//this is mostly for Tron, but anyone else is welcome to join.//
Snow flurries where gently falling, brining with it the almost unnatural silence that only a midnight snowfall could. The valley of Koran seemed empty and lifeless. Cold wind had ceased to blow, and the very air itself seemed to freeze. The bare, wind-battered branches of trees were silhouetted darkly against gray snow clouds, which seemed to reflect the shine of the newly fallen snow on the ground. Pine trees, forever green with needles until their deaths, reminded any passing Lera of the distant, warm spring.
A dark shape moved closer to the border. Paws, heavy with fatigue, crunched through the softer snow, but treaded lightly when reaching the snow that was packed tightly together. A black nose was lowered, sniffing in a scent, tracking. Bright, glistening eyes, the left a deep amethyst and the right a sinister-looking yellow, scanned the valley that opened up before the creature. She stopped, growled miserably, and sat on her haunches in the white.
The creature was a she-wolf, but, she held none of the pleasant qualities that normal females sported. This one was very unnatural, and a spectator could tell from a distance. She was horribly thin, almost completely wasted away. Her pelt rippled tightly over ribs on her flank. The bones in her haunches and hackles were covered by hard, knotted muscles, gained though the difficult existence of a Kerl. Her fur was crazily disheveled, and colored dark gray and streaked with ashy black, as is it had been singed by fire. The right half of her face was nothing but ugly, pale scar tissue. It made her look all the more horrifying.
This frightening she-varg had met Tron early last summer. Instantly, they had seen how much alike they were, and had struck up a strong friendship. Tron, his pelt stained blue from his incredible journey, had been sent by humans from another time, far in the future, and was seeking help. Together, they had set out on a journey to find the Vale of Shadows and its fortune teller Mayan. Mayan had raised the scarred drappa after she had stumbled into her cave a year before.
She and Tron had gone separate ways on their journey many times, but had always managed to find one another again. But, this time, she had failed to find him, and they were separated for quite some time. Weeks of tracking him had finally brought her here, to the dwelling of a pack. A pack… had he joined them?
Lifting her head, the Kerl called for Larka’s Blessing, but didn’t wait for an answer. She entered Koran’s territory, looking for the source of the scent she had followed for far too long. She would find him, weather or not this pack welcomed her.

[glow=red,2,300]Auds twitched picking up a howl a familiar voice.A grin spread across the varg's navy muzzle it had been so long he actually thought he was dreaming, long ago he had faced the fact that perhaps Anubis thought they should no longer meet up.Tron figured he'd never see her again, the one he called a second mom Cinder.Hearing the Plea for Larka's Blessing made him realize maybe the ashy varg was there in his pack's territory.Interest at it's peak he sleepily inhaled the frigid air through his nostrils there was no doubt she was here.
Swiftly he sprang up onto his feet bounding quickly through the snow. After so long she's here he thought his indigo lips forming a grin. He figured Phantom and Kadin wouldn't mind her coming into their territories even though she hadn't waited for a response.
Violet optics scanned the horizon he say a skinny silhouette. "Cinder"He beamed
He took off as fast as his long legs would allow and electric blue streak against white.
"Cinder"He yipped"Cinder your here oh how I've missed you so" he grinned, quickly springing up in front of her.[/glow]

The wind shifted, and suddenly, the scent of the cub seemed frsher. Cinder's ashed ears pricked at the sound of fammilliar yips. She turned her head, swinging her hideous facade toward the source of the sweet, cheerful sound. An electric-blue streak of lightning was rushing toward her. Cinder grinned broadly, crying out, "Tron!"
They came closer, and the blue cub sprang at her. Cinder let him knock her down, and they fell , together, into the snow. The she-wolf covered him with warm licks from her toungue, overjoyed at seeing him again and knowing that he was safe. Oh, Tor, Wolfbane, Anubis, whoever watches over the land, thank you for letting me find him.
"Tron, Tron, I've missed you so much," she whimpered. Cinder got back to her feet, and smiled down at her beloved friend, her beloved son. "You've grown a bit, I see. And you smell of other vargs, the vargs who layed down these scent marks."
Aha... see? He has abandonded you.
Ignoring Lamia's taunt, she lowered her head and nuzzled him. She still had some things to tell him, something important, but it could wait. She needed to know how Tron was first. "So, you've found a pack? I'm proud of you. Are they treating you well? Are you enjoying yourself here?"

[glow=red,2,300]He yipped happily be covered in licks he seemed to be laughing as much as wolf can.He too was thanking the gods for this blessing of reunion. He shut his muzzle listening to her questions and remarks. Tron nodded slowly having no remark to her first statement at least for a few moments. "Yes I'm sure I do"He muttered making a slight shrugging gesture.
"Yes I have"He nodded once more"Yes they are treating me very well, and I am enjoying myself here as well"He grinned
"Do you need any food?"He asked she looked skinnier than he remembered(Sorry briandead)[/glow]

"That's good to hear. I've been really worried about you..."
Well, she has, anyway. Cinder gave her ears a rough shake, and Lamia's voice vanished like snowflakes on the surface of water. "No, no, I don't need any food-" Liar, just look at yourself! "-but thanks anyway."
Silence descended over them for a moment, and Cinder watched a solitary flake of snow drift down from the heavens and blend into the ground of white below their paws. Her stomach was hurting, and her head throbbed in time with her pulse, making her wimper and twitch her brow. She sighed. "Tron, I have something to tell you. After we were seperated, and I could not find you, I went on ahead to the Vale. Mayan was not there- there was barely a trace of her left. She left a faint scent that was heading toward the mountains, and I tried to follow it, but I lost it. Then I tracked you back here..."
"I looked for her for a long time, Tron." Cinder lowered her battered head in defeat, begining to sway on her paws. Exhaustion was begining to take it's toll on the Kerl. "And I... don't know where she is, why she left again... or if she's coming back."
She was nauseous now. The trees, the snow, Tron- all were swirling around her in, sickening dance. She stood, shakily, and staggered a few steps forward. She didn't get far. All sense of balance left her, and she fell on her side, breathing laboriously, toungue lolling from her mouth.
"I'm...sorry, Tron." Her eyes began to roll back into her head, and the closed as she whispered, breathlessly; "I... failed..."
//eeek, that was a terrible post. Tron, you're welcome to invite anyone else into the thread to help pathetic ol' Cinder. //

A howl, an unknown scent. The Koranian Beta raised her crania to gaze upon the snow-covered terra, watching for someone to respond to the call. But no one answered, the scent seemed slightly stronger. From her little resting place near the borders, she rose. Tall, lean figure set off at a loping pace toward the scent - but her journey was put on hold as another scent began to mingle with the unknown fae's.
Tron. One of her best friends within the Pack, and newly appointed scondary storyteller of Koran seemed to be approaching the fae. Did he know her? The question only fuelled her curiosity about the situation, and so she approached cautiously without making a sound. It wasn't long before the fae could hear voices, and as she peered upon the brindled, skinny wolf, she pitied her. She was just skin and bones. They seemed to know each other well, and just as she was about to make an appearance, the skinny wolf collapsed upon the floor and a sudden rush of urgency flooded the Beta's mind.
Moving forwards at the phenominal and invisible speed known to the Hyucha, she stopped at Tron's side. Saying nothing for now, she examined the state of the skinny, brindle she-varg. Her breathing was laboured, and she could see that her eyes were rolling backwards. The tora-ge female whined in pity and nudged the fae gently on her shoulder to comfort her. Raising her head to take control of the situation, the Beta gazed at Tron through silver-blue spheres.
"Hold on, don't let yourself pass out, keep your eyes on us and try your hardest to stay concious..." A pause, and the fae let a whimper escape her jaws before speaking to the electric blue storyteller. "Tron, I know this isn't really important but who is this and do you know what's happened?"
The urgent tone in the fae's voice had escolated, but she kept calm. She wouldn't let fear take over, she'd play it cool and do this sensibly - otherwise she'd likely get everything terribly wrong. Gazing down upon the almost-aneorexic she-varg she whispered "Just hold on, miss. Just hold on.."

Silence filed the frigid air until she felwl which imeadately grabbed his attention. "Cinder"He yelped. Panik took over thankfully Excerci was there hearing her instructions he nodded in agreement... //Truely a hiorrid post forgive me my muse has left//[/glow]

//sorry for the wait.//
The darkness around her was deeper than any moonless night Cinder had ever experienced. She heard her name called, but the sound, and all other sounds, were distorted and barely audible. Cinder opened her eyes blearily. Her vision was blurry, but she could just make out a smear of blue standing above her. Another blur stood next to it. This one was white, and, except for it's movements and dim stripes of black, blended in perfectly with the snow around them. Was this another varg, streaked just as she was?
Panting, she lifted her head, but found it too heavy to hold up. Her cranium flopped back into the snow, and she groaned. Her stomach, her head- they seemed to be on fire. Again, she glanced up at the two insubstantial figures, keeping her sight on the blue hued form. "Tr...Tron," she breathed, "where...where are you...?"
Whatever answer that was given to her question, Cinder never heard it. She clamped her eyes shut as Lamia's hideous voice filled her ears. Fool! Ugly, pathetic fool! she hissed. By the Lord Wolfbane, I swear to you- if you die, we both die. I'll drag you into the deepest regions of hell with me if you dare to stop breathing, Cinder!
The pain in her head worsened excruciatingly. Cinder parted her jaws, letting out a hellish, wolfish scream. Her legs flailed, claws striking at unseen enemies but touching nothing but air.
//gotta stop here. hope y'all can deal with my craptastic post//

[glow=red,2,300]'Cinder...Cinder"Tron yipped franticly he was rather twitchy...seeming like a little pup unable to contain all it's energy.
He whimpered watching her sudden "fit".
"Excerci my friend.....please go fetch the healer or...please find some one who can help"He whimpered constantly looking from the ashy varg to the ivory striped varg.
An electric blue streak and his attention was back on his "mother'.
"Oh my Tor,Cinder don't do this to me...listen I'm going to die before you,you hear me?...Am I dead I think not so you will keep breathing..."He panted his violet optics wide with horror.
Tron watched thinking desperately of some way to help her. "Don't do this to me Cinder...don't make me relive the memories of losing her..."He whimpered referring to his birth mother.
Whimpering in defeat though he'd done nothing, nothing came to mind to help her.
"Snap out of it,Mom you can make it through this"He whispered.
At that moment he did the worst possible thing when it came to helping, the navy varg froze realizing what had escaped his mouth. When asked who his parents were he would say Cinder was his mother but he had never called her mom to her face. // sorry for the delay I was waiting for Excerci and still would had Cinder not told me you guys were waiting for me to post sorry//[/glow]

The brindled she-varg before her had lifted her head, but failed to sustain the action for long. Her words to Tron were almost inaudible it seemed, even to the acute hearing of the former-Hyucha, but perhaps it was just the worry and fear for the life of this wolf ringing within her ears. And then, a sudden fit and a hellish scream made the Beta wince.
Tron's words made the obsidian-broken female start off in the direction of the dens, but before she reached the tree line, she turned to face the storyteller and the brindled one, Cinder. "There's no time! We'll have to do it ourselves!" The urgency within her voice had reached fever pitch, and the she wolf disappeared into the trees.
She was searching, searching for a few leaves that could ease the pain of Tron's adoptive mother. Everything seemed to pass by as a blur, but eventually the pungent scent of her quarry was evident nearby. Following the scent to it's source, she picked up the stiff, cup shaped leaves. They could carry water to the fae, but there was no time to search for an unfrozen stream, so instead, she scraped them through the snow.
Heading back to the pair, she traveled at high speeds to minimize the time she had taken away from them. When finally within sight, she let out a shrill bark to notify them of her presence. She wasn't a trained healer, but these leaves were also found in her native territory, although scarce, so they were a familiar aid to the Beta. Dropping the leaves beside the brindled she-wolf's crania, she nudged them in front of her so that they lay just in front of her muzzle. "Eat" A simple command, spoken with a tone that best be obeyed for the gravest of reasons.

Voices- she heard them. Some real, some from her memory, and one from the demon within her. Her father, snarling with anger. Dakota, hlost and howling out for her. Amore, too, howling for her to come back. Mayan, gently nudging her away. Lamia, hissing furious, laughing taunts. But through the chaos, one voice stood alone. Tron was screaming her name franctically, worried- calling her 'mother'.
This was what finally penetrated her mind. The intensity of the insubstantail sounds seemed to drop, like when a human turned the volume down on a loud sterio. He stopped thrashing and lay there in the snow, panting and twitching. She felt a light gust of air and a strong scent as the tora gee female dropped from herbs near her head. "Eat." was the command. Withough opening her eyes, Cinder parted her jaws and snaked out her ping toungue. She scooped up the plant, chewed it slowly, and swalloed painfully.
It took a few minutes for the drug to take effect. The searing pain in her head and stomach melted away into a dul, throbbing ache. The world seemed quiter- only Tron and the white female's voices were clear. Lamia gave one last remark before silencing.
"Good, Cinder," she cooed. "You cannot win. As a varg, you are rpoud and strong- you shall always fight to survive, weather or not you want to. And I, too, shall survuve through you, and become stronger."
With a shudder, the brutally scarred Kerl opened one eye, and only by a crack. There we was- her only bind to life- Tron. She drew in a long, shaky breath. With the last of her strength, she hissed out a few words. "...Tron... wh-what..happened...?"
"Shush, my Cinder", Lamia soothed cruelly. "Sleep now..."
Unable to disobey, Cinder's ears drooped. Her eyes slamed shut and she lost conciousness.

"I don't know"He whispered"I really don't"the Young varg whimpered.
He sat down beside her watching her...she's getting worse he thought. She had always talked to this Lamia but he was almost sure he could feel the presence of this varg within Cinder. He felt abit paniced as the scarred she varg fell unconscious.
"Ok"escaped his indigo lips"This is good she needs her rest."He muttered mostly to himself.
Turning he looked back at the "tiger of the arctic".
"Excerci keep an eye on her mmmk?"He asked"I'm going to find at least a rabbit to catch because I don't care what she says, she's starving and I refuse to let her starve"Tron nodded and bolted off an electric blue streak contrasting the white snow.[/glow]
