If you read the last of the series (I can't tell that you have because you say you hate it and yet you know so much about it) you know that you-know-who (not Voldemort!) will not be attending Hogwarts next year along with two others. Most likely, the former will not graduate. Instead, that character will most likely go and hunt down You-know-who (now it's Voldemort...am I confusing you?) and find out who RAD is. And yes, it would be weird without "a next Harry Potter book" coming out, wouldn't it? I'm sure that JKR will be out with another book series though. However, I don't think that it will actually end with the seventh book. As I've said in previous posts, there's no way she could sum it all up in just one book! It could take her a lifetime just to write enough about "oh brave and noble Harry" to satisfy her fans. Others are already puking at the thought of having no more Harry Potter books...terrible isn't? Actually, I think it was last year that (I don't know if you heard about this since I'm in the USA and you're supposedly in England) some guy murdered two other guys trying to get an unreleased Harry Potter book. Terrible, isn't it? All just to get your hands on a book! Even I'm not such a book worm...and that's saying a lot. I've read just about every book in my library...so now I am forced to read the Clique which my friends have been trying to shove down my throat for a while. What's sad about it is...I felt like "Claire" when I moved into a huge school and there WERE preps who tried to shove me around and just be jerks. I don't know if Claire will retort, but I did and almost got in BIG trouble for it! Oops! Anyway, nice to talk to you oh-rude-and-mean-god-who-likes-to-prance-around-and-be-mean-because-he-can! I like your pic! It's weird! Where in the name of Tor...I mean Wolfbane *he he* did you get that avatar?
She?! Well, now, I'm rather offended. And it's none of your business, but a gorgeously morbid artist drew it - I can't remember the name, but it's copyright to them so now you know I didn't STEAL IT AND SAY I MADE IT. I'll post the name when I find it, oi?

[glow=black,2,3] Well, dear Farrah, I don't think DD has a horacux, or however you spell it. (I don't have my books at the moment, either : P) For HX are looked down upon, and Dd doesn't seem to fond of them. In fact, he seems to think death is a better than what you would become after making a HX. And you have to kill someone. Did DD kill someone? *ponders*
And to Wolfbane, well, I read that JK *might* make another book after the series ends, but she said she wasn't making any promises. [/glow]

To Wolfbane: I'm soooooooo sorry! I didn't mean it! typo! Aggghhh! *runs to fix it* That's better...but technically in your terms worse...what's with "oi"? I like it! Is it just English or am I stupid or all of thee above (if I know you, and I don't, I can guess that answer...) To Shunke: It does seem weird that DD would kill someone, but he knew so much about horcruxes. How else would he know? Besides, he's really old...how would anyone know his past besides himself? Who else? Besides, Dumbledore is a mysterious character. How could anyone ever guess his previous/next move?

[glow=black,2,3] Just becasue he knew alot about HXes, doesn't mean he actually used one. I still highly doubt he did, because he does not fear death. "there are worse things than death," I belive he once said.
And don't forget, Slughorn also knew alot about HX's, but I hight doubt a wizard like him has one. He's too weak in the mind, and is not such a great wizard as Dumbledor or Voldemort. [/glow]

I still can't help but think that...I mean, DD has to have a horcrux. When he says there are worse things than death, he's probably talking about horcruxes...maybe even his own. I mean, maybe he was once afraid of death and created one then. Unless he wanted to go out and find and kill a piece of his own preserved soul, he probably just left it where it was...if it exhisted that is...

THe new movie is really great! The special effects are so awesome, and the actors were really convincing. Of course going to the premiere made me sick so that's something I'm not going to do ever again (I'll wait like a good little girl next time). Anyway, those of you who like the books really should see this movie, you absolutely adore the tournement!

I did! It WAS AWESOME! Absolutely. However, they still wacked up some scenes and characters. For instance, they didn't even introduce Doby's friend...what was her name again? I can't remember. Anyway, Doby was the one who suggested Giliweed. (sp) And they didn't do the Madame Maxime/Hagrid scene at the Yule Ball where he tells her of his heritage and she gets ticked off. I didn't like Moody. His eye wasn't supposed to be on a strap like that, just in his socket. Also, I didn't like the way they made mechanical sounds when his eye focused. It's not mechanical! It's magical! No noise! From a movie critic's stanpoint, it was the best movie of the year. Tied witht he acting of Pirates of the Caribbean (can't wait for Dead Man's Chest!) and better in graphics than Lord of the Rings. From the bookreader's standpoint, I'd say from 1-10 I'd rate it a 6. Graphics and acting made up for missing parts and added parts, but I didn't like those regardless. All in all, it was a GREAT movie.

[glow=black,2,3] I saw it Friday! Yay! I must hurry, have to get off soon- But they didn't leave off as much as they did in the third. And Doby's friend is Winky- the drunk elf. LOL!
Yeah, so it was a bit out of secquence, but they got most of it in there. And the Dark Mark- too TOO COOL! Totally brilliant! [/glow]

I went the same night BT did... and Crashed the next day. I was so exausted that I almost couldn't make it to school...
I love the bouncing!!!!! and the bath tub! OOOOOO!... Oh, and ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Moody was AWESOME!!! and i think it might be a little difficult to do the eye in the socket that spens in a full 360. I think the strap makes him look that more creepy. I squeeked when I saw him. Winky was a funny part in the book, but she's a fairly unnecessary character. The only thing she was good for was an acusation, comedy relief, and well, being Dobby's drunken friend. But I absolute was dissappointed at Viktor Krum. He was supposed to be so much cuter! Like... like Cedric, rest his soul. TT He was way too cute to die... maybe a little rude seeming, but too cute a character to die. I like the part where he tells Harry the hint. **Goes into a long winded Auto Rant on the Movie.**

Graphics and acting made up for missing parts and added parts, but I didn't like those regardless. All in all, it was a GREAT movie. [glow=purple,2,3,00]First of all, her name is Winky. Dobby's friend? Yes, it's Winky. And obviously it wasn't exactly necassary for them to put in Dobby or Winky, because she didn't have a large enough part to be needed within the storyline. Yes, Dobby is included in that. His biggest part so far in the siries was in the Second Book... Secondly, the scene at the Yule Ball with Hagrid and Madam Maxine was also unnecassary. I mean, did we really need to add an extra tweny minutes on an already 2 hour movie just to have a little fight between a giantess and a half giant? It wasn't needed, and I think it would have dragged the movie down a bit (Being that they already had Hermione peeveing all over Ron...not literally thank you.) Thirdly, the eye HAD to have a strap on it. Do you realize how fricking hard that would have been special effects wise, to glue on a mechanical eye (because seriously that's what it was, a remote control eye...) to the actor's face, adding an extra hour and a half to his dressing time, and putting the production further behind schedule in the process? it would have been shody at best, and they way they did it in my opinion is perfectly fine. As for the little noise it made, so what? Honestly, I think that just added to the effect that this was a magical eye. They left a lot of things out, and this I highly appreciated. Such as Neville giving Harry the Gilliweed. That made it SOOO much more simple, then having Dobby come in, read Neville's book, find out about Gilliweed, steal it from snape's closet, then give it to Harry...It's so much simpler to say Neville was reading in his own book and found a solution for his friend Harry....One less character, cutting down an extra thirty or so minutes of unnecassary explanations. They added a few more to the dragon part then was needed, but I understand as to why they did that. This was a task. It needed to be detailed, because there were only three. And the tasks of the triwizard tournament were the basis of the storyline and plot of the book and so it had to be for the movie aswell. My point you ask? Well what you need to understand, and this goes for anybody who wishes to say negative comments to the tune of "They forgot this!" or "This was too long! they should have shortened this part!" or "Where was So-and-So?". If your going to compare the books to the movies get ready for dissapointment every single time. The books are the interpretation of the author. The movies are the interpretaion of the director, producers and other such staff on the set. Yes JKR watched over the production of the movies, but they are still a different interpretation by far. These interpretations are even futher then what they were intended because every person who has read the books, has a different view of the characters, the plot line, the setting, the props, etc...So instead of comparing the books to the movies, compare the storyline of the books, to how well the movies follow that storyline. I guarentee you'll be able to see them both in a much more positive light and really see that the movies are following the books extremely well. Sorry if I sound rude or obnoxious with this post, I've just been dealing with people ever since the movie came out who have done nothing but complain, and I'm fairly sick of hearing it already....x.x' I highly enjoyed the movie, as you guys did, and yes I agree that there are a few things missing and /or aded on that eiher need or don't need to be there, but fact of the matter is, it's fine with those changes anyhow... Thank you for listening. ~*Fiory*~ [/glow]

Exactally Fiory! That's exactally it!
However it does puzzle me that they didn't put any classes in. Oh well, like you said, it would've added another good twenty or so minutes on. I like the moving quill, and of course... who can forget when Snape was shoving their heds into the books. I swear that was one of the funniest parts in the movie. They did very, very well with the special effects, the merpeople. Excellent, simply excellent, and the grindylows! Se tre Magnific! (I know, it's probably spelled wrong, I can say it but I don't take french)

The movies sucked completely. It was the biggest insult to the books out of all of them. I could go on and on. Ron looked like a girl! That's not too bad because that could have been the way the director imagined his hair, but they make him out as a coward. The first part of the book was turned into like, five minutes! Mrs. Weasley wasn't even in it! Hermione became a prep, and what the heck happened to the Beuxeboutan school and the Durmstrang school! Their was only girls and than only boys! And what was the "ahh" part all about and the backflips and the sticks!? IT wasn't a performing circus! Also, there was no challenge in the maze! No charms, no monsters, naddu. Just thin hedges! I'm disgusted entirely, and I feel bad for the poor books, sabotaged they are.
