The tri hued femme lifted her cranium. Her tassel of auburn twisted to the side as she looked around her whelping den. There in the bed of leaves layed her sleeping pups. Gryffin grinned watching as their sides rose and fell with every breath. The beta looked out of her den. Emerald orbs raised to look to the dusk sky painted with hues of purple, blue, red and orange. Gryffin tilted her head there in the midst of the whirlwind of sunset sparkled gleaming stars. Was that her mother? Her father? Or were they with Wolfbane. The young varg lifted herself up into a sit, shaking off moss and leaves that clung to her pelt. Fiory, her star gazing drappa had told her about Tor and Fenris. Though she had grown up trusting in Wolfbane.
Gryffin blinked before getting up. Shaking herself she looked to her pups. Crimson tipped ears twitched as she watched them, still asleep. As quiet as a mouse she padded out of the whelping den. The same den where she was born. And before the den was a lake. A crimson lake her mother had called the 'Crimson Pool" for its waters were bathed in blood red. It was said that the water was dyed red from blood itself. Gryffin padded up to the banks drenching her front paws into the murky liquid. The surface was dotted with lily pads and lily flowers of pink and white. But whenever a pack member died, a blood red lily would bloom in the middle of the lake. Ironic or not, it was the way of the List.
List. Gryffin thought. Allies ofthe balkar. The pack once known as the second fiercest apart from the Ngiht Hunters. Her father ruled both packs. And how Gryffin wanted to be a balkar during her puppyhood only to be turned down because of her gender. She also remembered the many times she had slipped into the balkar territory, small and so vulnerable. Yet daring and curious. Sneaking into the terrain to see her father, the Second at the time, her two brothers Baleful and Fernlick and her Uncle Tamra, the First at the time.
Though know it seemed that the List were drifting apart from the balkar. Soemthing Gryffin did not like. She was caught, liek a fly in a widows web. Her drappa Fiory despised the balkar. What was the beta to do? She could not sit and hear vargs talk dirt of the balkar. Especially if she were with Draeg. Words from his mouth were always dung about the balkar and Gryffin usually found her hakcles raised and soft growls of resent escapign her throat self conciously to her, no matter if they were friends or not.
The Emissarry had begun to walk now, through the mountainous terrain. Her back to the List dens as her paws took her onward through the territory. Her eyes looked up to the sky, it was beginning to darken even more now as evening settled in. Her eyes closed as she felt water falling and soaking her muzzle. Gryffin shook, her emerald jewels shimmering as they lifted to the evening skies that were now curtained by clouds.
The tri hued she wolf shook out her fur as the rain continued in a soft shower. But the femme loped on, when she found herself near the borders of List. Her eyes scowered the distances, checking for any intruders, as that was her job. Her tail gave a flick and she continued on her patrol of the borders, her steps pushing her parallel to the boundaries as she moved, her nose wet as they scented the grounds.
But suddenly she could smell a scent, both welcoming and intrusive. Gryffin lifted her muzzle, her lips wrinkling in the evening light. Her emerald orbs turned to look to the shadows. The darkness danced with care, wrapping its silky black shapes around the vegetation. The beta stood her pelt drenched in the evening rain as she blinked back the droplets. her blood rusted ears pricked up as she waited for the dancing shadows to part as she looked on in the rain.

[glow=black,2,900]Saphire eyes pierced the spreading darkness, sheets of light rain sifted through the thick brush finally landing on the thick charcoal coat of the awakening wolf. The scent of the damp grounds flooded the mind of the wolf, along with the sight of the setting sun, trigged his conscience, as the black wolf rose to his feet, and parted from the shelter of a large conifer.
The rugged terrain of List was now more or less familiar, and a faint idea told the wolf relatively where he could avoid a crowd. It was not the first time he'd been here, but the first time wasn't even close to pleasant. Last time he entered more formally, to halt the Dragga of Ge-Rad from capturing the minds of List, the way that he could so famously do. There he was met by not just Fiory and Draeg, but a flood of worthless cubs and siklas, each thinking that they could so boldly challenge a Balkar wolf. It was one thing to just stand it, but resisting the temptation to stop it was something so unbearable.
Leaving them so, only brought more hatred toward list, something that Serg and Leohlic had taught him to avoid, yet now that Leohlic had passed, and Serg seemed to no longer be a problem, it seemed to more and more easy to clamp their jaws shut permanently. Although, now, a better idea fell into place, something relatively easy, and more amusing.
And if these evening ran right, he'd another asset on his paws, a third of the valley in his possession, and a name for the rest to remember. Ziev, the Second of the Balkar.
The border of list was met just as the last of the sun had submerged, and the rain's pace had increased slightly. The breeze had died, and the scent of the wet grounds would sink in for several distances away. He'd be hard to catch, from the dens that lay inland of the border. Although his approach was meant to trigger the scent of only a select few. Who came first would be the only surprise tonight. The charcoal body stepped from the shadows, his saphiric eyes were quick to clench the faemme, the beta, if he had over heard correctly.
"Your the daughter of Leohlic, yes?," the cold low-toned voice of the Second sounded. A small smirk alit his maw"Remember me?"[/glow]

Frodo[/i]: Go back, Sam. I'm going to Mordor alone. Sam[/i]: Of course you are. And I'm coming with you.
Emerald orbs raked the shadows of the beyond. Tassel of auburn twitched as steel grey talons clenched the wet muddy ground. The beta femmora padded a step forward. Head turned to the shadows, her fur hugging her body as the rain continued. The terra smelt damp and musky as she picked out Sapphire eyes gleaming back at her from the darkness.
Gryffin cocked an ear as she stood as the low voice of the Second pierced through the curtain of water and reached the auds of the Femmora. Emerald oculars starred back into pools of Sapphire as she listened to the obsidian brute's lyrics. A grin tugged her lips as the Tri hued she varg's voice escaped into the evening shower. "Yes, I be the daughter of the great Leohlic"
Gryffin watched as the coal hued wolf stalked forward from the shadows. Gryffin took a step to meet him her eyes sharp with curiosity yet it sparked with a flicker of excitement. But with the Second's next question, The tri-coloured she wolf couldn't help but grin. She took a second or two before she answered him, as if studying the brute first. Her emerald eyes watching the night hunter, as her blood tipped ear gave a flick. "Why...did I ever forget? She sung back an eyebrow raised. Her lips pulled into a smirk as her paws took her to the other side of the male.
Emerald jewels watched the balkar he wolf. She remembered him. Ziev, Gryffin thought as she worked the name on her tongue. His first visit here did not come along very well. Her drappa was not too pleased with the brutes presence. And it did not turn out with pleasantries, nor a lovely tea party to boot.
Gryffin licked her chops as her vocals wove through the rain once again. "Your Ziev aren't you? Second of the Balkar." Gryffin gave a chuckle. "Wasn't exactly the life of the party no?" she grinned giving a tilt of her head, referring to his last visit.
Gryffin should have warned her Drappa shouldn't she? That an 'intruder' had made its lovely way into List, and Gryffin wasn't presuming Ziev came over to smell List's flowers, not in the slightest. But as Gryffin thought she didn't have to tell Fiory. Besides, as long as Gryffin could remember, the balkar were allowed to walk anywhere they wanted in List boundaries.
"So brute, what delight have you brought to List today? Surely you're here to give me a little present?" Gryffin spoke as she shook out her fur, sending droplets of water every which way as she laughed "Or is your visit worth some other value? Tell me sir? For I can't seem to find the reason" Gryffin spoke her emerald eye locked in the Balkar Second's Sapphire orbs.
~Daughter of the great Shatocwnn and Leohlic~ ~Sister to Fernlick,Jade,Baleful~ ~Cousin to Shatila,Orion,Denisha~ ~mother of Sora, Aiyu and Arias~ ~Forever Remembering, Lyft, Bila, Mother. Father and Shatila~
The Second smirked slightly, his form continuing to move past the faemme as she came out to greet him, as if to elegantly make himself comfortable. Leaning forward he stole a quick drink of the frigid mountainous waters, the rain replenishing the water taken quite quickly. Lifting his maw, he caught the scents of a handful of newborns, held not to far away from here. He recalled the last visit, bring him to remember that those pups belonged to beta faemme.
The charcoal balkar turned to face the faemme again, now a little more comfortable despite the rain. "Yeah...Not my kind of party really...", sounded the low-toned voice. He brought himself to a rest, sitting down on the frigid ground. He had the patience for what he wanted, and he easily had till daylight. After that, he just had to wait, along side two packs of fearless muscle, ready for the wills of list to break.
Saphiric eyes fixed on the beta faemme, though he was quick to notice a bit of hesitation. Not that she didnt have a reason though. She was a new mother, a beta and a mate. All the reason to want to live. He couldnt change that. He didn't really care about the facts. Yet he knew that she was smarter than to just yell for help like a little whelp, and he admired the connection that Leohlic left behind that made it so much easier.
The Second gave a smile to the faemme, following her flurry of questions to his unwanted presence. "Your so innocent...", He gave a smirk, ignoring her words. "Where's Fiory then?" The balkar changed the topic. He gave a quick glance to the general directions of her dens, where her mate and newborns wait for her, and then glanced back. He did overhear that Fiory's mate had returned after long absence. " She must be happy now, that her mate has returned...", The low voice continued, " Then I guess she isn't around as much as she so formally was..." A smirk alit his maw. He had the patience for what he wanted... [/glow]
Frodo[/i]: Go back, Sam. I'm going to Mordor alone. Sam[/i]: Of course you are. And I'm coming with you.
Gryffin raised her emerald gaze. Her talons scraping the soaked ground as she watched the male, intrigued by his saphiric eyes. She turned her nose upward to watch the cloud covered skies dripping with wet rain. Gryffin smirked, a low chuckle resounding fro mthe depths of her vocals as she heard the balkar's remark. Her eyes turned around from the evening sky and brought it back onto the Second. Gryffin watched as the obsidian male made himself comfortable and she could tell he wasn't about to leave anytime soon. Though the beta found that she didn't mind all to much of the male's sudden company.
The tri toned she wolf stood, her tail prickled in the breeze as she turned her muzzle to look to the whelping den. The same direction she saw Ziev take a glimpse at. Gryffin smirked. Shouldn't the dam be afraid of the night hunter? tracking down her pups. Gryffin just shook out her fur and sat on her haunches giving her front legs a stretch. The pups were fine they were old enough by now to stay by themselves for long periods of time. Gryffin watched him before giving a grin, settling herself in, "The pups have grown since the last time you came" she said casually. "though there is only one son" Gryffin spoke as if she knew her son would enroll in the ranks of the night hunters.
Gryffin licked her lips turning her eyes back to Ziev as she watched the smile tug at the Seconds ebon lips. Gryffin smirked at the male's comment. "pfft. and Your so not hmm" Gryffin teased her tassel giving a swish to the right.
"Fiory? hmm probably by the dens somewhere" Gryffin said. She looked to Ziev and nodded "Bristol has returned yes." Gryffin replied, Lifting an eyebrow to how casual the male had spoken as if they were having an everyday conversation about the little gossips of the packlands. Tail twitched as she gave a small laugh, " I suppose you could say that. I haven't seen Fiory much" Gryffin spoke with a shrug. Gryffin then lifted her eyes to meet the cold saphire gleam of Ziev's. "Well i hear rumors too Zievy" Gryffin said lifting her muzzle, "So I hear Serg hasn't been around much. How does that crown fit hmm?" " she asked with a whimsical smirk, and an eyebrow raised.
(right this succkss i can't pay attention.)

[glow=black,2,1100]The Second was comfortable now, resting on the floor, as the clouds continued their rages, and the darkness of the night sank into the mountains. The water flowed along the charcoal pelt, carving streams along the fur and the sides of his maw, giving the dark pelt a shiny new look, although spoiled without a ray of light to reveal it.
" It fits ever so beautifully, don't you agree?..." Followed the low-toned voice, as the balkar gave an sarcastic elegant look. He hadn't much care for what others said for Serg anymore. As far as the Second is concerned, he is dead, and never to return. And as for himself, he now was at power, First of the Balkar, and Beridian Mann of the Sarnes. With those title came the muscle to gain leadership over the darker half of the valley, and fear of a new god to replace the worthless beloved Tor and Fenris.
Ziev could recall, though, when the faemme's father did rule over List and the Balkar, alongside of his mate, Shatocwnn, one of the darkest faemmes known to the valley. Although, the old was replaced with the new, and in came Bila, another strong, proud drappa of List, who later was slaughtered by warriors and leaders of Koran. Yet, so quickly.... it did all happen, as List did scramble for a new leader. In came Fiory. Alongside Bristol, but that didn't matter too much at the point. What brought the Second so deviously intrested in Fiory's leadership was the 'new' way she chose to be 'neutral'. Neutral? Neutral is nothing. Being on your own side is how you get killed.
The Second was not so please to hear a Nihtgenge speak to him about the Dragga of Ge-Rad calling List to arms in the middle of a heated dispute. The Second was further displeased to see Fiory submitting to the Dragga's pleas just as he arrived. Yet what really questioned Fiory's leadership was the fact that she was so indecisive about something so clear. Sure it was easy to say that she wouldnt know what lies behind the sly personality of the Dragga of Ge-Rad, yet why would you offer the few herla of the mountains to the starved in-bred wolves who have always cheated List. Why be neutral to a pack thats a dedicated enemy of the Balkar, the only former ally of List?
" I remember your father..." The second said casually, bringing his saphiric gaze to the faemmes emerald counterpart. " Never seen another wolf like him, even Serg is far off." Sounded the low toned voice again. " Full blooded balkar, a great leader, between our pack and yours." He left pauses in his speech, making sure the faemme caught every word. "Your mother too, a legend. ", His claws sank into the mud, as extrated his claws and carved the ground in small lines. "Yet, of course, you knew them much better than I did..." The gaze of the Second drifted off to the size, although catching a glimpse of the faemme every now and then. "Having Fiory around, Bristol too, not the same is it? Your father would have really started that party when the Dragga of Ge-Rad showed up." He brought his gaze back, noting a similarity in the appearance of the faemme, towards her mother. " And your mother raised the strongest warriors known to the valley to fight along with your father."
The Second hoped that the faemme caught with his drift of thoughts, yet hoped that she restrained from bringing him offtopic with her innocence and curiousity. "When Bila was killed, when Koran came, she seemed alone at arms, fighting bravely by herself, she hadn't much left to protect her." The Second paused again, his voice still low, yet the cold heart behind them wasn't so audible anymore. "A few list warriors would have prevented the murder." His paws still continued to massacre the top soil. " Even after you lost Bila, all List really has trained to fight, .....is him." Ziev broguth his gaze toward the scent of the new-borns again, where he knew the mate of the faemme rested with his son and daughters. " Fiory hasn't really taken care of the relationship with our pack and yours, has she? And that, should the Dragga of Ge-Rad or the Dragga of Deor fall into list for whats left of the food, he'll be all thats left, and, well, no one's fit to battle a pack, now."
Ziev brought his form from the ground, his gaze fixed on the faemme again. " My pack has warriors fit for a pack. Yet, your drappa doesn't seem to worried about that anymore. Save him, or start forcing another Drappa, someone more traditional..."

Frodo[/i]: Go back, Sam. I'm going to Mordor alone. Sam[/i]: Of course you are. And I'm coming with you.
THe rain fell on in sheets of cold and wet. The beta shookout her fur, that now stood in clump sticking out here and there. Gryffin looked to the Second and snickered at his comment. Though she found it disappointing that Serg had not returned thus yet. So far Gryffin had been in good terms and friendships with the balkar seconds and Firsts, sicne Tamra's time anyways. Would Ziev be just like them or would he prove to be difficult to work along with. Gryffin lifted her gaze back,a blinking of jade as she gave a smirk, "It does suit you well" she replied with a whick of her tassel.
Gryffin watched the cold Second, was he much more then an outer shell of a dark storm and poise of a whicked shadow, or was there much more to the balkarian male then the beta could see? Gryffi nwas deep in thought and it troubled her once again. Her balkar heritage and some of her packmates nervousnous of the balkar. She remembered Drathlic for one who wasn't to sure. Thoguh he was always a timid wolf. Though what stirred Gryffin sometimes was her drappa's despise of the balkar. She had nothing against her drappa, in fact Gryffin loved Fiory as an aunt from growing up with the swift Star gazer, and would probably have done anything for her. Though at Draeg's visit the little inner war between Ziev and the star gazer made Gryffin feel uncomfortable. She was split between her loyalties for her father's balkar heritage and her aunt.
Gryffin lifted her muzzle with a small growl of irritation she shook the droplets that had gathered in her fur. Looking back to Ziev her ears pricked up in interest as he spoke of her father. Ever sicne his death Gryffin had not talked to anyone about him. The pain of the loss was still evidently burried in her insides. Gryffin raised an eyebrow as she took in her words remembering a time when she had held a conversation with Draeg about her father. The she wolf recalled ever so clearly as well a time when Draeg and Leohlic had encountered. Gryffin had nearly ripped the hide off the Ge rad Dragga, no matter how deep their friendship. She recalled the disgust the Dragga held for the balkar and his steep loathe. Gryffin's lips twitched in antagonism for his hate.
But Gryffin returned her attention back on those saphiric eyes. They were alluring against a pelt of livid black. But the fae only nodded. "Yes they were well known weren't they?" Gryffin spoke softly, her voice held a sharp pang of sadness and she didn't feel the need to hide her emotions from Ziev. Gryffin starred into a pool of azure "I do wish that they were still here." Gryffin paused before starring hard at the Second, "hmm... I guess i'll never live up to their title will I? she said with a twitch of her lip. No Gryffin was not whining, the beta would never be caught whining, not like a little sikla.
The beta raised a brow and gave a low chuckle "Nothing ever stays the same" She said though if Ziev had been tentative maybe he could hear just a pinch of scorn and sadness in her oh so 'innocent' words, Ziev wouldn't like her answers but Gryffin did not feel like spewling anything more. "Fiory doesn't like the balkar, i can't change that" Gryffin said with a shrug, "Though she won't go back on my fathers word" she said with a sharp whip of her tail. "I know she won't"
Gryffin shot Ziev a confused look her eyebrow raised as she heard the topic of Bila. This fueled Gryffin's fury for the Koran, how she wouldn't mind grinding the little pelt of that drappa in her teeth. But her attention was refocused on Ziev his words grinding her. Were the words working only as a leash? domesticating Gryffin into his own little world. But the fae was to heated up to mind much. Though after the balkars next words a wave of guilt flushed Gryffin making her send out a soft murr of a whine. "I-I was too young, i didn't know Bila was introuble" she spoke dejectedly. Much to Gryffins knowledge Bila had gone to the Koran by herself and Fiory had gone to retrieve her body. Though she could almost here Ziev's voice in her head telling her to stop making excuses.
Gryffin growled frustrated now, "Well List will be fit with warriors soon." she growled raking the earth with her steel grey talons. "If Ge rad, Deor or the Koran siklas think they can take List down then they have not felt their throat in my jaws." Gryffin snapped, her pupils flashing an angered look as they contracted. She turned her stare away from the Saphire. The femme scoffed "There will be young wolves ready to fight. The winter has been harsh Ziev, though they grind our strength they cannot grind the will of List" Gryffin spoke thoughtfully. Then listened to the balkars next words. Gryffin gave him a cocky stare "Oh you wouldn't leave List in dire death...if that time came...would you?" Gryffin asked, her emerald stare bold.
She took a step back to give the male space to stand as she frowned "Save him?" did he mean Sudak? What did Sudak need of saving? Or did he mean her son? Gryffin took a step now toward the Second her eyes staring straight into his hypnotic eyes, another step forward and the fae would have bumped into the male. Gryffin blinked "What are you going on about Ziev
He was talking in riddles, Gryffin's mind swam with the possibilities of what he was saying, what he wanted to get across to the she wolf but everything that she had came up with were things she dared not share with the pack. And so the young beta stood, her muzzle high as she glared still deep into the depths of those saphiric orbs
(right....just a LITTLE bit long....don't mind the bad spelling, im hungry time for some fetticuni hehe)

[glow=black,2,1100]The charcoal wolf gave a slight chuckle, his gaze falling with a lifeless like motion to the floor. It was unfortunate that the faemme hadn't caught his track, and the Second had begun to second-guess his approach. He brought his form a few steps back, and relaxed his fours the same spot where he lay before, that had been relatively dry from the shelter of his form. His gaze passed the sky, the clouds hindered the reflection of the moon, although it seemed that the night was still young, and that there was plenty of time, before daylight touched the charcoal form.
The second's saphire settled finally, on the faemme, a deep stare began to form, as if the balkar searched the soul. Maybe she was too young, maybe she hadn't had a taste of what Ziev savoured. Yet she was a daughter of a great, mother of three, and beta of many. She had the feeling of being up there, but hadn't an idea it was attainable. What was that expression again? Right, Love, that garbage that affects the committment of these outsiders. She had too much love. For her packmates, for her mate, for her litter and for her lands. Ziev could change that, change it by her own will, or change it by his own force. Ziev had the patience for what he wanted...
" You know," The second paused, his claws met the mud again, although the extracted onyx began to clench the soil much for aggressively, although he was not upset, he became a bit restless on why the faemme seemed so hesistant. " Is it maybe, that you dont trust me, that you are so hesistant?" Perhaps it was her innocence getting to him, yet the riddles to him were clearer without mentioning off the spot, what he wanted. " Since I became the Second of the Balkar, I've made sure that not a single balkar paw with negative intention was to step on the territory of list." It was a known fact, he knew that the food on the mountains had always been scarce. He was from a snowy-realm, permafrost, and that many of the packs suffered from malnutrition, but that was on the otherside of the valley grid. " I made my first visit, strictly to halt the greedy Ge-Rad from taking what's left. And then I left. True to my word." The charcoal wolf knew that she would recall the event. She knew that she had little respect for Ge-Rad and Koran, and he wanted her to realize that. " Your father was the one who trained me. I wouldnt betray him, I know whats mine and what isn't"
The Second gave a bit of a sarcastic smirk, not that he was trying to get hostile, but what was the point discussing anything further, if she would betray him from the start. He needed the confedentiality. He knew that she had it. Yet whether who she would be more loyal to, was something beyond the balkars will to test. " Don't give me the impression that there is no trust. Fiory may not approve of me, but if i lose the trust from Leohlic's bloodline, then I don't have much intrest in List. "
The Second returned his once again drifting gaze to the faemme, a hint of aggression masked behing the saphire. " Already, have i said to much. Promise to me you wont tell a soul. " The balkar clenched his claws again, gripping the faemme's gaze with his, the one growing famous with the rumour said to possess the glare and spirit of the hellborn god Wolfbane. He'd only offer the word of his protection of her pack if she met the terms he wished for her to hear. The Second didnt want her to become scared, just for her trust, and for her to become more calm, and take a few moments to understand the voice of the Second. Only then would he continue with the details of a devious plan. " For, I know a few wolves waiting on a short leash for a meal. "

Frodo[/i]: Go back, Sam. I'm going to Mordor alone. Sam[/i]: Of course you are. And I'm coming with you.
The rain depleted only just as the pair sat. The glowing form of the moon hidden behind the curtain of rain clouds. Tri hued bodice shifted as if trying to escape the small raindrops but still the droplets fell. Emerald pools turned upward to once again stare at the charcoal form. Gryffin blinked, His words were powerful, though he did not frighten Gryffin. She did not fear the night hunter. But she feared of what would become of his words. What would his words turn into? turn her world into? But perhaps what Gryffin felt the most was guilt. The guilt of not becoming what her parents had been.
The emissary growled remembering what List had been. The pack had been powerful. With her parents as the leaders, Bila as the beta. Fiory the storyteller, Lyft the emissary and Bristol a warrior. The original six, was what she had heard Lyft tell her one time. Gryffin shook her muzzle. Then she was born. Her and her litter mates. Gryffin was the oldest yet she felt younger then her brothers and her one single sister. Though that sister, Jade was never seen again. Though Gryffin didn't feel anything for her 'lost' sister. Both Baleful and Fernlick had enrolled into the ranks of the balkar and seemed to have fulfilled their parents destiny. Yet Gryffin... Her emerald eyes turned to her paws, here ears pulled back.
Perhaps her mother had left to early. And her father gone to soon. Tamra as well. What was Gryffin to do? So she turned to her Fire drappa yet too soon was she murdered. Even the agile Lyft had left Gryffin. What was she to do. Gryffin had her path lit up for her. She wanted to be a balkar, though her brothers had taunted her because she couldn't for she was femme. What now? Gryffin lived life on, her chains broken but she was tied to the only home she ever knew, List. The balkar had been home to her, Leohlic...Tamra. But what was she to do now. Without them she was further disconnected from the Night hunter's realm. Though she had Serg, now he had disappeared. Her eyes now turned to view the Second...
Gryffin was stuck on words. How was she to answer the Second when she could not answer her own problems. Wit that she gave a low growl. "Don't question my trust Ziev. Do you think? If I did not trust you, would I be wasting my time here talking to you in the pit of this rain, in the dead of night?" Gryffin ventured her blood tipped ears giving a flick.
The tri hued emissary closed her eyes, tired of thinking for the minute. " What interest did you have of List to begin with" Gryffin countered, her words were tired. Gryffin tried to remember. Remember the days of...greatness. "Maybe its because i have forgotten..."Gryffin whispered. "Forgotten who I am and what had been" she ventured, not completely directing her words to the Second.
Closing her eyes Gryffin felt the rain assaulting her pelt, freezing the spot where it had hit. but her mind was in another land now. The land of memories. There she saw a little Gryffin, stubby paws and legs, hardly able to even stand without falling. There were he siblings too. With Shatocwnn lying with them Leohlic was there too. And he was speaking. But his words Gryffin could not hear, because she could not remember.
Thunder rolled in the distance as Gryffin opened her emerald optics. "The First among the Putnar..." she whispered quietly, her ears pricking as she recited those forgotten words that her father had told them when they were young whelps. "No siklas here, no breathes of fear. to breed the pure we all adhere." Gryffin whispered, her voice escaping her as she now only mouthed the words. She remembered how Fernlick had teased her. Didn't you hear dad Gryff? No siklas here. He doesn't want you here 'I'm not a sikla, I'm gonna be the best there ever was. First among the putnar, first, before you
The flash of lightning and roar of thunder was the only thing that awoken Gryffin from her reminisce. She jolted as she looked to Ziev. Gryffin growled. "Still here?" she said as if hoping he wouldn't comment on her little lapse in time.
Gryffin shook out the wet in her fur but it was no use as the rain continued to swell. Raising an eyebrow she nodded "You have my word." Her emerald orbs were not watching the Second anymore as she spoke, instead they were watching the droplets scarring the earth. The Seconds next words made Gryffin snap back up, her emerald oculars glaring into the Seconds as she took in his threat. But the beta only smirked, her eyes spoke clearly. I dare you

[glow=black,2,1100]The rain now became behind the conscience of the Balkar, as he knew that the mountain climate was rather better change than the desolating humidity of his own territory. The climate recalled his times when he was younger, from the snow-realm of jagged rocks on the opposite side of the mountainous grid. It was almost like the frigid winds and rains made him feel like a young pup again.
" Afraid of a little rain?" The second smirked, before leaning forward and enjoying the cooler waters of list, as the frigid sensation tore through his insides. The hostility of the faemme sounded childish, though it brought him back to the tracks again. Her words seemed to be drowning with exhaustion, meaning less and less resistance to what he said. "List is Leohlic's pack, you know the reason for my best intrest... "
He listened to her drifting, caught up in thought of her parents, yet the balkar paused to, in a faint form of respect for that. You've forgotton entirely... The words crossing his mind, yet none leaving his maw. You've forgotten who your father was, you've forgotten your mother aswell. You've forgotten all of the right reasons... of the purpose for List... to feed the Balkan Machine...one day and the next, always and forever. The thoughts toyed with amusement in his dark mind, on how simply joining list brought debt to your life toward the balkar, but not only that, but obligating your children, and their children, and their children, and so on...
He heard the promising words of trust from the faemme, the auds of the balkan wolf twitched and he brought himself back on tract, smiling at the angered expression on the faemmes facade. " They'll grind your strength, that your high hopes will only get you killed...." The Second began his speach again, refering to Ge-Rad, Koran and Deor. " List is far too small, and young for what it counts. " His saphiric eyes drowned into the emerald ones of the faemme. " And it seems as though your drappa couldn't care a fringe more for me. What reason exactly to do I have to save you from dire death?" The second questioned honestly, it wasn't worth bringing the balkar into a battle that wouldn't reward them like it used to. The Second had a little more common sense for the lives of his wolf than Serg did. " Maybe you have respect for us, that doesnt change anything." The Second smirked.
The seconds gaze drifted again. He knew the faemme would never like his words, and they would be hard for her to accept, but it was the truth. And she knew it well enough. The moon rays were masked by the clouds, although the outline of its reflection could be seen. He paused for a second, before bringing his gaze back to the angered faemme" Your the Daughter of the Balkar." The title ringed his ears, a horrid sound it was, yet it wasn't a literal term. What lied in her past made her a prominant figure, more important that the rest of List as a whole. " Do you know what's written in your blood?" The Second said in cold question, a frigid stare written in his saphiric eyes. A renegade feeling running through his blood, one that he wished to share with List. " List is yours...." The Second spoke in his twisted low toned voice. "All of this, the mountains, everything. It's all yours. To Run and Command." [/glow]
