Renn led the way toward Listern terra, her heart noticeably larger than it had been when she left, swelled with what she took to be her unrequited love and sympathy for the grizzled mann behind her. Since Kop ahd severed their relationship, the golden faemme’s love for him had waned slightly, over-taken by the sadness and shock. The sadness was for the doomed relationship, but the shock was for something else, something involving her Pack. The Star Gazing Drappa, Fiory, had turned to her darker side, throwing List into changes that were aimed to turn the Pack around and regain the respect they had in the days of Leohlic and Shatocwnn, and the more recent Bila. Now that all three Varg were dead, it had been down to Fiory to reign in List and restore the glory they had from their Balkan roots. Apparently, List had once been a feared and respected Pack, one that not many would dare wage War against, for fear of the Pack itself, and their darker allies, the Balkar, both of which were formidable foes, and combined, they were deadly enough to strike fear into many a brave heart. But when Fiory came to power, List had dropped. It had become friendlier to strangers, more of a close-knit family than a battle force. It had been this kind Pack that had accepted Renn about a year before. But not now, now the adolescents and cubs had been separated into different training patrols. Renn’s dear friend, Gryffin, trained Silent and Arias to be Emissaries and experts with stealth. The tri-hued Beta’s mate, Sudak, was the mentor of Renn, Drathlic and Sora, an unlikely combination, in the ways of the Warrior. The problem with this Patrol was that Renn was on bad terms with Sudak and despised Sora. And the negative feelings for her two Pack-mates were mutual.
Renn had taken a break from training and travelled to the Valley of Kosov when she ran into Kop. Surprisingly, the two had gotten part the awkward beginning and had play-fighted, getting so over-excited that Kop had damaged his already handicapped leg due to the Listern youth’s nifty trick. But instead of turning away, snorting at such weakness, like most faemmes would, Renn had stayed. As Kop had avoided her gaze, ashamed of his pathetic state, Renn had carefully inspected him for further injury, before turning her thoughts to comforting him. Her love for the Ge-Radian mann had been swelled enormously during these moments, for Kop ahd not snapped at her as she had feared, but had accepted her sympathy. For a few breath-taking moments, Renn had wondered if maybe, just maybe, the love Kop ahd once felt for her had been restored. But alas, he had made no sign to show this was true, and had instead insisted on escorting Renn back to List.
They were nearing the border, though at a slow rate to accommodate Kop’s disability, when Renn felt her heart being torn slightly. Though it seemed that her feelings for the grizzled youth were not mutual, she still felt a yearning to go with him, to be by his side. But that was impossible. Kop was tied to Ge-Rad, a Pack which despised Renn and blamed her for events in the past, and Renn herself was bound to List, not by the chains of Pack loyalty, but by her affection for her friends, friends she feared she’d lose if she left. Drathlic and Silent would probably still return her affection, but Gryffin, dear Gryffin, who supported the Listern change with all her heart, glad to follow in the footsteps of her Father, Leohlic, was very likely to feel betrayed if Renn left, and her feelings would turn cold and bitter. Or at least, that was what Renn feared.
Call Me ~ Renn Taint Me ~ Vakasi Encircle Me ~ List Hold Me ~ Kop Stay With Me ~ Drathlic, Silent, Gryffin, Alkiera Hate Me ~ Ge-Rad, Sora
Trailing slightly behind the golden fae Kop padded after her, moving at a leisurely pace as Renn led him closer to the borders that marked the entrance to List, his gait somewhat thrown off thanks to a slight limp in his rear leg. Although he did his best not to show it the grizzled mann was tired, his scuffle with Renn earlier coupled with the long trek the pair had endured finally beginning to take their toll on the young dragga’s damaged body. Kop suddenly remembered the exact reason why he didn’t wander too far from Ge-Rad, simply put it was too much of a hassle for him to travel anywhere else without putting too much strain on his leg which at the moment was causing him a great deal of grief. It ached terribly, causing him a great deal of discomfort as the leaden limb seemed to grow heavier with each passing step, a dull pain spreading throughout his weakened flank and threatening to impede his progress further. Despite this Kop continued, maintaining a relatively steady pace and baring his pain in silence.
After recovering from their earlier scuffle Kop had insisted on escorting Renn back to List both as a way of thanking her for not abandoning him because of his injury and spending more time with her. He had begun to have second thoughts about whether he had been too quick to push Renn away and wondering if perhaps he had been wrong to call off their relationship, most femme would have become embittered and felt some degree of animosity towards having been rejected yet Renn had chosen to remain with him and had even managed make sure that she and Kop remained on relatively good terms with one another. Was it possible that she still loved him? The thought that she might made his nose burn as he contemplated his own growling feelings for the golden furred femme, he wouldn't mind running off with Renn and eventually settling down together like she had suggested before they had first broken up once he was sure of how he truly felt. Not that Kop thought Renn would leave List now, in the moons following their falling out he knew that her loyalty to the mountain dwelling pack had grown as the friendships she shared among her packmates had strengthened.
Still while Kop had felt bad about terminating his relationship with the Listern fae part of him still felt that, at the time at least, he had made the right decision, with the threat of a war erupting between Sarnes and Ge-Rad and both varg being on opposing sides the risk of someone using the two against each other had been to great for Kop to consider putting Renn in danger. Even now the fear that Renn might actually be harmed for associating with him still lay nestled in the far reaches of his mind, making him slow to respond to Renn's advances or return her affections completely. However that didn't dissuade Kop from taking advantage of his current situation, he had found that lagging behind Renn was proving to have it's advantages as he took a moment to admire the golden fae from behind. "A word of advice, Renn." he barked, letting out a soft snigger and eying her tail intently. "In the future it would be wise to let me lead."
A word of advice Renn. In the future it would be wise to let me lead.
The light snigger and the humour in his voice told Renn exactly what he was doing. She could feel her skin flushing beneath her golden fur, a third embarassed a third pleased and another third annoyed. What he said only made her wonder again if he returned her feelings. The light teasing in his voice that told the golden faemme of his slightly less honourable view of her was affectionate, the tone matching the one that a dragga may say to his mate. But that was probably just wishful thinking. If Kop was only mocking her but did not return the feelings then it was a cruel jest. Surely he still knew about how Renn felt - afterall wasn't it obvious after what had just happened - and to talk to her such was mean, getting ehr hopes up then dousing them down again. Then again, she had to stop negative thoughts entering her mind, the pessimist that she was. Turning her head, Renn gave Kop a seductive smile, before turning back and carrying on, teasingly half lifting her tail so that it catched the rays of sunlight and gleamed before dropping it again. "Why really Kop, I never knew you were one to gaze so pervertedly upon the female form." She said coyly, not bothering to look back at the grizzled Ge-Radian.

Call Me ~ Renn Taint Me ~ Vakasi Encircle Me ~ List Hold Me ~ Kop Stay With Me ~ Drathlic, Silent, Gryffin, Alkiera Hate Me ~ Ge-Rad, Sora
Silver fur glistened in the sunlight, its tinted edges shininh with glory of being kept well. Golden optics glinting gently as their bearer steps forth throught the trees upon the mountainous terrain which she lived whithin. Paws carefully stepping onto the rocks, not faultering as they slipped away from beneath their pads, she had become one with the Listern terratory now, she moved forth out into the open on the mountain side near the borders. Head swaying low as she traced the scents which lignered upon the air, catching some which where old, faded away by the rain and wind. But then two new scent suddenly filled her nares and her head went up in a flash. Golden orbs glinting in a slight vicious manner.
The sight of the two varg below her whom where nearing the borders of the listern pack seemed strange in a way, but as her golden optics fell upon a golden peltage of the one in the lead, they opened in suprise. Renn The scent which then melted into her nares where strangely familliar, she had smelt it upon Renn's coat when the harsh winter was upon them, when their frendship had gradually grown. But it was also a scent she had known from another brujo, a one of a bracken hued pelt. Cal. It was in the forest where she had also met up with Renn and the Ge-Radian brujo had come, unaware of the listern faemme whom where still strengthening their frendship bond. But Renn, had protected the silver youth from the bracken hued male, knowing him fromher past experiances. A growl emitted from her throat, whom was this brute who was following her golden hued friend to her home in List?
Fenris shone down upon her as she set off at an almost impossible speed down the mountain side, her coat glinting before she dissapeared into the trees below the opening where she had stood just seaconds before. She wove between the trees, silver paws carrying her silently forth, her skills where gainig in the Emissary game. She skidded to a stop just before the treeline at the borders of List, her coat was dim now, out of the light of Fenris, she stood covered up by a slight veil of shadows. Golden optics watching intently as the two talked quite comfatobly to eachother without a care in the world. They seemd to be friends, despite the fact they where from rival packs which would tear one anothers throats out if they could. Maybe.. just maybe.. this was the grizzeled mann varg which Renn had told her about, the one whom had left her in the winter times. Suddenly her mind ticked over and she steppedout of her veil of shadows, standing infront of the two, Renn and Kop. She stood tall, proudof her Emissary Training rank which she had gained just a few moons ago, she also stood tall, proud of the pack where she had found home in. Hello Renn. What a pleasure to see you again. Her words seemed soft, yet she did not give in to her will to run up to her golden furred friend, she stood still, a harsh gaze locked upon Kop.

“What can I say, varg will be varg.” he shrugged, eyes still following Renn‘s tail. “Every knight has a few chinks in their armor, what made you think that I would be any different? Besides, you don‘t seem to be all that bothered by it anyway.”
While Kop couldn’t see her expression a slight change in her scent told him that his last statement had had the desired affect on the Listern femme, drawing forth another light chuckle from his maw as he continued to observe Renn from behind. He enjoyed teasing her, particularly in this fashion having unfortunately inherited his mother’s cruel sense of humor, though like Cwen it was all in good fun and wasn’t meant to really toy with Renn’s emotions. She retaliated in her own little way, much to Kop's surprise, turning her head just enough to take a page from his mother and taunt him, smiling seductively and raising her glimmering tail just enough to give him a near perfect view of her from behind before carrying on with her trek.. Blinking in surprise Kop stopped, a hint of a smile tugging away at his lips as he stared after her. "Toche'." he chuckled, tilting his head slightly to the side in order to get a better view.
Lengthening his stride he broke out into a slight lope, eventually pulling up beside the golden femme and brushing himself against her flank affectionately. His mind wandering back to its' previous thoughts Kop suddenly found himself glancing over his shoulder at Renn, wondering if perhaps there was still some chance that she would take him back. Curiosity finally getting the better of him Kop spoke, his words coming out somewhat hesitantly. "Renn, out of curiosity...what do you look for in a varg...eh, what I mean is...hmm..." This was proving to be a little harder then he had originally thought, taking a deep breath he tried again. "What I meant to say was...could you see yourself with somebody...like me?"
His nose twitched as the wind suddenly swept across his face, tickling his senses and filling the leathery nasal with an unfamiliar scent. Furrowing his brow slightly Kop lifted his snout into the air, closing his eyes and filtering out the other more foreign scents as he concentrated on studying the first. It was another varg, a female, probably around the same age as Renn maybe younger, a Listerner judging by her scent. Kop growled, irritated, he had been hoping that he didn’t run into anybody on this trip. Opening his eyes he immediately noticed the silver femme, gray optics narrowing momentarily as he noticed her harsh gaze before returning their original, somewhat bored state. Knowing that he didn’t have the best trek record with List, the pack nearly having driven him off the last time he had visited, Kop decided to allow Renn to handle the situation for the time being. Meeting her golden glare evenly he spoke, taking on a somewhat bored as fell back on to his haunches. “And you are?”
((kinda had to rush the romantic stuff a little, sorry. will make up for it later.))
Renn gently nuzzled Kop's face as he moved up next to her, feeling him brush against her flank, the mere touching sending electric shock waves down her body. Thankfully she did not actually jolt. She gazed adoringly up at him for a few moments before turning back to the path, slowing down enough to allow for Kop's handicap as she did. He may have teased her before, played with her feelings in a cruel way, but he had won her back, as he always did. The golden faemme could feel Kop powering up to say something, and as he got the first few words out she turned back to him, smiling slightly, encouraging him to carry on. The Ge-Radian managed to stutter a few more words out, sounding confused and nervous. She resisted to tell him to spit it out, waiting silently through his pause.
What I meant to say was...could you see yourself with somebody...like me?
Oh Tor, Fenris, Zostar, whoever else was out there! She resisted the urge to howl at the sun (not natural of course but she cared not.) It was what she ahd been longing for, for Kop to have her back. And it was so sweet, the way he said it, all stuttering and pausing, scared he would send her over the edge. She almost said yes at once, but something held her back. How was she to know he wouldn't hurt her again? He had done it before, severing their relationship within a few moments of them meeting. Ok, so she had sort of brought it out of him, but his reasons were - in her eyes - foolish. Kop had said that if she had any affiliation with him, Renn would instantly become a target by Serg. What he didn't seem to realise was that she had a whole Pack behind her, a Pack that would not stand by and let one of their members be slaughtered. Also, back then she had been willing to run away with him, disapear from the eye of his family's enemies. But now, if they got back together, could she run away with him. Though she was wary of the new List, Renn knew she couldn't leave. At the moment, Renn knew that she needed to be with List. They were her family really, those she would always turn to for comfort. They were List. Renn's expression changed slightly, the small smile disapearing for a moment. Her eyes were filled with uncertainty. She had wanted this moment, but now that it was here she was confused. Thankfully she was saved from giving an answer. The breeze had changed and she could pick up a very familiar scent.
Quickly, Renn spun around, avoiding Kop's gaze as she searched the treeline. Silent's silver-gray pelt blended in well, and it was only because Renn knew her friend's form so well that she was able to spot her, picking her out from the shadows of the trees. "I see your skills in stealth and as an Emissary have come along nicely, Silent," She said, the warmth in her voice blatant. The friendship between the two faemme was quick but warm. Renn liked Silent, though every now and then she would be reminded of the silver faemme growing steadily closer to Drathlic, making Renn feel more and more left out. Suddenlly, Renn felt Kop tense behind her. His voice was disrespectful, though it did not seem like it was deliberate, merely his slightly aloof nature showing. Knowing that Silent may retaliate with hostility, Renn moved forward to nuzzle Silent. "It's good to see you again without fear of Sora watching us."

Call Me ~ Renn Taint Me ~ Vakasi Encircle Me ~ List Hold Me ~ Kop Stay With Me ~ Drathlic, Silent, Gryffin, Alkiera Hate Me ~ Ge-Rad, Sora
Maintaining an steady if not uneven pace with Renn, his limp no longer bothering him as much as before, Kop allowed himself to enjoy her company, savoring the look of sheer adoration she threw his way as she gaze up at him through bright emerald eyes. They walked like that for a while, side by side, neither of them saying a word as they strolled along at a leisurely pace. Kop felt Renn tense beside him as he suddenly broke the comforting silence, her reaction prompting him to quirk his brow and glance at the Listern femme expectantly. Patiently awaiting her response he took a moment to gauge her reaction, frowning slightly upon noticing the look of doubt in her eyes. He could see that she was torn, understandably so, by what he had asked of her and was tempted to speak but decided against it, choosing instead to give her a little more time to think on the matter and come to her own decision without any interference from him. “It‘s okay, I understand.” he growled softly, a bit down trodden but understanding nonetheless as he brushed Renn affectionately with his shoulder. “Take as long as you need.”
While he was eager to hear Renn’s answer Kop understood the reasons behind her hesitation, he had hurt her, quite badly, before so it was understandable that she would be reluctant to renew the embers of their extinguished relationship. No matter, Kop was patient. His father had waited moons for his mother to accept him, if need be Kop would too. Still despite what he had told her Kop couldn’t feeling a slight pang of annoyance at the thought of Renn’s reluctance, another unfortunate flaw in his nature, he was getting ready to say something else when Silent suddenly emerged from amidst the bracken.
Eyes narrowing slightly Kop glared coldly at the silver she-wolf, save for Renn and possibly Drathlic he wasn’t particularly fond of List or any of it’s inhabitance and didn’t like dealing with the mountain dwelling pack if he could help it. That coupled with the fact that the silver’s presence had distracted Renn and interrupted their discussion was enough to pup Kop in a somewhat foul mood. Renn spoke, catching Kop’s attention and causing him to perk his ears as he listened to the golden femme jump to greet her silver counterpart before anymore hostilities could be said. Silent. Wasn’t that the femme Renn told him Drathlic was courting? His interest aroused he staggered to his feet and hobbled over to the pair, circling them both as he silently examine the silver she-wolf before planting himself directly in front of her. Taking a quick glance over at Renn and making a slight gesture with his muzzle Kop motioned over to Silent. “Is this the one you were telling me about?” he growled, eyes shining with a hint of humor. “The femme Drathlic likes?”
((sorry, I know it wasn't my turn but I got impatient))
Golden eyes narrowed slightly as the golden furred faemme turned to meet her steady gaze. Her silver ears flicked to meet her words towards herself, she reacted to the muzzle friendly. Her first reaction yes. She growled softly in her throat as she felt her warm fur push against her own sliver pelt. She dug her muzzle into Renn's soft golden fur then broke contact with her fellow adolescent to step cautiously away as she saw the Ge-Radian male approach. She audits flicked back against her head as she felt a protective growl suddenly lurch into her throat, threatening to leap out of her maw at the brujo.
His words met her auds, melting into them. The word. His name. The youth whom she had a growing love for. Drathlic. His name came to her like the birdsong upon the fresh morning air. But the words in which he had spoke, they seemed to bring a surge of hate for this brujo with them.
Is this the one you were telling me about?. The femme Drathlic likes?
These wrds also brought a great comfort to one like herself. 'likes' The words brought a sense of loving to the fae. She herself had growing feelings for the ruddy yuoth whom had once been afraid of the sight of the crimson liquid, blood. But he had now become a warrior and she hoped that he too cared for the silver emissary.
"And I see that you have brought a Ge-Rad male to our terratory. This must be Kop." Her golden eyes narrowed upon his form. Her audits flicked forth to lock upon him, to hear any of his words, comments. She stepped forth and stood above him. Showing her dominance a bit too much. She then backed away back to Renn's side, her eyes flicking over too her for slight reassurence.
(Sory for my abscence. Load of gubberish but eh. Got it up.)
Renn watched as Kop staggered forward, limping slightly. As much as she wanted to, the Listern faemme knew better than to go and help him, for infront of others his pride may get the better of him and his mood could change at her show of sympathy. Also he would never get stronger if began to rely on another. Her emerald orbs narrowed as she spotted the humour in Kop's eye. No sooner were the words out of Kop's mouth Renn felt a great surge of annoyance at the grizzled mann. The way he had oh so subtly informed Silent that Renn had been talking about her to Kop was embarassing for both faemme. "Hmm," Renn growled quietly, giving Kop a dirty look as she turned back to Silent. "Yes this is Kop. And put your teeth away both of you, they'll be no fighting here." She said this firmly, looking from first Kop to Silent.

Call Me ~ Renn Taint Me ~ Vakasi Encircle Me ~ List Hold Me ~ Kop Stay With Me ~ Drathlic, Silent, Gryffin, Alkiera Hate Me ~ Ge-Rad, Sora
Gray eyes flashing upon receiving confirmation from Renn Kop adopted somewhat of an amused expression, a smug smirk parting his grizzled maw as he noted the look of embarrassment present on the golden famme’s features. Ignoring the hard looks both femme were giving him he retreated a few paces, his limp causing him to move somewhat awkwardly, and dipped his muzzle in an all too elegant bow as Silent addressed him curtly, peppered tail sweeping behind him dramatically. “The same. Favored son of Ge-Rad at your service…or at least, so I’d like to believe.” he growled roguishly, seemingly unaware of Silent‘s scornful stare. Then, glancing over at Renn. “So she talks about me does she, well now that is something. Exactly what does she say about me, anything good?”
Silent suddenly stepped forward, raising herself to her full height in an attempt to intimidate him or perhaps merely establish her dominance over the grizzled mann. Eyes narrowing on the silver fae Kop rose with her, throat quivering slightly as a low growl threatened to escape his trembling maw. Renn’s friend or not Kop was not a part of List nor had he crossed over into Listern territory just yet, he would not allow anyone to even attempt to claim dominance over him. Both varg were silenced at a word from Renn, pinning his ears slightly blowing a quick snort Kop carefully seated himself back on his haunches once again. “She started it.” he grunted, eyes still focused on Silent as the young emissary backed away from him and quickly made her over to Renn’s side.
Her heart jolted as he rose with her. A growl of annoyance bult up in her chest and ripped from her maw as she lifted her silver lips to show ivory fangs. She heard him grunt to Renn. Another growl of annoyance rose withing her chest, as she too, stood down and swung around to pace slightly. She then swung back to face Renn, her glare almost saying everyting she felt. She started it Them words repeated in her head, rattling about in her mind. They annoyed her, she was not in the mood on this day. She had not seen Drathlic in a while, and she was worrying for his health. She could admit that she had feelings for the youth, but not openly.
Why should she not just lunge forth and rip out the annoying Ge-Radian brutes throat out where he stood? Her temper arose and a whine escaped her maw as she suddenly bounded towards Renn, she could only find comfort in her friend now. Thrusting her maw into the thick golden fur calmed her, she nuzzled Renn gently. Why was this all happening to her? It seemd like a dark cloud had been shadowed upon her. She didn't like this, not one bit. She pulled away from renn, her golden optics sparkling like their usualy self. She turned to Kop. Her eyes still sparkled with the hatred she felt for him before, but she seemed to have a more friendly air about her. "I am sorry." She whined gently to Kop, she didn't want to have any enem's she felt the tension of battles between the packs. The rivalry.
"I don't care who started it I'll finish it," Renn growled, this time more threateningly to both Varg as she watched them stand up to each other for a few moments. "Kop, Silent! Calm down both of you, tension between our Packs is high enough as it is without two youths destroying each other." Her green eyes were serious and she narrowed them, watching as Silent seemed to actually consider lunging for Kop. They widened instantly however, glowing with kindness as Silent padded up to her, burying her maw within Renn's golden neck fur. Renn listened to her friends convincing apology, but she could still feel the tenseness in Silent's msucles net to her. But, what could she do? If her friend chose to hate Kop then there was absolloutely nothing she could do.
As they stood in silence for a few moments, Renn thought back to what Kop had suggested. She needed to speak with him, but with Silent it was awkward. However, the golden faemme would not push away her friend for anyone at the moment. "Well, thank you for escorting me home, Kop, I look forward tos eeing you soon." Her voice was warm, the ghost of a smile on her lips.
Call Me ~ Renn Taint Me ~ Vakasi Encircle Me ~ List Hold Me ~ Kop Stay With Me ~ Drathlic, Silent, Gryffin, Alkiera Hate Me ~ Ge-Rad, Sora
Shifting his stance to alleviate some of the weight from his leg and accommodate for his limp Kop pulled his howls back into an arrogant sneer, revealing a row of glistening white fangs as he sank back into a defensive crouch. He chided himself for believing that he would receive anything short of a show of fangs for escorting Renn back to List, apparently the packs withstanding friendship with his father hadn't extended to him or perhaps List had merely chosen sever their ties with the amber varg and dedicate themselves to the ways of the Balkar like they had in times passed. In either case it was clear that Kop was not welcome amongst the mountain dwelling pack for any amount of time which would make his relationship with Renn all the more difficult to salvage in the moons to come, provided of course that there was a relationship for him to salvage of course. Silent seemed ready to attack and Kop tensed, fully prepared to meet the fae head on or dodge should she decide to lunge for him.
However Renn intervened before a battle could ensue, her sharp bark cutting through the air and splitting the uneasy silence that had formed between the opposing pair. Kop scoffed at the femme's use of the youth but reluctantly complied with Renn's wishes and withdrew from his confrontation with Silent, watching as she padded over to the golden femme and buried her muzzle deep into the creases of her neck in a prominent and comforting embrace. Renn’s proximity to Silent seemed to have a soothing effect on the disgruntled fae for when she finally returned her attention back to Kop he found that he couldn’t detect any traces of her previous hostility towards him, though he noticed that her eyes still shone with the same look of hate and utter contempt for him that they had held moments before. He would have to be wary of her in the future.
Still glaring at her Kop snorted, brushing off her apology, knowing that there was no point in accepting it since Silent had only said it to appease Renn though if either femme was expecting him to return the apology then it was a lost cause as, to Kop anyway, there was no point in him apologizing for something he hadn’t started. “Whatever.” he grunted, rising to his feet as he prepared himself for the long trip home. Taking once last glance at Renn Kop sighed, he had really been hoping to hear her answer and learn where he stood with her but it seemed that, for the time being at least, he would have to wait. Ears perking to the sound of the Listern fae’s voice Kop cast Renn a quick glance over his shoulder, a light smile working its way up his muzzle as her warm tone reached him. “The pleasure was all mine.” he growled, Dipping his head down into a low bow and making a slight sweeping motion with his tail. “I only regret that our venture didn’t last longer. Well, it’s time for me to go. My mom will be wondering where I’ve gotten to by now and you already know what my parents are like, I hope to see you again sometime soon… preferably before the lake freezes in the first snow.”
With that Kop returned his attention to the road ahead and set off, a slight limp disturbing his steady gait as he gradually put some distance between himself and the Listern boundaries. His heart was light and he couldn’t help but smile as he thought back to the past several hours spent trailing alongside Renn, or more poignantly behind her, perhaps there was still a chance they could rekindle the dying embers of their relationship. If so then maybe there was still some hope for them. Kop just hoped that Renn had understood his message, after all, he would hate to have gone through all that trouble of getting her away from List for nothing.
