I got into one of those conversations again... but I'm just curious really.
I know I have a list, just thought I'd like to hear some other people's ideas, and stuff. All those little things you'd like to do before you go. See, I'm abit of a pessimist, I started ticking things off the list as soon as I made it basically, because hey, that bus I keep threatening to argue with, might just run me over tomorrow (I'd laugh if I've jinxed that now, I have to get like a million buses tomorrow =P)
but yeah, basically, I thought this was the best place for it really. Just ideas of what you think all people should have on their list (if they have a list) all the little things you'd like to do, and the crazy stuff you'd pounce on the chance of doing if you could.
Few of mine are silly little things like: get free coffees from Costa get ears pierced more (more than the original holes i had when i was little.) - Done get tattooed - done ride in the boot of a car - done (long story to that one. when i was little and being an arse, my mum always used to threaten to put me in the boot of the car for the journey back from some place, and for some odd reason, i always loved the idea. =D i love the fact that some of my friends can drive) go to a festival - Done (Leeds 06! rawwwk. i was basically at the front for both Killswitch, and Slayer. =D) Go to Ireland - been to Scotland and Wales, obviously I'm already in England... just got to make it to Ireland, then i'll've been round the UK properly... ish.. learn to ride a motorbike - my uncle promised to teach me. woo! harley! =D learn to play poker Meet more people from online in RL - cause its amusing. =P make a flaming sambuca man - too lazy to explain that one.. (and loads of other stuff, that i don't wanna add on here, cause it might damage the minds of the small childrens =P)
and onto the harder stuff to do, like: swimming with sharks - i'd luuurve to go down in one of those cages with the great whites... but i've seen some places where there are aquariums that let you do it... need some money first though bungee jumping visit every capital city in Europe - first time i went to berlin, i met this italian guy who was basically trying to get me drunk... but i chatted to him and all, cause i like meeting new people. and basically, what he wanted to do before he died, was see every capital city in Europe. great idea no? he'd already done quite a few I think... lemme see, I've been to London (it sucks, seriously), Berlin (rawks), Edinburgh... aww damn... does the Disneyland Paris count?? scuba dive/snorkel in a coral reef i love marine life.. and this is probably never going to happen with the coral being protected in most places... like the cage and the great white thing, they aint allowed to chum no more and stuff like that. but hey! a gal can dream no?
and that's enough for now... i got dressed as the evil queen from snow white for a disney-themed fancy dress party, so i thought, hey, she's vain, so, fake nails to cover up my horrid brittle things... and its so hard to type.. and open beer cans... *grumbles* you know you look like such an alcoholic when you open them with your teeth you know?

woo! inappropriateness for all! =D i remember the conversation, but i cant remember what suggestions i gave you - though i think i know the things i will have said... =P
and i really think i should find myself a thicker jacket before i even think about going for this bus... dammit, the past couple of days it's been warm, and now it goes back to cold, when im expecting it to continue. unless it's warm outside and it's just this house being crazy and trying to trick me... *goes to check whilst she nips out and gets the post* aww dammit. one. no post. two, not warm. and three, ive now had to change the jacket for something less baggy, and actually mine and not my mothers.... damn it all to hell... =P and yes, i am ranting. i also should add learn how to drive onto that... because if i'm not careful, im going to miss the bus.. yeah... damn.. need to go. the 42 is a pain in the arse, and i aint missing it and having to get the 49 in the vain attempt to catch up with it. your fault Ziev. all your fault. =P
EDIT - well... i had a fun morning with the buses.. and apparently, my art lessons arent cancelled. and apparently, the 42 does not go past my college anymore... so i got dropped off by the damn hospital, where i had this creepy guy who started following me... anyway, i gave up.. i came home, i aint going in today. i'd only get all my teachers screaming at me, and thats not something i want. so therefore, i sit back, relax, with coffee. and do some art in abit.
another thing i realised i should have my list - destroy the british public transport system - the buses and trains wont disappoint people if they arent there to disappoint.

Hmm...
Go hang gliding Go skiing Fly on an airplane Visit all 50 states Go outside the country See a rain forest before it's destroyed Go scuba diving in a coral reef Celebrate Mardi Gras in New Orleans Walk through the big red oaks by the west coast Drive a Motorcycle (besides my dirt-bike) Watch a Nascar race (in person) Go to a concert Get a tattoo Go sky-diving See the Grand Canyon Ride through the flooded streets of Venice Visit Ireland (I'm Irish-blooded) Have a vacation in Mexico
I think that's about it. And yes, I've never flew on a plane. Our family has always drove to our vacation. (I live in Ohio and have been to Florida many, many times.)

I think the first time I went on a plane, was the 8 hour flight to Florida when i was little. Since then i've been twice to Berlin in the past two years, and thats only a 2 hour flight really.. I don't like it when my ears pop -__-
the rainforest one is good... doubt i'd get to do it though. plus i can;t stand heat, i think it'd drive me crazy before i could appreciate the forest too much.
out of interest, what tattoo would you get?

hehe, it hurts less depending on where you get it. backs can be quite fleshy, unless you're really scrawny. but its such a friggin weird sensation. but hey, no pain no gain. =D .. (thats friggin weird, i just typed that, and the media player changed track to No Pain No Gain by the Scorpians (yes, im speshial)) my next one is gonna be on my lower back n all, but not in the centre, more to the side. and i think i'm going with the celtic snake infinity/feminity symbol.. i know if i get one on the back of my neck i want a silouhette of a heron.. but one of the tattoo places in this town doesnt do necks, so im gonna have to check out the other one.
another thing i want to learn to do before i die... go somewhere and get there on time. i think im gonna be late for my life drawing class. *shudders* eww. naked old man. its not a pretty sight. seriously. ok. less typing. more moving...

If you get a tattoo, for your first time, the guy told me the upper part of your back would be the best place. That's where I'm getting my second one, when I graduate. But like Shayla said, it depends where you get it. Mine is on the left hand side of my lower back, and the only part that hurt is the darker black lines that came close to the spine. Other than that, if felt like someone was scratching my back, and was rather comforting at times XD. I have a high resistance for pain, to be honest. The more black, the more pressure too. And it really isn't that bad. My mom got one on her ankle, (very bony, I don't suggest it for first timers) and she blew through the pain. She's also a wimp, but she didn't get up and leave in the middle of it, she took it. And if she could, you could.
Ok, my list. I actually have very little to do, and some of it, I'll be doing this summer when I move up north.
Play in snow (skiing, sledding, snowball fights, snow angels, snow man, snow fort, ect.) Get drunk with friends on 21st B-day (or theirs, since I’m the oldest) Visit Hawaii, Alaska, and California (preferably by any means of transportation that is not flying) Go on a Mediterranean cruise Go to a hockey game Own at least one thoroughbred retired from the track Pass college Surf on an actual surfboard (somehow, the knee board just doesn’t cut it XD) See wolves in the wild, along with orca whales Live somewhere other than Florida Watch all 7 Harry Potter movies, and read all 7 (or +) books at least 5 times each
Haha, I'm a looser, I know. XD I hate flying, can you tell? I get motion sickness easily.

ha, i got my first ones on my ankles. namely cause my friend offered to pay for me to get a tattoo for my 18th, so i went with the cheapest for their sake. plus it would also get the most painful out the way.
Shunké... you say the second one like you've never been drunk before? ... wait, is the age over there 21? ... ouch. just ouch. =P
and flying isnt that bad. better than being cooped up in a car for ages. -__- gah, Harry Potter =P
but yeah, thats another one i need. to watch more films. because i haven't seen some "classics" that i should have.. apparently.. one person was really shocked that i havent seen all of ET, or all of The Sound Of Music. personally, i think im lucky in that respect. =P

Very true. ^^ I don't think I'll get one on my ankle, it's too fat XD
Yeah, in the US you have to be 21 to legally drink, like, out in public. Doesn't mean I haven't been drunk before, just not with my friends. XP
I just went on a flight to PA and back, like, 3 days ago. I just get so sick on them, that's why I don't like flying. I enjoy car rides, because I can enjoy the scenery and such. Try watching "Gone with the Wind" XD

lol! well it'd hurt less then? =P
aah right. see my best friend in high school kinda lived in a pub... course now they're moving out of the pub... so there goes my source of free pints (bar from reverting to low cut tops and trying to scab free drinks off pervy guys. which isnt exactly something im gonna do)
and yeah, the scenery is nice.. not so much for the driver, because well, you're concentrating on the road.
Gone With The Wind? ... i might have to pass on that one too =P see, i hadn't seen all the Alien films, which i have now. apparently it's a crime that i haven't seen ... ok i cant even remember.. some horror film. i was asked if i had seen the Shining... and i kinda have... .... i was in the room whilst it was on, but i was concentrating on something else. does that count? =P

Hmm, this is probably going to be rather short since I've never really thought about it, but I do have a few...
Go to Italy again (I've been three times, but not for a while) Speak at least two languages other than English See Les Miserables again Go to a festival/Ren fair Do a study abroad in Europe(probably Italy)/live there
Meh yes, this is even fewer than I was expecting... oh well, if I think of more I'll edit them in ^_^

[glow=black,4,000]These are all great, God I'm so bored right now (should be posting but I'm lazy!). I might as well throw a few of mine in. Not that they'll be terribly interesting!
See wild wolves (fat chance of that happening, but hey! Also, a bit typical as well, but I've always wanted to help reintroduce them back into Scotland. Never EVER gonna happen...) Actually finish reading the LotR trilogy and re-read The Hobbit Properly start a Pet Portrait business Own a Boxer Own a Friesian Go to New Zealand Visit Canada Get a tattoo (I loof the ankle/foot tattoos, and I think that's gonna be my first as well, if not it's gonna be around my bellybutton) Get my belly button pierced (just gotta get the courage and money for it) See Nightwish in Concert (pity Tarja's gone, and I missed the last concert in Glasgow with her. Arg!) Read every book I buy. No matter if that's what actually kills me! (yeh I have a nasty habit of buying books and never reading them...or reading a book half way through then never finishing it, instead start something else)
That's all I can think of now. So many of these are repetative. But hey, some things you just HAVE to do![/glow]

Ah! Something I forgot on the list...
To write, FINISH and publish a story (whether it be a novel for teens and adults or a children's book which I personally illustrate. Both would be great mind, but I'd like to try at least one)
I've had this goal for a long time, since I never manage to get a good plotline nor finish a story. I just forgot about it till I was jibbering with Fennie about her story...
