Soft cold air danced over a single form, still in the darkness as the varg silently stared into the darkness, the sun had vanished a long time ago thus the world had gone cold without it's warm gaze and gentle glow, Tourn knew that all was wrong within this world now. Lifting golden brown optics upward to the inky black sky that seemed to glare angrily down at him, a shiver broke through him as he realized that not even the stars were present. The feeling of being watched and the need to get away suddenly bloomed like the wild flower and enveloped his mind, pupils dilating as he scrambled into his paws, looking around quickly.
He didn't have to look for very long. Soon his eyes beheld the one thing he dreaded, the glowing green eyes of his longest and most hated adversary, not wanting to fight he was about to bolt but noticed the dark beast had something clamped tightly within his foul jaws, that wicked grin of insanity curled along his muzzle as he stared ever unblinking at Tourn.
"What do you carry monster?" He growled softly, eyes glaring at the other creature that forever glared upon him, forever tormented him and forever reminded him of a sin he had not committed but was blamed for. The shadow varg of his nightmares somehow let out a laugh through his shut jaws, teeth clamping more into the thing in his mouth.
Suddenly he threw his catch at Tourn's paws, the sight causing him to back up rapidly, the yellow eyes of the young dead wolf stared at him, forever frozen in horror while his body was etched into the position of utter agony. Tourn did not know this wolf and he had not the smell of Koran upon him, he was a stranger... but the fact the beast had killed awoke Tourn's anger.
Snarling in rage he stepped over the body, ignoring it's mangled neck that sent shudders up and down his spine, his eyes now glaring angrily to his tormentor, he could make him suffer but killing other wolves was something he wouldn't allow.
"Why have you done this?!" but he received no answer other then a grin, this made his rage grow "ANSWER ME!!!" was snarled out next, his tail raised high and his lips curled up to show his fangs, this was the first time this beast had enraged him this far, he would not allow senseless killing from this thing.
The Shadow varg stared at him before releasing a roaring laugh, which soon turned into quiet cackling, his glowing green eyes that were filled with hate glared back at tourn before he slowly stepped into the clearing, the darkness that covered his body began to swirl, making it seem like he was covered in black fog, another insane grin curling his dark muzzle, his white fangs contrasting sharply with the black body he possessed.
"Why?" he hissed out, his voice as soft but as deadly sounding as a snake's rattle would sound to any creature who came too close for comfort "Because I know it pains you, because it causes you agony.... and because you think it's your fault!"
At this Tourn's ears pinned back and a shaky snarl escaped him " I-I do not!" he tried to defend but something in the Varg's words choked him, as he looked back at the still body of the dead wolf a pang of guilt shook his body.
The dark varg laughed cruelly, stepping toward the other again, fully revealed to all, his laughter rising and echoing into the trees, the very sound making the smaller creatures flee in fear, his evil eyes settling upon Tourn once more "Yes you do... you do because I stay with you, you do because I go where you go, and you do because you cannot control my hunger for blood-"
"SHUT UP!!!" the sikla male screamed and lunged at his enemy, jaws snapping shut but catching nothing, he looked around before whirling fully around to find the beast again, standing over his kill proudly, like a young varg who managed his first kill, it disgusted him.
Both vargs glaring they began to circle, tails held high, lips curled and fangs bared, one in anger and one in taunting. The darkness would not end for some time, and it seemed that there would now be one more fight within it's dark embrace, but none would be able to help the navy hued varg, for only h would be able to fight this beast and thus, only he could see him.
(Meaning only tourn can see the shadow beast)

Silverwren ran through the night after a deer that she had scented, her bright eyes scanned the Koran territory, no movement, well not yet, the cold night air sent shocks of invisible energy through her tiring limbs,
suddenly filled with violent rage she streaked after her quarry, a rabbit, her eyes lit up with the blood lust as she chased it, suddenly a disgusting smell hit her nostrils, the smell of the dead, the night air seemed to be calling, she came quickly back to earth as the blood lust left her, Silverwrens whole body seemed to shake as she approached the smell,
out of the corner of her blue eyes she saw a Shadow, a dark menacing creature somewhere in the distance, suddenly a cold shiver ran down her spine but she kept walking into the never ending darkness,
the forest welcomed her lonely footsteps, far of into the night dhe heared a call of a kerl, the kerl who had no family, friends or children, if she did not have her pack she felt as if she wouldn't be able to live,
as Silverwren rounded a bend she saw the most awful and disgusting thing she had ever seen in her entire life, a dead body of a wolf, she now had a feeling of immense sorrow fill her as she looked at the creature, its last breaths seemed to have caused great agony to the creature because its expression was horrible,
suddenly as she stepped carefully around the dead body a strange sight came to her beautiful eyes, a blue tinged male wolf was beginning a fight with himself, spapping at thin air and beginning the fight the normal way by circling and staring,
"are you ok she said, a strage feeling of being whatched filling her mind.

--Ice-white paws trod gently, making no sound as they connected with the ground. The slender form of the Koranian fae was shrouded in a thick pelt, engulfing her petite figure in it's feathery embrace. It was this soft fur that protected her from the elements, and the coming winter wasn't such a threat anymore. But this thick arctic coat had another purpose, it disguised her from prying eyes; the fact that (although eating far more than on her arrival) the femme was lacking in mass.
--A soft movement to the side of her alerted the beta to the presence of a squirrel, unaware of the she-varg that stalked nearby. The creature continued to feed, stuffing itself with whatever it could find in preparation for the freezing weather that drew in day by day. Maneuvering herself round, a single lunge and a snap of her jaws broke it, a loud snap echoing around her from the breaking of it's neck. The sound seemed to linger, making the fae cringe and almost drop her prize, but a loud grumble from her empty stomach held her jaws closed.
--The squirrel's red coat held stark contrast to the ivory and ebony of her own; the tora-ge was quite uniquely marked, apart from her younger sibling Thalia, who was also known as Alice. Sighing, Exerci began to tuck in to her prize, enjoying the feeling of it's warm blood in her throat, a metallic taste that dared to stain her tongue, but gave her the strength to continue her daily toils. Muzzle dipping into the meager morsel, a scream disrupted her meal. It sounded familiar, a friend, nearby.. A pang of terror rippled through her stomach, tearing at her insides like a wolverine. Jaws snapping shut, the femme turned on her heels, heading back in the direction she had come, and still trying her best to figure out who had screamed.
--And then it came to her. The voice, the scream, it had come from Tourn. A dear friend of hers, and although of sikla rank she would not let herself see him as such - for he was her friend, and friends -in the opinion of the tora-ge- should never be ranked, except in respect. However, she knew one should always know his or her place, and show respect to her superiors.
--Limbs moving her forward at incredible speed, the femme dared to tap into her inner self, releasing more energy to her wiry limbs. It was something she had learnt as a cub, when she had lived with the Hyucha in the deepest reaches of the Arctic. Twin sapphires focusing on the world that seemed so blurred around her, Exerci could only concentrate on the scream. She had been replaying it over and over within the confines of her mind, trying to decipher it further. She had come to the conclusion that it was words, and acute hearing seemed to decide on it being 'shut up' or something similar.
--Brow furrowed, she emerged from the treeline, skidding to a halt in a cloud of dust. She had long but forgotten how fast she could run, although she was rather proud of her skill as a scout, she dared not tap into her Hyuchan knowledge for fear of exhausting herself. Panting, she thanked Tor that the distance between herself and Tourn wasn't too great. Instead, she watched him. He was circling something, and closeby led the carcass of a dead wolf; it's face twisted in agony and fear.
--Eyes wide, her saphiric pools turned to Silverwren who had appeared almost opposite her, but through the heavy beating of her heart she could not hear what the younger varg said. As her eyes focused on the other varg, in her peripheral she spied something dark and menacing, moving in unison with her friend. But as he eyes turned back to him, it was gone, and she tried to convince herself that it had just been a trick of the light. But it had looked so real..
--Snarling inwardly at herself, she reminded herself not to be so immature; the idea that her packmate had been injured was still fresh in her mind, and had put her senses on high alert. But she dare not breathe a sigh of relief, as it wasn't over yet. Instead, she made her way toward Tourn, stopping a little way away. Her pretty face contorted in confusion and a hint of fear, she asked in a gasp; "What happened? Are you alright?" A genuine look of concern planted on her muzzle, she daren't take her eyes away from his form; she couldn't - she had to be sure he was still there.

The navy hued varg turned his eyes sharply toward Exerci, no... no! No one else could get involved with this, his attacker did not think it low to take advantage of his friends or anyone else he cared for, he had done it before and he would do it again if the chance presented itself at the right time.
Growling highly in pitch he shook his head at the other wolf, ears flicking back against his skull, tail remaining erect "Stay away!" he warned loudly before turning his eyes back on the dark best that laughed in amusement from his attempts "He's here....Don't get involved...please." he spoke softly before snarling at the shadowy wolf with the glowing green eyes that glinted in the madness they contained.
Suddenly the evil one turned his gaze toward Exerci, an insane grin curling his black lips he darted toward her, jaws opening wide, their white shad glinting brightly in the dark. Tourn spotted this and his head lifted sharply "NO!!" quickly he moved and darted in front of the stripped she wolf, taking the full brunt of those foul jaws, grunting in suppressed agony as the fangs dug into his fur and flesh that covered his neck. Snarling and ignoring the feeling of his blood spilling he whipped his head around, fangs tightly clamping on the shadow's neck and forcefully pulling him off, angrily he threw his enemy into a tree but growled angrily when he simply got back up, not even seeming to be harmed at all.
(The shadow cannot hurt anyone other then tourn btw, he doesn't know this though)

Night was upon the land of Transylvania, making the swirling breath of Lera easier to see as it spiraled through the air. A wispy trail of fog-like breath floated alongside a figure before slipping behind his moving frame and drifting up into the sky. Dark as the heavens in the winter twilight, the male's amber eyes were the only thing that set him apart from the shadows. Within them reflected kindness, and a certain something else more melancholy could be seen if one were to look at just the right moment. His healthy coat shimmered by the light of the moon as he padded at a decent speed through the terra.
Kai was on patrol, as was one of his duties as a warrior. Though he was of a considerably higher rank, he still performed the task with pride; no hint of arrogance marred his aimable personality. The night had been so far 'all clear', and he found himself thinking that it was actualy good to be home from once, rather than galavanting out on one of his self-appointed adventures.
The air was still, not a sound was to be heard from within the trees or deep within the valley. The eerie feeling of being without guiding stars did not cross his mind as he turned his gaze skyward- he simply wondered where and how they might be hiding. They shine so bright, yet at times, they are hidden. Are they simply blocked out by something even brighter? his wayward thouhts were interrupted by the harsh scream ofa voice he oce knew. The exclamation was unexpected, and it shocked the Beta male. Tourniquet? he asked himself, puzzled, his expression now full of worry as he launched himself in the direction of the frenzied call.
Breaking through a line of trees, it seemed he was late to the party. In the clearing, aside from the young Sikla, he saw standing Exerci, the striped Beta Fae of Koran, and another, younger white Varg he assumed was a new addition to the pack, and he had not yet gotten the chance to know. Their expressions were stained with horror as they looked on at the young navy-tinted male; he wore a defensive snarl on his face and moved in such a way as though he were circling an invisible enemy. "Tourniquet!" he shouted, his deepening voice mingling with the lighter tones of the two Fae. Pointed ears pinned back, he looked on, astonished at what he saw. There, on the ground, lay the gnarled remains of a newborn pup; its throat mangled and face contorted into an undescribable expression of pain. Kai felt pangs of torment in his heart as he stared on at that face, his amber eyes clouded with sorrow for the fulfilling life the pup would never wake to see. Turning his gaze in disbelief to Tourniquet, he tried to keep his voice from shaking. "You...You did this? Tell me it wasn't you..." It was ahrd to believe that Tourniquet could do such a thing. Kai remembered well the evening he had sat beside the young male on a hill overlooking the valley. The youth had been unsure of himself, his spirits fallen lower than anyone Kai could recall. He had tried to enlighten him, to lead him away fromthe darkness, but it seemed, from what he was told, that it was something that must be dealt with on his own. Since then, Kai was unsure how to help him, and figured that perhaps, as Tourn had said, that it was something he would have to come to grips with by himself. Could this have something to do with it? The death of a cub, this aggressive display? Kai had hoped Tourn might look up to him as a rolemodel, and most of all as a friend, someone who could be trusted. Deep within him he somehow felt betrayed, while another part of him felt he should be blamed for what Tourn had done. If only... he began, but cut the thought off before he continued. This would be dealt with now, with the help of his packmates, with the help of his friends.
While lost inthought, he saw Tourniquet lunge at the Tora-Ge faemme, and rushed to her side himself, unsure of what was happening. To his surprise, the young male did not puncture theskin of the Fae, but instead seemed to have taken a blow for her, but from what? He now lay with rivlets of blood cascading down his neck, his face a mask of anger and pain. "Tourniquet, please! Tell us what's going on!" Kai demanded, though not ina harsh voice, as he rushed to the males side. "Tell us so that we might help you."

Silverwren was whtching with horror and her pack mate, he was fighting himself but still being bit into with such force that blood spilled, oppersite her was Exerci, a scout, Silverwren hadden't met her, and Kai a wolf she hadden't met either ,
the night made verything look darker and bigger to the younge she-varge, she made her attention go back to Tourniquet, her seemed to be fighting more violetly as the seconds slid away,
Kai seemed to be talking to Tourn, she decided she would give it a go, stepping forward in the the line of fire Silverwren approuched Tourn
" please, we can all see that you are fighting some invisble foe, but will you please tell us what is going on! who is this dead varg, what is this shadow?"
she stepped back, lowering her ears, and set her blue eyes upon him.
Screaming had caught her attention- a chorus of screaming. The cries made Phantom feel a dread that made her guts churn like a riptide. Right away she abandoned her late night walk, and, praying to whatever lay in the heavens, that she would make reach the conflict before anyone in Koran lost a drop of blood.
She crashed through the bare undergrowth of the forest, ignoring the thorny brambles and leaping over the shorter foliage. Nothing mattered to the Drappa- her body and senses were set on what lay ahead, and they shut out all sound except for the yelling of her packmates and the thundering of her paws. Finally, instinct told her they were close. Phantom leapt through the belt of trees and into the clearing where the drama was unfolding. She stopped where she landed, her muscles quivering, tail raised dominantly, brath steaming in the cold air and yellow eyes blazing. The Koran Drappa looked in every way a Drappa, ready to turn her teeth upon any adversary and defend her pack.
The only problem was, there was no adversary. Phantom could only see a handful of her pack in the darkness- Tourn, Silverwren, and her Betas Kai and Exerci. All were snarling and she smelled fear in the air. Confusion filled her mind for a very brief moment, but she pushed it away, knowing that she could not simply stand there and watch.
She padded forward to join them, but her steps ceased as she caught sight of the still varg that lay very near to Tourniquet. The Sikla’s gray fur was standing on end, and he growled menacingly as any wolf about to attack a mortal enemy. But, there was so enemy- Phantom could not even scent another pack or Kerl anywhere, only the stink of death coming from the dead stranger. Phantom tore her sight away from the body and gaped at Tourn. Surely he couldn’t have…
“Tourniquet!” she barked, her lips threatening to form a snarl. “What is this?”
She swung her muzzle to her Betas briefly, her eyes blazing even more than when she had arrived. “What in Sita’s name is going on here?”

The sikla's brown golden eyes whirled from Kai to Phantom and to each wolf that was around him, he knew what the beast had done, he knew that his scent was on that wolf pup's neck, he knew that this beast had used him. Used him like a puppet, used him for his own purposes, to drive him mad.
Snarling angrily he glared hatefully at the shadow varg that laughed loudly, the insane and evil glint in his eyes growing as he grinned madly at Tourn, determined to drive the navy hued varg into the farthest reaches of madness, and he was slowly winning.
Shaking Tourn slowly turned his eyes to Kai, his ears pinning back at the words, but he could tell Kai, because he had told Kai of this beast before so he would know what he was talking about if he explained "It is him Kai...that ghost...the one who haunts me.... He's here now..." he whispered softly, his throat constricting and making speaking far too difficult above the whisper.
Tourn shivered even more now as his eyes turned to the dead pup, sadness and guilt running through him, he had let that beast use him again, it had made him kill, and that was the last straw. Again those eyes turned to the beta male, knowing he would understand the words he spoke
"He used me Kai....Used me to kill...." he whispered out, trembling in both sadness and rage, he had let that ...that THING take control again...and it cost a pup his life, he couldn't take this anymore, it would end.
And it ended tonight.

The silvery light of the night's moon warmed my bi-hued coat as I lay on the warm ground. The dull white moon was making its way up into the sky, ever so slowly. With my paws, I could feel that the grass had a wet feel to it, probably due to the fact that it had rained earlier in the day. I’d heard the rain earlier that day and wasn’t bothered by the sound or the feel. Even after the long day of continuous rain pouring down into the Koran pack, its scenery was still stupendous. Since I wasn’t able to see, I could picture the camp grounds in my mind’s eye. It made me feel delighted and fortunate to feel like I belonged and to finally have a home.
Despite the warmth, I shivered involuntarily. Not being so used to this new life… I was felt different then just being an average Kerl; I had a purpose now. I would not be alone like I was the night when she attacked. Pushing the thoughts away angrily, I stood up. The ivory fur along my chest puffed out as I yawned. With the nightmares I’d been having, I hadn’t gotten a lot of sleep the past few days and I was exhausted. However I did not want to sleep just yet. As sleep deprived as I was, I didn’t want to deal with the nightmares again.
The sound of shrieking caught my attention. My ears perked forward, trying to detect the direction of the cries. Then, I broke out into a run before I even knew what I was doing. Or why I was running towards the sounds. What if it was a fellow pack member in trouble? I thought, though I was sure on varg wanted my help. Blind and helpless as I was, what good would I do? But I didn’t care if they didn’t want my help; I would still be there to provide it—even if they did not want it.
The sounds of the screams were getting louder so I knew I was getting closer to their source. In a few heartbeats, I could smell a mixture of fear, worry, concern, anger, and…death, so I knew I was at the place where the cries had come from. Though I couldn’t see, I could sense that there were others nearby, and they smelled of Koran, so hesitantly I asked, trying to keep my voice low so they could not hear my fear, “What is going on? Is someone hurt?”
Silverwren stared around her, almost half the pck ( not realy) stood around Tourn, his bloodied neck makinh him look like the devil, Phantom, the drappa, stared around aswell as Alice, one of Silverwren's oldest firends also looked at the unfolding drama,
Silverwren walked upto Phantom and aked, " has anthing like this happened before, i havent met Tourniquet before this so i don't know him"
she stepped back in line with Alice, Kai and Exerci, somehow she knew that tpurn would not of killed the cub, somthing was contoling him, wether it was Wolfbane or a shadow it was claerly causing him great pain and sorrow.
As the worried cries of his packmates rang out, Kai could hear the sound of another approaching, and quickly. not far off, a darkened figure leapt through the brambles and padded over to join the group. Amber orbs searched those of his Drappa for any hint of understanding as his brows creased with anxiety. It seemed that she was experiencing the same feelings as when he had first happened upon the scene. Another Varg arrived shortly after, bearing a close resemblance to the tiger-striped Beta, though Kai had not the time to dwell on the arrival of new pack members, for he was being addressed now by Tourniquet.
Though thankful that Tourn had chosen to confide in him, his eyes grew wide as bits of the story pieced together. That night on the hill, Tourn had spoken of an evil spirit that tormented him, causing him to suffer mentally for sins he had never committed. He had thought that it was more of a guilt trip than anything, a lack of self esteem, but now it seemed that the spirit was an actual manifestation. How could he have been expected to believe it before? Now there was little debate that something was out of place. A dead cub, physical wounds appearing out of nowhere, how was it to be stopped?
Ears pinned back, he took a breath and attempted to reassure Tourn, though what he could say to possibly remedy the situation he was unsure. "Yes Tourn, I remember well the night you told me of this." His gaze fell once more to the limp body of the expired pup. "But you've got to fight it, do you understand me? This has gotten out of hand, and I know you're not to blame. You've got to be strong!" His voice was no longer meek with worry, instead it boomed with obligation and reassurance. "We're here for you, Tourniquet. All of us are. Look around! You've got to finish this now, for your family, and for yourself."

--As mayhem unfolded around her, Exerci tried to close her eyes for a moment to block everything out. She needed to clear her mind, to concentrate and then they could try and find a solution. A shout from Tourniquet forced her to open her eyes again, only to see him rushing toward her. From the angle at which she stood, his approach took on the form of an attack, and as he got closer she let her lips curl in warning. Although she had noted the arrival of the Beta Mann, Kai, when he had spoken, she had been too lost in thought to comprehend what was going on.
--Soon, the ebony Mann was at her side, and it appeared that the navy-hued varg was about to strike. But at the last moment, he turned, seemingly taking the brunt of some hellish jaws that none but Tourniquet could see. Taking a step back out of insinct, the Tora-Ge watched her friend as he lay there, painfully, blood staining his coat a mulititude of crimsons. After Kai had finished speaking to the varg who was obviously in much pain, she leaned forward slightly before speaking for herself. "As Kai said, we cannot help you if we don't know what is going on."
--Soon, more Koranians joined the scene. The tawny figure of their Drappa soon leapt through the treeline to find the events unwravelling right before her eyes. Exerci, for a moment, expected her Drappa to understand, but the Beta could soon see that her Drappa was just as unsure about the events as they did. But such expression soon vanished from her face, and soon the darker-hued Drappa moved toward them.
--As she spoke, Exerci's ears pulled back against her cranium, laying flat against the stripes that began on her neck. "I'm afraid we don't know." She grimaced for a moment, listening as Kai, too, began to speak. His words were what she would expect from the ebony warrior, no longer tinged with worry but strong and reassuring. Deciding it best not to follow up his words, or risk ruining the moment, she simply nodded.
