[glow=Navy,2,300]Wet nares wafted in the familiar air of Ge-Rad, he had been traveling for many moons after finding that the old pack lands were ruined into a dull ash. However the scent of Ge-Rad left a clear trail behind them that was easy enough for the young adult to follow. Creamy paws pressed lightly onto the new found terrain that his pack had settled upon. Auds pressed forward in an eager waiting to hear barks of his mother and father once they saw his the image of his silhouette scale the hill.
The Alpha’s son was returning from a long journey that had taken him several moons to complete, his tail held high as he strode down the melting snow, Fenris’s eye peeking over the Carpathians as dawn approached. His pace quickened with each advancing step and heavy breathing signified his long trip. During his absence in the Ge-Rad the male had joined with a small group of male wolves, they were troublemakers and bad news to the easily influenced mind of a pup. Renik had changed.
Once reaching the bottom of the slope his stride soothed into a lumbering walk, his thick build rippling with each flex of muscle. He was large for his age and wasn’t sure if his own mother would recognize the sight of him. [/glow] [/left]

[glow=silver,2,300]A black head rose, and his nose dilated once, twice. Bryr's eyes widened, silver optics brightening from their nearly death like state.
"Renick?" he wondered aloud. The big male rose, and padded across his pack lands without a sound, his silvery eyes never stopping. He took it all in, the master of all he saw... but all he wanted now was to see the person he did not master... his son.
A faint shape was in his eye, and Bryr's heart lept, and his paws slammed snow as he charged foward. His head was raised, and he knew it, by his heart---It was his son.
"Renick!" The huge ebony Dragga slowed, and stopped in front of his son. He was no longer just a cub.... he was nearly past the cubhood, as Bryr had feared. But... he looked healthy, and he was still his son. "Renick... son... I missed you." He leaned his head against his son's sholder, affectionately, and raised a brow. "Where've you been?" he asked softly, conversationally.[/glow]

[glow=Navy,2,300]At the sight of his father Renik padded toward the large male and gave a dip of his muzzle out of respect. He had not seen this wolf for quite sometime and he looked quite different from the image he had gown to accept in his memories while being absent.
Gently his father pressed against his shoulder, stout legs holding the young male up straight as he felt the weight transfer onto him. Then came the question. Where had he been? Well that wouldn’t be answer. Renik had no problem denying Bryrpaw the true answer, he had been taught how to lie well and there would be no reason for the Dragga to suspect his false retort.
“I was lost after running away Father and couldn’t find my way back until a stranger had helped me. He took me in and nourished me until I was healthy enough to be brought back. It was indeed a long journey.” A coy smile reaped across his maw as he spoke to his father.
Truthfully he had been romping around with a small group of wolves, which caused mischief and havoc to no extent. He had learned their ways and became much like those trouble-some vargs. Sadly Renik was no longer one who could be trusted.
“It is good to see you again but where by chance is Mother?” he questioned eager to see the darling face of the female of Ge-Rad as he stared with a most sincere act. [/glow][/left]

[glow=blue,2,300]A lone bird chirped about, its soft voice a melodious tune that filled the cracks of silence in the Ge rad forests. A lone wolf trekked. She had been away from the Ge Rad lands for a while. Since her mothers dissappearence the she varg had been hiking through the mountain ranges, brooding byherself but now, the drappa had returned.
The day was brisk and the sky was a pale blue overcast with soft clouds, rimmed with gray, but it did not matter. The red wolf paused turned her crimson crown towards the eastern borders of Ge rad. Her stomach growled, pinching at her and telling how hungry she was. Soon, she told herself, soon food will return to the valleys and the wolves will once again have beautiful pelts and full round bellies and new litters would be born.
Kai wagged her tail enthusiastically and continued her stroll when a large shadow zoomed by. Kairi paused again, her head cocked to the side. For a moment there it had seemed like it belonged to her father. Curiosity got the best of her and soon Kai followed. Her paws ran swiftly, kickign up the snow as she followed Bryrpaw. Kai looked up and she saw the hills. Putting on a gallant speed the red wolf brought herself close enough thaqt she heard voices. Kai skidded to a stop, her auds pressed forwards in attaempt to hear what words had been passed. ut Kairi could not hold it in any longer, within a few strides she padded out from the foliage and stood before the two males. Kai cocked her head at the new male. Who was he? Kai frowned but when she heard the word Renik Kai almost fell, "R-renik?" was all she could stutter.[/glow]

[glow=navy,2,0] Talla's heart pounded and her mind raced. Her pads lifting swiftly of the groud and she ran toward a peculiar smell. "could it be? or am i just delusional?" Talla growled to herself under her breath. Talla had just entered the Ge-rad territory form the far south border when the wind changed direction and a scent was brought up to her nose; three of them. She ong became familiar with Bryrpaw's and Kairi's scent, being with them for so long in the ge-rad borders, but it was the third smell that sent her heart racing. Renik's scent was still embedded in the back of her mind, though it was long since he left her den, her life, and left her heart broken. Talla could not help that she felt a little uneasy, her mind battling with what her nose was telling her. She oculd not believe that Renik would turn, and it has been but lately she was quite emotionally unstable. "Why, why now?" The thought couldn't help but hover in talla's mind. Tears began running down form her face as she could she the silouhettes of the three vargs in the distance.
Talla stopped instantly a few tracks away from the three vargs. She felt as though her heart stopped as well when her eyes fell upon the one of her proud son. Like the wind had blown the young Drappa over, her knees seemed to have given out and she fell to the snowy ground. The tears glittering in the moonlight as they feel form her eyes, staining the fur on her face that seemed to be frozen in shock. She opened her trembling maw, but no words came out. She could not understand with all her thoughts why he had finally retured, or why he had left her in the first place. She looked at him still in disbelief, then turned her head away shaking her head. She could finally take in air through her lungs and she spoke softly, "You left Renik, you left me, your father, your family! Why did you do such to us? Once upon a time I had lost my first born child to the world and i was left devistaded. Now he returns...but for what? and is he to leave us once again, break his mother's heart once more!" Talla's voice seemed to growl angrily the more she spoke, but she could not make sense why she was angry. Talla's emotions twirlled inside her, one moment feeling angry, then sad, then grateful. A part of her wanted to leap form her spot and hold her son like she once did when he was just a pup in a den, but her body didnt seem to move from its spot on the chilled ge-rad grounds. She looked at him again with pierces eyes, as though she was looking inside him, to find the reason why everything happened the way they did.[/glow]

[glow=orange,2,300]Bryr looked at his son. "I'm just glad your back. I missed you... I'm afraid you might have come back just in time." Bryr turned slightly, bareing the long, still bleeding gashes on his side. "I don't understand it, but they dont heal. I might.. I mgiht be dieing. I don't know. Don't tell your mother." He heard his mates approach, and turned his black head.
"Talla. Hello." he said, still rather coldly. He had missed her terribly, but he could not allow he to know that. His pride would not let him. "And your mother is right son. None were as devestaed as I though... for it was my fault that you left. Perhaps these wounds do not heal because it is my punishment for treating you so. My son.. the only thing ever wanted.. was to be ther.. while you grew." Tears ran down Bryr's face ,now, and he collapsed, his sides acheing horribly. "Damn."[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,0]Kai blinked her red tassel swishing gently as her eyes darted from father to son. For some odd reason she felt different, the oddball. Kai turned her gaze to stare at the blank white snow. As she heard her father speak with Renik. She growled silently to herself and wished that she had had some special connection with her parents. But no, both her dam and sire were gone. True eading th pack had always kept them on their toes and Kai knew that. She lifted her muzzle, the breeze blowing her way and how ironic was it that now Talla was here. Kai edged upon her heels, deciding if she should leave, but her claws dug deep into the frost as if it were an anchor. Kai turned her silver blue sectacles eyeing Talla. She smiled as she stepped a few feet farther away from the shocked alphas. Kai smiled warmly, "Its great to have you back though Renik, I could use someone to talk to..." Kai whispered, not knowing if any one even heard over Talla's rampaging. Kai raised an eyebrow at Talla as she scolded and barked at his neck. Kai blinked and almost caught herself rollign her eyes. as if a there she goes again kind of thing. Kai sat down stock still and silent. Perhaps she would just stick here to see what else happens. [glow=Navy,2,300]Dying? Renik reared his head back. The thought roughly impacted his mind as his father whispered to him the secret of his near days. What had happened to the Dragga? He inhaled a breath to say what was on his mind but the sounds of another interupted.
Memory had failed him as Kairi entered the area, he did not remember who she was until she nearly collapsed in front of him. With a swing of his tail it all came flooding back and he dipped his muzzle in a gentlemanly gesture to the beautiful fae with suprise in her eyes. But his confident attitude was shattered as his adoring mother made herself know. He melted into a small pup once again, yearning to be by his mother's side. Treasure chest he was, there was only one key that could open the lock to his chained heart and that was his mother. Beyond all things he loved was the Ge-Rad drappa.
Almost breaking down at the sight of his mother in such agonizing tears he gave a studdering breath and passionately whined. Taking a few brisk steps toward the female his ears pinned back and he arched his neck, "Mother," he warmly nuzzled at his matron, he wished for all her pain to go away. So many questions were being thrown at him this moment and all he could think of was, "I never want to hurt you Mother, and i'm sorry for what i have caused you..." He would never lie to her.
Out of the corner of his gaze Renik could see his sister, he wasn't quite sure as to who she really was. Sure he knew he was related to her but what was she like? He had a hard time recollecting things from the past, but a smirk of satisfaction expressed his liking to her when he met her rolling eyes. She could be interesting he thought while nodding his head to her statement. [/left][/glow]

[glow=steelblue,2,300]The sun reflected on the transparent eyes of a young, burly wolf. His thick pelt was brown, and black traced itself upon him in stripes. His large, attentive auds were erect to the sky, and his motion was puppyish and playful. But he looked nervous with excitement as he sniffed the ground, and whines emitted from his muzzle as he paced back and forth, undecided if he should leave or go forward. Finally the big male came to a stop and looked into the spruce trees that spread out before him, and he began to step forth into the land. Rael had been gone from home so long it didn’t seem like a home. The only thing he could remember of Ge-Rad was the soft, smiling face of Talla and the playful figures of his siblings. But most of all he saw his Father.
With their faces fresh in his mind, he began to run through the territory swiftly, coming ever closer to his family.

[glow=navy,2,0]Talla's head felt light, everything that she held inside seem to surface. Talla finally seemed to calm down and embraced her son, tears of happiness now rolling down her eyes to feel her son touch again. Sobbing she whispered over and over, " my son...my child". It was but a great relief to let it all out. For too long had she been bottled up, and a portion of the weight was lifted form her body. She looked at Kairi with her wet spectacles and smiled at her too, her maternal instincts flooding back into her body and she, for the first time in a long time, licked Renik lovingly on the forhead.
But her happiness fled from her as that tone of Bryrpaw's voice registered in her ears. Again with is monotonous tone her heart lurched, feeling cold and distant from Bryrpaw. Another stone that weighed in ehr heart was the one between Bryrpaw and herself. It had been a while since she had retured from running away, but she still did not patch things up with Bryrpaw well. But being just as stubborn as her mate, she but only glanced at him for a second in a cold greeting and turned her head back to her two children. She could not find the power in herself to apologize again for what she had done, though deep down she wanted to embrace him and forget all that had happened. She knew that he was stubborn; she knew that she herself was stubborn but her foolish pride kept her from moving toward the male and letting out that last apology she kept deep within her.
She was about to speak again, when another but-forgotten scent had travelled to their direction. She could not believe once again what she was sensing. Still emotionally tired from gaining back one son, she felt again that heavy weight on her body as Rael began to approach. She shook her head saying aloud, "I've been blessed with two on my children here now oh Tor, have you brought back another that i've missed so much?". It was all just a dream, she thought. Why have the heavens and god brought her sons back to the family?

[glow=silver,2,300]Bryr's nares twitched, a faint scent wafting to his nostrels. "Rael." he wondered aloud. "Have my sons truely come back to me? Both of my boys?" he asked no one. He turned to Talla, and with a soft word he said somthing incredible. "Talla... I'm sorry... for not telling you. I'm dieing. Slowly, but surely. I'm dieing."
He turned away. "I should have said something sooner, but I didn't. I kept thinking that these gashes would stop bleeding... and yet they haven't. Perhaps it is because my family was broken, perhaps not. Maybe I will still die. I don't know." Bryr sighed softly, and raised his head, casting his head back in a deep, gentle call. It was a call to his sons, a faint cry. [/glow]

[glow=Navy,2,300] Steel blues tightly shut as Renik felt his mother’s warmth caress his forehead, falling into a listless state he could drift away after being held by Talla. Gently a tepid tongue slid across the Drappa’s muzzle in an affectionate lick, he loved her more then any other fea he could meet. This feeling he had for his mother was strong and it nearly tempted his hormones, but he also would never act upon her, as the young males from his other pack would have upon any fea.
Her bitter face awoken him from the alluring dream and his maw snapped in her gazes direction, who would cause such a sour expression on a regal wolfess as her? Renik’s own façade drooped to a hardened exterior as his metallic orbs lay upon the Dragga; his father truly seemed cold towards his partner, which angered him deeply.
But yet again his concentration was averted by another presence, which stalked up on them. The son’s nares twitched in curiosity until finally they recognized the scent as one that belonged to his only brother Rael, a kind wolf or at least that’s what he had remembered, much could have changed. A threatening glance displayed Renik’s protective state over his family until he knew Rael had not turned into a blood lusting crazed.
He stalked forward alert and ready, until giving into the passive front that his brother was putting on. If he were to strike Renik would be ready. But an ear-piercing sting punctured the tears and emotions being shown, his father returned to his conversation about dying. Sensing that this was not a good time to stick around the young male glanced a “we should leave” glance at his brother and sister. Haste in movement, he padded away from the area hoping that everything would be resolved, for his mother’s sake. [/left][/glow] ((move to the Luminated Essense shall we?))

[glow=blue,2,300]A ripple formed on the red faes facade as her forehead furrowed. Kai cocked her head as she starred at Renik. Had the young male changed? Kai did not know, but though she stood as quiet as a rock she could feel happiness surge through her wolfen bodice. Never had she felt this way, or if she had, the feeling had long been absent, perhaps for too long. The young femme dipped her muzzle, feeling her tassel swish back and forth automatically. As Kai glanced over to her mother she remembered that expression. She remembered it well. Before all this had happened, she remembered, it was all coming back.
But a disturbance disrupted Kai's happy thoughts. She remembers, the time spent, days ago, months past when they were a happy family. But then when the sun sank below the horizon and rised the next day everything had changed. The family was part no more. Emptyness filled the heart and souls of the young family but know here they were reunited again. Kai only hoped that this time it would last....Kai's auditories folded flat against her crown as she saw the hard expressions on both her parents facades. The essence was cold and brought a gloomy heir. Kai did not like it, but she did not have the voice to change it nor did she have the power to reverse it.
Kai sighed silently to herself, so what if the family was back together? Were they still the same? The same pieces in a puzzle? Or were they now a different piece belonging to their own different puzzle. Kairi paused thinking but then a scent wafted to her nares. A scent that remiinded her once again of her puphood. But Kai could not decifer what. But once her father had mentioned the name, his name Kai remembered. "Rael?" she whispered aloud. Her head turned, her gaze falling onto the young male wolf. How he had grown like Renik had. Different. Kai let out a smile, though she could not hide her happiness, Were the gods finally aiding them? Was the family to be finally brought back together? Kai smiled but then she remembered, Faris. She had also been one of their siblings but where did she go? Though she was adopted she was still a daughter.
Kai raised her dial as the news brought confusion and bitter thoughts. Bryr was dying? No, it could not be. they were finally back together. He could not die! He couldn't die! Kai wanted to say somthing she wanted to curse the gods wanted to scream, to yell but the voice of Renik broke her thoughts. Kai turned and gazed at Renik and then back to Talla and Bryr. She nodded as she eyed their stone cold stares to eachother. Tail curled she padded to the side of Renik, she respected her brothers and followed their orders. Kairi sighed and taking one last glance at her parents she padded a few feet away.[/glow]

Faris was trotting by, following the sent of her family, she wanted to be with them. After a long day of searching for them, she finally came accross a strong sent; they were near. She couldn't help but notice that there was a sent, it was of Ge-Rad, but was somehow unreconizable. She'd never smelled this sent before.
She found a opening, there she could see the shapes of Ge-Rad. She rushed towards them, on her way she noticed that there was someone there that she didn't know. "Hi everyone!" Faris said gleefully and hopped with joy. She glanced over to see the one that she didn't reconize. "Who is this mother? He smells like Ge-Rad but I don't know him." She looked at the other wolf with great confusion
(sorry I didn't get this done sooner)
