[glow=black,2,300] Eve was young, as the moon rose slowly into the endless midnight skies. Furious winds swept through to the east, turning the days slush, into frozen shards of ice. These lands he was more then used to. His body was built for cold temperatures. He was born to the north, but he didnt know where...
Ziev moved slowly, silently. Raven black coat aided such stealthly movement. His sharp blue eyes pierced the darkness, moving with the terrain as he slowly made his way. This neck of the woods was new to him, infact most of the forests were, like he was born yesterday. Yet his movements were second nature, instinctively, he knew where he was headed, and he knew well what lay ahead of him.
Through his mind, bits and pieces of memories were missing, knowledged was gone. Something had happend to him at one time, something that destroyed his mind completely. He was older now. Much older. Yet he felt like he's a new born, crawling blindly in a clear desert of things he couldnt see. But he was walking, seeing all with a sharp eye. His skills prevailed. Hunting, Seeking, Hiding, it was there, it was second nature, still in tact. But he couldnt decode, where it came from, who taught him. who raised him. That wasnt there.
The Balkar. The pack to his knowledge, was what he formerly was of. Ruthless and Deadly. The packs were only strong when united together. The balkar didnt need to be aided. each and every member was a strong putnar. Strongly built, smart, intelligent in war. He didnt want to be like them. He is one of them. Built strong and smart. A deadly putnar, even stronger when unaided and unseen. It layed beneath the blood.
"Leohlic", He breathed silently. The name was there, lodged in his mind. It was a refrence, he was told to hide, to avoid standing from such a varg's path. He didnt fear, he didnt cowar. He didnt know why to be scared. He didnt know what to expect. Yet he knew that he was to be cautious, and to be aware of his surroundings when walking in the territory.
His blue optics met the borders of the Balkar homeland. His pace slowed, and his blood boiled. He lifted his steel blue eyes from the terrian, looking through the thick brush and forests for the hidden leader. Perhaps he wasnt there. He would wait then. He had time to spare...[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]*Leoh had scented the male long before he had reached the Balkar's boundaries - he was not wise to travel so close to his presious land down wind of him...these were dangerous lands to wander alone by. With fiery ember orbs he watched the male through the shadows. He seemed confused and lost, yet also that he knew what lay ahead. What was this? Another crazy one? Sighing deeply Leoh growled, his rough vocals quivering as he made his way out from shadows and into the milky moonlight that spilt the land from her highness above. His form was small and his pelt a deep crimson red, riddled with scars beneath the fur yet two visible to all. One deep scar ran along the side of his flanks, cleary it had been badly infected many a times over before in the past and it's mark was grotesque. and the other ran along his muzzle, a tokened price for the scar he had given his enemy Demon..for she would pay a price worth than death if they ever found themselves in a conflict once more. "What do you want varg? Speak up before your throat is safetly removed from your worthless carcass." With a snarl he loped forward, legs stiffened and his tail held high in a dominant stance. If this varg wished for a challange, he had another thing coming to him.[/glow]

[glow=black,2,300] The lands that surrounded him lived very well to its reputation, from what he was told. The balkar was the ruthless and unfriendly pack. The forests were deep, dark, and misted. Long shadows of the tree tops soared over the terrain before, stealing it of its lunar glow. The snow slowly melted, the condesation creating a erie glow that haunted the forests that lay before him. Visibility was limited, and a small sikla could easily be torn to shreds before it knew it was under attack.
His auds picked up the crackling and crunching of snow deep inside the balkar forests. His brought his steel blue eyes from the forest floor, to meet the first of the balkar. Again, he was not mistaken. He was a strong fierce varg, someone that many would fear. Ziev's little amount of fear wasn't visible, and would be short-lived. There wasnt much to loose, except an opportunity that the leader would be far from wise to pass down.
"I am to believe that you are Leohlic, leader of the balkar....". He spoke softly, and lowered his head to bow before the ruthless leader. "...I was told to fear you, to be aware of your presence, and to stay away from the paths of such a destructive leader. Yet I am standing front of you, and, my body, it does not quiver or shake..." he said, looking deep behind the ambers of Leohlic.
"I didnt not cross these lands to fight the best of the best. That wouldn't be very wise on my part, yet I see an opportunity in such lands. You may call me Ziev. And Ziev wishes to unite with the balkar putnar. It is you, and the pack of your leading, that only appeals to me, and nothing more. Do not judge me on what you see before you now, for, trust me, that there is more to this small ebony varg than the sharpest eye may see..."
Beyond Leohlic, he saw the haunting mists, as the lunar rays sifted through them, making them glow, adding a taunting taste to the eye of a trespasser. A sikla would have realized his mistake by crossing. Ziev, was no sikla, and there was no error to be made here. Not today.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]*The varg before him seemed brave and fearless yet also very respectful. His words were wise, maybe a little too wise for a wolf so young. Leoh growled and frowned, padding forward and rounding off the ebon male with savage eyes, judging his size and strength. He seemed well enough to be part of his ranks...but Leohlic was not the most trusting of wolves and this wolf would surely have to prove his strength and status before officially joining his Balakr ranks. After circling the male several times, Leoh returned to his front and stood tall, yet still shorter than Ziev, and growled deeply before speaking, his legs stiff and tail held high adn rigid. "You speak with learned words. I would not hope for you to get too ahead of yourself. You seem like a trust worthy wolf who would fit my ranks well..but be warned. You need to train hard and be reliable enough to carry on business when i am not around...otherwise the reputation of the Balkar will deminish along with those who have suddenly turned absent. I will leave you in the jaws of Zinc and Zyro...they will watch you carefully and teach you our ways. If you dare disrespect them...then you msut take the consiquences." With that he stepped to the side and growled deeply while watching the large ebon males suddenly appear from the darkness in the trees and step forward, their poisonous green glare seemed manic and deadly as they fell on the smaller figure of Ziev. With wide, ivory grins they stepped forward, bowing respect to Leohlic and then parted to stand on either side of Ziev, their monsterous size dwarfing the younger ebon male. "Welcome to the Balkar." With his final words Leoh nodded and turned back towards the forest, melting into the darkness..*[/glow]

Steel Blue optics remained on the First as he padded forward toward him. He saw deep in the silver eyes of the First of all his wisdom, knowledge and strength. Such qualities were well emitted, and that his leadership is built upon strong foundations. Upon the well built male layed many battle wounds, some deep, and some mere scratches, but they showed that he was an experienced fighter. Such wounds represented the regular pain and suffering of a balkar wolf. But pain and suffering was not looked upon as misfortune, but as parts of war that were meant to not stop, but to challenge its warriors. It was here, he knew well that he belonged.
Welcome To The Balkar....The words from the leader that he had waited for. It meant that the hour was successful, and that he would be standing on the stronghold of where his brother was layed to rest. " I appreciate your acceptance, leader". Ziev lifted his head slightly, and his muscles grew less tense. He broke his glance away from the first for but a second, and then restored it to the first. The leader emitted a signal to someone else. He felt his claws pierce the melting snow and ice, and his viens swelling with increased bloodflow. Two vargs emerged from the total darkness and arrived at his side. "Zinc and Zyro". The words slipped of his tongue as a slight whisper.
Ziev would be tested. He somewhat had expected that, yet didnt appreciate the twisted tone that escaped from the First's maw. He lifted his gaze from the leader, as he parted into the dark forests, visuals lost. The presence of the other two remained. A slight snarl escaped his maw, no disrespect intended.
"I will assume that you two will assume control of my presence? Or am I misleaded?" He wispered rather softly, voice barely audible to all in his surroundings. It made him uncomfortable that the two vargs appeared without warning, for who knows that who or how many pairs of eyes are resting upon his figure at this very moment. To him, two eyes was two too many. [/glow]

[glow=green,2,300]*Zinc and Zyro growled at the smaller male, frowns furrowing their brows as their ebon lips twitched into savage and annoyed snarls. They had authority over this runt for some time, but only until they had taken him round the grounds and shown him what the Balkar was truly like as a pack. "We are jsut taking you round the pack's territory and telling you about the Balkar pack..for you may have heard pleanty about us you won't understand our ranks." Zinc's voice was deep and sharp, a bloodcurling growl rang after he spoke and his head lowered sharply towards Ziev's, snapping at the air in a threatening way. Zyro chuckled and looked down with his piercing green orbs and nodded firlmy. "You are the runt here in this pack...if you disturb the peace prepare to be attacked. You can only defend yourself if another means to kill you, otherwise you are to let the attack come...we have no siklas in this pack, you just have to respect the rules and respect pain." With that said Zinc nodded and lifted his head again, wiping the snarl from his muzzle before padding forth towards the forest's edge, giving Zyro and sly glance back, at which Zyro nodded in return and snarled at Ziev, swinging his jaws down to Ziev's back end and snapping at the air beside it - not acting to hurt him or touch him, but to give the youth a fright and to get him moving. These two had better things to do than to teach a young runt the ways of their pack...*[/glow]

[glow=black,2,300]
Ziev kept a sharp eye on both the Balkar males. They didnt not seem to treat him well, in comparision to a new member of a regular pack. He knew well that they did not want to give him guidance, but under pecking order, they were gived a command, and a command was to be carried out.
Ziev moved between the two vargs, keeping with their pace, yet the kept pushing him. Occasionally, they growled and snarled, snapping their jaws in the air. The wanted to intimidate him, scare him, so they could establish that they were in charge. No fear had consumed him yet, not even a quiver. He may had been a little smaller, yet he had bigger, more important things to worry about. To Ziev, they were just idle threats, nothing more.
It was true that he would be at the bottom of the pecking orders, and he would be restricted the right to fight back. There would be pain, yes. He knew that he would have to endure pain to carry his rank, it wasn't that he was afraid of. Let there be pain, soon enough, pain will be returned, free of charge. His mind said to himself, a slight smirk alit his maw. He snarled slightly at the males as they taunted him.
"You were given an order by your leader, cut the threats, and let's get a move on..." He growled softly at the males, increasing his pace. The sooner this was over, the sooner he'd be free.

[glow=green,2,300]*Zinc snarled at Ziev and lashed out with his ivory canines and large black claws. How dare this varg have such cheek to speak to his elders in such a fashion. Zyro chuckled as the varg hesitated to fight back - he knew what it cost him to join the Balkar and that he would not have as much authority till he was in the pack for a longer time. "Keep your trap shut! Leohlic gave us an order to show you round our lands - you are a Balkar now and you must have to accept what the ways are like. Now answer us back again and you'll have to deal with the First." He growled deeply, lips twitched as he snarled at Zinc, stopping the other from advancing with threats and attacks any further. The two picked up the face and gently loped through the thick mist that shrouded the Balkar's heart of their territory. They came to a thick patch of overgrown brambles and undergrowth that seemed almost impenitrable. Slowing down Zyro growled deeply and looked from the thick, over grown path adn then back to Ziev. "Down there is the old Den. Since this pack has no faemmes and we do not reproduce, then it has lost it's use and the path is overgrown. Only Leohlic can go there...for reasons we know not." With that he brushed past and headed on to the next area that was of importance. The last would be the Meeting Area. The newcomer would have to know where and what was important to him before meeting the other Balkar. But of course there seemed little to know it was important so that he never stepped over the line and was punished..*[/glow]

[glow=black,2,300]Ziev reacted to Zinc's suddle movements. Dipping his head slightly, he banked left, and turned to face the ebony wolf, his jaws slightly exposed, ivory bearing, and his talons gripped the earth. Snarling deeply, he met Zinc's optics with his cold blue ones, and veered off quickly, restoring his order and faced forward once more. "Apparently, you do not realise that it would be far less than wise for me to make a move on either of you two, yet not by you either..." He muttered to himself, keeping his words from the auds of Zinc and Zyro.
He noted the overgrown path to the dens, the tall grass stealing the thoughts of a tresspasser that this was a trail at all. The dens were dark, figures of shadows from the tree tops covering the entrance, giving the entire dens a demonic look.
Turning away from the dens, he kept his pace between the two ebony males, sharp eyes fixed on Zyro, while the auds fixed upon Zinc. For some reason, Ziev could use his senses very well, and reaction speed and force was incredible, for reasons he did not know. That too, was part of a lost memory.
He turned to Zyro while he paced, keeping his cold blues forward. "Leohlic be your leader....and then? What purpose is served by you two, and by the others? " Zerov said, a solid tone in his voice. If they were to tear him apart anyway, they'd be torn by leader, for a order not followed. Death preceeds death. They knew that. [/glow]
