The sun had risen but an hour ago, shining through the tree branches and leaves. It looked quite pretty in the woods at the time. Of course, not everyone would actually say such a thing, but Midnight probably would. The nice Midnight that is. Speaking of said Varg, she was once more wandering Koran territory. She had missed this pack. They were like her own family she supposed. She didn't really have much of that anymore. Not that she minded all that much by now - she had gotten over it pretty much after all. At the moment she was looking forward to seeing her dearly missed friend. She was pretty sure she would be excepted back happily and couldn't wait to see the Fae she had come to think of as a sister.
Midnight's pitch black pelt shined a dark blue in the sunlight. Her dark auds twitched as she listened to all of the sounds around. It all sounded quite nice. And for once she wasn't thinking about Drake. Which caused her to be more..... sane to put it lightly. Her tail swished back and forth and she soon found herself by a stream. She lowered her head and lapped up the cold, refreshing water. After a few moments of that she backed away from it slightly and lied down for a slight, hopefully quiet rest. Unless Kahuri decided to show up and yell... things at her. 'Maybe I'll get lucky....' She thought boredly.
//Seems kinda short to me.. Heh. I've risen my standards on posting somehow. I blame Kahuri. //

(well since kahurikins hasnt showed up I shall pop in muaha i beat kahuriii)
A ivory pelted she varg wandered about, her tail swishign this way and that as she soaked in the warm spring rays. Her golden eyes were bright, clear and glistening as she stood in the Koran territory. Her black lips pulling back into a yawn as her pink tongue hung out.
Tarkah shook out her pelt before looking up into the sky. But just then her eyes caught a dark hued form. Tarkah blinked, her tassel quivering as her hackles rose. Her eyes squinted in the sun as she focused her vision on the shape by the stream. It was a ebony wolf, yet her pelt shimmered a midnight blue under the sunlight.
Tarkah growled her pupils contracting. Her scent glands flared as she tried to take in the scent of the strsanger wolf. From here it seemed to be a fae. But it was no use the wind was blowing the wrong way for the drappa. Tarkah flickered her tail and watched her still. She seemed so relaxed. As if she kenw koran. She did not act like those roaming kerls who she hadseen in koran before. Those who were skittish and afraid of lurking. no she seemed right at home. Tarkah blinked and began to slowly slink towards the fea.
She shook her muzzle as she blinked. The fae seemed familiar though. And she knew it had to be somthing to do with her mdinight colour. Tarkah flicked her tail. And made her presence known as she padded up the stream to confront the she wolf "Can I help you?" she spoke, it was not soft and kind nor rash but in a emotionless tone.

//Poor Kahuri - Oh, I don't know if she's told you pplz yet but she is going to Ohio on Sunday for a week. She just told me that today at a 'End of School' party thing.//
Midnight turned her head to look at the Fae that had spoken to her in such a tone - so void of emotion. She couldn't help the look of slight mirth and happiness as she saw who it was exactly. Oh, she recognized the ivory she-wolf. How could she not? She was the Drappa of the pack after all and she had already had the pleasentries of meeting her before. The ebony Varg wasn't very surprised by the fact that Tarkah didn't recognize her - not at all. She would just have to refreshen her memory was all.
"Well, don't I feel loved? Now don't tell me you can't recognize the Scout of your pack that used to be here so long ago? I do believe I was missed. At least, I hope I was." She answered, mirth still dancing in her blue/red optics. She rose from her position on the ground and stretched her tired, stiff limbs. She kept herself from letting lose a yawn and stuck with sitting on her hind legs instead. Her tail curled around her hind legs. She knew the way she was acting and how she looked would probably help the ivory colored Fae in front of her recognize her, but she would probably end up saying more anyway. Midnight, that is.
"I see nothing has really changed since I left..." She muttered partly to herself. She wasn't ignoring the Drappa so to speak, she knew better then to do that. She was more or less just stating something to help with the silence. She never was one for silence. Well, at certain times she was okay with it, but this was certainly not one of those times. Yes. Most certainly not one of those times.

Tarkah cocked an ear, her tail raised as it swished to the side. Her eyes traveled over to the saphire orbs of the she wolf. And then to her midnight coloured fur. wait...Midnight Tarkah's tail gave ecstatic wags but then she stopped. As she heard the blue-black fae's words. THe drappa grinned and decided to play along with her game.
"Yes we all need a little bit of loving don't we? Yet, remember my scout I do not. I have had many scouts and well, none of them really stand out to me. Yet recognize? No you don't seem to be any wolf I remember. " Tarkah grinned, the drappa was lying. Her golden oculars watched as the she wolf got up to stretch her limbs. The drappa raised her muzzle and stepped a step toward the midnight she varg.
"Though I have to say. I do remember on scout in particular..." Tarkah began. "But I'm sure she doesn't remember Koran anymore, more or less miss it" Tarkah said playign a sigh.
Tarkah walked up to Midnight her tail wagging as her devious twinkle faded in her eyes to be replaced by a warm smile. "You've been missed Midnight" she spoke softly and with a playful growl she bumped her muzzle against the blue fae's.
The drappa whined " And i thought you weren't coming back!" she spoke. Her tail beginning to wag as she nuzzled her long time packmate.
She remembered when Midnight came to her, asking for the permission to leave Koran. Tarkah could not hold her back. obviously, no matter the fact that she did not want Midnight to leave. She did not hold the power to restrain a wolf. Tarkah smiled. But she was back now. "Well, maybe Koran held its breath, for your return" she jibed with a twinkle and a smile.

It was strange to the azure orbs to see Tarkah so happy. Usually when Amore was around, the Drappa seemed to be hiding something, a disgust or mistrust or both, and no matter how much she tried to hide it, Amore had gotten used to finding hidden feelings such as the ones Tarkah felt that were directed at her. Of course, to many it would seem natural to hate a Hybrid, seeing them as abominations, the spawn of a stupid Varg and pathetic slave of a hound. And Amore was just that - the only live Daughter of the great Arctic Dragga, Cabbron, and the sweet gentle husky, Perra - a Hybrid and proud of it. Amore had not been with the Koran for very long, since the early times of the previous Winter, and her reception had been a frosty one. Upon her first pawsteps into the terra she was threatened by the Co. Dragga, Kadin. Things had gotten better when Zhentee silenced Kadin, for though he was not as high in rank the old Varg was the oldest and possibly wisest Member of the Pack. He had once ruled over Ge-Rad when Tarkah was still a cub and his magnificent age did not seem to deteriorate him. Phantom, the Co. Drappa, had also come, and her pleasant nature was apprent when she smiled at Amore had asked her politely her buissness. Only Tarkah's appearance had put a damper on the mood. The Drappa and the Hybrid had met before a week ago in the corridors of the Castle, accompanied by the Dragga of Sarnes, Serg, and a small grey cub who had not given a name. All three had openly despised Amore. It was with great reluctance that Tarkah finally accepted Amore into the Koran, but it was still blatant she did not trust her.
Advancing toward the ebony and the ivory faemme, Amore dipped ehr head low in a submissive greeting, hiding ehr emotions from their eyes. In the sunlight, her abnormalities were even more obvious. The white fae was smaller and far more slender than the average Varg, her anatomy built for speed and agility, not brute strength. Though she did gain a thick pelt from her Father and endurance from both parents, Amore had no wish to fight or scout or spy, her gentle nature yearned to heal, to ease others' pain. And her soulful azure eyes seemed to reflect this, odd as they were.
"Greetings Tarkah," Amore growled softly, looking up at her Drappa, then turning ehr attention to the stranger. From the way the pair ahd greeted each other it was obvious that this faemme had been a previous Packmate. "I can tell that you were once part of the Koran. I am Amore, one of the newer Packmates, and I welcome you back even if I do not know your name." Breaking off, Amore looked away, embarassed in case she had overstepped her place.

~THIS IS KAHRUI!~
I have been mourning over your death for so long. Yet here you come, alive. Kahuri watched from a clump of brush as the Koran gathered around the black figure of her dear Friend Midnight. Ashamed she was for believing her gone. Guilty for giving up on her so soon. Does she know about Drake? Her mind raced at the thought. Did the former scout know if he lived or not? Tat thought of him still alive sent a fer coursing through her, yet it bubbled down as the blue stained Fae stepped into view.
"Midnight. Thank Tor you are alive."
She walked up slowly, almost cautiously as if her dear friend would vanish and it would all turn out to be a dream. Closer and closer but the illusion was finally made real. A puff of air rushed from Kahuri's muzzle, a sigh of relief. For so long I have waited and worried. Pausing for a moment she shook her head. What was she doing? Midnight had just come back from the dead! With a sudden yip the limpid varg raced forward, rushing to Midnight. Staring deep into those deep navy optics she whispered. "Will it be like old times now?"
