For once in his life, Abisso was at a loss with himself. Here he was, months ago, pledging his loyalty to his pack. He had told Phantom, their newly dubbed Drappa, that he was to get to know the rest of his pack, and cease his needless wandering. After all, he wanted to be a warrior.
But here he was, some time later, and he still hadn't been able to detect separate Varg by scent. He had found his life as a Kerl since cubhood had planted the wandering gene within him. And yet he kept on coming back, like a lost dog with a tail between his legs.
Ooh, what's wrong Abisso? For the first time in your life, you're actually thinking things over? Perhaps we should applaud you.
However, seconds after that small debate with himself, a tail wagged and his tongue lolled out. Yes! He was going to remain loyal to Koran! After all, because he always returned meant that this place was embedded in his bones as home! Amber eyes sparkled as the large beast rose from his sitting position.
It should have been known he couldn't keep up with this depressed thing for long. He may be adolescent in stage, and possess an adult-ish body (which was still growing, to be noted), his mind was still as though he was a cub. Call it a genetic fluke, perhaps the kid was mental. Brain damage perhaps? Challenged?
No, he just wasn't too keen on the idea of maturing so quickly. What did he have to worry about? Nothing clung to his shoulders like a dead weight. He was a naturally strong Varg, and he had his genetic make-up to thank for that. Part Varg, part husky, and part german shepherd. All three combined were meant to be a pretty powerful beast.
But he had to learn how to put it to use. Which was why he hoped to begin training as a warrior soon.
Hopefully it'll be fun.
