Serza padded through the territory in which she had first pressed upon when entering the Transylvanian Valley. Here was where Kanis found her when she was weak and malnourished, once rescuing her from her near death experience she became lovingly attatched the male. He didn't know how fond she was of him but it was there within her. Serza hated herself for putting preasure on the male's old body by accidently summoning wolfbane, she was enraged with how she had acted in the stone castle. It was almost as if Wolfbane himself had used her as a pawn, influencing her thoughts into dark twisted creatures that plummeted her into evil deeds.
She shook her muzzle and continued to travel on, crackling sounds signified the broken animal bones she broke as she stepped through the snow covered barren lands. Her golden eyes shifted toward the sikly looking tree that held the vultures which fed on her living flesh. It was unoccupied now, the vultures had gone for the winter and the district was now cold and empty. Warm tears slid down her fur as she continued to pad, haunting images of the past, the travels she had with Kanis infecting her mind with wonderous thoughts she did not want to recollect on. Why? She questioned herself, she needed guidance, and the single wolf who came to mind was Tamra, Kanis had been fierce enemies with the wolf but yet the First had been so much like him. She need to find the ebon wolf just as much as she needed to find comfort within herself.

Skin and bones rode along the plains that described the OpenNo Mans land to a tee. The pup was naturally quite the skinny one as he roughly made his way through the snow, the cold biting at his fleshy paws that left red tracks in the pure crystals. His appearance was one that most would find unhealthy and fatigued but that simply was the way he looked. Kurtz was a scrawny looking thing, thin and boney but little buldges announced themselves in his thighs and arms. He was a great runner light and quick, but his fur was matted and course looking showing that his diet wasn't one to be idolized. His head continuously dipped toward the earth as holding it high always seemed to trouble him with pain. But his gaze was slowly averted from the icey ground as it met with a black shadow traveling toward him.
The figure was gracefully stumbling through the land and looked as if it was lost within a field of emotions that bothered it to a arritating annoyance. His ears flickered hesitantly backwards and then resumed their forward position, stiff and alert for the pitter patter of footsteps. He haulted in his own travels and stared at the she-varg who seemed to unnotice his presence at the moment. He let out a small rumble to warn her to stay away from him, it wasn't that he was dominant over her but he'd rather not be bothered by any wolf.

Angry golden pigments rose from the blinding snow and rested upon the small figure that was Kurtz giving him a cold stare and not phasing from her lined trot. Pressing forward the female disreguarded his rumbling growl, her thick pads impacting the ground with a hard hit as her chest rose and fell with a heaving breath that fueled the rage that bellowed within her soul.
Closing her eyes she could still invision Wolfbane grasping at the fatherly figure which she admired oh so much. The large male having no opinion but to be swallowed up by the enormous powers. Her yellow orbs flashed as they reopened, flickering inside them were small traces of the Great Lord Wolfbane's evil, it was slowly feeding upon her.
Serza could remember the days when her mother would warn her of the powers of Hatred and how they consume a being whole until nothing is left. But disbelief blinded her and she could not except that fact that she was being torn on the insides.
Fur clashed as the fae's ebon biege legs shoved the pup to the side. The touch screamed at her to awake from her day dreams and she jolted into a fighting stance, her manible snapping a violent warning toward the pup. Gradually she crept up to her normal figure and slinked away, but as she continued her expression softened and she turned her muzzle. Staring at the pup with a sympathetic expression she gestured her apology to him.

The closer she approached the more frantic his head began to bob and his right aud twitched wildly. A whining whimper erupting from his chest cavity as he was shoved into the stainless frost. The snow instantly clung to his puppy fur as he tumbled in it. In a mad panic he reached to his paws and let out a last attempt warning snarl, but the fae just continued to trot. The snarl quieted down whilst she seemed to leave him alone but his attention was caught by her oddity, he cocked his head to the side in curiousity, did she really not see him? Quickly Kurtz sunk into the snow bank as her muzzle turned toward him. It held a sympathetic expression and he reared his head at the attempt of an apology.
The male's twitching ear pulsed under the stress that was occumulating under this circumstance. Trying his best Kurtz burried himself with in the snow doing his best not to mind the stinging sensation that accompanied it. What did she want with him? His patience was now running short and with not wanting to be bothered the varg's temper was being pressed, although just a pup he showed a certain ferocity

Serza's face molded into a quizzical expression as she stared at the lump of snow covered fur on the ground. She had been cruel and mean to the little one and although she was deep in mourning it was no real reason to treat such a pup in that manner. Turning on her heals she trotted back to the mound and lowered her muzzle to the frost, it melted slowly as her warm breath caressed it into its liquid state.
Nudging the pile with her nose she found a patch of silver and nipped at it with ther front teeth. Not trying to harshly bite at the tender flesh but to shake him from his hiding. Instead, however, she choose anothe route and pushed the snow off the top of the mound uncovering the varg beneath it. Once this was accomplished she brought the pup out of the snow hoisting it into the air by carrying him from the scruff.
Gently setting him on the ground she licked his forehead in apology for shoving him while deep in thought. His eyes were a cold blue and held certain cruelity in them. Undoubtibly Serza could feel as if this small cub would succum to the Balkar if they allowed him within their ranks.
Upon thinking of the Night Hunters, Serza sat down and looked back at her meetings with a certain soldier, Serg. He was deffinitly a mysterious one. The fae's focus averted back to the cub curious as to why he was un-adopted.

Serg, leaning low to the erath, had his piercing gaze upon a small scrawny winter's hare. the thing didnt look as if it would serve as a extremely nourishing meal. but it would serve. Serg put another black paw forward, slowing inching himself closer to his prey. but the hare flexed its ears back. nostrils flared and looking as if it was about to bolt. its muscles tensed in its back legs as it readied itself for the flight it could sense was coming. a sixth sense that Serg despised in prey - it always made them so much harder to catch.
the black Night Hunter himself sprung at the hare, jaws wide and ready to envelop the skinny figure of the lera, but it bolted, and readily Serg gave chase. following it's winding and twisting path with earnest. cutting it off from double back on itself afew times before the hare found a rabbit hoe to scurry down. uselessly Serg snapped at the entrance. then, sighing, he picked his dirt-covered maw up and shook the earth away.
it was as if mere thought itself had summoned him; and now his sensitive nose could smell two other vargs. one he recognised, the other he did not. why did he always seem to be running into Serza? slowly he advanced towards the source of the scents, and upon seeig the two he stopped afew metres away. amber eyes watching the scene and the interactions of the faemme and the stranger he did not yet know. his sides heaved in and out rythmically, heart still beating fast from the chase. he sat back slowly on his haunches, curled his black tail about his hind legs. watching without saying a word.

The young male could feel the wet nose panning around for his curled up body in the snow. He remained as still as possible but it was to no avail. Serza had picked him up and set him on the cold plains and began tenderly licking him as if he was her own. With a disgusted grunt Kurtz swatted at the fae's warm muzzle with his paw and gave a small bark after scooting back against the ice. His nose wrinkled and lips curled into the scariest face that a pup could manage, which wasn't to frightening for an adult wolf. He stepped backwards a little more to gain more distance from the she-varg, why couldn't she just leave him alone. Kurtz was one who idolized silence and the quiet. He had never been to rowdy and loud unless threatened by another. But while backing up he caught sight of a black shape sitting in the distance, silently watching. The unkown male causing alarm with in Kurtz to rise. Ears flexed back and he was ready to leave if the need be.

Serza felt the light tap from the cubs paw across her beige maw, she knew he meant that to be more harmful then it was but she didn't want to provoke him into trying anything else. However she felt it was rather rude for the small varg to invoke the right to do that action, although she had roughly shoved her just a few minutes ago her dominant nature shined through and she let out a snarl and gently nipped at his feet hoping he'd get the picture now.
Abruptly the pup seemed to gain an edgey look once he backed from her. Following his gaze by turning her head behind her, she found a familiar frame sitting. Pure snow contrasted his blacken venom as the Balkar gave off a devious look. Flitters of happiness flew in with the flock of burning anger and a smirk wired across her beige maw. Her lignite tail swished in amusement that she had once again ran into this rogue varg.
Serza formally stood on her paws and arched her neck in a mockery bow to the "great" wolf before her. She did not mean to strike any offense just a playful introduction to lighten her sinking mood. Though she kept alert, Balkar had been known to kill other wolves, of course it was uncommon but she had heard these rumors, and Serza did not want to see little Kurtz consumed before her very eyes.

Serg's upper lip curled and a rumblign growl escaped his maw. not sure whether to take the bow as mocking, or for fun, but either way didnt matter really. his growl disappeared into silence, and slowly he stood and and advanced upon the pair. Serza and the pup who looked as if he was ready to flee.
'i dont pick on helpless youngsters pup,' he growled as he neared them both, 'where's the honour in that?' he glanced at Serza, regarding her closely, yet not quite finding the right words to say. it might be viewed as strange that he could find words to say to a total stranger, yet not to this faemme that he already knew. his tail swayed slowly behind him and his amber eyes flitted from Serza, to the pup, then back to Serza again.

Kurtz's fur stood on end as the male grew larger with each step he took to near them. He was a dark black which he thought seemed to demand a certain respect for some reason. But the pup never really liked to much company and the female was already enough for his taste. After hearing Serg speak in a deep voice about how he'd never go after a pup made him feel very inferior. Without thinking Kurtz sprawled his paws out to the furthest point possible and let out a wanna-be imposing snarl. Unfortunate for him what came out was much like a puppy's squeek. Kurtz slowly backed away and turned on his heal to run away. Sure he knew of the possible dangers that lay out in the open-no man's land but he was willing to risk it to get away from the extra wolves that seemed to pester him.

The smile that had etched across her fine lips now diminished into a serious expression. The Balkar's vocals holding an eerie depth of cunning in each word he spoke. Would he truly not kill a pup if he found one alone? A frown of distrust appeared. She wasn't sure why she treated this male so different from the others she had met. The hesitance of speech in Serg's eyes were uncanny to that of her own and strangely she found him rather irritating. Why did she push so hard to keep the barrier between them? the prompt pestered the tip of her tongue to ask but she refrained, watching the mann she pondered about the questions she now had time to think over. Was it because maybe she wasn't so different from him? Maybe she could get along with him more then she would like to admit.
A blink brought her back to a whining pup who shrilled a snarl from his petite throat. Puzzled by what could trouble such a young one, Serza stared blankly at the little one and carefully kept watch as he seemed to challenge Serg's authority. She wasn't certain he knew, but the youth wasn't quite ready to take on a full grown male yet.
A hidden giggle forced a smile onto her face, a smile she had truthfully not shown since Kanis's death. Her ears flexed back in a motherly fashion as she lowered her muzzle to nudge Kurtz but, just as she came in mid movement the pup hurled himself away from the small gathering. Bewilderment settled in as Serza acted on impulse and ran after him. Her muscles pulsed with new found energy from her surge of happiness. Quickly gaining ground on him she easily sped to the front and slid into a blocking wall, bracing for the impact the cub would have against her ribs.

OOC: sorry i aint posted in a while. and sorry its kinda small and crud basically, cant think of anything else to type without typing a load of cefuffle, as my friend so aptly put it.
Serg watched Serza carefully, she didnt say a word, and there was no way the black Balkar could know what she was thinking about his presense ehre at the current time. he tilted his head to the side as Serza ran after the pup to try and stop him from leaving. if the pup wanted to flee, then let him. although at the same time, he and the faemme would be left alone again, finding nothing to say most likely. slowly he picked himself up and started to walk over in the direction of Serza who was bracing herself to be a natural barracade for the running pup.

Hurtling toward the open freedom Kurtz throttled his little body as fast as he could until a massive black wolf barricaded his exit. The pup was no longer amused by this entrapment that Serza intended to keep him in. Angered and tempted to the point of breaking he jumped on her back and fiercely bit down on her ear. With a jolting tug he pulled back to render the flimsy aud from its roots deep within her scalp.
Shaking the lifeless skin within his teeth he dropped it to the floor and dove under her stomach. Racing away from the two he galloped over the plains his plume high in the air with the victory he had won over Serza. Finally he would be alone.
The further he ran the more dark it became, finally tired from the long travel Kurtz reached an odd building of sorts that towered over his puppy like body. It was strange and unlike anything he had previously seen before. His ears cocked forward listening in on any new sound that may come from inside. Abruptly a shattering snap startled the whelp and he jumped but as he did so a colossal pain ripped through his leg. An iron bear trap had ensnarled his left paw and it drove its stakes deep within his skin. Driven mad by pain and anger he gave a loud snarl, which attracted the attention of near by humans.
The humans chuckling in their small find reached down to pick up the pup that struggled to get away from the agonizing trap. Walking inside the large confinement they released the whelp and threw him onto the floor. Kurtz coiled in the corner and bared his small canines and let out an endless amount of irritating barks. The humans after being annoyed with the noise for long enough walked into the cold room and stared down at the pup that took a sudden lunge at their leg. Biting and tearing Kurtz struggled to rip the flesh that adorns the human’s thick legs. Kicking him off the man grabbed the cub and threw him against metal cages that held other animals, at first they had intended to keep Kurtz and train him as a working dog, but like all animals he must be broken in from his wild nature.
Kurtz let out a whine as he impacted the bars and fell to the floor, not quite out of his energy he gave one lasting attempt to frighten the humans and insanely barked. This is where he was taught to be silent. The man jabbed his fist into the young male several times until no longer could Kurtz seem to breathe. He lay on the floor submissively, muscles spazing in his right ear and neck. Now constantly in eternal movement he kept a strict talk that would hopefully pester the humans into letting him go after the men had left him in the dark room.
Later on the men had grown quite tired of the constant barking of this young one and tranquilized him into a deep sleep. They were now going to perform an illegal operation stripping the cub of all vocals for if they wished to keep him they would not be able to tolerate such a noise. Internal corruptions happened in only a few minutes and rendered the cub of his speech capability that night. Silence now enveloped him as he slowly came to.
