Ebony auds were perked, straining forward as Midnight crept a long the forest floor. Her paws finding their way past the brambles and trees silently as she padded forward. Her navy eyes darted from one shadow to another as she scouted the out skirts of the Koran territory. The moon light suddenly flickered out, leaving her in darkness. But the she-wolf did not care, her night sight was strong and in truth she enjoyed the dark. Her pitch black pelt, from hence she got her name, blended with the shadow until she seemed to be part of it all. However as she traveled on she became alert of the sheer silence, not even at night the world was quiet, at least not like this. Midnight’s senses tingled, something was out there. Swiftly she lowered herself closer to the earth, now creeping only inched from the ground. Taking even more care of where she placed her paws. Above the clouds thinned once more, opening up to the crescent moon, a sliver of silver in the deep blue depths. The stars winked, like diamonds in the sky. It was truly a beautiful night, seeming almost impossible for anything to be amidst. Yet a little to innocent to be sure...
A gentle guest fingered with the ebony fur that covered the she-Varg’s body. Apon it a flow smells drifted into her flared nostrils. The dampness of possible rain, decaying leaves and something else. Midnight growled deep in her throat, something was here But she could not yet tell what. More caution made her steps even more silent, no longer did the muffled sounds of her paws be heard. Suddenly a moement caught her eye, the pools of pale light lit down on a beast. Immeadiatly she knew it did not belong here. She made her way quickly towards the inturder. Her muzzle wrinkled into a snarl. The creature stopped, sitting, then howled. Right then her heart lurched and the growl was wiped from her face. Drake!
