The breeze swept through the Koran lands. Upon it rode the wings of a new season, of new life. Though others ended. The Sun rose high and bright, its proud gleams of light reflected off the last remnants of the harsh winter's snows. It had seemed like spring was not to come and yet here new life was already starting. Pink buds began to sprout on the branches of saplings and branches alike and the grass finally made its appearance from underneath the carpet of snow.
A white form lay, her body broken and her heart torn. She was sore all over and could barely move, but at least her wounds had stopped bleeding. She was in a battle. Her oppponent the great List drappa Bila. Tarkah though felt herself fall. Bila had fallen, never to return again. Tarkah sighed. It was best to put that behind her now. She tried getting up, her legs sore and wobbly. Her back leg had been sprained, maybe even broken. Tarkah grunted raising herself up but fell back down with pain and a yelp. Wincing she growled and tried standing up once more, this time she balanced but on painful wobbling feet. Tarkah took it, one step at a time until she could finally walk with a painful and highly noticable limp. Tarkah bent down licking her wounds. The battle had left her a cut from the back of her ear, down her neck and ended near her shoulder blade. It was where Bila had inflicted her, the cut nearly driving her life out. Yet it did. But for some odd reason, she had come back. She had tasted the air of death yet she was still here.
Tarkah sighed though. What good was it to still be alive? She did not have her mate, did not have her pups didn't even have her pack. Where were they? her so called family? Tarkah wanted to know, if they still cared. If they still were of Koran.
Tarkah rose, her head tilted higher as she lifted her muzzle and with the little strength she had left she howled. Her voice high and commanding. A song of pain and of wonder. Were they still out there? would they coem back to their old drappa?

xXOf course we'll come back to our old drappaXx
Kahuri raised her head, putting her face into the wind. The young varg stepped slightly away from the kill she had just made. Was that a voice on the wind, or was it just the sound of the trees? The she-wolf crained her blueish tinted ears forward, no it was a howl of a wolf. Kahuri could hear the pain in it the sorrow, it was Tarkah! Without even taking a minite to even think she bound off. Her slender legs stretching out and pulling back as she perpelled herself across the ground. As she ran like a shadow of blue the she-wolf saw the new sprouts pushing their way out of the few patches of that was left from winter. Little bud of different colors were coming into view. The earth once again started to come to life as the world opened her eyes for the dawn of spring. Bringing new beauty on it's wake. Kahuri soon did see the drappa, a smudge of white against the brown dirt and leave. Tarkah looked different though, brocken in a way. Her white fell was now ran red in places were the unmistakable marks of a wolves teeth or claws. "Tarkah, what happened?" Kahuri asked, her ears pressed against her crown. "Who did this?" A chill ran down her spine as she saw the sorrow in Drappa's eyes, something was wrong.

A dark shape limped through the pines, growling and cursing the pain in her shoulder. She thought it had healed, but, like the wound in her heart, it would plague her for the rest of her life.
Phantom looked about her, her breath steaming in the cold daylight. She sucked in the breeze, smiling at the news it had brought. Spring was almost here. Winter's threat had almost passed. And, all around her, life seemed to be waking.
As the dark wolf scented the air, new scents hit her nostrils: Tarkah, Kahuri and...blood. Phantom spran forward, running as fast as she could. Every mucsel in her body was straining with speed and energy, while her shoulder taunted her all the way. Finnaly, her two friends where in sight.
"Kahuri! Tarkah! What happened?"

Kahuri stood beside here friend, her drappa. She winced at the sight of the gash that ran down the side of her neck. What happened? Kahuri mused, but for some reason it did not feel right to ask, not now. Right now Tarkah needed help. Snowwolf, he was the nurse of the pack, they Tarkah needed him, he knew how to heal wounds like this.
One of Kahuri’s ears flicked back at the sounds of another varg’s footsteps. The wind blew towards the she-wolf that now approached so Kahuri could not tell who was coming. The blue hued fae looked up, and saw Phantom. She was running as fast as she could in her limping gait. “Phantom!” Kahuri cried, “Tarkah, she needs help!” she hesitated, “I’m not sure what happened. But first we need to get help.” Kahuri felt foolish repeating herself like this, but it was the only thing that was important now…

Time ticked as Tarkah ended her howl. With a tired grunt she lay down upon the slushy snow. Her tired head resting upon her paws as she waited. Drip drip drip was the sound of water dropletsfalling from the branches of trees and splashing into mini puddles of melted snow. A few more seconds and then Tarkah lifted her head. Her black tipped ears twitching and swivelling to get a better response. She heard the fast runnign of paws and looked up to see the blue tinged varg Kahuri An immediate smile was seen on the ivory drappas lips as she barked. Her tail swished back and forth. Tarkah greeted Kahuri trying to stand up but on three paws only. She smiled, "Kahuri am I ever glad to see you!" Tarkah said her golden optics taking on a sparkle, "I was afraid you vargs had left." Tarkah explained but she kept her smile, "Ahh i just got in a bit of a tussle. " she spoke softly though there was stilll that hint of sadness gleaming in the corner of her eyes. "With Bila, the List drappa, though I'm afriad she is dead," Tarkah spoke this time in a soft lower tone. Tarkah was about to continue on how she had gotten to her state when another set of paws echoed. Tarkah cocked her head and the figure of Phantom came into view. Tarkah howled shrilly but did not move as she felt a slight tinge of pain course through her but tried not to show it.
Tarkah smiled as the two she wolves worried over her wounds, "I dont think its thaaat bad is it?" Tarkah asked, almost to herself. The ivory varg bit her lip, she didn't look all her best now did she. "I had gotten into a fight with Bila, and well it didn't turn out all that great." Tarkah spoke. not knowing what else she should have added.

Phantom looked over the Drappa's wounds, whining softly. "It'll be alright, Tarkah. Snowy will heal you, I promise." She looked into Tarkah's eye's, glad to see that she still had that spark of life in them. "A fight with Bila, you say? What happened?"

"A fight with Bila." Kahuri whispered to herself, repeating the words again. I cold shiver ran down her spine, Bila, she remembered her. Drappa of the List, who had invaded the Koran lands. A growl rumbled in her chest. A hate a woke in her. But the one question that now flicked in her head was why? Why had the drappa come to the Koran territory. Or had she, the fae cocked her head at Tarkah. But there was no time for questions. "I can go find help." Yes, she could go find help but where were the other members? "Do not worry, the Koran pack would never leave. We are a family and that is how it should be."
//This is Bila, getting annoyed. List invaded Koran, we got the Balkar to help, not the other way around! So give us the credit!// OPPS! Sorry!

//pets Bila, alrightie dun worry *pats you on the head and purrs*//
Tarkah looks up her golden spectacles smiled. Tarkah barked, "I'm fine... I don't think it is too bad." The ivory wolf said as pain acked through her again. Annoyed Tarkah let out a gruff growl and sighed, "I guess it wouldn't hurt to get it checked out." The drappa agreed finally but was unsure if Kahuri should go, The memmbers could be anywhere out there. Tarkah sat down her ivory tassel curled neatly around her back feet.
She could still see the confused looks on their faces and Tarkah let out a weak chuckle, "Well, you see one of the List vargs had~" Tarkah stopped and before returning to her dialect, "Alrightie long story short, I had made Bila angry and she had come over to the Koran territories, that is when things escalated." she spoke softly as if guilt racked her. Tarkah then turned to Kahuri, "But Kahuri they could be anywhere, you'll have to be careful, what if they had come here when you left?" Tarkah fussed not noticing that she was a big worrying poop.
(not the best postie but live with it! =P)

[glow=blue,2,300]The young she varg streached as she woke from her nap, she stoud up and shook the cold from her hide. Silver Fang lifted her muzzle to the air to take in the clean chrisp but all she smelled was dried blood and heard the sound of a wolf in pain. The young varg's powerful leg musles went to work as she raced towards the sorce and found her Drappa limping baddly with Phantom and Kahuri. Hmm... she thought Broken back leg and it's wound, the large cut, oviouse (sp?) pain, they look like fight wounds to me. Hmm... what to use what to use, *gasps* I know and with that she scampered in to the forests. Minutes later she returned with some herbs, a splint, wrappings, a berries. " Don't move that leg, Tarkah, it will only make the leg worse than it already is," Silver Fang gentaly layed the supplies out and went to work first with the pain by giving Tarkah the berries. At sun high she had finished, all open wounds were packed with the herbs, the splint and wrappings in place, " That should hold ya' till you see Snowy," the she varg streached once more and started to head back to the den, where she could relax and take yet another nap.[/glow]

Tarkah looekd up to see the figure of SilverFang stand before her. The drappa welcomed her with a greeting. "Actually Silver i'm fine but wait...." Tarkah said but SilverFang had ran through the woods before Tarkah could say anything more. Time passed as the great Fenris climbed the sky reaching its top steps. Tarkah yawned when the rhythmic paws steps of Silver echoed through the forestries. Tarkah perked up gazing at the galloping Silver with a bunch of supplies grasped in her jowls. Tarkah couldn't help but laugh as Silver padded upto her and set everything down. Tarkah smiled, "Really Silver it's fine really, it's not as painful..." Tarkah was stopped bere she could finish her sentance. Sighign she let Silver do her work. Tarkah watched carefully as she bplaced the berries. Wincing she yelped, the juices stung her open wounds, growling lowly in shock Tarkah uttered, "I hope you know what your doing," she said with a tease.
A few minutes later Tarkah blinked and blinked once more. She raised her paws lookign at the splint. "Interesting...But Painful" Tarkah chuckled but winced everytime she moved. "You sure those berries will work cause i think its getting worse..." Tarkah joked, tongue in cheek. Tarkah frowned and fell limply to the ground her paws waving slightly, "Aahh Silver you'vve killed me Im DyING!!" Tarkah cried her tongue hanging out at the side of her mouth. She howled but stopped. Perkign back up she chuckled lightly, "Hehe, surprise?" Tarkah smiled with gritted teeth. "Ahh don't worry you've done fine Silver! " Tarkah smiled her ivory tassel wagging

The young varg turned, as Silver Fang came forward. With a swift movement the fae ran back into the woods. Kahuri watched as she once again returned with supplies. It took a while but soon a splint wrapped around Tarkah's leg. She chuckled weakly, admiring how Tarkah could still make a joke. Even when she was in pain.
But then turned, hiesitating. The drappa was right, any of the List members could be wondering around here, and while she was looking for Snowy he could show up and she would still be searching. It was hard in these situations. Well, it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and try. There already were a lot of vargs to help and protect the alpha of the Koran.
"I am going to look for Snowolf or at least some of the members." Though Tarkah said she was fine, she felt silly. Almost like she was over reacting. Oh well, who knows what the List are planning now?"

Snowwolf heard a great howl. It came from over the hills and was the strong voice of the Koran Drappa, Tarkah. He lifted his strong head into the air and howled back. Don't worry, i'm coming! It seemed to say. He got up and his strong legs carried him to the direction from which the howl came. Feet pounding the ground, he growled, I must get there faster.<<Tarkah, didn't i give you my post number?>> TARKAH EDIT: hehe yah you did... but i deleted that message by accident so could you give me your post count again? *slaps self*

Kahuri had already had made her way up upon a hill. Loping along at an easy gate. Her ears were pricked forward, straining to hear any sign of danger. The fae looked up and shoting across the ground, like a bullet of white was Snowolf. Kahuri was releaved to see him. Craning her head back the she-wold tipped her muzzle to the sky howling. Telling the vargs of the Koran below of Snowy's approach.
She waited apon the hill for the white wolf to come. At the same time peeking around, making sure no one may be creeping around, like the List. With the Koran's drappa wounded they may decide it is a good time to attack. A shudder went down her spine as she remembered the battle. Varg against varg. List and Balkar against Koran and Deor. And her brother Drake, her own brother had tried to kill her. but it was she who had killed him instead. She had bitten his neck, and killed him. It was painful to bring back these memories, very painful.

<<Takah, i asked Phantom and she said she thinks my post number was around 390 >> Snowwolf noticed Kahuri upon the hill in front of him. He watched as she lifted her head to the sky and howled. He ran faster and faster. As his speed grew he tripped on a rock and was sent tumbling down the hill. Snowwolf got up and with a few bruises kept running toward a group of wolves gathered around the white struggling body of Tarkah. His muscles worked as they carried him toward her faster and faster. His eyes were fixed on the small group and he saw nothing but them and he almost ran into Kahuri. "Kahuri, what is happening?" he asked

Tarkah lifted her head up unable to move her legs because of the splints. With a grunt her ears rose and she looked around. The howl was sung by Kahuri.
And over the hilltop Tarkah saw a white form lingering there for a moment then came stroming down. Tarkah barked as she watched the ivory varg dash at high speeds snow slpashing everywhere.
Tarkah yipped it was Snowy. Tarkah rocked her body to a better position like how a worm wriggled his unearthly form to get from here, to there. But Tarkah didn't like to be compared to one of those things. Expecially when they didn;'t taste very good aswell. Tarkah made a funny face. She remembered what they tasted like.
The ivory drappa lifted her muzzle and howled aswell, a long welcoming note to the arrical of Snowwolf. White tassel wagged as Kahuri led Snow towards the group. Tarkah chuckled, "Nothing just got wounded. Well SilverFang fixed me up a bit... though I don't exactly like the berries, and the fact I can't move and the fact is that I dont know these things are. Wow random things you healers use." Tarkah laughed as she let her pink tongue roll out.
