Ebony paws touched the packlands once more, sage green eyes glanced around in wonder, he hadn't been here in such a long time that much about the male had changed. He had grown tired of wandering the lands and decided to return to where he swore loyalty too. Salem had been a wanderer since he was a young cub never staying in once place for very long, that is until now, on his journey he discovered the loneliness of it. The longing of wanting to be around others was too much for the varg, he felt ashamed of his absence though not many knew him, he still felt it.
The black male pushed onward deeper into the land, Fenris sinking further behind the mountains, casting its fiery glow across the sky drowning in pools of reds, oranges, and violet. The stars peeking through already as if they couldn't wait to watch the world below them. His tail flicked back and fourth in rhythm with his body, eyes staring ahead of him, ears perked forward listening for any sign of another varg he never let his guard down while on his journey, but felt relaxed in the familiar territory of Koran.
<<It's been a long time since I've last posted forgive me....just didn't have a muse to work with...I have returned though))

Brown legs stretched out, as he yawned. Takuto was new to Koran but felt right at home when he joined. This was his promise to a friend fulfilled and he didn't mind it. Pack life was interesting in the forest...the pack stayed in one spot unlike his home in the mountains where the packs always traveled. Another yawn escaped the youth's maw before he stood to his full hight, which for a varg cub his age was small but the fullness of his fur made up for it making him look a lot bigger.
Suddenly the Koran youth caught a scent on the breeze and lifted his ebony nose to the air. Curiosity got the best of him and he followed the scent, trotting along he noticed the light was fading and to save himself unnecessary conflict picked up the pace. Something about the scent was familiar and he also detected the faint scent of the pack, the grey and brown varg stopped just a few feet away from where the source of the scent was. Luckily for him, he was downwind from the varg so he could approach undetected until the last possible moment. Not one for being nosy he stepped out from the hiding spot, hoping that this male wasn't aggressive "Greetings stranger" he called out showing he was in no mood for a fight.

<<sorry for the wait Takuto...been a tad busy with school>>
Salem's ebony head turned to the voice, spotting the grey and brown youth "Greetings, I am Salem...a varg of Koran returning home after a long journey" though when he left he was only a year old and now he was just under his second year, and already he was an uncle to a litter born to Deor....yet he hadn't been there for his sister.
This too is what drove him home, a small smile rested on the black males maw as he looked around, then something hit him and he knew the scent of the varg in front of him, it had been a longer time then he'd once thought because the yearling in front of him was the bold cub he'd crossed paths with before "Takuto..." he tilted his head to the side "My my how you've changed I hardly reconized you" <<laaame post>>

<<Dang and here I thought I was caught up on everything>>
Takuto cocked his head to the side...so he was an older member just returning? Explained the Koran scent on him and why it was so faded. Suddenly what the ebony male had said sent the youth whirling into confusion..."He...knows me...how? Takuto had to figure out how this mann knew him. "Yes...that is my name but how do you know me Salem? I'm fairly new to the pack and have only really met two vargs of this pack...you being the third"
He paced trying to think back when he first came into the forest from the mountain "Saaalem....come Takuto think..." his tail twitched and Salem had now left the brown and grey varg in confusion...a deep confusion and it was causing the year olds head to ache with the effort of thinking so long ago "Explain this to me Salem...so my mind can stop hurting" he weakly smiled at the other varg[/font]
