Fenris had risen high, slightly covered by the fluffy white clouds. Its rays shining down on the ground below it. A small wind came through on this day. Though the cold still stayed for the winter. Shining snow was still gathered on the ground. Becoming less visible and letting the ground show. A small lake was visible. Running through the Koran boundaries. A shadow passed over it. A medium sized ebony Varg let her muzzle down an lapped at the water. Slightly thirsty from her run. She raised her muzzle and glanced around the area she was currently in. Her sliver optics watching every movement. Her auds perked, listening. She was here to see someone. Someone that her mother knew.
Silthrim wanted to see Kahuri. Decided, she raised her head to the sky and let loose a howl. Telling Kahuri to come and see her. Asking her. Her tune ended and she lowered her head. Her body was tense. Waiting cautiously. She didn't need nor want to fight. Anyone. Her tail moved slowly from side-to-side. Yet another wait she would have to endure.

The pitter patter of melting snow swirled around the she-wolf's ears as she sloshed through the wet white and brown icy slush. It was an unusually warm day for being in the dead of winter, the fae was slightly relieved. Some of the lera were poking their heads from their dens at the bizarre heat wave. Mice and rabbits scurrying about, the perfect meals for a hungry wolf. One of the drops of water landed on the pelt of the wondering femme. Trickling down to her skin. Emerald eyes turned, looking at the damp spot on her back, but she really did not pay much mind to it. Sighing, Kahuri continued her tek. Suddenly through the trees a howl penetrated the woods. Her auds came up, head cocking to one side. “Who may this be?” She pondered aloud before bounding off towards the cry. Swiftly the blue tinged wolfess came to a small pool that had gathered in the forest, dipping her head she lapped at the crystal cool liquid until content. But as she was going to raise her head she caught sight of a black figure reflected across the small lake. Kahuri stared, the image setting and soon she could make out the fact it was another she-wolf. Quickly her head jerked up. It was a she-cub. //Short, I know.//

She heard her coming. Smelt her. Sensed her. Silthrim's eyes focused on the figure that stood near to her, yet far.... She knew who it was. The one she had been calling for. The Fae was much older than herself, yet still young. She paid barely any mind to the fact of how the older Fae could loom over her. Her piercing silver orbs had a small tint of curiousity to them. She stepped closer to the Varg, her paws hitting the lake disturbed it's peaceful waters. She also paid no mind to this. Her eyes held determination in them. She wanted answers. And right now, she figured the best thing to do would be to get them from this Varg. With just a moments hesitation she spoke.
"Kahuri, am I right?" Were the first words that escaped her. She knew she was. Just a confirming sort of thing was what she was doing. She paused for a few moments before saying something else. Not wanting to overstay her 'welcome' in the Koran boundaries. "You knew my mother and father correct? Midnight and Drake? Do you know what become of them? Or if they are still alive now? Anything?" She questioned, spurring off one question after another. Not once stopping to take a breath. She wanted all of her questions answered. And she wasn't going to postpone them. She wouldn't be happy till she knew what had really become of her parents and why they had left her so swiftly.

Something stirred the blue tinged she-wolf’s eyes as this mystery cub spoke her name. She blinked, her soft emerald optics passing up and down the young femme’s form. “…Yes, that is… my name. How do you know?” There was hesitation in her tone, how did this young stranger know her name? And suddenly it all came together with a sickening sensation in her gut. Drake… Midnight… Father… Mother…? Her mind reeled at the names. Midnight had been her closest friend, a slightly troubled she-wolf. And Drake, but Drake… he was her brother, and enemy. It was he who killed off her entire family. Mother, father and pack.. She didn’t even know until last season, at the end of autumn he came forward. There was almost a fight, she had been blinded in such pain and hate to know that it was her own kin that had done such a thing. Then he took Midnight as a mate. How it happened she didn’t know, but it tore her life and heart apart in confusion. Who was she to trust now? It was when he seemed to be pulling together, and seeing for the first time, even leaving the Balkar Drake suddenly vanished. Kahuri knew, in the pit of her belly what had happened. In despair Midnight went to look for him, she realized it was probably the secret of the life within her belly that drove her. And then, she never returned. Tears brimmed Kahuri’s eyes, falling down her cheeks like little crystals of liquid. “Y-you’re Midnight’s daughter?” She cried, staring at the cub in wonder and disbelief. Her legs felt weak, impossible. It all seemed to wild. Her heart ached once more. Ignoring the feeling that seemed to want to hold her in place Kahuri took a step forward, lowering her head and locking eyes with the youth. Yes. There it was. She could see it now. The resemblances between her dear friend and brother. It struck a great uneasiness in her along with a bizarre delight. The pup’s questions slipped her mind as her tassel began to wag. “Oh Tor, you are her child aren’t you? I can’t believe it! She didn’t even tell me!” Kahuri came closer. “Where have you been all this time?”

The dark Fae watched with silent fascination as Kahuri spoke to her. She paused after asking how how the List member knew her name. She waited for the older Varg to say something more, not wanting to say anything just yet. Kahuri seemed to drift off for a moment before speaking again. Asking if Silthrim was Midnight's daughter. Silthrim's silver orbs brightened at the question. 'She did know them! She knew my mother and father!' Thought the pup eagerly. 'Maybe now I will get some answers... But first I will answer her questions.' Silthrim lowered her head slightly at the question of where she had been....
"I've been....lots of places... Just wandering alone with no company. No family. Waiting to see if my mother or father or even both came to get me.... But that never happened..." The she-wolf trailed off bitterly. She looked to Kahuri with a hint of wonder before turning away. "I was hoping you could help... Tell me what you knew about my parents..." A pleading look flashed across her face as she said this. She had finally found someone who knew them and she wanted to know. Know who they were. What they had done in their pasts. What they were like.... Silthrim's hard resolve had begun to melt away and was barely there now. She just wanted to know....
