A red-tinged sky stretched for miles above the lands of Koran, making the trees burn and shadows flicker like funnels of smoke. This world was tranquil, quiet - so different from the hussle and bussle of spring and summer. The floor was littered with dead leaves, each of a different hue. Transitioning from fiery yellows and burning oranges to the wilted browns and crimson reds, they fell from the canopy over her head like snow.
Silver-blues gazed upwards, watching the feuilles swirl in small updafts and dance in the wind. Her shorter coat was once again filling out into it's winter glory as the temperature began to drop, and Exerci's somewhat-emaciated figure was hidden. No one was to know (or at least, she thought so) that she had lost far too much weight; her thickening pelt disguised her ribs, and for once she was glad of her Arctic roots. Her long legs seemed unusually skinny, but that could be percieved as the effects of gaining so much fur on her torso. In fact, the Koranian Beta looked awful. Despite the thick, plush pelt; it was quite easy to see the state she was in. She was kidding herself that no one would notice - she knew that - but somehow it seemed comforting.
Shaking thoughts of the future away, the Koranian wandered, keeping to the shadows as if to avoid the light which would reveal her to prying eyes. The dying sunlight was doing her a favour, and soon the land would be coated in an ebony cloth. It was the reason that she had chosen to venture out at such a time.
Long limbs carried on at their steady pace, a sudden wave of exhaustion swept it's way over the tora-ge's emaciated form. Slowly, but surely, she halted, lowering herself to sit in a comfortable position. There was no point moving any further when she had to save energy for the return journey.
[OOC:// This post is terrible, which is to be expected after being out of character for so long x3 Anyway, I'd like to note this is before the whole Koran plot so nobody gets this confused xD]

It was twilight, and Fenris' rays had begun to falter. Through the slowly hibernating foliage, painted with autumn's many red and brown hues, the red sunlight cast their long shadows on the form of a running she wolf. She was rather young, three years old to be precise. A pelt of vary dark brown covered her slim, strong body. Yellow eyes remained unblinking and black ears pricked forward, intent on what lay before her. She ran so swiftly that her bushy tail stuck straight out in back of her. The Drappa of Koran was hunting.
As her prey’s speed began to fail, Phantom snarled fiercely and leapt upon the Lera. Barely a moment passed before it was all over. She stood proudly, clutching a dead rabbit in her hungry jaws and grinning through the mess of bloody fur. Chuckling quietly to herself, she turned and began to trot in no direction in particular, looking for a place to dine undisturbed.
Through the sweet, almost overwhelming odor of rabbit’s blood, Phantom caught scent of something else. She dropped her kill and sniffed the air carefully. A wolf, a Koran wolf…she could not decipher who it was. The smell of starvation and perhaps sickness surrounding her packmate was too strong. Picking up the rabbit once more, she set off to the source of the scent. After a while, she noticed her tora-gee Beta sitting uncomfortably near the edge of the territory, looking weak and very unlike herself.
“Exerci!” She called out her name and bounded forward. When she reached her friend, she could not hide the look of shock that crossed her face at the tora-gee’s appearance, but she did not dwell on it. Phantom set the rabbit on the ground before Exerci, nudging the prize closer to her.
“Eat,” she commanded gently. “You need this much more than I.”
