Everything seemed dark within his own little world - he could never quite tell whether it was day, noon or night. Growling deeply to himself Sarlic looked up into the heavens, his tattered muzzle wrinkling as if to snarl but then relaxing to leave it scarred and tattered as before - it spasmed uncontrollably as he observed the light which shone down apon his unkept and shaggy pelt. There was little light due to the overcasting sky - yet somehow he managed to figure out that it were still noon and Fenris had noe quite settled into sleep for Tor to appear in the abyss above.
On he plodded, ever moving pads seemed to crack and bleed as the chill of freshly fallen snow gripped to them like ice. He didn't care, in fact, the mad kerl never even seemed to notice the pain, for his mind was too busy fighting itself. ...stupid fea...crazy...ha...oh i...death...kill!! He snarled and yelped, pushing forward and going into a quite run before looking around him frantically as he slowed to an unusual halt.
The air seemed tense and the birds songs of an on-coming spring had dimmed to nearly silence. Only the odd cawing and cackles of crows and ravens surrounded him and an almost devilish grin spread across his maw as his yellow ochre eyes dazzled with maddness. Yipping loudly he bounced and ran forward into the Balkar's territory. He had heard of these vargs before and always wondered if there were lost souls like himself who were to be crazed and bleeding from the heart - torn and shattered through faults of not only their own, but of fate.

A new one had crossed into the Lands of the Balkar, Scar heard him coming from a distance, the cold harsh snow under foot cracking as he went along gave him away, Bounding through the snow and sticking to the shadows Scar observed the wolf for a small while, he seemed puzzled by something, but at this moment it wasnt Scars biggest concern, his concern was why he was here. WIthout emerging from the Shadows Scars voice came out instead
[glow=black,2,000] Why are you here young one, you know this is the Balkar, we are waiting for your explanation of your arrival, and it better be a good one, we arent tolerant of visitors here[/glow]

((Dude, just so you know, Sarlic is 3 years of age - he ain't exactly young! Lol, compaired to most with the Sikla rank))
The crazed male continued to run as he heard the voice of Scar, thinking it was all just inside his head - he had guessed a Balkar would walk from the shadows that shrouded him and speak those words. Yet about a few seconds after the Night Hunter's speech Sarlic skidded to a halt and started to growl deeply, the automatic sense of a threat washing over his scabby frame and his hackles began to stand on end, threatening the oponent with his size and stance - however unkempt his appearance was.
Sarlic's pupils began to shrink and the wild, crazed look that he bore with them began to flicker as he looked around, muzzle twitching constantly as he mumbled and muttered words that no other could make out, or make sense of the ones he did let slip slightly louder than the rest. His auds flexed back and pinned to his scalp as he searched the shadows frantically for a figure to emerge from them - but no...it was just a voice. Could it have been his imagination? If so..then he had no need to worry, for it often played tricks on him like this. But still his sixth sense, the sense that every lera bore through trait, told him otherwise...yet often this was pushed to the side and ignored.
He was about to take another step forward and continue his route forward through the Balakr's territory in search of the Dragga, or the wolf they named the First when his paws stuck and his head swund round to the spot where the voice had been emitted from. He could not see Scar, yet his mad eyes stared right through the varg's bodice. It had jsut reached his sane sanity where the sound had came from and he lowered his head so that it was in line with his protruding shoulders and back.
With a deep growl his ears pinned back once more and his spasmed lips began to open to form words that rolled off his tongue in little matter, making little sense and the tone rising and falling with his ever blinking eyes. "I come to seek...First...teach...fight...kill!!" He barked the last word and his whole body shuddered with it, tail now wagging furiously and his stocky legs shaking violently.

OOC: a Sikla's a sikla no matter the age Podre, to me your fodder, play nice Scar followed Sarlic as he carried on running from the Scars voice, emmiting from the shadows. Scar had no idea that this Kerl insane, and that the Scars own voice was interpreted as one of thr "voices" in this Kerls head. Bounding along in the shadows beside him, when he stopped running, so did Scar. Sarlics next words, were a shocking and humerous revelation to Scar as to why he was here.[glow=black,2,300] You come to learn from the first and then kill him, you are foolish to come here Kerl, for i am a Balkar, i could tear your throat from your body before you realised. I should let the mighty first deal with you, but since he isnt here i shall remove your carcass for him. You are already dead little one[/glow]Scar wandered out from the shadows, his heckles raised, his one optic locking onto the eyes of Sarlic, his body was clearly aimed for the kill, as this rough unkempt Balkar stalked out of the shadows.
Sarlic's word had somewhat been misunderstood by scar, this simple misunderstanding would soon get Sarlic killed, if he didnt change them soon. For one to seemingly come to kill the first, and one of such low rank was laughable, and almost applaudable in some respects, however, Balkar didnt respect fools.

[glow=red,2,300]*Scar had not known it, but the First had been stalking his trail for the past hour or so - as he had heard already about what he's done in List - and the First did not trust the male as he had once before. Knowing that if Scar would dare enter List again without his permission - Leoh would take action and either punish the ebon male so badly he could not walk for months or ban him from the Balkar lands - he would not have his ally pack nor his offspring and family in danger from his own pack members. As Scar got onto the trail of the crazed wolf, Leoh was quick to persue in silence and deeper within the shadows than even Scar could realise - for being small was a great advantage in the art of stalking. Sarlic spoke with little meaning to his words, but still they made up a sentance with some sense - "..seek first...teach...fight..kill..." - Leoh frowned as he began to wonder what this varg meant. He was seeking himself, to be taught to fight and kill? Obviously Scar got another message, and before any harm could be done - Leohlic did not want a possible new member killed - Leoh dashed out from the brush and growled deeply to both Scar and Sarlic, his hackles raised in warning as he glared deeply into the male's yellow ochre gaze. "You wish to meet the First huh? Well here I am. What do you seek strange varg?" His legs began to stiffen as he looked up to the larger and slightly younger male. He seemed young, but nearing his middle age - 3 or 4 maybe. Leoh was now reaching his 6th year and he had reached his prime, but for his size it was already beginning to show. As every varg knew the smaller ones lived a shorter life..*[/glow]

As the excuse for a Balkar made his way from the shadows and into the open, speaking with his own cruel tongue, Sarlic could barely understand his words - for he was too focussed on the object that was creeping out from behind the black Night Hunter. His crazed eyes stared past Scar and his auds flexed forward as his muttering and mumbling came to a quiet stop. Just then he snapped back to Scar as his last words began to register. He was already dead? What an idiotic thing to declare to a wolf who is obviously alive and breathing.
Sarlic didn't understand what he meant and his lips parted into a manic grin as he began to growl with excitment. Could this lead to a fight and bloodshed? Cause if so, then Sarlic would be within his element. When it came to fighting, not many would wish to fight a mad wolf...espially one who had had a bad record of fighitng and killings in the past without even being a member the Balkar.
He began to tremble with excitment and jerked his head back along with his body, jerking forward straight after, tassel wagging furiously. Yet just as he was about to bound forward the First shot out from the brush and stood before him. Sarlic was caught off guard and with a shudderd bark he leapt back and held his body high but his head low and in line with his spine.
Yellow ochre eyes danced with madness as he obseved the First before him. He was short...very short...and very vivious in appearance. Sarlic growled and began to mutter to himself in delight of finding the one he seeked. "To fight...balkar...home...kill!!" he snarled and yipped, throwing back his head inm pure manic delight as he shouted the last word, extatic over the whole situation...completely unaware of the danger that surrounded him.

OOC: Im not complaining, well maybe a little, but...if you even think you stand a chance against Scar forget it, Sikla's are seen as stress relief for any wolf, a Balkar would stomp on your behind. It is a rule, dont say i didnt warn you.
Scar looked at the disrespectful Kerl, no matter how mad he may be, which Scar widly acknowledged as a fact, he should still show respect for the Balkar, for they could tear the life blood from his body whether he liked it or not, that was the Balkar way.
Madness was in everyone at someplace or other, Scar indeed had madness within him, although subdued, it would never be enough to outdo this Kerl's madness.
Leoh came to the Aid of the Kerl, standing in the middle, a sign to Scar that there was to be no bloodshed, Scar nodded to the first and left them to do whatever was to do, Scar had an idea, The End was near for him...so near he could smell it, feel it

[glow=red,2,300]*Leoh watched as Scar left the scene, unaware that it was the last time he would see the varg with the life blood running through him giving him the power to walk and breathe...so of course, Leoh jsut watched him leave without a care, carrying on with the business of attending to this new varg on the scene. He growled deeply at Sarlic, slightly tense about what this varg would do with such madness enveloping his mind. Yet he woudl soon sort him out if the male tried anything on him. A slight grin spread across Leoh's muzzle as he was beginning to see the pure, manic delight that joining the Balkar would give this lost soul. he too was like this at one point in his life...yet in a different state of insanity, and still he was going through the pain of it all now that Shato had left him for Fenris's Forest where eternal peace and rest found her troubled soul. Nodding to Sarlic he stood stock still with stiffened legs and a malicious glare, but on some level he was accepting to the varg. Of course if he was to let the male enter his pack he would have to be kept under strict supervision, and he still needed to learn his name "Tell me varg. If you so badly wish to join my ranks, then what is your name?" *[/glow]

As the ebon male left the scene Sarlic cocked his head and looked past the First, wandering where Scar was away to. Slightly disapointed by not being able to have some fun and play with the Balkar he frowned and began to grumble some unheard words to himself, looking off into the distance, completely unaware now of the First's pressence or his fiory eyes. He had gotten lost again...lost in his own world of silence and torment.
Off his yellow ochre eyes trailed, off towards the mountain range which loomed up high and surrounded the Balkar territory to the East. He squinted as the clouds began to pass over and the great sun Fenris's gaze was blocked. the glistening white was dulled by shadows. But there seemed to be something else stirring over head. He peered further out across the forest until he saw several tiny unidetifiable shapes skirting across the still frozen terrain. Where they wolves? It seemed like a pack...but what pack would live so close to the Balkar? One had heard nothing of at least.
Just then the First's deep, gruff voice brought him back with a start and he blinked, jolting back in fright, staring wide eyed at the First who stood before him. He spoke with words that Leoh understood...and then a question. A name? Did he have one? Was he so lucky as to have been dubbed by a mother and father? He thought not...but if he was to ever get into the Balkar he would have to speak up...yet this was difficult for him.
With a maliciously excited grin he barked and tried to speak words of sense..but as normal, they came out few, far between and made little sense at all. "Name...no...what...wish...balkar...ki-...ki-...", he stuttered and choked on his last word, making him snarl and bark at the same time in confusion. Were his hopes shattered now all for the lost name which he could not find within his memory?

[glow=red,2,300]*A wide grimace spread across Leoh's muzzle as the crazed wolf tried to speak his name, or at least describe something about his name. He had expected as much and was certainly desperate for recruits to join the Balkar's ranks...however this wolf would be hard to communicate with. Yet so long as the male could understand Leoh's orders and so long as he would respect him...then Leoh saw no harm in letting the male join. With a nod of his head he growled and stepped forward, his ember orbs blazing with order. "Right wolf. I may not know your name, or fully understand what you try and tell me...but i shall allow you to join my ranks. However you shall be the newest recruit and therefore you must allow harm to come to you if you step out of line. If you disturb a fellow Balkar or you break a rule...then you will be punished and you msut accept the punishment without fighting back. Is this clear?" He didn't bother waiting for an answer and just pressed on with the matter. He stepped to the side and two large males appeared from the undergrowth behind him. The vargs were nearly identicale if not for their size differences and the fact that they were not related at all - yet brothers most would often see them as. Zinc and Zyro pressed forward and stood next to the First, their liquid green orbs gazed with a taste for blood towards Sarlic. Fren would often be the male Leoh would call to help with the members...however the aged Balkar was getting older now and he was more suitable for the younger recruits - two large vargs he trusted well would be very helpful with this new varg. "Wolf, this is Zinc and Zyro. You shall be led round the Balkar territory with them and taught about our lands and ways. If you dare attack them or sneak off, then you shall pay a hefty price..." He glared and frowned at Sarlic before looking up at the larger ebon males and nodding to them curtly, they knew what to do. And with that he turned and began a gentle lope away from the gathering back into the forest's shadows to continue with his scouting.*[/glow]
