yeeah. thats something im adding to my list. finish the goddamn thing. then i can sit back all satisfied with myself that i managed to finish a story. and one so long as that thing's gonna turn out to be.
and yeeah, when you finish it, im gonna make you go try and publish it. and i'll do a victory dance. and then we'll get drunk. (because all good plans should end in such a way... and because there's no beer in our fridge)

*snicker* Right with ya, Fen. I've tried so many times to finish a story I've started, it's terrible! *sigh* I always get stuck, or bored, or haven't added to it for so long that I'm a bette writer so I have to re-write it, but I'm too lazy to do so. *pants* Yeah, that was a mouthful. But, I love to write, I just get side-trcked to easy. That's why I love this place! I can write a story and somone else writes it with me. It keeps me on - Hey look! A butterfly! *scampers away*

i would have been too lazy to re-write the story that i started ages ago, if my hard-drive hadn't of died and left me with no choice. =P mind you, now the plot has been altered, hopefully in the "improved" sense. and... its still nowhere near being finished.
can i get a few opinions on this
does anyone think it would look silly tattooed on my lower back? see i lurve it, but i dunno whether or not i should make it abit less intricate (and therefore less time-consuming and expensive) and maybe add something around it... have an idea.. hard to explain... basically im lazy and i can't be bothered asking people individually. ive had this image for aages, since i was little.. just found it online via luck. its a little bit different from the hard-copy i have, but you get the idea. it basically means, femininity and eternity, and, like, the cycle of life and stuff cause it goes round in a never-ending circle type thing =P fun no? (and yeah, i think its gonna be another tattoo before another piercing.)

I love it! I bought a card for Dean with that in colour on the front cause he loves snakes and reptiles - also it's celtic which I love.
It would make a very sexy tattoo for the lower back. Though one problem I've been told before about a tribal wolf pattern. If the image is too small and there is a LOT of close detail, with age the ink tends to blend a bit and therefore lines merge into one. So it's best to have either a larger image or make the lines more spaced apart.
But still - it's a great idea *nods*

yup i luurve snakes. i want one. but my mum would kick me onto the streets, and my grandma would never come near the house. =P hey, plus side! =D (just kidding, i love her to bits, but she is absolutely bonkers... according to her, my dark is too dark, i should wear skirts and dresses, not jeans... apparently i'll never get a guy if i keep wearing tatty jeans... =P)
aye well it's gonna be bigger than that... the copy i have is bigger than that. thats just good to post in here as a rough idea, sorta thing. but i think i am gonna take out some of the detail, which should give it a more personal thing.. i told you that Tony is getting one across his back... will look so fit. *drools*
but you know what i haven't gotten over? .. the fact that i want a silouhette of a heron on the back of my neck...
but this one is gonna be so much more expensive that my ankles. -__-

Woot snakes are awesome, I wuv my little one eyed cali king <3
But for the tattoo itself what Elentári said is true, its has to be bigger, the ink will bleed out and with age will just blur into a black splotch. I’m sure your tattoo shop will adjust the size for you and give their professional opinions, if they are a good shop they will probably re draw it for you if there is still too much detail. But doing that yourself is a nice idea, drawing your own body art is fun. ^^
I find lower back tattoos are nicer when they are a little longer in width so it suits the female form better. It might look good up a little more, like right where your torso meets your hips. It would look very snazzy on your shoulder blade or right between your shoulder blades. I have a curricular eclipse between my shoulder blades and that shape fits there very nicely.
Oh and it will probably be around 150-200 including the tip, if its only done in black ink.

aah but thats your crazy currency, not ours.. =P and yeah, ive got the choice of two tattoo places here apparently. the guy has weird teeth, but he's a nice guy. good artist too. but i would always have taken out most of the detail, and it looks like much less detail in my bigger version, which is a nice size, not too small and not too big, sorta thing. and im having it on one side of my lower back, not across the spine, sort of thing. i want one on my shoulder, but, not yet. =P for one its very noticable, and i think my grandma would skin me alive =P so thats for when im older.
basically, im gonna need to start working on it. which i might do tomorrow. after ive done my german. maybe i should add 'passing a levels' to my list, then i might have the motivation to do it. =P

Snakes are ace! Dean has one...but it's a tempremental little git. So much so that it bit Dean's wrist the other day for bugger all reason apart from the faact it was grumpy. I swear it's gonna eat me one day...I can't help but taunt it at the window thing...he's jsut so grooveh! *sigh* I'll pay for my easily amused antics some day...
Anyway! Yeh, that sounds cool =P I like it. And I think the heron idea is good. It's fitting and has a meaning - hence why my design is going to have butterflies (cheesy I know but it's got a meaning to it). How would you have it though? The whole body of the heron or just the head and neck or...me not quite sure how you mean. But still, the idea in my head looks cool!

Wow, that does have a lot of detail, but I love the meaning. Remember, the more detail, the more ink, the longer it takes. I'm not sure, but judging by the amount of detail, it would probably take more than one day.
Oh, and I have a few more things to add to my list: 1.Ride a subway (hehe, we don't have any of those here, and even though Fae strongly hates them, I still want to ride one ^^) 2. Visit all major cities: Chicago, Las Angeles, NYC, Las Vegas, Miami

Before I die, huh? I don't really know, to be honest. If there's anything that I want to do before I die..I guess it would be to see wolves in the wild.
<br>Here, where I'm living at current, there's tons and tons and tons of coyotes. But no wolves. And, truth be told, I always felt closer to wolves then people anyway. So yeah, 1st thing on my list is to see wolves in the wild.

Fen, I think you shouldn't get it with so much details. Most people will only see it from a distance and it'd just look like a coolio circle tattoo. Big whoop. But, if maybe it was spread out, like most people see when they think of snakes, they'll automatically think, "Hey! She's got an awesome snake tattoo! Let's go check it out." You know what I mean?

yeah im gonna take some of the detail out. and anyway, theres only a few months in the year when im melting from the heat that the majority of people will see it.
and spread out it would lose all meaning. its meant to be in a coil with it's tail in it's mouth. otherwise it wouldnt be anything like the celtic symbol and symbolize anything, it would just be a snake tattoo
and El, a week without eating potatoes?? whyyy? just why would you do that to yourself? potatoes are the aces! 0_0 i wuv em. BOIL EM MASH EM STICK EM IN A STEW!! ... sorry.. LOTR moment.. =P
and wolves in the wild.. yeah... i can see where you're coming from... i'd rather see sharks in the wild though.. which is theoretically possible for me to do here... just need to find the damn Basking Sharks.

Watch a Nascar race (in person)
OMG I went to the Darlington race this weekend (saw the Nextel Cup and the Bush series), you definitely have to see one in person. Those cars- they are so powerful, and loud. ^^ But if you're looking for some action (crashes), go see the Bush series in person. The Bush series is mostly full of hot-headed rookies who are very determined, and they have lots of crashes. The crashes are way better in person too. Plus, the race is shorter, and I know in the middle of the Nextel race, I found myself thinking, 'oh tor, crash or something! Anything!'
Fenris, you say your have a Disney world 'round where you live, right? I'm not sure, but if it has water parks, it probably has a small area where you can swim in the water with the sharks. Or at least the one in Orlando does.

pfft, there's no Disney world in the UK. theres one in Paris, but it sucks. and. thats where i started to dislike the french. but my mum loves Disney, and she took me to Florida when i was umm... 11 or something.. 10? maybe? i dunno. but i did do that thing. but those were very small sharks. so technically i have. but. i'd luurve to swim with bigger ones.. plus my memory sucks, especially from back then... so, i cant remember it very clearly...
