A long, silent lope along the perimeter of the neglected human settlement is where Frost found herself on this new day. Her pure white coat rustled in the frozen wind that blew every which way. Ears were flat against her head with the attempt of keeping all noise out.
The snow beneath her pads crunched with every new step she took. She was leaving a clear path for the varg she hoped would find her. Every pad print seemed to stare at their owner as she moved along, towards an old house. Every so often, there would be a group of pads that would be closer together, because every few feet Frost would ease into a jog, only to slow down again.
The bitter cold had taken over Transylvania in these last few weeks. A blanket of snow lay over everything, keeping the heat trapped inside. Normal kerls had banded together just to stay warm and not freeze to death. Several other lera had already made this mistake, and dead bodies made a good reminder to all who survived that winter was not a season to be fooled with.
As Frost came into view of her destination, she paused, threw her nose to the air, and sniffed. She thought she smelled him, but she wasn't sure. She continued on. It wasn't until several minutes later that she reached the little house. She laid down and turned her head to her side. She examined the now pink scar that adorned her side, and was a painful reminder of how dangerous the wild really was. That was the last time Frost had seen him. This would be the first time in quite a while.
She laid her head down and closed her eyes, waiting for him to come. Her daydreams brought comforting images of the sun and warmth. Not wanting them to end, she laid her ears flat again, blocking out all noise.

The last few days had been quite hardy for Blitz, the pack just recently getting over the death of their alpha. Whom Blitzen had never met, for at the time he died, Blitzen had just joined, thanks to the beta who took him in. Other than Frost, he also didn't socialize or meet much with the other members, he just wandered around, doing his best to get food and help. Blitzen wasn't the kind to go off and be noticed, he liked the sidelines, falling in with everything seemed to be a more comforting idea.He had recently fallowed Frost, into the thick, snowy land of out way Transylvania. He wouldn't so much call it stalking her, but more of tracking. His legs felt stronger, and his recent round trip with the bear seem to have healed so he felt more on top of things. Otherwise Frost was seeming to be wandering to the settlement, the one where the talltailess' used to live, and now only the ghostly presence of them, and the faint smell kept it alive. Each footprint was unique, and Blitz had Frost's memorized, each little line on her pad that made a print in the snow, he could never mistake it. He slowly fallowed in her tracks, no hurry. He was also quite amused by how the stride would often be longer than others when she slowed down or sped up.
A soft breeze picked up and Blitz had to shield his eyes from the sputter of snowflakes flying at his muzzle. As anyone would think, it wasn't exactly the best day to be out, frost nipping at your fur. It wasn't like this so much last time he was with Frost. He could never forget seeing her in the state with her own blood, pooling. She turned out okay, but with a terrible cost of a hefty scar. He could now more face the feeling of it, how the world just spun knowing that she was harmed. The feeling his gut got, the worry, the panic. This wasn't just friendship, Blitz felt for her, but didn't yet know if he should rightly admit to it. He always felt insecure about these things, or maybe just paranoid, but maybe it is always best to just move slow.
Soon the wind settled, and blitz found himself at the top of a hill. He could see the small nests in the distance, some half exposed, some fully blocked. Then far in the corner he spotted a black-tipped tail head into one of the nests. Blitzen jumped inside. It was defiantly Frost all right. He picked up his speed, and sometimes slipping in the snow, but after the short jaunt he reached the nests' entrance and saw Frost laying, almost looking worn out, sleeping on the ground. Blitzen gave a sideways wolf smile, "Is everything all right?... Frost."
didn't really have time to check it over :]

Frost jumped up, startled. But her heart stopped racing whenever she saw Blitz. She rushed forward and licked his muzzle affectionately. Her heart started racing again, but this time not from fear. Every moment she had spent with Blitz had been adventure filled and crazy fun.
No other varg, mann or femme, that she had associated herself with had been that way. They all had their quirks and things that they did that made them interesting, but that wasn't what she was looking for. She was looking for adventure, death-defying stunts, and that thrill that you got whenever...just, whenever.
She shivered slightly as the snow and wind blew, but not as badly as she would have if she were outside. She laid down, and looked up at Blitz.
"How've you been, Blitz? Since the bear?" Frost asked. Ever since the bear attack, she had been shaken and almost scared to travel alone. She knew that she would not go near the forest of Koran by herself, and certainly not at night. i am so rusty with frost, it's not even funny

He looked to see the still ball of white and black fluff jump in surpries the run over to greet him. Blitzen smiled, but he was startled himself when she jumped. Frost ran up to greet him, and Blitzen greeted her back, and nuzzled her ear. "It's nice to see you." He said with a hidden chuckle. "Well, I've been doing fine, a little more selfcauntious about hunting alone, but I'm fine." Blitz glanced at Frost wound, still pink and healing, "I hope you haven't had any troubles." And then Blitzen wondered how this could effect them, they were currently in a war with Balkar.
He cringed at the cold, and not even his thick winter coat could keep all of the sheerness of it out. "What brings us all the way out here, in bad weather?..." A crooked smile came and went on his face, "Is the bold Frost up for another adventure and strains of danger?" And Blitzen could almost tell too, everytime he was with Frost, a little more than out of the ordinary happened, but that had just always made life more fun, but he still couldn't face the fact of seeing Frost hurt yet again. Blitzen lowered his head, "Well... But... You have-to-be careful!" He made sure to empasize the 'careful' part, he felt like a parent this way, but he'd wrather call it being a friend. Though that just led to another chuckle, because he knew Frost, She wouldn't listen. But I know she'll try.. She's strong. He simply just licked her muzzle briskly and tilted his head.
haha, did you say Lyra?

Frost smiled. "A new adventure would be great. I haven't had any fun since the bear attack. And yes, I'm calling that fun. So what kind of trouble can we get into today?"

"A new adventure would be great. I haven't had any fun since the bear attack. And yes, I'm calling that fun. So what kind of trouble can we get into today?"
Blitzen almost laughed as his mind reeled, what had all happened that day, "Well I'm glad you had fun then, but as for that deer we caught, tasted delishious!" He scanned the place, what could you do in a broken down, human town? He snorted, well he'd find out! He did indeed, and he started his idea in a nice, soft voice. "So... Frost how about we---CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!" and with out a moment to soon, he bolted out of the door much fallowing his name. Well where ever this would lead them, it would lead them somewhere. Yes they did look like pups about to play a game of chase, but who was around to care. In camp Blitzen rarley ever got to play like a pup, everything was more serious. He bounded through the nests, swirving through a half-up looking stall with odd bars that reached up like trees. He jumped through a whole in the wood and kept going, then every now and then looking behind him to see who was fallowing.
Blitzen backed up behind a house, he didn't spot her at the moment, but knew the Frost was more cunning than she looked. That anything could set her off. As Blitz backed up he heard a piece of chilly winter ice crack behind him. He turned, but it had gone, behind the corner maybe. So Blitzen took a step forward, in hunting possition, all his steps mute, and as he was inches to look around the corner, he steadied himself for what was to come. He looked around and.... sorry for the wait, I needed an idea

Frost jumped when Blitz yelled for a game of catch. It took her a second to react and when she did, she was off. She followed Blitz through the many decrepit human dwellings and old buldings. She lost him halfway through his course.
She dropped her head to the ground and sniffed. Her nose was filled with thousands of other scents, ranging from lera to extremely faded human scents. Her brain sorted through these scents in nanoseconds, looking for one specific smell.
It never reached her, though, so she ran to the perimeter of the settlement and circled it. She didn't spot him, so she again relied upon her scent. She found a dwelling, and his scent was strong upon it. Frost turned the corner and saw him standing there.
"Boo."

It was a thriller, and Blitzen's heart was beating so fast and loud he swore that even Fernis high up in the world of Gods could hear it. And then as his nose crept around the corner, his inability irprepared. He just reconized the white, but with startled prescence. He had known it was her behind the corner, but no matter what he couldn't go against the 'boo' factor.
He nearly jumped out of his skin, his heart stopping, his legs were automatically put on cruser, but it took his footing a while to go anywhere, like a little dog on wood floor just trying to get away. He bolted once again, toward Frost, but it didn't matter, once he got over the shock, and was about ten yards away he fell down laughing, his tail nonstop wagging. He could never have had this much fun with any other wolf, not even a sibling. but he couldn't stop making the husky breath noises, not coughing, but laughing, and his tongue dangling, making puff of steam in the bitter-cold air. "Ahhaha. You got me!!" And then he nodded his head away and back, "10 second head start!" He looked at the white figure. This couldn't last forever, but sooner or later, somthing could, right now, he just felt like bonding with Frost, but wasn't sure how he could, or to what extent. Blitzen turned around. Not looking what way she went, or would go. Instead he pictured in his mind, the most likley places Frost would go, maybe that tall building that looks like both rock and wood, that really long, skinny nest, or the one colored like the sun.
ooc- might seem a little boaring now, but I got somthing in for my next post.

Frost laughed at Blitz. When he announced her 10 second head start, she instantly turned and ran off in the opposite direction. There were several places she could have hid, but she chose a yellow human dwelling.
She disappeared inside. There was a collapsing wooden thing, and several burnt pieces of cloth. Frost's thoughts wandered, and she started to think about what might have happened at this dwelling. not very long but i had no idea what to say lol

Blitzen turned around, so he didn’t know the exact way she was going at first, but even though a wolf can track and smell, it would be a ‘mere’ challenge. Blitzen knew exactly when Frost had left, the hurried steps of her paws slowly fading off into the town, and the steady beat of his counting climbing higher, 6…7…8…9… That was it, Blitzen turned around and leaped off after, she had the only other paw prints in the town, and her smell, he knew that by heart. He fallowed the freshest tracks, but he was scared he was falling behind, for the town was big and Frost just may be able to run around a house a few times and speed off again. So he picked up the pace, running. The town was indeed big and Blitzen knew he wouldn’t get absolutely anywhere on a never-end chase.
Up ahead he saw a Yellow house, perfect! But as he run his way over there, he was distracted, above him he looked, a nest with sharpened, stone objects hanging and crossed. As if they were on display. He sniffed and took a step in, the place smelt like human’s dead fire mixed with rock. And all over held wood, metal, sharp objects that took fancy to Blitzen’s eyes. He forgot about the game, and finding Frost, because he remembered these extra-long sticks that stung sharp. He thought of his old pack, and the humans, how odd they could be, dressed up in many different coats and fought, not with teeth and claws of course, but with these things. Blitz envied them, yes he loved to take down prey and what not with his own weapons, but this, this could be something different, revenge? Is that what drove him?
Blitzen walked up to one of the sharp object on the wall, it smelled of dust and he tried not to sneeze, but he pointed his nose up to touch it, it poked sharp in the bitter frosty air. And it fell, making an array of clatter, and noise. Blitzen sprang back in surprise and fear. Just because a human wasn’t holding it, didn’t mean it wont hurt him. The sword landed in the sunlight, making the frost around it gleam and sparkle, for a moment, Blitzen thought it was holy. He took a step back only to get it stuck in the floorboards. He grunted and tried to pull it out, but then Blitzen realized, that around him, all of the floorboards were breaking, and he’d soon fall. Blitzen whined and howled, ..FROST!.... Just then, Blitz’s weight went through the floor boards and into the cellar bellow, and the next thing he knew he felt a sharp pain in his rib, and a small grunt came out of his mouth. With his vision blurred. Ooc- Well you could always make a detour or go ahead slightly, anything really, get distracted like I did. I wouldn’t mind =) If you have to feel free to powerplay

Frost was pacing back and forth inside the yellow house, her heart pounding and the adrenaline pumping. There was no feeling like that of the hunt, especially when you were the prey. It was like a drug that created the most powerful high in the world; one that could kill you if you weren't careful. Her snow white ears pivoted back and forth, and at the slightest noise she would pause and listen. You could almost call her actions the different stages of paranoia.
Frost was just about to peer outside when she heard her name. It reverberated around her head, and she recognized the voice as that of Blitz's. It sounded like he was in trouble. But, there was the one thought tugging at the back of her mind: What if its just a ploy to get me to come to him? You don't want to lose the game that quickly, do you?"[/i]
This thought echoed in Frost's mind, but she ignored it and ran out of the sun dwelling and towards the direction of Blitz's call for help. Her nose led her in the direction of Blitz's scent trail, which was almost exactly the same as hers. Up to a certain point, though. That certain point brought her to a building that looked the same as the others, but in some way was still different.
She clumsily stumbled inside, and realized her mistake too late. It was an instant drop, and her stomach lurched as she fell. Frost spun in the air, and landed on the hard ground with a dull thud. She was only stunned, so she was able to get up and look around.
The cellar she had fallen into was basically a booby trap. One wrong step, and you'd be meeting the Gods faster than you would've thought possible. There were so many sharp and yet attractive sharp objects. It took all of Frost's will power to not just sniff one of them. And then she saw Blitz.
"Blitz, I don't know if you can here me, but whatever you do, don't move."

All he could think was hurt, pain. Wood jabbing into his legs which soon grew numb. His vission soon cleared and he felt the world around him spinning, and he begged it to stop, and the gods to release his pain, without letting him go. All of the splurred dust had finally settled and all over the fallen boards have finally stopped creaking in the stone cellar, used for keep holds and whineries. He coughed, and spit out everything he managed to choke up. He started to hear more footsteps, were they Fernis who was finally coming to get him? No, he looked up the story and saw white only, feet from the door, Tor? then as he realized who it was, the figure didn't float down to him like expected, it fell. Then Blitz reconized the black tail and left paw. FROST! At that moment he sent his thanks to Sita, she was here, but she had fallen too! Was she all right?
He stopped thinking, pain still coming as he heard his own heart beat inside his head. Frost was above him now, Talking. but Blitzen's mind couldn't make out the barks and whines, it only came as gibberish to him. But he didn't move, he couldn't. His wounds were clear, and luckly not as bad as could be. "Frost....You're here-" But his sentance ended in an array of coughing. He had a damadged rib or two. And a wooden splint cutting into his leg. If he'd been only two feet away he'd have that wouldn't splint trough his vital orgins and would sure be dead. I'll never trust human nests for as long as I live! He thought groaning in pain, Maybe they should work on their building strategies, but it wasn't a surpries... These places are forever old! He cursed in his mind.
His mind wouldn't function, but somehow he knew he'd be okay with Frost around. He only needed to heal, or something... He couldn't tell, he wasn't a healer or a nure! "Damn..." He groaned once again. But as his eyes looked up, he only saw Frost's shinning white face, she was stunning. It was a wonder how quite a Fae like her would choose a fool like him. He kept smiling, and wouldn't stop. She didn't need to be worried. Even if they were an odd bad-luck team whenever they were together, that wouldn't stop the way he felt about her. even if he had all of his ribs broken and a million splints through his legs. Face it.... I love her.

Frost paced back and forth, trying to think of a way to get Blitz out safely. The blood rushed to her wolven head, and it started pounding. She whined sadly."Blitz, can you get up? Or are you too injured?" She wanted desperately to be down there with him, but she didn't want to risk hurting, or worse, killing herself.OOC: sorry for the wait was suuuuuppppperrrr busy xD

The young man looked up, his eyes clentched tight in pain. He took a breath, letting his heart pounding calm and his blood slow. "Yes, My dear." Blitz spoke, his voice was very calm and soothing. He sat up, biting his toungue as his injured leg rebeled. He saw, it was only a small splint broken off of the floor boards. He knew best not to take it out himself, he could bleed to death, and as for his rib cage, as long as he moved slow and kept off of the ground. He almost got use to the pain. He looked around, praying to Fernis for a way up and down. His wish was finally granted when he saw a small line on stairs crawl down to his level.
"Frost.... Right there." He motioned with his head to the staircase. He couldn't get up it by himself, and maybe Frost could help him up. If not, he was in light hope of another way out. Blitzen took a rappid breath, "Come down, and help me get this out of my leg." And he knew, it was painful just to say it. He was one out of options at this point.
