The breezes of summer cascaded through the winding woods of List's home range. The deer had returned and calved by now, their offspring readying themselves for the coming mating season and the impending chill winter always brought. The sun lay hidden behind the mountain's base with the stars just fading for the coming of the day. Emerald feilds and spires flooded the territory of the wolf pack List, and a lonesome dove flew ahead to shrill out it's song from an ivy tree. It's morning songs seemed to weep for the release of the stars and for the glee of the morning's rays. It's brilliant white feathers glistened in what little light there was in these waking hours. But the avian fowl was not the only creature living at this wee morning moment.
A figure clad in ebony stood as still as a statue upon one of the mountains facing the rising of Fenris himself. There the breezes blew light strands of pitch back and forth in their efforts to move the black figure, but to no avail. She stood still, with her head held high and her body screaming that of one of real importance. And yet, she found herself this morning debating if such a thing really mattered with her and her so called ranking. There was no pride in the way she stood, just course of habit. Golden hues began to sparkle as the gentle rays began to trickle over the mountain's crest, sending brighter colors and lighter greens and golds into the world she lived in.
Her mind wandered, and walked on without the effort of lifting a single paw. Her tail hung low in such a trance like pondering state. Such things she thought of were secretly stowed away in banks unlockable and vaults untouched within both the mind and heart of said varg. Her light banner like thoughts strayed upon her two daughters and her only son. How they had died, and her son seemed vanished without a shadow left behind. Her line was gone, and though her mate had returned to her from the dead, she had nothing but memories of how her children died without so much as a future to look upon.
Future. That word hit a certain cord within that twisting mind, and an idea formed. There was something different about the way things were run now a days. She hardly seemed present now, and her mate even less. The pack was weigning, and dissipating with a catastrophic speed. How had they fallen so? From the leaders of such legends as the Balkarian Male Leohlic, and his equally as strong female Shatocwnn? From the heart of the shadow's sister, Bila, now long dead yet still alive in the ebony figure's basin of memories. And then to herself. Alone for so much of the time, and now...she was leaving her pack into it's own lonesome strides. Leading them into shadows and darkness, with their Balkar allies only waiting patiently for them to crumble into peices. Indeed, though List had started and remained strong for some time, it now seemed barely able to hold itself together, and the ebony femme took it as entirely and unwaveringly her fault. There was no one else to blame for such a vile thing to happen to a pack once vigorous with life. But, this was all to change....
As the shadows crept from the sun, slinking away to find darkness in other nooks and crannies, one streamline shadow challenged Fenris's rays and charged foreward down the mountain side and through the pines and furs the way she had come. The dove above sang in fright as the pitch creature raced onwards, those golden hues glinting like lost but now clear stars shining in a sea of darkness and shadow. The markings she held as scars of her star ward past seemed the only thing seen by the squirrels and avian animals that she passed. It was as if the heavens were running through the trees, instead of through the skies.
Swift and agile paws led the female to a small area, were the holes in the ground showed the dens where her neices and nephews, her family and their own cubs, the adolescents and the adults for now more then likely slept. She wouldn't have known really, for she had not come into them that night and instead allowed her paws to wander their way up that mountain. Panting with a spirit of fresh and new revival, a glimmer of confidence in those golden hues, the ebony muzzle was lifted into the air and a song of melodic voice and alto urgency stretched into the morning's light. The crest of the sun breached the mountains and cascaded it's light throughout the forests, sprinkling it's drops of sunshine into the dens to wake the vargs inside. The howl stretched throughout the territory, an urgent call for all to hear. For today there would be change in the List lands, and Fiory was going to be sure the changes followed through....

Light tickled the facade of a tri hued she wolf making her twitch and stir from her sleep. The cool morning breeze swept the den and made the wolf's fur ruffle. Gryffin moaned, lifting her heavy eyelids to reveal two emerald jewels. Her auburn tassel curled as she turned her muzzle towards her pups. Grinning she licked them each tenderly before looking over to the still sleeping Sudak. Gryffin grinned watching as they slept. Gryffin was a mornign wolf. She loved to take in the scents of the morning and shower under the dew that dripped from the canopy above.
Gryffin lifted herself from the bed of leaves and crept out of the den quietly. She stretched her forepaws and shook out her fur. She spotted the next den and she could just make out the sleepign forms of Drathlic, Renn and Silent. Emerald eyes turning as they caught the slender shape and the silver star of Fiory in the distance. Gryffin's tail wagged before the emissarry headed out in her own direction. She padded on before stopping in front of a bush sprinkled with mornign dew. On there was a juicy caterpiller chewing innnocently on one of the many lush leaves. Gryffin eyed it for a second before flicking it off the leaf and onto the ground with one swipe of her paw. Her tail gave a flicker before she raised her forepaws and stamped her feet onto the rocky ground, and under her white paws rested the caterpillar. Giving a small snort and gave her shoudler a lick before turning to walk toward the streams for a drink, leaving the squished larvae.
Lapping up the gentle water Gryffin looked to the border where she had met with Ziev not but a few days ago. The things he spoke of gave Gryffin a guilt inside, making her think that she was nothing like her parents, that perhaps she would never live up to their title. Gryffin gave a shake to her muzzle and turned from the stream when a howl erupted throughthe canopy to reach the beta's ears. head cocked to the side Gryffin began to trot briskly back toward the dens her tail high in a gesture of joy and rambunction. Her emerald orbs lit up forgetting about her troubls as she padded over to Fiory. Giving a loving whine she crept up to the drappa dippign her muzzle in respect before gicing her cheek a lick. "good morning Fiory" Gryffin murred before sitting down and scratching an itch on her neck. Gryffin looked up and saw a new light shimmering in her drappa's eyes. It excited Gryffin, yet she did not know why. At this find Gryffin rose, her muzzle high . though not higher then Fiory's, in pride, her tail wagging. "Whats going on Fiory? " Gryffin asked with great enthusiasm

The Ivory Beta had been deep in a tranquil sleep when the abrupt kick of one of his pups jolted him awake. All his limbs were immediately fully straightened and muscles tense as he startled awake. He remained lying on his side and began to slowly relax as he noticed the hind legs of his son pushing deep into his side. Sudak gave a smile and a long yawn before stretching his legs once more. With a quick movement Sudak rolled himself over across his back as to not disturb the cubs much needed rest. They would soon be bundling with energy which they always seemed to build up so much overnight.
Rising to his outstretched paws he lowered to his front and let out one final stretch and closed his eyes to push his chest the lowest he could to the warm den floor. Letting out a long groan he rose slowly to his paws and sat on his haunches just as a howl rang off the den walls. Sudak's ears shot up and senses fully alert. The abscence of Gryffin hadn't stricken him until this moment. This of course wasn't unusualy for Gryffin as she often did wander off in the morning. One day he would join her on her morning strolls, but apparently this morning wasn't the time. The howl that rang so richly in the air didn't seem to be Gryffin's however, but that of his Drappa. Her absence had been longer than usual this moon and the Beta found it strange that she should be gone so long. Her voice did sound happy however so no worry struck the ivory Beta.
With a slight bounce in his step Sudak bounded out of the den to find his mate aleardy among the ranks of Fiory. Indeed they both did seem in good spirits this morning and this brought a wide grin to his maw. He emitted a short greeting bark to the two fae and trotted to their sides to greet them with a warming nuzzle first to Fiory as he lowered his head below hers and gave a short lick to her maw in the sign of submission. Tail held low but quickly wagging from side to side in short bursts. Then he moved swiftly to his mate where he rose to his full height once again and greeted her with a flood of kisses and nuzzled deep into her neck.
"Good morning my love. Oh what a beautiful morning. The perfect day to stroll the borders. Maybe even catch some mice like old times"
Sudak gave an even bigger grin as he brought up one of the pairs favorite past-times. Fiory however had brought the group together but for what. She did seem to be a little more cheery than usual but this puzzled the beta. What was she up to?
( OK, I'm back, I just have to bring this up.... Fi' did you notice your last post was 666... freaky )
Light streamed in through the entrance, piercing the darkness that once reigned inside the cave. Blinking open her emerald orbs, Renn sat up, her eyes bleary and tired, woken by the harsh beams. Uncurling herself from the warm ball she had originally settled to sleep in, a stray paw brushed against the soft fur of Drathlic, reminding the Listern faemme that she would ahve to be quiet so as not wake the others. On her other side was Silent. Recently, the pair had made friends and, joined by Drathlic, were now in a threesome, all the two faemmes Drathlic's best friends and friends with each other. Of course, having been Drathlic's friend for longer, Renn felt as if Drathlic were more her best friend than Silent's, and she could not see the foolishness in that distinction as others might. The golden faemme had first met Drathlic when they were cubs and Drathlic had come across her in a mad moment that involved hyper-activity. A raven had disrupted her behaviour and she had cowered next to Drathlic, a few pieces of her shattered memory enough to tell her that this scavenger was bad news. Once the pair had discovered they held a common fear, they were soon fast friends and Drathlic had brought Renn to List. Silent, on the other hand, had not been so easy to make friends with. Powered by jealousy on Silent's instant friendship with Drathlic, Renn had shown her feelings and reacted with hostility, racing away and avoiding the silver youth and Drathlic for ages. However, after the loss of Kop, Renn had found it in ehr to confide with Silent and they became friends.
Stepping delicately yet clumsily away from the pair, Renn manouvered herself so she was looking out of the cave, her golden muzzle poking out of the entrance. Three figures already stood, bathed in sunlight, each one radiating with magnificence. Nearest to Renn was Sudak. The sunlight was practically mirrored off his white coat, shining into the eyes and making it hard to look at him lest they go blind. Deep within her abdomen, Renn felt a tug of anxiety. When Renn ahd stuck up for Alkiera against Sudak the Beta had threatened to quite literally throw her out of the Pack for good, terrifying Renn and doing nothing to break any ice. Standing next to Sudak was the BEta faemme and his mate, Gryffin. The tri-hued faemme was a good friend to Renn and had appointed the golden youth as Guardian of her cubs, Sora, Arias and Aiyu. Unfortunately, Sora had taken an instant dislike to Renn and Aiyu was very quiet, in fact, Renn was yet to meet the youngster. Arias was a good strong cub, one who needed putting in his place but the sort who would make a good Dragga. However, he seemed to have a mean streak, though that incident may have been a one-off. And facing the Betas was none other than Fiory. Relief coursed through Renn as she noted that the elegant Drappa seemed far from the skeleton she was before, so thin that her pelt hung from her and she looked like a beast of Wolfbane. Fiory had suffered starvation to a greater extent than the rest of List, or it ahd at least shown on her. Actually, Renn barely knew the star-gazing Drappa, for they had not spoken much despite being in the same Pack.
Stepping from the mouth of the Den, Renn trotted towards them, dipping her head to Gryffin and Sudak before settling down in a sitting position next to Gryffin. "I am glad to see you are better, Fiory," The golden furred faemme said, also dipping ehr head to her Drappa. "And you too, Sudak, Gryffin."
How to be powerful, how to be strong, how to be like the Balkar, Sora wondered from the far reaches of the dim den where her sharp brown eyes seized all traces of light that fell through the opening. They had transmogrified into two small slants of glittering yellow green and they flickered among the bodies of her pack mates. Her long, gangling limbs were spread comfortably across the damp, earthy soil and the pure white of her underbelly and legs was stained and spiked with mud. The enormous bat-like ears on her head swiveled at every sound. Sora was wolf, but she was also Balkar; the First among the Putnar.
“No Sikla here, no breath of fear,” she breathed into shadows. “To breed the strong we all adhere.” A shudder tickled up her spine as a cruel grin wrapped around her muzzle. She gazed at the sleeping bodies surrounding her and her head went up proudly. She felt like a Drappa observing her pack, it sent a strong sense of power through her body. “Not just any Drappa, the Frost Drappa,” she thought, and her eyes shone. Shatocwnn was the first and only female Balkar, but Sora was determined to be the second. She was better than fools like Renn, Drathlic, Silent, Aiyu, and even Sudak and Fiory. Only her mother and brother remembered the respect the Night Hunter’s deserved from all the free wolves, and they alone still looked to Wolfbane buried in the stories for guidance. She knew what her brother was striving for, and so she was too. But since she was female she had to be twice as able as the males to prove her worth.
Sora decided she needed to let go of love. Love made you weak; she could see that in her pack mates. Fiory was in love with them all and the land of List too, she would never dominate or submit to killers such as the Balkar. A sense of disgust was now present every time she was in the company of her Father. He was so nurturing and caring that it made her lip curl disdainfully. His emotions were in plain sight for everyone to read. He might as well show those of strength his throat and get it over with. Even Gryffin loved, meaning even she was weak. Sora watched her brush against her father companionably and watched her smile proudly at the despicable Renn. She could sense the strong bond she shared with Fiory, and was guilty and embarrassed when she realized just how much Gryffin loved Arias, Aiyu, and herself. She was denying her mother the chance to be great.
She had to wean herself of love, and she would start immediately, she decided grimly. Excitement began to bubble in her gut; she was on her way to becoming the only living female Balkar of her time. Already she had no feelings for the Sikla adolescents who had wormed their where into the once proud back, and she felt nothing for Arias or the sniveling Aiyu. It was time to turn away from Sudak, Fiory, and to some extent Gryffin. She would always respect the tri-hued femur; she was the only one who shared her beliefs about the Night Hunter’s.
A powerful howl made itself heard in the bowels of the earth and her muzzle rose to answer with fierce joy. She quickly restrained herself and tried to through aside the feeling of freedom now beating in her ears. Sora shrunk against the wall of the den and waited. Sudak rose to answer it, but her siblings made no move. She cast them a look disgust and than jumped through them, not caring what she might trod on.
Sora broke into the daylight and the fresh sun smelling air. A hundred other scents hit her nose and she felt enlivened. Agilely she sprung from the hole and began to gallop to her pack mates so that the wind would caress her face.
If only I could run forever I would, she thought but it was too late for that. All of her intentions were set on a much more rewarding future, and if that succeeded she might start conniving the fall of the free Varg.
She came to a halt amidst the scents of Fiory, Sudak, Gryffin, and Renn to see that the former were all communicating physically. It filled her with contempt and than pain when noticed that Gryffin was joining in with all the showing of affection. Quickly she shook that all aside and gave herself a mental shake. “So mother chose to be the pack Varg; it was her decision and I no longer care.”
As she passed Renn her tail arced towards the heaven and a sneer was splashed across her maw. She strutted by, casting her one taunting look, daring her to do something.
[glow=purple,2,3,00]That glistening star, shining in brilliance within those golden cages sparkled with a great intent. The stealthy she-wolf of ebony black and newly gained silver looked about at the four in silence that had answered her. It was almost disheartening, to see only two youngsters, Renn and Sora awake at this hour, and two adults and her Beta's no less answer her call. Those goldenrod auditories that had once been foreward, in one swift moment both were plastered to the sleek cranium of Fiory's ebony head. Her brow creased and those golden eyes glimmered with a light fire.
"I am pleased that some of the pack has decided to join us.." She began, a light growl in her melodically mysterious voice. "For that you four are commended, but as for the rest of them...Including my mate..." She added, a spark of what. Was that...anger in the storytelling stargazer's vocals? "This will be a harsh day to live with."
A moment of silence lapsed through the area between varg and tree, sky and earth. Fiory was to announce something this morn that would turn the List pack upon it's heads and only those ready for the landing would be able to turn themselves right again. Her agile stilts began to move back and forth in a pacing motion, slow, steady, direct. She actually looked like a commander, a general before her army; a Drappa of List at last, perhaps worthy of being in the same sentence as the brutal and vicious sister she claimed to align herself with, Bila, or with the direct and commanding presence Shatocwnn never faultered to show. Obviously the night alone atop a Listern mountain with no sleep and no rest upon her mind had provoked an idea that was beginning to show itself in the usually calm and collected female.
"It has come to my attention, that List is beginning to deteriorate. This once great pack run by the vargs all of transylvania feared is now looked upon as a pathetic excuse for a charity case. Vargs didn't dare ask of List of it's herla in the dead of winter when their own packs starved knowing the answer would be worse then a simple no. The Balkar.." She stopped, in both her speech and in her pacing. That star streaming down her spine began to prickle in irritation, those silver and gray hairs tickled with the very mention of the Night Hunters and their brutal ways; but this had to be said. "Once allied themselves with a strong, virtuous, demanding, and prosperous pack. Now however, it allies itself with little more then a group of rabid mice." Again the drappa stopped, turning to the vargs that had come to her call. Her ears remained back and her head held itself high as if looking at each varg individually and seering her golden hued gaze into their very souls. It wasn't that she thought that her betas, Renn and Sora were pitiful excuses for vargs as she had said, but she felt as though they were diminished then what they could have been by this point.
"This I admit to saying is my fault and mine alone....But, it will all change today. No longer are we a pack of skewed morals and diminished power. No longer are we looked upon by others as a pup tripped up on a stone. No longer are we to be seen as weak by any...Including the Balkar...." Her hues drifted towards the direction where her boundry lines joined with that of the Night hunters. A light snarl creased her muzzle, but her ivory canines remained covered by their ebony velvet covers. The last winter, when Ziev dared accuse Fiory of breaking a promise made with Leohlic moons before, had ignited a fire that steadiliy had grown over the past months. Now, the stargazing drappa knew what she had to do. She had to make her pack great again. To make it powerful and feared; Respected and reveared once more.
"Sora." Fiory barked with a small harshness in her normally silky tones. With light silent steps, the stargazer moved closer to the four, standing while they sat or stood before her. The youngest, and smallest would do for this task. "Go back to the dens and wake the lazy others who have decided to have a lie in. Don't draw blood, but by whatever means necassary..." It was an order for the youngest, to wake the others and force them out.
"Gryffin, Sudak, you are my most trusted companions...If you would please do me the honor of being at my sides in this transition, I would highly appreciate it....List is going to go back to it's former glory, when your mother reigned and your aunt seceded her." Fiory directed this at both of her Betas, yet the ending was turned towards her neice Gryffin. The fault was her own, how she had made List fall so far...esspecially for her niece who had grown into a pack that had once been so strong and menacing. Gryffin had been whelped by a legend, and now lived in a class lower then what it should be. Fiory knew this, and the fault was her own for not seeing it sooner then this.
"We begin the transition...Today."
It would seem, that Judgement Day, had finally decended upon the pack of List, and a world of change had been brought in it's wake.[/glow]

Sora felt the energy about Fiory change and she quit her dominance game with Renn to scrutinize the sudden difference that had come over the Stargazing Drappa. She noted the fire burning in her alpha’s golden oculars, a determined spark she had never seen shining within Fiory. With some surprise she realized that the laid back, weak femur was on fire with determination and what she could only call anger and disgust. The wolf she had labeled as observant and gentle was now making her rethink her judgment; Fiory was showing spirit.
The she-cub watched in half awe as Fiory suddenly took charge, and a glimmer of devious light flickered across her eyes. Someone was finally giving a show of power. Her pale brown ears strained into the silence eager to hear more. Her words sent a thrill to Sora’s heart and she was hungry to hear more. It was finally going to happen; List was beginning to feel the rumbling of a snarl deep in its pit.
We were once the second feared pack, she thought with excitement and they would be again. If she couldn’t convince the First of the Balkar than maybe being stuck in List wouldn’t be so bad.
Sora jumped as her name split the air and instinctively showed submission to her Drappa. For a second she thought she was about to be reproved for the evil look she had just thrown at the Tor believing Renn and her ears blanched back at the alien harshness now in Fiory’s voice. “Don't draw blood, but by whatever means necessary..." The cub met the eyes of the ebon femur to try and find the glow of care that was always present in her eyes. All she could see was a steel glint. Fiory meant it. Excitement blossomed from the very being of Sora, and she gave a quick nod before turning tail, a tainted joyful look plastered on her muzzle and eyes crinkled with evil delight.
As fast as she could she shot across the debris strewn forest floor, her back arching and elongating with each wild stride. Her body was singing one thing: It’s happened, it has finally happened; List was back, the fighter’s were beginning to scent the mountain winds once again.
Like a shot fired Sora exploded into the den and took Fiory’s words to her blackening little heart. She dove towards Drathlic; her body bristled and tensed as if for battle, and bit deep into the loose folds of the skin about his neck and pulled as fast as she could. As if she had been pricked by quills she jumped backwards landing safely away on all fours with a wild snarl. His fur was too thick to draw blood, and with that job done she turned to Silent. With an ill suppressed cry of battle she hurled herself into the timid youth. As quickly as she could she escaped the scuffle, and with a shake of her large ears she turned with a hungry look on her littermates. Sora could wake them much more effectively.
She took a careful step forward, targeting Aiyu first seeing as she was the weakest. With a fierce snarl she bowled into her sister, throwing her aside hard. Immediately she buried herself into the side of the light she-cubs neck and clamped her jaws shut on the loose folds of her neck. Sora shook her head side to side than, stumbling, jumped away. She turned to Arias and as quickly as she could she slapped him with a paw on his head.
Wildly she flew to the front of the den and threw up her head. They all looked as if they wanted to attack her, but she took a quick step back, her fur bristling along her back. “Fiory has called and ordered me to wake you; once again we welcome the cult of Wolfbane,” she growled, than sought her brother’s eyes. The transition meant this to her, and Arias would be the only one among the pit of Sikla’s to understand.
((Sorry for the absence and being late...but I can see Sora has dealt with that nicely ))
Drathlic dozed lazily in the beams of sunlight that now streaked through the cave-like den of List. He lay comfortably by Silent and Renn's side as he always did. The two faemme were his best friends after all, and even lately Silent seemed more than just a friend. But that would take time. He was still young and was unused to the hormones that were coursing through his still young viens. The darker patches of red and grey that streaked the timber male's back heated quickly under the golden rays and Drathlic growled pleasantly in his sleep, adjusting his position slightly as he stirred from his slumber, though not bothering to lift his heavy lids, knowing Fenris' powerful light would only blind him. He had managed to sleep through Fiory's howl and the stirring of his fellow pack mates, so he never knew of the ever so important meeting gathering outside the den and on the mountain's ridge.
For a split second the light suddenly faded and his forehead wrinkled into a frown with confusion. Clouds? In the summer? It was highly unusual. But following the swift shadow was a stabbing pain that ripped at his scruff and the male yowled in shock, his cyan hues flashing open as his ruddy muzzle curled into a savage snarl - one clearly unusual for the normally timid male to bare. His chest and forelimbs rose and it was swiftly followed by his back end, hackles and tail bristling with fury at the sudden disturbance. Azure gaze swiftly began to focus on his surroundings as the yelps and yowls of his other slumbering companions were awoken by the light pelted Sora as she began to wreak havoc amongst them. Growling threateningly his legs stiffened and the male approached Sora with a murderous streak flashing in his usually gentle hues. But before he could make a comment, her wicked muzzle opened to spread news of a meeting ordered by Fiory...and Wolfbane's cult. His auds perked and his eyes widened with this news. "Wolfbane?" he growled in confusion. Breaking contact with Sora's green hues he looked down as a frown creased his forehead. Why would Fiory welcome the cult of Wolfbane upon her pack? Growling slightly he peered up at Sora once again and his lips twitched into the beginnings of a snarl. Padding swiftly towards teh den's entrance he barged past the youth, making sure to bump roughly against her as he made his way out and headed grumpily towards his Betas, Drappa and Renn, minding to give her a soft smile on his approach.

The youth rolled in his sleep, growling, snarling and lashing out at his non-existant victims. The young Arias was a Balkar already in his mind, the blood of one of the most savage Balkars of all time ran through his veins thanks to his mother, and he would tred in that varg's paw prints, fulfilling the bloodline and showing his strength and duty to the demon God Wolfbane. Slowly but surely the bloody carcasses and remains of his victims began to shroud themselves in shadows and suddenly spiralled out fo existance altogether. The heavy beating of his young heart began to fade as the sounds of yelps and snarls began to fill his large, broad ears instead. Light took over the darkness behind his lids and his brow furrowed into a frown at the disturbance from his secretive and personal bliss. But before he could part his heavy lids to reveal the golden pools beneath, a heavy weight fell upon his head and caused the youngster to snarl angrily in shock. His lids flew open as the weight was lifted a split second after it fell and his sleepy yet furious gaze managed to distinguish a blurred vision of his sister Sora bolting past the other rudely awoken members of the den.
He growled bitterly and shook his aching head, getting to his long and gangly legs before throwing Sora a most threatening glance. However it all stopped within a moment as the male picked up on her last words. Cult of Wolfbane? Did she speak to the truth? Or was she just on another overly excited spree? Most likely the latter. Though if she did speak the truth, then He would surely have to have a small talk with his wicked sister after Fiory's meeting. Watching as a rather disgruntled Drathlic left the den, Arias peered round to see the clearly well beaten figure of his other sister Aiyu lying in a heap by the den wall. Growling angrily he gave her a sharp bark of irritance before loping on his long legs towards the entrance to meet Sora, lunging out to give her a nasty nip on the nose in retort for interupting his blissful dreams. "This better be worth it," he growled in annoyance before padding out, expecting her to pad by his side. Though the two were always rivalling one another for domiance within the litter, Arias and Sora were too alike for them to truly hate one another. They had a bond, though it was not always friendly...

Sudak's attention darted to his star gazing drappa as she started about how far List had fell. It made Sudak feel somewhat responsible as well as he was a beta. Sudak shook his head in annoyance. They should have never let the pack fall this far. It was in plain daylight what every pack must have thought about the once great List pack. They are now a weak and pathetic pack. Anger began to boil up from within him and his hackles began to prickle to their fullest extent. His lips twitching with the fury of just the thought of some daring varg to think that of his pack.
When the ivory beta had joined List he was just a barely whelped cub that had stumbled into List territory by sheer happen stance. Luckily for him Bila didn't kill him there on the spot. Not that their relationship ever got to a final trust but they understood each other he believed. Also the great Leohlic and Shatocwn. They had showed him mercy. The two greatest varg to ever walk the lands of List, or the transyvalnin forets for that matter, let a poor pathetic pup live on and also let him stay. This still puzzled Sudak as to why they would show such acts of kindness. Perhaps they were trying to make up for the loss of their sons Fernlick and Baleful to the ranks of the Balkar. Or maybe... Sudak's mind raced at the possiblity. Just maybe they were trying to actually recruit him into the Balkar. To raise him to be a strong warrior as their sons had already accomplished and headed off to do. Sudak shook his head at the possibilities. He had many run-ins with the Balkar and had even fought by their side in one of the great battles of List, but he couldn't see himself as an actual Balkar. Not after what he and the pack had accomplished together. Snapping back to reality with the fierce tone of his Drappa Sudak stood tall and proud next to his mate at the mention of their names. Her most trusted companions they were and will be. Fiory barked a command to his daughter, Sora, to rouse the other pack members, but what gave Sudak a little shock but enjoyment was how she told her to use whatever neccesary without drawing blood. Sudak could only imagine what was racing through his daughters mind but he had a pretty good idea. He could see the evil plot forming right in her eyes. Joy seemed to fill up the little drappa and she darted off towards the dens with the fullest extent of living up to Fiory's wishes. He saw her form dissapear into the dens but silence lasted none to long as he soon heard screechs, growls, and howls of pain coming from the mouth of the den. Sudak gave a chuckle as he pictured the scene unfolding within the dens. As he saw her form reappear near the entrance Sudak gazed back to Fiory now with a more serious look on his maw.
"You can count on me my Drappa to do whatever it takes to bring List back to it's former glory I barely knew as a cub and yearling. The other packs will not see List weak anymore but for what we really are. I dare them to think otherwise"
Sudak let a grin spread across his maw on his last line. A slight hint of evil in his smirk maybe? Sudak can be evil when he needs to be as Renn and Alkiera had found out the hard way. Perhaps this had brought it out in him again. Only time and the guidance of their Star Gazing Drappa would tell.
Silent had been dozing peacefully until rudely awoken slightly by the twistingof her best friend Drathlic. He seemed to feel like he was being attacked by something in his dreams. Once he had raised himself to his paws. She had expected him to nudge her awake with gentle licks and whines. But not this morning. She flickered open a golden eye to expect to see her best friend beside her again, but he had vanished outof the dens entrance. She closed her eye again, drifting back into her doze before it happened. The slight cry of battle sounded in her ears and before she could open her eyes, the body of the young she-cub smashed into her own. Her eyes opened in shock and in irritation as she snarled and kicked out at the cub, quickly she jumped to her paws and shook her silvery head to gather what was happening. Listening to what the intruder of her peaceful doze was saying, a snarl errupted from her maw at the irritating pup.
Stepping out forth into the sunlight, she saw her two best friends, the drappa who spoke to the clan, and the rest of the Listern pack. She still couldn't understand why Drathlic had not awakened her before the unexpected attack. Shaking the soil from her coat, she stepped forth to stand beside the one she felt feelings for, she nudged him softly inthe scruff and sniffed gently. Turning to Fiory, she bowed her head and respectfully lowered her stature to show submitence to her. "Good morning Fiory" She said in her most submitting voice. Her golden eyes looked up at the ebony Drappa's maw, daring to go no father to meet the leaders eyes. She then turned to the two betas and bowed her head again in acknowlagement, a soft grol emitting from her maw in a greeting. Hereyes flickered over to the golden pelted she-varg, Renn. Nudging hermuzzle gently into her friends neck she growled softly. Her auds perked as she listened to what Fiory was saying, her head turning to a slight degree to show a more inquisitive look. She had noticed there was a slight tension in the air, the whole area seemed to fill with a sinister atmosphere which she did not like. She shot a glance to Sudak who was smirking with a slight trace of evilness amongst it. Shooting another glance at Rnn and Drathlic, she stepped back ever so slightly as if to escape out of the tension, she did not like the mood. She did not quite understand what was going on. A whine started in her throat as she saught out comfort in Drathlics fur as she pushed up beside his warm body.
[glow=purple,2,3,00]That golden gaze lightly passed over Arias, Drathlic and Silent as they came into view. Her goldenrod ears which had not moved an inch from their spot at the back of her head, listened to Sudak in silence, acknowledging his words with a faint nodd of her head. She had begun pacing once more, back and forth down the line, like a captain to her crew, a leuitenant to her privates. That sparkling fire behind those golden hues seemed to ignite on it's own, her agile paws stopping abruptly at where Sora had come to sit once more. Her long feathered tail of ebony lay evenly behind her, just barely stirring as if a wind was nudging it along. Yet no wind was felt, and no breeze came. There had been something the little she-pup had said that had halted the Drappa nearly cold. It's remnants had echoed from the entrance of the dens into those sharply tuned flicked back ears of auburn sunshine.
“Fiory has called and ordered me to wake you; once again we welcome the cult of Wolfbane,”
That word. That one single word of two syllables had stopped most motion in the stargazing Drappa's world. It was silent and eery, full of both guilt and anger as if someone had accidently knocked an expensive vase to the ground and shattered it into fragmented peices. Without turning her head, Fiory spoke in a quiet voice, direct as it had become but quiet and collected. It was like she was reprimanding with words instead of tooth and claw.
"Now that we're all...Awake....We can get on with the day...Thank you for Joining us..." She growled cooly, glancing once or twice with just her eyes over Arias, Drathlic and Silent, noting without a whisper how affectionate Silent had become with Drathlic. But that matter would have to wait. Instead, her muzzle dipped downward to Sora from it's high pedastool, her ears pinned back and a look of cool confident flame in her eyes of sunshine gold.
"Sora....Did I ever...Mention Wolfbane, when I told you to wake the others?" It was a question of just a yes or no answer to suffice. The silver and ebony hairs on her hackles began to raise ever so slowly and her peircing gaze caught the young female's hues like daggers on fire, and would not release them. Never had Fiory asked Sora to mention Wolfbane's horrific name. Never had she sneezed a mention of his name to begin with. That, was entirely Sora's own concoction. Truth be told, Fiory still wanted nothing to do with the hellborn god of fire and despair. She was happy enough looking to the skies, if not to Tor and Fenris directly, and that was one thing at this point that wasn't to change.
"Today marks the day when the old List is tossed out like last season's rotted leaves from our dens. No longer are we to be ridiculed for having kinder hearts and nobler spirits. Beginning today we will prove to the packs in the vacinity and world wide, that List is strong and capable of holding it's own." Fiory paused lightly, her paws begining to move slowly in front of her again, her pacing continued. The dramatic effect left silence in it's wake, before the drappa slashed through it and began once more. "Today, we begin a new era....One List can be Proud of..."
A quiet respite was given until the star gazer had moved to the center of the group in front of them. She turned elegantly, gracefully on her paws, facing them with that blazing gaze of fire and determination. A gentle smile creased her muzzle, signalling for just a moment that she was still as kind hearted as she had always been, she was just more level set then she had been before.
"Sudak, if you'll train our...Adolescents...in warrioring skills, in building their strengths and holding their own, I would be much abliged. Gryffin, if you would teach them to become cunning and watchful as an emissary will need to be, I would be much appreciated..." Her head turned to the younger of List, telling herself that this was for them, for List's glory to return, and that even the hardest roads could come to the shiniest places. "Drathlic, Renn and Sora...You three will begin your warrior training today with Sudak when he is ready. Do as he says, as if I was telling it to you. Arias and Silent will go with Gryffin, who will be shown the utmost respect no matter what the task she sets for you." There was a pause, her mind was working, thinking about the groups she had assigned and their meaning. She had pitted enemies together, and split up an affectionate looking couple. It was harsh and they would probably find it cruel, but it was only with their best interests in mind. Drathlic and Silent would be much less distracted if away from one another, and though Renn and Sora seemed to distaste one another's pressence they both needed to learn to deal with the other, dispite their differences. Arias and Sora were split, mainly because Fiory didn't wish for both cubs to gang up upon either Renn, Drathlic or Silent. Splitting them up, was the only way. A quieted blink was given, before the agile ebony female gave a small and sharp nod of her head, as if approving of her own made groups.
"When you feel as though they have learned all they can, Sudak and Gryffin, send them to me....Dismissed."[/glow]

Gryffin looked up, blood red ears twitched as she took in the star gazing Drappa's words. A bubble of excitement rushed through the young she wolf's bodice. Her auburn tail gave a twitch as she shifted her weight from paw to paw. Though the emissary cringed when she heard Fiory spat criticism for the grotesque image List had now become. Guilt enveloped the youth as she hung her head for the moment, but talks of rebuilding and starting a new era made Gryffin rise with a new dawning of excitement. Emerald jewels gave of a fire like resemblance to those blazing eyes of Leohlic.
Gryffin felt an overpowering of agreement to Fiory's words and she wanted to howl out her agreement. Instead the Femme's lips twitched into a grin a soft growl emitting from the depths of her throat as she took in the words. She was not a pup anymore. The beta stood there her muzzle high, proud once again to be of List. Not only would she be proud to have the blood of balkar but be the beta in the ranks of List. The strong and fierce wolves of the mountains.
Gryffin turned to look at her headstrong daughter, the she pups eyes bubbled with spitfire. She watched as Fiory ordered her daughter to wake the others. Gryffin smirked her emerald orbs giving a blink as she watched her daughter speed off with excitement. The pup reminded Gryffin something about her own youth and the beta raised her muzzle in pride for the little she pup.
No soon then a second howls of pain and annoyance erupted from the den where the adolescents of List slept. Gryffin gave a snicker as she watched Sora pad to the entrance, her snout high. The howls seemed to have stopped once Sora had announced the reason for the rude awakenings. But the talk of Wolfbane made Gryffin's spine tingle, as she raked her front talons into the mountainous earth. Her eyes lit up with the thought for the tri hued femme had never stopped believing in wolfbane. Taught and scarred into her mind from her father's lectures she remembered them well now. Though Gryffin felt guilt dwell in the pit of her stomach. The talk with Ziev had made Gryffin realize that she had forgotten who she was. Not just Gryffin of List. But Gryffin the daughter of the great Shatocwnn and Leohlic. Gryffin beta and emissary of the great List. Gryffin could purr with pride as she turned her head once again to her ebon tinted drappa.
Gryffin looked up as Fiory snapped at Sora, asking her if she had said anything about Wolfbane. Gryffin found a sense of disappointment in her gut as she turned to her daughter, her eyes meeting her and Gryffin gave a smirk, recollecting how her daughter were growing up to be like, before turning her view back to Fiory and she gave a nod. "You can count on me as well. Gryffin said her emerald orbs glowing bright as she locked with Fiory's fire-like gaze for a second before breaking the stare with her own fiery stare.
A ray of light entered Gryffin as her lips twisted into a grin. A grin that reflected Soras. The old days were returning once again, and that meant the old Gryffin would make its return, the talk with Ziev and Sora and Arias’s attitudes bringing back memories of how her and Fernlick had acted. Though they had shared a tight bond, not only of blood but of their beliefs they still had their tussle of dominance and stature, though they had gone separate ways as Gryffin was a femur and that banned her from joining the balkar. Over time without anyone to lead her she had forgotten who she was. But now it would all change. Today it would all be the same again.
Gryffin whipped her head to stare at Fiory, a strong nod told the drappa she was aware of her job. Gryffin lifted her muzzle, ”I will teach them all I know and they will learn everything the swift and agile Lyft has taught me. Gryffin told. Lyft was one of the ‘original six’ of List. Gryffin could remember the agile emissary and she would tell the youngsters the story of her mentor. She was a white she wolf, though her pelt was dusted in an elegant shade of blue, and her legs had grown to be long, longer then most wolves. She was sleek and slender and her shy nature made her the best emissary known to Gryffin. Only Lyft had passed on but she had taught Gryffin much.
Gryffin looked to her apprentices and she gave a nod to the timid Silent. Gryffin noticed her name. Silent Though the beta remembered her as a pup. Silent she was not. But the femme had matured much and had grown up a lot, she would be make an excellent scout. She then turned to her own son Arias. He had a warriors heart but unlike the rampaging Sora who delved into something head first Arias would be suitable for her training as well. Gryffin grinned as she looked to Arias.
”Training will begin today then. Hunt your breakfast and then return to the dens where we can start. she said and gave a nod to Fiory. ” I will do my best” The beta’s eyes then shifted over to the den where her timid daughter slept. Aiyu. A whine almost escaped her maw as she gave a huff. Either the rude awakening Sora had gave her made her shy even more in the den or Aiyu just decided she would not wake. No matter. Gryffin decided, she would talk to her quiet daughter later in the afternoon.
(sorry Aiyu for presuming you were hiding out in the den. It was the only reason I could think of to explain your absence!)

Sora studied Drathlic’s reaction to Wolfbane with a twitch at the corners of her mouth. “Scared are we,” she thought to herself with an internal chuckle. “You should be whelp.” He was much larger than her and had seen twice as many moons, but as he strutted towards her stiff legged her tail only faltered slightly. Sora wasn’t going to start showing her throat to Sikla’s, even if they were nearly grown.
Obligingly, Sora let him bang into her side. She stumbled slightly than regained her balance. Her green orbs followed him up until he was lost from sight. The look in her eyes and the expression of her grin was odd; half thoughtful and half mocking. Poor Drathlic would be sorry someday; they all would. Weaklings: she detested them all. Luckily Sora wouldn’t be young for forever.
She turned as Arias scraped closer. She knew what was coming, and as soon as the canines left her muzzle her own jaws snaked towards her littermate with a ferocious snarl and skin along the top of her muzzle wrinkled. Sora stopped short of his skin and went back to her previous stance, her head the same height as Arias. She watched him leap agilely up the den entrance and her eyes turned cold. “Oh, it will be,” she breathed to him. She noticed he waited for her to join him. “I’ll catch up.” The cub was going to make sure every last wolf was out before she herself left.
She couldn’t help but laugh as Silent shook the remnants of sleep from her bodice and snarled her contempt for Sora. With a devious show of teeth from the cub, the elder femur disappeared. As her tail whisked by Sora almost reached out to grab it with her needle like teeth, but than resisted the urge. Aiyu was still here to play with.
“Come on weakling,” she taunted her sister. “Get up or I’ll show you the real meaning of pain. What good are you; skulking behind Father, tucking your tail at the slightest sign of a threat.” Sora’s oculars turned mean and her voice harsh. “What about the Balkar that flows through your veins; what about the Frost Drappa’s presence beneath your flesh; or do you only carry the blood of those arctic wolves in you. You blood traitor; you despicable.” She feinted forward than laughed in disgust and vanished into the day.
Sora sat beside her brother with her head held proud. Fiory stood before them all; cold and calculating. She could almost feel the power of the past Listern Vargs stirring in the ground beneath her paws; trying to escape and be free. She smirked. She felt she had done quite a good, effective job in waking the scum who plagued the land of her ancestors.
The Stargazer seemed to disagree. Sora faltered beneath the ebon Drappa no longer looking so dominant. Her emerald orbs clearly voiced the confusion in her mind. She had thought they were reverting to the old ways and once again going to start worshiping fear and spreading hate. She knew that was more of the Balkar’s role in nature, but List had been a terrible and great pack too with its principles running in the same track. Sora realized that Fiory was not relenting and her head drooped in humiliation…and fury. She struggled for a moment with the passionate hate bubbling inside of her and the longing to bite the femur; if not now but someday. “No,” she muttered finally, keeping the anger that was reflecting in her emerald orbs downcast so that no one would notice it.
The cub didn’t hear Fiory for a while; she was too consumed with venom. But once again she was ensnared by those strong words and so she let it go…for the moment.
“Yes, warrior duties,” she thought in triumph, casting a gloating look at her brother. And with Renn. What fun. //Sorry Aiyu, but I thought my post might be a reason for you to stay in the den and I have to go to this soccer try out thing now and won't be back till nineish...so ya! Sorry!//
((Not a problem, I figured that you might have already been writing a post anyway so it's no big deal. I'm not going to be able to finish my post tonight but I'll post what I have, will try to have it finished by tomorrow))
Aiyu lay exactly where her parents had left her, curled in a tight ball beside her brother snoring softly; her chest rising and falling rhythmically with each breath. Even within the cavernous den Fenris brilliant rays shone brightly upon the young sikla, warming her chilled body and inciting a soft whine from the youngest of Gryffin’s first litter. The warm rays felt good and the white-orange femme shifted slightly, adjusting herself to a more comfortable position that would both keep her within the line of Fenris’ ever vigilant line of sight and shield her eyes from gazing directly at his shimmering continence upon awaking. For the most part things had been peaceful in List as of late, the summer season allowed the land to support the vast amount of life forms that inhabited the mountain range and as such prey was plentiful for the time being. List itself was once again returned to it’s previous state of glory, their strength having returned with coming of the Herla allowing them to regain their former state of power. Or at least the state of power Aiyu had always known anyway. Like Drathlic and those around her Aiyu had managed to sleep through Fiory’s initial summon, and while her packmate had managed to lull himself out from the depths of his slumber on his own the bi-colored femme had failed to follow his example and do likewise. Rather she continued drifting aimlessly through the realm of dreams as she lay unaware of the gathering that was taking place between her beloved parents and a select few packmates, her elder sister Sora amongst them, leaving the young pup completely unprepared for what was about to happen. Even from the world she had created in her dreams Aiyu heard the familiar telltale snarl of her elder sister, a sure sign of aggression that always seemed to be directed at Aiyu for some reason. It didn’t take a genius to figure out where Sora’s wrath would be directed when she was in a foul mood, regardless of whether she was the cause or not Aiyu knew that Sora would use her as an outlet to vent her frustration.
She was right.
Her eyes shooting open Aiyu instinctively scrambled to escape her sister’s wrath, hoping to vacate the den before red(?) femur could reach her. However Sora was on her in an instant, not noticing that Aiyu was already awake or perhaps just not caring she threw herself at the off-colored pup, slamming into her side with such force that it drove the air from her lungs leaving her winded and momentarily paralyzed. Aiyu gave out a screeching yelp, more out of surprise then pain, as she felt Sora suddenly clamp her jaws around the loose folds of skin around her neck, crying out in pain as her sister shook her violently from side to side before finally letting go. Whimpering softly the young sikla quickly made her way towards the nearest corner, her tail tucked tightly between her legs and her ears pulled flat against her skull in an obvious show of submission. She watched as Sora shot over to Arias and, without a hint of remorse or hesitation, cuff him soundly on the skull with her paw, rousing the already normally volatile pup from what looked to be a rather pleasant dream. Aiyu pressed herself even closer to the ground, knowing that things would not improve once her brother decided to rise to his feet. Emerald eyes widening at the mere mention of Shapechanger and her gaze quickly swerved back over to her sisters prominent form. Was it really true? Had fury decided it was finally time that List follow in the footsteps of its predecessor the Balkar and worship the Evil One or was Sora blowing things out of proportion again and taking Fiory’s words out of context? Probably. Sora did have a slight problem exaggerating when it came to these sort of things.
Taking a moment to glance around the den it became quite obvious that the Aiyu and Arias hadn’t been the only ones to fall victim to Sora’s initial assault as the light hued pup quickly noticed a very disgruntled Drathlic stalking out of the den with a growl, the white femme Silent tailing slightly behind him. It became apparent upon further inspection that neither Renn nor either of the Listern Beta’s were present within the den which partly explained why no one had made an attempt to stop Sora’s rampage before it had spread throughout the entire den. Catching sight of Arias gradually making his way towards her location Aiyu couldn’t help but cringe beneath her brother’s harden gaze, flinching as he let out a sharp bark, scorning her, before padding off to join Sora near the entrance to the den. Of the three of them Arias and Sora were the closest and most alike of the trio, both varg being rather short tempered with anyone they deemed unworthy of their respect...unfortunately this consisted of most of the pack; Aiyu included. Like most pups they aspired for greatness and were eager to follow in the footsteps of the Great Leohlic, the First of the Balkar, and Shatocwn, the only femme ever accept into the Night Hunters since the time of Morgra and the Sight she briefly recalled how she had often heard her mother compare the young dragga to their grandsire. Cruel by nature it was apparent that they received great pleasure in both the dominating and tormenting of others, particularly those weaker than themselves though they seemed to find some sliver of excite in testing their limits with anyone that chose to stand up to them. Seeing that Aiyu had no doubts that both wolves were well on their way to becoming part of the dreaded Night Hunters.
Realizing that she had lost her chance to escape the den with the others Aiyu let out a soft whine as Sora once again turned to face her, cowering as she taunted and scorned her for being weak and accusing her of being a traitor to their bloodline. Hurt by her sisters comment Aiyu pressed herself down further against the ground as though hoping that it might swallow her so that she might be spared from her having to listen to anymore of her sisters barbed words. Why, why did she think these things about her? She wasn’t a disgrace, was she? It wasn’t her fault that she wasn’t as strong as Sora or Arias. So then why did her siblings always treat her this way? “But you carry that blood too.” she whimpered, her voice so low that it could barely be registered as a whisper. Sora made as to come forward again and Aiyu couldn’t help but flinch, letting out a terrified yelp at the prospect of another assault. However Sora merely laughed at her reaction, casting the pup another scornful glance before finally exiting the den to join Arias and return to the gathering. For a moment Aiyu just lay watching the entrance of the den, half afraid that Sora would come back to torment her again. When she realized that she was finally alone she let out a strangled sob and began whimpering, curling herself into a tight ball and wishing that her parents were there to comfort her. Sora’s words echoed in her mind causing her eyes to burn with unshedable tears and making her whimper even harder, was that how everyone felt about her? Did all of List see her as a pathetic Sikla…did her parents? The very thought that either of them might scorn her like her siblings tore away at the young femme and Aiyu couldn’t help but wonder if her parents regretted having her. Her eyes harden momentarily and a flicker of anger surged through the little Sikla, one day she would make Sora pay for what she had said to her. However the moment quickly passed and Aiyu’s anger along with it, she was surprised to find that she could feel that way towards her own sister and the realization that she could disheartened her further. For even though her siblings ritualistically picked on her Aiyu still loved them, she would wish them any harm no matter how much they chose to scorn and ridicule her for not being as strong as them.
Though Aiyu had a feeling that even if she ever did work up the nerve to stand up to either of her siblings, chances were that their parents would probably side with them. It seemed that no matter what Aiyu did she was alone. She wasn’t weak, she wasn’t pathetic, and she certainly wasn’t a traitor. But how could she prove it? Still sniffling Aiyu rose to her feet and finally began making her way out of the den, stopping just short of the entrance and poking her head out just enough for her to watch the proceedings without being seen. The pack stood vigilantly as they listen to Fiory make her declaration of change, vowing that List would no longer be viewed as the soft, kind-hearted pack others took them for. The pack that Aiyu had been born into. Aiyu wasn’t entirely sure she liked the sound of that and wondered what List would be like if Fiory followed through with her claim, would the pack revert to the way it had been during the time of it’s founders? Or would it be even worse? Aiyu shuddered, the though that List might soon change to match Sora and Arias liking frightened her.
Silently creeping out from the den she made her way closer to the hearing, but rather then heading out towards the clearing she kept herself within the trees that clung to the surrounding area so to remain hidden from the view of the rest of the pack. Perking her ears she listened as Fiory assigned both Gryffin and Sudak to train the more inexperienced pack members so that they might better serve the pack in the near future, dividing them into two separate groups, which Aiyu noticed were comprised of strictly opposing packmates, before concluding the meeting. Again Aiyu felt disheartened as she realized that her name had not been mentioned among the varg to be trained, had Fiory forgotten about her or had the Stargazing Drappa intentionally excluded her? Would she even be permitted to train with the rest of the pack or did her status in List exclude her from participating in the upcoming activities. Gryffin’s expression did nothing to improve her mood as Aiyu quickly noticed her mother glancing back towards the den, no doubt checking to see if the bi-colored Sikla had finally made an effort to join the rest of the pack, something resembling disappointed shining in her emerald hued eyes. Pain ripped through the young femme‘s heart though it was not so much in a physical sense like it had been earlier with Sora but rather an overwhelming feeling of sadness that came from the thought that her mother might actually be ashamed of her. Biting back another whimper Aiyu seated herself back on her haunches and stared aimlessly down at her paws, desperately wanting to comforted and yet not quite ready to make her presence known.
