TThe snow was fresh and so was the light blue sky that cleared itself of clouds above the forest, large and grand to those who were new - or at least to those who accepted such beauty in life. The few birds that were left flittered back and forth on thier branches, singing merrily to the windless air and to the great sun God Fenris above - but to them who knew, was it another God? Or was it's meaning anything at all? What right minded varg would honestly care?
One such varg wandered between the borders of distant territories, his mind snapping along with his muzzle. His pelt was thick but unkempt and matted, along with that and the crazed look deep within his green/yellow eyes he was a wolf to pass by and wonder - what had ever happened to him in his life?
Sarlic growled and whined and snarled all to himself, muttering and mumbling to voices only he could hear or to the crows and ravens that hopped along his path, taunting and teasing him to play...play the game of chase that everytime he lost to.
One such daring raven cawed and flapped down from a bare branch, pecking menicingly at Salic's pinned back ears and he snarled and yelped in fright, swivelling his entire body round as his hind legs pushed his frail form into the air after the fluttering and cackling raven. Snapping his jaws on nothing but thin air he decended and landed on all fours, stumbling slightly as he lsot balance but picked up his pace and continued forth, muttering and mumbling the way he had always done - he knew no better.
