A long time ago, when the gods still roamed the terra in mortal forms, the sky was just twilit, no sun or moon, just twilight. Then Fenris had Zostar make his a fiery red pup from the earth and clay and other material that was found from the Earth, including the essence of fire. But Wolfbane came, and cursed the young pup, causing him to curl up and die. The pup's coat stayed enternally aflame. To remind Wolfbane of his crime, he hung the pup up in the sky, and since the coat radiated light and heat, the Terra slipped out of eternal twilight, and into enternal day. That is how the sun came into being.
Fenris and Tor were mates in the world without Putnar or humans. Only the Lera had roamed the Earth this early in its history. Tor's belly gradually became larger, as if she was pregnant. But the gods had no knowledge of pregnancy, so as Tor's belly kept becoming larger, it was a suprise and shock to both Fenris and Tor herself. Soon, the babies slipped out of Tor, into the real world. Tor and Fenris were both shocked, for these.... things that had come out of Tor had looked like themselves. They seperated, knowing that this was not allowed to happen, and each took a varg with them. One was as silver as chrome, the other jet black like a raven. Tor took the silver one, and Fenris took the black. They raised these pups, and their names were Silve, for the silver varg, and Zabarack, for the black varg. When the pups were fully grown, they deserted them, and let them wander the world. One day, near a pine forest, these two met. They saw each other, and were spellbound. They mated, and Silve had pups. These pups would become the vargs. They raised these pups, and had more litters of pups. Soon, however, they were reaching the end of their lives. Tor came to them, and offered them a deal. If she let them live as immortals forever, they would have to do one thing for her. They agreed, so Tor had Zabarack block out the fiery pup's warmth and light, so the Earth would cool. Tor appeared to Silve, who was grieving for her mate, and told her that she would let her be with he beloved. She also promised them a reprieve from the fiery pup's rays, so the Terra would be warmed. You can see Silve today, sometimes she is curled up into a ball, and other times she is uncurled, stretching her legs, but she is there every night, surrounded by her beloved, Zabarack.
((I got my idea for this myth in an RPing thread that I did with a varg named Silve. Gods, I just used your names in there because this IS a myth for the vargs..... It kinda fits to use your names.... I'll change them to different names if you want. Terra is the word for Earth in Latin, and I like Terra better, so I used Terra. This is a rough copy.))
