Midnight sprinted through the thick, yet quiet forest. Her dark blue orbs darting back and forth across to the trees going by on either side of her. Her ears spun this way and that, trying to detect a sudden noise in all the quiet. She came to a stop near a river and padded over to the to it. She put her head down and started lapping at the pure water. Quenching her thirst.
As she finished she heard a small rustle in the bushes and a squirrel ran by her. Midnight shook her head slightly and decided to see if she could find a rabbit or something to have before she headed back to the pack. She took off through the forest again, keeping alert for any sounds that were made.
Midnight stopped as she heard the crackling of leaves to her right. She moved slowly to where the noise was made and crouched low to the ground. She peered through the bushes and saw a small white rabbit nibbling on something. She waited till the right moment and pounced on the small creature. She bit it swiftly on the neck. Killing it instantly. She tore at her kill and ate what meat there was.

The scent of fresh blood filled Kahuri's nostrils. The faint sound of crunching bones reached her auds. She raised her muzzle to the air, perking her ears. The fae's jaws dribbled at the bitter sweet smell. Without a thought she padded forward, through the darkness of night her eyes trained out the outline of a wolf. Its head was down and tearing are what she guess the unfortunate animal that had become its prey. Kahuri's muscles tensed slightly, cautiously the young femme approached. However she relaxed at sight of who it was. "Midnight..." She whispered, her tail swaying slightly. A smiled danced across her lips; "Nice to see you my friend." It was true she had not seen the ebony wolf in quite a while. She saw the ebony Varg's dep navy eyes flashing through the dark. Faint memories trailed through Kahuri's mind. She knew that when angered Midnight could turn into a true killing beast. A shudder tingled down her spine at the thoughts of past events.

Midnight's gaze met Kahuri's. "Hello my dear friend. How have you been?" she asked, blood of her kill still covering her muzzle. Her dark blue optics reflecting some of the moonlight as a slight breeze blew. It had been quite a while since she had seen any friends of hers or her mate. Midnight looked down at what meat was left and pushed it over to Kahuri, offering her some of the kill. She wondered what Kahuri was doing out this late anyway and decided to ask after she was answered.

Through the dense underbrush crept a white figure. Two oculars of gold glowed in the dark foliage as it reflected the moon's pale light. Leaves rustled as the ivory form made its way towards a hill. Paws brought forth as its speed increased to a steady trot. Feet danced as if it hardly touched the hard earthen floors.
Tarkah banked to the side, her tail raised like a flag as she sprang up the grassy hills. Senses acute as ears flickered in the wind. Nose upturned as her nasal's took in the many scents that filled the breezes of Koran.
The scent of a fresh kill caught the attentino of the ivory drappa. Tail flickered as she looked down into the valley of her homelands. A proud grin on her lips as her tail swished. Her eyes then travelled to the dens where most of the pack memebrs were fast asleep, even her mate. Tarkah let out a low growl and whined. She was still to stuborn to accept him back fully.
Tarkah brought her gaze to the night skies. The femme had always adored the night, its wonders and its ebon beauty. Tarkah closed her eyes lettign the night air wash over her tired bodice. Without thinking Tarkah lifted her muzzle and her lips cracked to release a soft and melodic song that rang throughout their territory. It was a song of joy,, of pride and just for the sake of singing.
Tarkah slowled ended her song and brought her muzle down. Before long Tarkah began to descend from her hiltop view and began to move through the forests once again, the scent of fresh kill still in the air. But Tarkah just ignored the lustful scent for the wolf was already full from a previous kill. Though curiosity lingered about as Tarkah perked her ears to voices in the distance. Swift and silent paws brought her towards two forms in the dead of night. Tarkah smiled as she recognized the two faes. "Midnight..Kahuri" she whispered and nuzzled both in greeting. Tail swished as the ivory drappa slumped to the ground onto her side, her gaze lifting to the night skies, "Beautiful night isnt it?"

In response the ebony she-wolf lowered her muzzle in respect. Midnight reluctantly licked the blood from her muzzle in an almost embarrased sort of way. Her tail twitched in a faint wag, a smile curled across her lips. "Yes, a very fine night, perfect for hunting." She added in a slightly playful tone. The black Varg turned her eyes to the white specked skies above her. The faint light of the moon and stars glowed around her, the silver light hueing the edges of her fur a pale white. "A very fine nigh indeed." She whispered with a nod. Her thoughts traveled through the navy skies and to the lands of the Night Hunters. Where her mate roamed. Drake. She looked around her with an almost guilty look. She has kept this secret, even from her closest friend, even from the very Drappa of the pack. Something twitched in the she-wolf's gut, she felt shame, but the thought of the ash hued Varg a warmth spread through her heart and soul, passing lie a blanket through her legs and tingling down into her paws. Love was a new feeling for her, atleast this type.
