Silverwren wended through the forest, there was alot on her mind, the fact that she was stepping on solid ground did not have much to do with what she was thinking. she was wondering what it would be like to to be able to fly, soaring high in the clouds would be so good. to be able to get away fom the world and just think.
she was so deep in thought that she bumped into a tree, she sneezed and continued following the same train of thought. suddenly a clearing appeared in the forest, by the edge of it two rocks stood on their ends at a slant, so they met sat the tips. she slowly walked up to them, now that she was closer she could see that a third rock was propped up against them to make a cave, "Nature is clever" she thought aloud,
Silverwren walked up to the rocks and went inside the cave. it was warm and dark but to to dark, she settled down to a nice nap, she had dreams that were about flying wolves and deer and evil Grasht coming to get her.
she awoke shaking and worried. getting up out of the cave she realized that it was just before dawn and decided to go for a hunt. Silverwrens feet were swift and the deer she was chasing was soon to be filling her belly. being tied again she decided it was time for a nap.

Dawn broke through the horizon, for a second everything was dark, hidden beneath a shadow. As if some raven had unfurled its wings so that its full wingspan had hidden the suns light from the lands below. But in the next second the light broke through, tearing itself from the horizon as it began to crawl higher into the pale spring sky.
For now the suns powers would be useless in fighting the snow that still lay throughout the terrain. No matter spring was on its way.
Tarkah rose from her slumer, her limbs feeling stiff and in need of a good run. Giving a yawn the Drappa lifted herself up, bowing low into a deep stretch before padding away from her makeshift bed.
Tail strung high she padded over to a shallow puddle, clearly resulting from the days previous spring thaw. Lapping the ice cold water greedily she swept her tongue across her lips in content, her mood already bright from the promise of yet another fair weathered day.
Within a blink of an eye though Tarkah caught sight of movement between the foliage. Golden eyes searched and spied a lingering shadow. Curious Tarkah began moving toward the moving shape. Her nose lifted into the air to scent the varg before her. It was of koran. Glad that it had not been a varg invading their territory she sped up her pace so she padded a few strides behind. Her vocals rang forth, soft and soothing, " why good morning there young one". This was a varg she had yet to meet.
