Please remember that this was NOT all my work. I just compiled a combined effort into one composition. This thread was written with the help of "Ulric and William", "Shunke", "Moon Crypt", "Bryrpaw", and myself. Thanks guys for adding on! If any of you dislike my use of your writing, please reply and I will delete this the moment the reply is read. Again, thanks. Enjoy.

A playful growl penetrated the early morning mist of summer. "I'll get you next time!"
A grey wolf pup stood in the middle of a stagnant pool where a frog had been sitting on a lily pad seconds before only to dissapear into the murky water. Though seemingly carefree, the pup had endured much hardship before arriving to this lush paradise. With no parents to speak of, the pup was alone and unprotected...but also unbothered by rules or regulations. She did miss the soft fur of her mother though in the chilly mornings....
Her thoughts were interupted by the splash of the frog resurfacing from its dark and gloomy fortress.
"Fa-rah! Brr! Ha! Fa-rah!" it mocked.
"Farrah..." mused the pup, remembering her long forgotten name. Her hesitation was only momentary. Within seconds she had the frog in her clutches.
She looked at the frog and smiled. She had won the game.

Though her belly was now full, she regretted the death of the frog. It had reminded her of her name after all...but in the end, eating is necessary and the frog had lost...
She sat licking her paws as if to clean away her guilt.
(What was that?) she thought as a twig crackled in the distance interupting her grooming. She strained to see in the fog but all she could see was a few feet past the pond she had recently been hunting in. She crouched low and listened. She heard a few more frogs and some birds singing in a nearby tree, but nothing else. She breathed a sigh of relief. The thoughts of animals bigger than she was frightened her because when she had belonged to the young twoleg, nothing could bother her...but now....
She shook her head to clear the horrible thoughts and was just about to get up when she saw the yellow eyes studying her from the gloom....

Ulric watched the faemme with curiosity, his cream colored tassel waving behind him. He had a rather goofy smile on his face as his golden-amber eyes gazed through the brush and fog. He was about ready to pounce, but it seemed that his prey was about to leave, then he saw her look at him, his eyes glinting with playful malice and he darted out with a loud yip.
His pounce was a bad one, rushed so he looked silly and clumsy at the same time. He didn’t know whether he had landed on her or not, or even if he was still in the air. Of course then his brother appeared, trotting gracefully through to meet them both. He was supposed to be looking for shelter, but skipped out because he’d scented something more interesting, another pup.

“Ric, what are you doing? I’m so sorry if he startled you.” William’s voice was gentle and very apologetic, his crystalline blue-gray eyes shimmered making him look honest and very believable if he’d been lying. He pranced over, gangly legs carrying his agile snowy-white form closer to the two.
Ric had toppled over and was laying on his back, he finally figured out what had happened and that he’d clearly missed by a long shot. Liam watched as he got up, pity showing clearly in his glistening blue orbs. “He doesn’t often think things through. Oh, I am William, and he’s my brother, Ulric.”

As he had nothing to do as of now in his own lands, the Dragga of Ge-rad decided to return to where he had once come, a place where many new comers passed through on their way into the lands that surrounded.
Bryr smiled at the sound of cubs, younglings, more or less relaxing in what was perhaps the only truely safe part of the forest... and even then, Bryr doubted it was totally safe.
Silver eyes widened as he came to a small area, currently containing three wolves in it. He glanced at them from the small fae, who had obviously just finished eating, from the scent of blood that still lingered in the air.
Then he eyed the brutes. The pair of young males were cream and white, respectively. He smiled as he heard them introduce themselves as brothers. His own brother, Roseki, had died a short time ago... although it felt like lifetimes.
Surprised, and intrigued, the ebony Dragga stepped into the circle, and looked at them. "Hello." he said, his quiet voice quite unfitting for the scarred body.

A young, skinny, black pup wandered the area, sniffing the ground with curiosity. She had been wandering aimless for days, living on only small creatures that scurried about. Every now and then, Shunké would stop to sniff the air, or prickle her ears to any sound that was made. The smell of moisture filled the black pup's nostrils. There was indeed water nearby. She padded in the direction of the moisture, which only thickend. A loud croaking sound filled the air... the croaking of a frog. Indeed, there was water nearby.
Shunké began to trot faster, her hopes of water high. A loud yip then caught the pup's attention, making her stop in her tracks. Shunké sniffed the air again, this time for danger. The smell was hard to detect, but it was there. Wolves, Shunké thought to herself. She didn't know if this was a good thing, or bad thing. Chancing it, Shunké crept forward, laying low, carefull not to be seen or heard. She could barley make out two; no, three figures in the distance, two closer and more distinct. She watched for only seconds as a fourth had joined them.
Out of no where, something slimy slipped under Shunké's right front paw, right as she was placing it on the leafy ground. The unknown creature gave a loud, as what could only be described as a "burp." Shunké let out a loud surprized yip, as she jumped back, tripping over her long legs and falling to the ground. She looked to find the object of her surprize, only finding a slimmy green frog. Shunké quickly got to her feet, she wondered if the others heard the comotion she made.

Sapphire lanterns peered through the shadows as another lone wolf crept amongst the under brush following her nose to the water. Her continuously computing mind knew that at this time a-day many wolves came to feed their parched mouths, but she hadn't figured on there being this many. Her figure padded about in an arched form, her posture disgraceful to what might picture a robust young adult fae to be. No; in a polar opposite way she was rather slouchy and her fur, though matted, was somewhat clean. Her facial expression held one that wasn't to friendly either; her teeth always clenched and ready to spring upon any victim who riled her temper, and icy eyes to back up the cold stare she normally wore while wandering about alone.
The day seemed rather silent to the normal bustle that came about the watering pool; however, just as she began to think things were going to go her way, voices came from up ahead. She slowed her gate down to a laggard walk, her ears trying to pinpoint and calculate how many?, who were they? Her concentration was rather amazingly on target until her stomach grumbled in dissaproval of her paying closer attention to the sounds up ahead than it. Giving a growl to herself, she picked up her pace. Strangers wouldn't concern her at the moment. Just as she almost cleared her journey a yip came from her left. Auds erect and motion haulted except for her head which shot up to an alert mode, MC listened carefully as her eyes fell upon a young fae clearly something had frightened her but she wasn't quite sure what. Creeping closer in her silent step the Nieten, who normaly wasn't known for keeping her muted footfalls to perfection, peered upon Shunke.

Although she had recently eaten, Farrah's stomach suddenly felt empty with fear. The young male who had tried to pounce on her was not what had scared her, but all the new scents of lurking wolves.
The two who had introduced themselves as Ulric and William seemed nice enough, but the black wolf who had emerged from the bushes seemed like he had just entered from a fierce battle. He was covered from head to tail with long scars, some of them old and some of the moderately fresh.
"Hello." The large ebony wolf had a voice that seemed unfit to one of such a brutal body. The way he held his tail and the air of importance with which he carried himself when he entered was a sure sign that he was highly ranked in some way or another. What position he held, she could only guess. Either way, she felt honored if not a little anxious to have someone of even a little statis even consider speaking to her, a foreigner.
She was about to reply when suddenly, through the brush, she heard a startled yelp which shook away all previous interrogations.....

William’s tail curled around his leg, his shinning blue eyes held mixed emotions of both awe and nerves. He couldn’t tell whether the older male was friend or foe, and with all the noises around them now everything seemed like it was going to be full. He had to admit that he wasn’t a big fan of crowded areas, so he would most likely end up as a Kerl.
“Good day sir.” He managed to say shortly after the yelp, which had also distracted him, but he was already figuring what it was, a fellow canine, someone of their Canidae family. He could scent that there was another, but he’d let Ulric do the fighting, as that was what Ric liked to do.
He glanced over his shoulder, gazing into the dark; he was able to make out a dark silhouette against the shadows mingled with wood. He watched for long moments, not able to move, but soon dragged his mind back to what was up front and immediate.
*****
Ulric, however, lowered his tail very slightly. As Liam already knew, Ric didn’t like to look scared; but he would show respect to his elders, so he dipped his muzzle low to the ground and peered back at the ebony male with fiery amber-gold hues.
He watched for long moments as many began to come near, he could smell at least one other clearly as if he, or she was right there in front of him. He was about to answer the large male’s greeting, but was quickly distracted by a loud, and startled yelp.
He couldn’t help but stare into the shadows as he watched for anything that seemed to be wolf, he thought he saw something slink toward the sound, but that could’ve easily been more than just wolf. He looked alert and he padded a little closer to his brother, in an almost protective way, it was clear who was stronger, even at a glance.

Shunké stayed put for several seconds, her ears alert to any sound. She was nervous and felt as if something was watching her. Once again she turned her nose to the air, sniffing out the location of the wolves. She identified the four prevous scents in front of her, who she could no longer hear. But there was a fith scent... a scent that was not there before, and was much closer to her. Nervously, Shunké peered to her right, frightened of what this wolf could do to her at this vunerable state.
At first she saw nothing, her ears picked up no sound. But then, staring right at her, she saw the glow of two saphire eyes peering at her through the thick gloom. Shunké froze as she saw the wolf near her, her body becoming more visible. She was bigger than Shunké, and looked as though she was built for fighting. Shunké could only imagine what damage her jaws could cause, and her facial expression showed no sign of friendliness. Shunké started to panic, and was now looking for a quick way out.
Thinking quickly, Shunké found her legs and started to run from the feirce -looking wolf. She ran swiftly, wondering if the other wolf would chase her. Shunké chanced looking behind her, but her front paw caught a rock, and she tumbled into the bank of the water, exposing herself to the rest of the wolves.

Steel grey paws clenched the ground they walked upon as Moon Crypt steadily padded from the darkness that enveloped the forest. The small black pup had been scared off and stumbled into the banks of the pool the large fae had been seeking out the whole time. Her eyes flickered with a deep passion and tail snaked tightly like that of a stalking cat. She saw something in the cub that she almost instantly became addicted to and it baffled her. Though with all good puzzles they must be put together and MC flourished in the thought of taking the pup. Obviously her mentor Neit had somewhat rubbed off on her.
However there were a few unwanted guests that seemed to plague her intentions; there was a young faemme and three manns. One, though, taking upon the look of a regal sovereign whose lands have been plagued with emptiness, held the same wasteful eyes of the Deor Dragga...what a shame the crimson wolf was going to be put to work in such a pack. Moon Crypt hoped the strangers would mind their own business as she was minding her own. She didn't want them interfering with the cub.
Quicking her pace, she trotted to the banks of the pool and and peered down at the black pup, a smirk of absolute pleasure seized her as she saw within the its soul the first piece to the puzzle. Lowering her muzzle, Moon Crypt leaned over to pick the pup back onto her feet.

Shunké trembled as the brute female neared her to pick her up. Her eyes shone with wickedness, almost as evil as Lucifer himself. Her teeth were long and pointed, as though she could bite straight through Shunké's very bones. Saliva dribbled down the female's teeth and tounge, and Shunké could feel her hot breath as she lowereed her head to pick up the frigtened pup.
But when she did, Shunké didn't feel so scared anymore. It was almost like the wolf surged a great deal of power into her, making her feel strong and brave. Shunké felt as though she could attack a million wolves at that instant, something which she never felt with her father. This wolf was different, yes. With a gentle touch coming from the First of the Nightmare Trio, who had always had the reputation for killing and being a complete brute, one would usually be quite suprised. There was never a time she had been kind to another with the exception of her pack or sisters; however, even in her pack she was allowed to be cruel and continue with her ways. Frustration and silence would accompany each other while in her presence; never was their caring for a cub... or another.
Moon Crypt softly laid the pup in upright position. A grimace of thrill and satisfaction seized her normal grump maw. She indulged herself upon the fantacies of taking this pup and unleashing what potential she had caged up inside. But where were her manners? The young one had just asked her a question and the only response she had recieved was an odd looking stare coming from a strange wolf she had just met. MC thought for a moment...never had she given her name to a stranger. It was unheard of by her standards. However, in this particular instant, things were different. The fae leaned her commanding jaws towards the wee ball of soft fur. In her ear she whispered, "I will tell you my name, however you must take oath to never reek it upon another soul..." she paused for a moment her grin ascending higher. "I am Moon Crypt."
With that said in soft undertones she rose her muzzle from the pup only to dip it back down again to give her a sturdy lick. Her neck joints seeming to twitch as if possessed by the unnatural motion to lick another in warmth. The fae's eyes glittered with promise, "And tell me... what do I have the pleasure in calling you?"

Farrah watched carefully as the wolf known as Ulric stepped closer to his brother. She wondered if he was actually thinking he'd need to attack the unknown shapes drifting through the trees. Suddenly she heard a splash. She quickly directed her gaze toward the stagnant pool where she had caught the frog only moments before. It seemed as though that carefree life was only a dream now.
When her thoughts stopped clouding her gaze she focused on the wolf pup now sprawled out in the stinking water of the puddle.
The still seconds that followed the pups unnexpected crash into the water seemed to take an eternity.
The playful "dream" in which Farrah had been living while catching frogs turned into a nightmare the second the full-grown wolf stepped out of the forrest. Scarred and brutal looking with an air of pure evil and hate surrounding it, the wolf stepped menacingly into the clearing. Farrah was surprised to notice that the visitor's fiersome eyes were not focused on her, but on the small wolf pup that had landed in the water only moments before.
She saw the pup squirm with fear as the large wolf's jaws enveloped the soft flesh of it's neck and then a startlingly surprising thing happened. The wolf set the small bundle of fur on it's feet and gave it an almost....loving gaze?
Farrah remembered the young girl used to give her the very same gaze every night before going to bed....
Her thoughts were again interrupted as the black pup asked in an almost powerful and demanding voice, "What's your name?" There was a stunned silence as the larger of the intruders seemingly contemplated the simple question. She then slowly bent over and licked the pup tenderly just before wispered something barely discernable into the now reassured pups ear. The only words Farrah could actually "decode" were "...have the pleasure of calling you?" There was a moments hesitation. Farrah's ears were pricked and her muscles tensed as if every part of her had been waiting for this one moment for ages. The whole woods had fallen under the trance of the unusual happenings of the instant. The wolf pup seemed about to reply when it happened...

By: Farrah
