"Tomorrow sounds great! Breakfast doesn't sound like a bad idea either." His amber eyes shone brightly and his voice was filled with the excitement of finally carrying a title. From now on, he wouldn't just be Kai, he would be a warrior. He imagined telling Dakota next time he saw him that he was now a warrior for Koran. Already Kai was letting his thoughts get ahead of him, he hadn't even started training yet!
He could practically taste the cold morning air on his tongue as he padded back to the cave. Chatting with Tarkah and Kahuri and all the thought of training had worn him out. Laying his head on his paws, he drifted off to sleep and dreamt of the approaching dawn.
((Lame I know...but time had to pass somehow!))

(naww didnt seem lame to me, right so lalalala the night has passed)
Tarkah got up, her golden eyes revealed fromt the nights sleep. Letting out a yawn she padded out from the den and look up into the light dawn sky. The skies glowed light yellow as the sun began to rise slowly, Fenris half was visable on the horizon. Padding out Tarkah looked down to see the grasses sprayed with dew. She dipepd her head and licked the dew off. Looking around she spotted the den that Kai slept in.
Her tail giving a swish she padded over to the den and crept into it. Her golden eyes adjusting to the dim light. She padded over to Kai's sleeping body and nudged him gently with her muzzle, giving his muzzle a lick as she spoke, "Hey Kai, kai, wake up"
She barked nuzzling his neck again to wake him. It was the morning of the black he vargs first training lesson with her and Kahuri.
(lalala bad post)

As he felt a cold nose nidging him in the shoulder, he suddenly remembered what time it was! His eyelids flashed open revealing his twin amber orbs starng directly into the face of Tarkah who gave him a quick lick on the muzzle. "I'm up! Are you ready?!" Within seconds he was on his paws, his black fan of a tail waving wildly behind him as does the banner of soldiers off to battle.
As he pranced out of the cave, he was sure not to make too much noise as he didn't know if the rest of the pack was awake yet. As a Kerl, courtesy was not something he had had to worry about, though he often practiced it anyway. Thoughts raced through his mind a mile a minute as he scanned the area that was the Koran packlands. He wondered where they would begin their training and he looked at Tarkah with a quizzical gaze.

Tarkah grinned as she took a step back away from Kai, her tail gave a swift swish as she watched the black he varg get up. Her lips curled into a grin watchign as he skipped quietly out of the den. giving a soft laugh Tarkah padded after the male, her tail and spirits high.
Golden oculars looked toward the male, surveyign the piece of Koran land that lay before them as well. "Right well, let's go to the clearing by the river, theres enough room for us to practice there" she announced as she met Kai's quizzical glance. Her nose scentign the air she led the way, toward a clearign that was just beyond the row of trees, it was by the river, and also away from the den site.
Tarkah looked over her shoudler as she arrived. Padding over to the river she began to lap at the lush, soft flowimg water, quenchign her thrist. Lifting her head, she licked her lips before turning around to see if Kai had indeed arrived yet.

Eagerly, he bounded along after her, his large paws ripping up the turf as he ran. He couldn’t wait to get started training, and aspired to be the best warrior Koran had ever known. His pink tongue lolled out of his mouth as he panted and lopped along.
By the time he reached the river, he was in need of a drink. Not straying too far from Tarkah, he bowed his head to the crystalline pool and lapped up the refreshing water. Now that they were far enough away from the den, there was no need to try and be quiet or restrain his excitement any further.
Letting out a few short, happy barks, he looked at Tarkah with a beaming face and wide smile. His black fan of a tail waved wildly behind him.
“I’m ready when you are, Tarkah!”

Tarkah looked up from the pool of water and shook out her white coat and turned to face the ebony coloured he varg. Her tail gave several wags before she nodded watchign as the young male drank from thewater before letting out excited barks.
Grinning Tarkah then looked around. "alright first thing's first, let's see what you're able to do." Tarkah spoke her tail raised as she readied herself. "Okay Kai attack me, Tarkah spoke lowering her neck to protect her vulnerable and precious jugular. No matter if this was just a practice battke, it was always important to protect ones self right, or in the extreme cases, it couldmean life or death.
(sorry it sucked. didn't know what else to write)

Was this it? Was he just supposed to run up and attack her? He was sure that was what she meant, besides... if he was doing something wrong she would be sure to alert him, for that was what lessons were all about: learning.
His relaxed position quickly turned into a tense, croutching stance. The smile was wiped from his young face and replaced by a serious look one would expect to see from a pack Dragga. His dark lips curled back into the meanest snarl he could muster. Despite the dangerous expression on his face, he had no intention of actually hurting Tarkah. Only showing her that he was capable of fighting should Koran call on him.
In a streamlike motion, his black body charged towards Tarkah. His long, jet black legs carrying him quickly over the ground and rapidly closing the distance between him and his Drappa. As he rushed towards her, his strong jaws were aimed for her neck.

(muust poost before Kai bites heaad offffffff)
THe streamline drappa bowed her head. Her black ears twitching as her tail flicked, swatting an irritating fly away from her ivory painted pelt. Her hackles raised making herself seem larger then she actually was. Her claws gripped the ground, and her back legs were tensed, ready to jump at any given second.
Her golden eyes locked on the black form before her, and her lips twitched as if she were trying to tease him. Her tail swished liek a metronome and then she watched. Watched as Kai rushed forward to meet her. She lowered her chin, to cover her neck. They were not in a real combat but it was a must to cover you orn neck in battle, well if you wanted to defend yourself that is.
Tarkah tensed as Kai lunged for her throat. At the split second her back legs jumped and she swerved to the left to dodge the attack. Her tail gave a flick. Tarkah landed on her toes, light and muscles ready for thenext attack. "Kai, don't try charging like a made herla. Use tactics!" she hollered as she lowered her muzzle once more, ready for Kai's next move.

What was he thinking, charging forward like an angered bulll? A warrior wouldn't just dive head-first into things. There were aspects other than strength to take into consideration. Tactics... This training was torture on his mind and it seemed as if he'd never get the hang of it. For once, instead of getting depressed and discouraged, he got angry.
Though not blinded by rage, his temper became apparent in his features. His muzzle wrinkled into a ferocious snarl and his amber eyes shone with fury. Despite how malicious he seemed, he was still conscious of Tarkah and how he didn't really wish to hurt her. He would simply have to penetrate her defenses so that he could do damage if he had really wanted to. Kai couldn't remember ever being so angry in his life, though he was sure with time, he would encounter road blocks that would frustrate him and cloud his normally clear thinking.
The space between him and his Drappa was much closer now, as his charge from earlier had brought him in for a close range battle. Taking slow, calculated steps towards his Drappa, his mind whirred with ideas. He began to circle round her much like an entire pack would do for a large prey animal. Finally, after what seemed an eternity, he lunged for Tarkah's throat a second time, though this time, she would have less time to react since he was right in front of her.
At the last minute of his assault, he changed tactics and instead of trying to rip her voicebox out, he tried mauling into her from the other side in an attempt to knock her flat. If he succeeded, he would pin her with his paws, rendering her helpless and vulnerable.

Golden eyes dialated as her tail gave a quick flicker. She felt dainty on her paws as she rolled her weight around on them, makign sure she would be light on her feet and move quickly. Her ear gave another twitch as she watched Kai circle around her. She stayed still, her muzzle covering her throat as she watched the black male. He was beginning to get closer.
So Tarkah took a step back, to give herself room. She saw the evident anger and irritation flustering in the male's pupils, and Tarkah only decided to drive it on, and fuel it with her own menacing snarl. Her nose wrinkling as her black lips curled revealign white inscizors as her pink tongue rolled out and flickered at Kai, as if taunting him. Her tail gave a swish before she barked and Kai drove forward. Tarkah took a step forward to meet him, she knew he was heading toward her throat. If he really wanted to bite her neck then she would instead make him but her muzzle, and when he had grabbed hold of her muzzle, one lifted of her muzzle and she would be in clear view of his throat.
But Kai had decided to change his tactics. Good move the thoughts whirled in the drappas mind. Her paws bounced in the dirt, bringing her back up on light paws as she administered Kai's next move. a blow to her side. Though the drappa's timing was incorrrect and so she stumbled by the blow of his weight. She fell, the male's paws ontop of her as she let herself fall, but twisted herself so she was belly down, yet her neck twisted upwards , its jaws open wide. The male was able to pin her down yes, but the male would have no time to cover his neck, in one struggled reach Tarkah could have clamped her jaws onto the males jugular.

Tarkah had uttered a growl to rival his own and before he knew it, he had her pinned to the ground. But...what was this? His plan had backfired! Tarkah had managed to writh about to a position where she could have ripped out his jugular if she wanted! Whipping his body back with a slight whimper he reeled back onto his hind legs like a stallion and twisted his body in mid air, successfully jumping away to avoid Tarkah's iron jaws.
Landing on all four paws once again, he cursed under his breath.
"I'll never get the hang of this, Tarkah!!!"
It was made obvious by the irritation in his low, growling voice that he was beginning to doubt his abilities as a warrior, and maybe even his place in the Koran pack. Why had he thought he'd make a great warrior, anyhow? Because the pack was in need of them so he thought he'd fill the void? Maybe he was being too hard on himself and expecting results too soon. After all, this was just training and Tarkah wouldn't waste her time on him if she didn't think he was worth it. Right?
Lifting his head again which had drooped with his self-doubt, he offered a half-hearted smile to his Drappa.
"Sorry, Tarkah. I'm sure I just have to try harder."

//I'm back!//
The limpid hued fae watched as Tarkah and Kai padded off towards the river. She faltered in fallowing them though, did she really want to fight? Ever since the fight she had with Drake just the word 'battle' or 'fight' disgusted her, made her want to turn and run.
But this is not a real fight, just training!
She scolded herself mentally before picking herself up and following.
Kahuri arrived just in time to see a very well played attack presented by Kai, counted by Tarkah, but still impressive. She grinned, this young dragga could have some talent besides hunting! Keeping her bright emerald optics upon the two the she-wolf sat, ready to aid if needed.
