[glow=black,2,300]With gray clouds rolling in heavily and frost clinging to anything and everything, it was a wonder that any wolf would travel so far from their boundries, let alone a she wolf. With an ebony pelt glistening with small frostballs, and a pair of gleaming green optics, the beast paced through the wilderness and to the beginning of the Balkar's boundries. Weary at first, she remembered the death of her beloved father Kanis; yet, Tamra was at fault, not her now life-long enermy Leohlic. Sneering to herself, she sat by the borders and slowly flicked her jet tassle lightly as though in deep thought. A scent had filtered through her sensitive nostrils long before her arrival, and so to make matters slightly worse; she had ventured to the Balkar lands, not for a fight, but for a bargain. Smiling, she shifted slightly, the sound of footsteps clear in the silence of the winter's bite. Staring with a slight tinge of boredom at the ground, she then felt the urge to look up. And as she did so, a form came into view, and a farcade was hastily matched in her mind. With a deep breath, and a slow movement to stand on her paws, she smiled lightly and parted her lips. "Hello Leoh," she breezed quietly, thoughts passing deeply in her mind, "Long time, no see...."[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]*It was nothing but a morning scouting of the territory's borders when the forbidden scent of Demon reached Leoh's flaring nasal and a devilish snarl passed swiftly across his white rimmed maw. He had not seen the wench for a time now and he was pleased to hold onto the thought of her death - but this scent was fresh and so too was her low grumbling voice. As he passed through the brush he came into her view and his fiery ember orbs danced wildly as the flames within held a deadly, merciless glare. He growled deeply and padded towards her much larger, ebon bodice; his hackles, ears and tail were erect as his legs began to stiffen with the hatred that burned deep inside him. "Demon...what has brought you into my lands? Speak now and give me your message before i chase you out or kill you, this is not your place to stand freely without asking for Tratto's Blessing - you can do me no harm within my own borders fae.." His vocals quivered and his vioce deep. If he knew Demon, and he knew her well, she would not anger at his words but jsut sneer and reply with something cocky and hurtful. But that was only what leoh did to strangers, this was personal and he did not feel like keeping a nice relationship with the bitch.*[/glow]

[glow=black,2,300] Demon held a smile on her lips, never flickering as words of harsh nature seemed to pass through her auds. Tipping down her muzzle slightly, she slowly parted her ebony lips and spoke. "Leohlic," she paused, looking around the grounds carefully, "I do not wish to harm you in any way. I just wish to ask you two simple questions, and to bargain with you.." Smiling lightly, she sat hastily on her haunches; her tassle brushing across the earth behind her. "You may scorn me, hate me, despise me," she continued, "but that doesnt mean I feel the same way," Blinking briefly, she washed away the smile and replaced it with an angellic, and innocent glance, "So," she paused, her voice slightly raspy with the winter's bite around her, "Are you willing to speak to me wolf-to-wolf... or am I still going to be treated as though I am equal to a flying scavenger?"[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]*Leoh growled deeply as the ebony faemme spoke with her own poionous voice - she came to bargain? What could she say that the male would even agree with? He began to find this situation slightlt amusing and soon he stopped and settled back on his haunches, snarl fading only slightly from his maw as he frowned, fiery orbs glaring ever harder into her cold soul. "Well Duchess of Darkness, what is it you wish to ask? I shall listen, then decide on what fate these questions and that bargain may have. But do not wish to hope." His auds were pressed forward ready to listen and his frown hardened while his muzzle relaxed a little more. She had told him she did not wish to hurt him, but if this was false, then he was sure to be swift of her attack..*[/glow]

[glow=black,2,300] Smiling, she could sense the tension in the air. The untrusting atmosphere was sieving up her sensitive nostrils slowly, giving her a light-headed spell for a moment or two. "So, seeing as you dislike me being on your..." pausing, she glanced round, sneering, "...lands... I will make it as quick as possible..." Standing again, her ebony tassle swiped the earth lightly, "Leohlic, Dragga of the Balkar, I ask for you to bargain with the Duchess of Darkness as you put it..." Hesitating, a smile paused on her maw, "Is it the truth that your Balkar are in very few numbers now since Tamra's departure?" Optics flickered over his farcade, studying carefully. She seemed to know that he was expecting attack, yet that would never come. She had a family now, and despite the fact that his hatred came with a passion, she would not bend to his will and fight. "If so, please say, for my idea could appeal to you greatly..." [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]((Sorry for the absence, busy week -__-))
*Leoh's hackles raised and his eye lid flickered slightly in annoyance and anger as the faemme spoke of Tamra's name so lightly, and memories flooded back to him of a time gone past. He growled deeply and his frown deepened. If she carried on such cheak...then she would be driven from his pack lands no matter what she wished to bargain with him! He wasn't standing for her crap anymore. "Stop your stalling Demon and just give me what information you carry unless i'll have no choice but to drive you from my lands!" His lips twitched and were pulled for as he snarled maliciously, licking his maw then letting them settle once more. She was trying his patience.*[/glow]

[glow=black,2,300] A grin rose on her black maw, a single glitter of her canines peeking from the side. Optics of poison green twinkled maliciously, as her claws sunk into the earth as she shifted slightly. "Oh Leoh, Leoh, Leoh..." sighed the she wolf finally, "so much anger for me..." Hesitating, she slowly caught his gaze, but not in the mood to fight, she trailed away in the end. "But, seeing as you don't want me to stay for a chat, catch up on gossip and such, I'll state what I offer..." Flickering her tassle thoughtfully, she sighed again, eyes thinning slightly. "Rumours say that the Balkar are loosing numbers by the sun," breezed Demon lightly, not amused by this fact no more, "And seeing as I have a son who is somewhat not fitting in with Koran... I was rather curious whether you needed an extra member!" Smirking, she watched quietly, only opening her mouth again after a long drag of silence, "What do you say?" she asked, "Loose more members, or gain one; who is nothing[/i] like me, and willing to do more than any wolf to be top as such... well? yes... or no?" [glow=red,2,300]*Leoh was about to get up and lunge at her heels to drive the fae away as she continued speaking of his pack in such a poisonous tongue, he was basically fed up with her. But as she brought up the topic of her son he stayed where he was and his lids lifted in shock more than anything. Demon had a son? She was a mother? Who would have sired the children of this devil faemme? He felt sorry for the poor soul who had to put up with her and no doubt her demonic children. But as one member of the Balkar had recently died and another left for bigger things in his life...Leoh was begnning to grow desperate with the need for more members...but he was very hesitant, so instead he pushed her further for information. "Nothing like you? Who was the sorry sod who had to sire such cubs and link tails with such a demonic mother? I truly feel sorry for him. But back to business. Does this son of yours wish to join my ranks? And if so...is he willing to deal with me? For even though you claim he is nothing like you, i will not take him on so lightly. He still has your blood flowing through his veins...and what a price that msut be for him." He growled deeply and glared hard into Demon's eyes, yet she didn't look into his - which pleased him for at least she had grown to take on manners in her life.*[/glow]

[glow=black,2,300] Demon smiled lightly, not showing how the words got to her. Stepping forward slightly, a crunch could be heard. She had stepped on a frosted-over dead weed. Rolling her eyes, she looked up at Leohlic, and pursed her maw together. "Leohlic..." she rasped, a plume of frozen breath passing out her mouth. "My son is strong. A good fighter of such a young age..." Pausing, she let a picture of him pass through her mind, "..He'd love the Balkar order with a passion, and even if you are rough with him..." she hesistated again, and sneered slightly, "...He'd still keep his paws in line and I'm sure that he'd impress you with his skills...." Smiling with content, she sighed heavily. "So," she continued, tipping her head to the side, her auds perking up; just like a puppy would do to its master. "What's it going to be?..." [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]*Leohlic listened to what she had to say, his auds perked forward while his ember gaze stared ahead into her own poisonous glare. After a long pause his tail flickered and curled round his muddied paws as a wry grimace spread across his white rimmed maw. It was true his pack was diminishing my the sun and soon he would have no recruits left if he did not act quickly...however to let his enemy's son join...what would he be thinking? However...it could be to some acoustical advantage. He would order the Balkar to be short and snap at the varg...this would drive him into madness...or possibly it could make him leave...whatever way it would benefit Leoh. A mad and angry varg would be a deadly opponent in battle, and even if he left, Leoh would be free from the runt. With a nod of his head he growled his reply in a deep, gruff voice. "I shall let your son join my ranks...but let him be warned that his stay here will not be the most pleasant of experiences. Let's just hope he can handle it.." His grin spread wider and then he recalled that Demon had more to say from her speech before. Flicking an ear back he craned his neck forward. two simple questions and to bargain? Well the bragain and possibly the question had been passed...what was the rest? "What else do you wish to pass through in conversation before i drive you off my lands?" His brow furrowed a deep frown as he licked his maw, beginning to get bored of this conversation - however it may take an unexpected twist. Some part of Leoh wanted that...yet another part just wanted to sink his canines into her ebon fur and let her black blood flow.*[/glow]

[glow=black,2,300] Rolling her eyes towards the sky, the shimmering dark figurine let a small smile steal over her maw. Optics flickered from direction, as she let the words wash through her skull. Looking up as Leohlic gave his final verdict on their little bargain, she smiled sweetly. "That's wonderful... and yes," she paused, rising onto her paws, "he'll be able to cope..." Flicking her tail slowly, she listened to the following words that Leohlic seemed to drip out at her; as though each word was signalling that he'd much rather be dead than be seen having a conversation with her. Knowing this was probably the truth, Demon did not question her thoughts, yet continued to think about her next move in her little game. "Oh, yeah..." she growled finally, remembering the moves she had plotted out earlier, "I wanted to let you know that...." Pausing, she bit her lip cautiously. Should she tell him? Should she not? Her mind raced for a breif moment, the sound of her pounding heart straining her auds heavily. Looking at the ground, she shook her head. The words she would speak, she knew, would mean nothing to the Balkar Dragga. Turning her head towards the borders, she gave a low sigh. Soon she would have to walk back to Koran, and feel the pressure of questions from her family. Growling quietly, she shook her pelt down, and looked back up; a new strength shining in her eyes. "If you want me to go now, I will... after all," she hesitated, her tone slightly tinged with a broken feeling, yet this was hidden by the fake courage and sarcastic drips on her words. "...I know you cannot stand me being in the same valley as you, let alone the same packlands... And its not like you'd want to hear anymore of what I have to say...am i right?" [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]*A deep growl emitted Leoh's shut muzzle, his vocals quivering in his throat as he took a step forward, standing onto his short stilts. A deep frown furrowed into his forehead and he glared at Demon with curiosity. If he hated nothing more than Demon in his territory...it was Demon in his territory about to say something then back out of it like a coward. What could she possibly have to say that would need her to shy from it like she had just done? "Demon, however much i hate you being here - i wish to know what you have to tell me. And if you don't, you will only aggrivate me more." He knew this is what she wanted...but if she never told him it would make him so furious thinking about it that he might jsut have to hunt her down and beat it out of her!*[/glow]

[glow=black,2,300] Demon sighed. Looking up at the sky, she shivered slightly; it was getting late. Sabre and Damien were expecting her. "I will tell you," she replied, no longer hard in tone and appearence; yet holding a somewhat bored, uninterested stance. "..yet today is not the time, nor place to discuss anymore than what i have told you..." Sighing again, she shook her head, as if to say in silence its hopeless... Looking back up at the Balkar Dragga, she turned slowly and took a few paces towards the borders. Reaching where Balkar territory ended, she turned her neck and faced him. Her farcade remained emotionless, as she spoke one last time. "A meeting..." she whispered softly, "anywhere, anytime.. just not now... just send me a messenger..." Continueing to walk away, she had almost faded into the distance, when something stopped her. "Oh, and Leohlic.." she hastily continued, pausing steps again, "If you think of ambushing me or tracking me down to torture it out of me... I don't recommend it..." Smiling, she nodded with respect and kept her head held high; optics fixed on the sights of the Koran lands, home. Hoping, somewhere in the depths of her mind, that this would bug Leohlic so much that their meeting would be sooner, rather than later. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]*Leoh watched as the ebon faemme left his lands and with a snarl he snapped at the air in annoyance. How could she have jsut left him on such a cliff hanger and what could it possibly be that she needed to speak about with him? It was already beginning to eat away at his mind and with another deep throated growl he snapped at the air and turned sharply to head back to the Assembly Point where he would search for a Balkar to send for Demon, and ask her to meet him within the mountains above List and the Balkar territories...within the No Mans land. There, both would be equal...or as equal as territory could make it...he was still Dragga and still teh First of the Balkar...she was nothing but a pack delta. Before he reached the Meeting Place he managed to stumble across Fren, the aged male who was also making his was towards the meeting place with a dead rabbit hanging limply from his maw. Leoh growled and stopped the older and larger male, snapping angrily not at Fren, but in annoyance about Demon's untold message. "Go after that demon wolf and tell her to meet me in the mountains. I am not finished with her yet." With that message told he took off for the mountain's foot leaving Fren standing alone with only his kill..*[/glow]
[glow=blue,2,300]*Fren watched as Leoh tore off for the mountain range and frowned deeply. He was getting older and his artheritus was getting worse...yet with the warmer days he couldn't complain so much. Turning he made his way to an old tree who's branches had not budded this year and began to dig a hole beneath it's roots. Dropping his kill into the shallow hole he burried it and turned, loping after the ebon female's territory...Koran.*[/glow]
