[glow=black,1,300] As if taking a breath where all muscles in the body shifted within the flimsy skin, mother earth curled her soft soil into a gathering mound in the middle of the Koran territory. The shimmering moon rose to its peek as the pile of Earthly substances expanded in size, light gradually cascaded down along the ground until finally striking at the small lump. Almost instantly the accumulating landscape flexed and trickled away as if a powerful force was vanquishing it from what it seemed to cover. A small animal pushed its way thru the terra, a moving creature now being birthed from Earth itself slowly transpired from its protective confinement.
A tiny grey body stumbled its way out of the mound and onto the grass into Tor’s shine. Its paws were steady and strong for being a new born, legs of a dim day that faded into darkness held her position, focused in doing its job as if it had been working muscles many moons before this birth. Slits of a glassy membrane unleashed their sight into the moon goddess’s gaze, their color mimicking that of her brilliant pale blue lighting, blind they were yet so wise in direction.
Two ears that held a darker shade of grey twitched coldly from the night’s air, the rest of her petite body then felt the chills and coiled into a ball of fur. A pitchy whine echoed slightly through the canopy of large Koran trees, a call that beckoned for assistance and aid. But as it chimed the plant life rustled with an excited sway as a warm gust came rushing from an unknown jet stream. The current whipped around the newborn and mantled her like a blanket, the Zephyr’s had responded to the calling of their master.[/glow]

Gallant paws sweeped the Koran grounds. The thin slush of snow that still clung to the terra splashed all around as the paws hit it at full force. splash splash thump went the rhythmic poundings of the creatures feet. The night air smelt crisp and soothing though the damp smelt of wet wood and bark was not as glorifying. Paws sowed down as the creature stepped away from the curtain of shadow and into the beam of blue-white moonlight. A wolf stood. As old as she thought herself to be. One of her legs were bad and she hardly used it as she turned her gallop into a slow walk, favourign her bad limb. Her black tipped ears twitched focusing on the distant sounds that would be played during the lively spring nights nowadays.
Her wet black nose was lifted into the air scenting, explorign the many aromas that lay uponthe koran atmosphere. Noting nothing she walked on. A small wolf she was also arctic and she held her poise like the drappa she was.
Tarkah was her name. The ivory femmora ducked her head low avoiding a low hanging branch. On she padded the midnight stroll relaxing and clearing her mind a bit. Tarkah stopped though. Her talons dug into the fresh mud. Her white paws now gloved a dirty brown and her underbelly splashed with melted snow and ice. Tarkah cocked her head and found herself staring at a mound. It didn't look to unusual.Probably made by a mole or one of those pesky badgers that planted themselves on Koran soil, not caring the least bit to whose terrioty they were intruding. Tarkah blinked she had noticed somthing....moving? Flabbergasted Tarkah began to approach the mound, slowly her paws fell into the mud like suction cups as she came, nearer nearer and then she saw them.....

[glow=black,1,300]The silvered head turned slowly to the sounds of large paws hitting the slushy earth. Pale blues watched them slide into the earth in which they were brought up from. The pup remained still and vigil, who was this stranger that now stumbled upon her newborn presence? However, the feeling that pitted within her stomach was not one of fright, after gazing at this varg she felt a surge of longing to speak to her, a yearn to nuzzle and greet, a mantle of security rested gently upon her small body. This varg before her could not mean any danger if these feelings were stirring within, but the question that now baffled the pup was, why? The gentle wind curled its away around the un-named mass of fur and blew its gust softly against her back as if urging her to advance forward. But she was frozen in her position and only looked back as more movement came from the ground.[/glow]
[glow=white,1,300]Out of the heap of earth came another figure, black and dark this one was. Her eyes showing a deep red of hatred and fury as she stepped out away from the mud. Once again this newborn was sturdy on her paws, yet her walk was not confident, it was a mingle between fear and anger while she made her way to her sister. Twins these two pups were yet complete opposites not only in personality but in coloration as well, a yin and yang from one soul who has long since past away. Tenderly she licked her sister on the ear and gradually turned to face the Koran Drappa, the same feelings passing through the young ebon as did the first pup. [/glow][/b]

The agile drappa stepped closer, her head lowering as she stood only a few feet away from the mound. From it Tarkah could just make out to a mass of black and white fur. Tarkah cocked her head, her ears folded back and nose twitching as she scented the ball of fluff. Curiosity and bewilderment clashed as Tarkah raised an eyebrow.
THe white varg frowned just as the white part of the ball moved and seperated heself from the rest. It had looked at
Tarkah with eyes of unknowing aswell. Tarkah's eyes widened it was a wolf newborn. Tarkah bent her muzzle lower still when the black mass shifted revealing yet another newborn. Her eyes took on a steely pride as it cuddled with its pair. How in Tor had these pups found their way into Koran lands?
Tarkah blinked genlty nudging them with the tip of her muzzle. The scent on them was distant and faint. They smelt like the spring lands and the earth around them and they also smelt like the Zephyrs.

[glow=black,1,300] Dark wet nostrils lowered gently to that of a whelp of silver and ebon, the nares twitching with efforts to read their strange scents of zephyrs and earth. Taking a step forward a flocculation of bravery washing over the young one’s mind, the ash hued pup stepped forward, her nose pulsating with a strange sensation as she pressed against Tarkah’s muzzle. Closing her windows of light blue a feeling of trust overcame all senses, it was warm and welcoming to the newborn that hadn’t anyone in the world except her sister that stood ever closely beside her. Fragments of a forgotten memory swept along the fine nerves of her well working brain, making unique connections to the varg before her. As their noses touched the wind swirled around the Drappa’s ears whispering her name in a familiar voice that Tarkah would know very well. The voice was that of Zephyr her old Drappa and dear mother-like friend. It softly caressed her auds with a caring melody of wisps that faded only as the pup pulled from the adult arctic. Re-opening her eyes she gazed strangely at the wolf, why had she received such an unfamiliar reaction within from her?[/glow]
[glow=white,1,300]Fiery eyes watched attentively as her sister advanced towards the high aired Drappa. Ears pressed back in with fear for her beloved ones safety. Although deep within a sense of tranquility tapped only while in the presence of Tarkah, she still could not help but worry. A yelp sounded from the small ones maw it slowly lowered in tone to a snarl, she was constantly living in a world of fear and anger, and already was this burden taking its toll. [/glow][/b]

Tarkah cocked her head as as the silver coated she-pup came up and pressed her muzzle against her own ivory one. Tarkah observed the silver pup. Her ears were painted a darker hue and so were stockings that covered her short legs. But Tarkah blinked transfixed at the silver pup. An odd familiarity was abroad but Tarkah could not make it clear as to what the pup reminded her of. As if on cue the lgith breeze swept, ruffling the ends of Tarkah's hairs. As it past her eardrums it seemed to almost speak. Tarkah listened though she could not make out what the voice was, if it was even a voice at all.
As the silver she pup stepped back Tarkah turned to fidn the dark hued one, a snarl upon her jowls. Tarkah whined and licked the her. She held a headstrong attitude as if almost an anger alive in her eyes. Tarkah suddenly felt an odd feeling. One she was not too familiar with but one that she knew and kept. A motherly instinct it was to protect her pups and care for them. But these werent even her own pups when many other femmoras would ignore abandoned pups alone. But Tarkah felt aconnnection.
Tarkah smiled a proud look in her eyes as she bent down nuzzlign both pups as if by doign so, they were now her own. Tarkah growled softly showing tenderness but she bbreathed out suddenly and deeply, "You two need names." Tarkah said suddenly. She eyed the dark hued one first and smiled, "I know exactly what to name you. You will be Satir" Tarkah dubbed her tail swishing delicatly. She moved her gaze over to the light female. "Hmm now what about you." Tarkah was at a loss. Tarkah shrugged, "I dont know yet"
Tarkah thought for a moment and sighed as another breeze swiped past her. "Don't worry Zephyr, I'll find a name" Tarkah said but paused. She looked to the pup. "Zephyr... Yes that'll be your name. Zephyr." Tarkah smiled and licked the pups remember her great drappa and the wolf that was like her mother.
