on Gryffin's mind. She sighed and past another glance towards Bila's sleeping form...sadness filling her eyes as she looked then up to Fiory's shaking form. She has lost a sister...Lyft knew the horrid, gut wrenching feeling of such an evil deed. But often Tor and Fenris would do these things for a reason...yet no reason Lyft could think of would come to be the answer for Arnia's death - an innocent cub...a life still to live...slaughtered on the plains by the hunted. Lyft couldn't hold her emotions back any longer and she swung her head back round and began to shake with fury and woe, her icy hues were lidded as the ice that kept them solid and hard began to leak and spill from the slits where her pin pointed pupils stared through. Her vision turned blurry as the tears obscured her clear vision and she wept...wept with sorrow for the loss...the loss of her sister...her Drappa...and now a friend who she never had the chance to say sorry to. How much pain and guilt could she put on herself?
The arrival of Fiory's two cubs...her neice and nephew...went unoticed by the weeping varg. She was far too consumed within her own mind to even hear the desperate call to the Gods from Sudak - her mind had consumed her and wasn't letting her go. Laying within the soggy earth her feathery white pelt began to soak and turn a putrid brown. But Lyft never even noticed...too much had happened to List since she arrived...and for a time it was beginning to manipulate her mind into thinking she was some sort of jinx - but it was only fate that drove it's fury dagger into their skins and hearts.
Time passed and the group gathered together, Lyft on the outskirts of them. But no, she msut be strong. Three cubs needed to be looked after...Gryffin and Sudak who Lyft loved dearly as though they were of her own bloodline - and to some extent they had grown to be that. Frowning deeply and shaking away the tears and clung to her muzzle she got to her long, stilt like legs and padded round towards the group, looking down at the starling youths, their small forms quivering with fear and confusion. Her saddened eyes turned into warm smiles as she gazed at them both, remember the fear that she had felt that cold night...it was what they felt now. Nothing could make them feel better, nothing - however the warm pelt of a mother would help sooth them and keep them calm. All Lyft had had was the stiff form of her sleeping mother and the sight of her dead pack. These cubs had a family and a mother...they would be fine, their lives were not complete yet, and with the aid of List, their lives would grow to their full extent...Bila would help them.*

Gryffin smiled weakl but then she heard a small yet strong voice. Gryffin turned to see the mann pup Orion. Gryffin lowered her eyes. These pups were so young how was it possible that the gods even permitted them to get their first experience of death? Gryfin growled silently to herself.
But she would keep her chin up, she couldn't fall to pieces, or should Gryffin say that she shouldn't show her already broken heart. Gryffin saw how Denisha glanced over at the lump of fur. Bloodied and torn, how the wolf used to be the magnificent drappa. Gryffin held back her tears. The breeze sweeping through her, though it was warm it felt cold.
Auds flickered when yet more sets of paws were heard. Gryff lifted her head up, eyes directed to where they were heard. She saw Sudak racing towards them utter shock and disbalief. Gryffin whined when she saw him come near. Devastation flamed her she could not ever look at the varg that laid there anymore. To her it was not Bila. Bila was gone now, that there is just a wolf. No name. Not Bila never Bila. Gryffin thought her ears slightly bent back. The howl of Sudak hit her as she felt the emotion singing through the notes. Holdign her breath the tri hued wolf closed hereyes, lettign the howl swallow her up. She finally let go of the grasp on her breath and sighed when Sudak ended his bellow. She looked to him as he padded her way. Gryffin padded towards him her head lowering. Whining she licked him on the muzzle but could not find her voice to speak. Instead she just stood close to Sudak her head bent down, eyes staring absent mindedly at her front paws.
