[glow=red,2,300]*The days began to grow warmer as the days grew longer, and the great sun God Fenris rose high into the sky of his abode to watch over his land and percious vargs below. This day surely was a godsend, for already the snow was beginning to thaw and and instead of savage snow storms, it was rain with less chill and sting...but made the ground soggy and muddy.
Febuary had began and it was the time before Spring, where snow melted, the sun shone and the waters of heaven's broke to pour down on the land and let the rivers flow. Yet of course with rain there also came floods and treacherously swift rivers...but for now, the rains had not come into full glory and the days of sunny snow filled lands with rain showers were all that haunted the wolf's shadows.
The crimson male known as the First of Balkar bounded up the rocky mountain of the Carpathian range with speed and agility, chosin the bare and protruding rocks which had been dried under Fenris' glare. Reading a large outcrop of rock he finally stopped his hike and paced back and forth, scenting the area with his shimmering black nose as he panted heavily. It had been a long time since his last decent meal and now it was the Balkar's time to gorge.
Looking out across the lands, he saw his homelands and territory below, and a great swelling of pride washed over him. Today they would hunt, and today they would be successful. If not, then it may be several more days until their next chance to hunt as a pack.
Throwing back his proud head Leoh parted his maw and let his howl play acorss the lands, calling the Balkar to him, telling them of their duty and urgency to come and hunt...for they would grow strong and feared once more through vargs and lera alike..*[/glow]
