Alright so a little background info to start.I have a habit of coming up with characters that are human and if I like them enough to role play them I then "wolfenize" them so to speak.
I have to characters I'd love to role play the problem is both have disorders.
One is rather paranoid and timid, scared the world is out to get him. He's very withdrawn and doesn't speak much to anyone but himself. He just doesn't feel safe around others.
The other I wish to role play has something a friend said was akin to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.Due certain events in his life certain tones, movements, and even phases can trigger different personalities.
Basically he's a normal wolf until a trigger is touched. For example he's a fairly normal young Varg until someone yells it'll trigger a memory,a flashback so to speak, and he'll revert to a scared cowering pup in his mind and his actions..Whether or not the yelling was directed toward him.
I ask this because I know many things are a matter of interpretation.Even though Cinder said she had a demon I always thought she was Schizophrenic. So I can easily see someone misinterpreting my characters and thinking they have demons, voices,or split personalities when that's hardly the case.
But because I know they can be taken this way I ask if it's ok if I may create these two with these disorders intact?
Thank you for your time.

Well, I’m no Mod so they are welcome to come in tell me I’m wrong/correct me, but I don’t see much of a problem with it personally.
Over all the years I’ve been here I’ve seen plenty of wolves with various disorders, split personalities 'inner demons' (figurative, not really literal) ect. I myself had one (though she was slightly underdeveloped and I didn’t RP her as long as I may have liked) that was much like the first one you described. Shy, uneasy, afraid. She also didn’t really know how to “act like a wolf.” And about talking to its self, well there is a difference between talking to ones self and talking to an 'inner demon.' As long as you specify he's just talking to himself there should be little room for misinterpretation. I also have one in the works who has a bit of a strange disorder. Likes carrying around dead animals and talking to them, thinks they are his friends. They don't really answer back, and they aren't a separate entity, it's all just in his head.
I do have a bit of a question though, about the one with the flash backs. What would he be flashing back to? Sorry, that question really has nothing to do with anything, I’m just terribly curious.

Tron,
The thing that makes all of us different is that we put a little bit of 'human' into each of our characters. Without our little quirks and flaws, we're nothing more than the same wolf. Sometimes it's easy to pop up a new character and drive right on into roleplaying it, but other times it can be terribly difficult.
I have seen characters with both of these little problems. That doesn't mean I'm about to rag on you for originality, but there is one issue which I will bring up and which will be the final call on this.
You do not actively roleplay the characters you have. Call me a hypocrite if you will, but we do not want to see more characters created by someone who has been around if the ones whom are already here are hardly in existence. Sometimes we may feel that creating a new character would help us wake up and enjoy TS a little more, but in the end we find that we have too many characters and that we cannot keep up with them all.
At this point, you have a choice. You may kill the characters you aren't active with off, or you may create these two characters. Otherwise, you may show us that you can make (and keep) your current characters busy and ask again when you feel the time is right. Should you chose the last route, to simply be active, you must keep your characters as active as possible. Do not be like me and let your characters rot, as I am a prime example of what we do not approve of when it comes to character activity here on TS. :\
We appreciate that you actually took the time to ask and are curious as to your decision. If you prefer, you may respond via Private Message.
Cheers, Wolfbane & Others
