((I am sorry. Nothing I can say can justify the way I have treated everyone here with my absence. Again I say I am sorry, and I will try to visit more often))
'Those scents...those magnificent scents. How I long for them, they are near,' a form thought as they paused at the little indentions in the earth, and a smile figured at the maw of the creature. The muscle in the chest feeling lighter as if a great weight had been lifted from her very soul, making her feel as though she knew what the beings of the heaven's experienced when they rode the waves of air currents. And if she was one of these creatures she would have cast her head up and gave a cheerful twittering, like a newly freed bird from the cage.
The little tracks were made of three, three very dear to the wolf's heart. And a larger set of prints belonged to the one that helped give those three blessed ones to her. How her heart had ached with their or more like her absence. She had gone away to collect herself, find out where he loyalties lie, and the morn and reminisce over her late friend. She had found where her loyalty lay, and it was with the one she loved, not with her old pack. It was with this new and most intriguing adventure she had found in the Koran pack. Her family needed her, and even if they did not, she realized she needed them.
The color of her iris changed slightly, not a lighter blue then before and her nose twitched as she took in the scents once more. Her head lifted into a proud stance as did her pose then she lunged forward into the brush. Her paws carried her over logs and over stones, and each muscle rippled elegantly in her slender form. Her run slowed to a graceful trot, because of one reason. The ears atop her head perked forward and to her left at the sound of voices and her brown tail flicked back and forth with a content wag.
But then she paused, unsure of how to present herself. Should she go about this playfully and pounce on her mate. Or should she do the dramatic entrance and run to her mate slow motion calling his name at the top of her lungs. She finally found the right way...and that was she started forward to do. Night Eyes walked through a bush, making herself present to her Snowy on the other side, along with their little ones and instantly was aware of the other wolves around and automatically was unsure of what to do. To them she was a sikla, or at least she thought herself as one, being an outsider to the pack. But she brushed away the thought to greet her family properly. "Snow...Snow I've missed you so much," she spoke softly, her blue eyes shining and there was a simple smile on her face. Her tail wagged in a friendly matter and she looked to each of her pups with a proud, motherly expression.

"Snow...Snow I've missed you so much."
That voice. The familiar, comforting voice, the first voice that she had ever heard. Morrow pricked her ears, her frightened, ridged stance melted away, and she bounded toward the brown varg who held the title of 'Mother'.
She stopped a few feet before Night Eyes, gazing into her mother's eyes, silent and unblinking, as if she was a fortune teller, trying to see into one's mind. Then, she trotted to her, rubbing her muzzle on Night's forelimb affectionately.
"Mama," she whispered, nuzzling her again. This was where she wanted to be, right at her parents' sides.

If wolves could cry, tears of joy and of shame both would have been streaming down. The joy was of seeing her family again, to be there with them to love and protect each member. The shame was created with her own doing, her abandenment of these precious beings in her life. Her eyes followed Morrow as she came forward and she held her gaze when the pup looked into her eyes, and a warmer smile then before crept onto her maw.
"Morrow, my little Morrow," she murmured and nuzzled her pup affectionatly, and gave a loving rumble to show her feelings. She looked to her other children.

//NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! "has aneurysm* YOU're BACK!!!!!!!!! *has another aneurysm* YAYAYYAAAYAYAAYAYAYAYAYAY *has third aneurysm*// A voice. That's all he heard.
The voice of his mate. Now and outsider to the pack, but not to his heart.
As the harmonious notes of her sweet voice radiated in his direction, he stumbled and almost fell to the ground.
All sound was cut off from his mind. All except for that one line, "Snow...Snow I've missed you so much".
For what seemed like hours, her voice replayed in his mind over and over again.
"Snow...Snow I've missed you so much".
Snow looked over to his right. At his side, just a few feet away, padding softly next to him and his pups, it was her! His mate! Night! He wanted to at that very moment just exclaim her name so loud. But nothing came out. He ran over to her so fast. He couldn't wait to feel the warmth of her body against his. Snow bounded up to Night andl icked her muzzle. At last, she was here. To see him! And to see the pups!
He spoke gently to her "Night. I love you. Be with me forever." Her pelt shone in the sunlight. Snow was so glad to see her. An indescribable feeling of joy swept over again. "I love you." he said again. This time nuzzling her softly and kidding playfully.
If he could have, he would have stayed there with her forever. Just in that moment. He would have frozen that minute in time. He would be with her forever. But he turned to his pups and said softly "Kids, i think this is someone you should definetly remember!"

The white femme smiled at the joyful reunion, her heart seeming to crack slightly, there was a touch of sadness, although that was slowly being mended. Shadow Mercury wished that one day, too, someone would care for her as much as Snow and Night Eyes did...

[color=blue[She sat back, silently watchin Nighteyes and Snow come together again. How beautiful it was, they loved each other so much. A smile was set upon her slender maw as she looked on with tender eyes. The Koran pack was coming together again. She shifted her vivid emerald gaze around her. These vargs, they were not just packmates. But her brothers and sisters. These pups were now all their children to care for and protect, to teach. All the thoughts slowly began to nudge away the sorrow of her lost friend Midnight bit by bit. The pain was ebbing away fro her soul, letting go so her heart felt that old light sensation that made her want to soar with the wings of the wind. Chest swelling and smile growing Kahuri felt the sudden feeling to howl. Already it was bubbling up in her throat. Tilting her facade to the sky she let it all pour out through the wild song of the wolf. A recipe of both sorrow and glee. But always free.[/color]

// *stares at Snow while he has multiple aneurysms* Shall I call the hospital, John? //
Morrow whimpered happily as Snow bounded up to Night Eyes. Though she was young, she had an unconscious understanding of love, and she knew that her mother and father shared a love as deep as the sky above her head. It was the same love that linked all of Koran together as a pack, no, a family.
As Kahuri howled,a thrill rose in Morrow's throat. It was an instinctive, indescribable feeling, and it made her feel light as a feather, but heavy and earth-bound at the same time. Lifting her brown-splashed muzzle, Morrow opened her maw and gave it a try. It was a high note, like a baby bird's first chirp, pure and sweet and innocent. The little cub's song was short, and it wasn't long before her voice cracked and it ceased.
She gave a small growl, and trotted foreword a bit, to join the story teller in her song again. She narrowed her eyes in determination, and threw her nose to the heavens. The note was a little stronger this time, but it was still innocent in nature, as a cub's first howls should be.

Golden optics watched the three pups with affection. But her attentino was soon drawn away from the pups to a very familiar scent. Tarkah looked up her eyes blinking as she turned to see a blue tinted she varg. Tail fluttered immediatly as Tarkah trotted a step or too towards Kahuri. THe blue varg had been missing for awhile and Tarkah had wondered and missed her company. But all seemed well now as the storyteller had returned. "Kahuri!" the drappa cried a greeting. Her tail wagging as she touched noses with the fae.
Tarkah was curious as to where the she wolf had gone, but overwhelmed with happiness for the return of both Snow, the pups and Kahuri, everything bothersome was soon forgotten.
Tarkah though, was fond of midnight. The young black she varg had asked Tarkah to grant her permission to leave Koran. Tarkah could not object, she could not lock her vargs in koran if they did not wish to stay. So she let Midnight go, though sad she was thatshe had left. Though Tarkah never knew about her balkar mate, nor about their daughter, or the adult vargs' dissappearence that lured Kahuri to search.
Yet little did Tarkah know, the moment was going to become even brighter. A scent blew fro mthe wind and to Tarkah's nares. A scent of a brown she wolf. Tarkah gasped but she was already too late. For the brown she wolf was already presetn. Her golden eyes fileld with a void of rocognizable happiness. It was Nighteyes!
Tarkah blinked taking a step forward, as she watched the family reunite. Tarkah couldn't hold it in any longer, "Nighteyes!" she howled to the healer. A she wolf she too had missed. But Tarkah stood back now, her eyes warm, and it was true, if a wolf could cry, Tarkah would.
But instead Tarkah, her tail wagging behind her, she sent a happy howl into the air for all to hear. The song melodious as it told of a story. A story of family, forever together, a happy reunion and also of a pack of vargs, that had been seperated....but never apart

Shadow Mercury whined softly and stood up, moving apart from the group. She felt left out since she hardly knew any of these wolves, and she felt so young even with the pups there. The three knew more wolves here than she did. Backing away, she sat quite a distance away, among the trees.

Nodding politely to Kahuri as she made her appearance, Amore prepared to reply to Tarkah before she was swept away with a new scent, one she did not recognise but seemed achingly familiar to the rest of her company bar Scrii. A dark wolf appeared between the trees, faemme by the scent and one who was obviously of familiarity to the Koran. Her words were quiet, yet such love and passion was heard within them, and the pearly Hybrid could not help ut let a smile creep to ehr lips as she realised that it was a reunion between the Healer and his beloved. The sight was indeed beautiful, but Amore refrained from greeting this Nighteyes, not knowing if it were to be anticipated rude or forceful to a pure-blooded Varg - for to a Dog, when a newcomer came it was custom to take in their scent and greet them. Then, if the newcomer was liked by many, they would become one of the 'pack' but if not, then they would be loners, only coming together with the rest in the traces of a sled. For a Varg, it was different, and Amore was very aware that she held no dominance over this stranger, and because of this she did not know how to react. Also, she felt prickles of doubt and uncertainty at the fact that she was of dual heritage, a Hybrid of Varg and Dog. Bad blood to many - an abomination. It was only a few that could see beyond this, many of Koran - which was rapidly expanding before her azure orbs - and of course Drathlic and Cinder, her two greatest friends outside of the Koran, and even Eveline, Sarnes Drappa. Though she was twisted and evil, she had made no comment about Amore heritage and seemed to accept it. A blessing really, for if both Alphas of Koran hated Hybrids, maybe even wish to purge them of the land, then there would be no true safety for the pearly Hybrid when she wandered from her territory.

((*hugs Snow* Yes, I'll try to be on a bit more now. Group hugs for everyone!!! *hugs all*)) Everything happened seemed to fly by as if her world had somehow been spun on its axis by a gargantuan paw, making every minute seem like a second. Around her this was at least, but the one that was locked in her eyes seemed to be coming up at the natural speed of the world, if not slower. Snow's motion toward her seemed like it would last forever, and if she knew that there were not little ones she had to look after she would have wanted it to forever stay this way. His muzzle felt wonderful against her fur and she nuzzled into him as lovingly as she could. Gently she licked his maw, and then nuzzled him again, wanting him to know she was there and would never leave his side again. "I love you too, Snowy, I love you so much," she spoke in a soft voice while her tail wagged behind. Finally time slowed to its natural pace and she looked to each of her pups when Snow addressed her too them. But the call had sounded, first from a pack member who she knew she would come to know, and then from her own little Morrow and her heart filled with pride. Soon faces she recognized and others she did not appeared around the joyous circle some casting their calls into the air. She spotted Tarkah when she heard her name spoken, and witnessed the drappa crying out as well. The voices sounded like a chorus of Archangels to her, so beautiful, simple and each little note told of their ideals and emotions. She had missed this.

Patience heard a familiar voice. Very distant to her. She didn't understand where she had heard it before. Everything was happening way to fast. First she is meeting all of these other wolves and now her father is sharing a passionate embrace with some form of a stranger. Could this fae be my mother?
Patience padded carefully up toward her father with her tail between her legs. She crawled beneath her father's large chest and looked shyly towards the fae thought to be her mother. "M... M.. . Mother?" she asked, studdering. Awaiting an answer, she looked around at everyone else. She wanted to see their reactions. She saw a young white wolf with the strangest feature. One gold eye, and one blue. She seemed lonely. Patience wanted company as she met the fae who was her mother. She nodded carefully toward the pup, inferring that the other pup should come and join. She looked around and saw no parents looking over her. She thought to herself, Maybe she could stay with us! She would love right now to feel the comfort of another pup her own age besides her siblings.

((Are you referring to me? I'm sorry if you weren't!))
Shadow Mercury turned her head to look at a small light-coloured pup, one of the ones who had come with the adult quite a while before. She forced a smile: even those she wasn't practiced in. She hoped she looked convincing enough. Getting up carefully, she slowly walked towards the other pup, wondering if it was she who the pup had actually beckoned.

Beautiful. That was the only word that Kahuri could find to describe this. Yet truly, there was no word that could name the rising of love and trust that drew all the Vargs together now. She felt her heart beating again. The shell of sorrow that had enclose it seemed to melt away. A feeling swelled in her chest, a feeling of such wild glee. Oh how she longed to be a pup again, to be able to pounce and romp with these young ones. Her emerald optics filled with the caressing look that a mother may have. Another generation had come, a new line of of little lives to protect. Stories. Yes, there would be new tales needed. Yet now there was a story unfolding. Through the blue hued fae's eyes there had been many stories. The of of the battle between the packs, the famine, the invasion of humans, the life of a scout, the coming of pups and vanished members uniting with the Koran again, along with the history of each wolf here. A story behind life itself.
Kahuri turned her head. Her eyes catching every expression worn by the ones around her. Such a recipe of happiness, joy and a pinch of sorrow. She knew a long time ago how she was going fight for her pack, even to death. Now the thought came back to her. A family, yes this was a true family, her family. //LOL. Rambling post...//

Tarkah looked over as out of the corner of her eye she saw the small form of Shadow mercury pad away fro mthe group. Tarkah blinked before getting up and padding slowly to the young pup. "What's wrong little one?" Tarkah asked and nuzzling the youth. "Why don't you come join us?" Tarkah suggested, "After all, you're family." she spoke softly. It might have sounded strange though, but as logn as they were in koran, they were a family.
