Sound the bugle now, play it just for me, I've got nothing left just an empty heart.... I'm a soldier wounded so I must give up the fight. there's nothing more for me, lead me away, or leave me lying here.
The cold wind blew, wiping the drappa in the facade. She looked tired, she looked old as she lay slumped over upon a ridge. Her ears were folded back against her crown as she looked over the Koran lands. And sighed, the land around her seeming to sigh along with her. As she thought. How she the world was never fair. Tarkah sighed, the night air wafting around her. She looked up at the twinkling lights and a wolf came to her train of thought. She growled wanting to forget him. She wanted to be rid of her pain and now she was free. . She had erased the memories that were dear to her but as she looekd up upon the twinkling stars that night she wanted to relive her memories once more. But she had taken so long to remove them, why now? Why bring back pain? Yet Tarkah could not remember. She looked up, was Andre really up there? Tarkah whined but then a bright star caught her glance, it rocketed through the sky as it descended. A falling star. Tarkah closed her eyes and held her breath. She felt the sudden breeze hit her moving her fur about and wakign her up.
Then from on high - somewhere in the distance
There's a voice that calls - remember who you are
If you lose yourself - your courage soon will follow
Tarkah opened her eyes a smile on her maw. She turned finally at rest within herself. She was Tarkah, Drappa of Koran. The varg who had gotten her heart stolen by a red wolf, and will never give it back. Turning the white wolf descended from the ridge her mind calm and her eyes burned bright as it reflected the image of sparkling lights from above. So Andre was up there? Tarkah could only assume but she had to stop thinking about him, she told herself. But then his scent wafted, so crisp so clear. Tarkah coughed. "augh, don't tell me, another illusion." Tarkah said and continued walking but the scent did not rid as the drappa stopped. She murmered looking up at the stars. And then to the horizon. She took a step back, no she had put everything in the past, put it all behind her, she could not retrace her steps now, she could not revive the lost...
