RENT : Broadway or Bigscreen
Has anyone seen the Play? ......I want to really badly....Anyway....which do you guys think is better the movie or play.....I Personally am in love with the movie....i cant stop listening to the soundtrack ......but which one ...... PLAY or MOVIE

I actually have only seen the movie, but i would love so much to go seet he play. I love the soundtrack. I LOVED THAT MOVIE. It was just so powerful.

Well, as you might know the original boradway musical of RENT was completely music. There was no dialogue, and thus, was uninteresting to me, but moved along fairly well. I think that their new Mimi was much better vocally wise, the one for the movie, and the original Mimi fit the part a little better though. But beggers can't be choosers.
I myself prefer the movie, I have fallen deeply in love with Anthony Rapp, and wish that he wasn't gay... but again, beggers can't be choosers and it would be a little bit illegal for us to have a relationship anyway. SO, in anycase, if you wish to know some useless facts about RENT (which I most likely know quite a few of), then you can both go ahead and PM me. But yes, the broadways was lovely and if you ever get the chanse, go see it, but the movie was far better in my opinion.
