The medow had become a live with color, the once drab winter had given way to the beauty of spring. Flowers were beginning to bloom in the lucious grass and the sky was a radiant blue. The passing of the Drappa of Ge-rad had put a sour note on the winter weather. But now that spring was here the land of Ge-rad could once again pick up.
The meadow's brillant color seemed to higlight the ebony femme that passed through. The colorful flowers stood out against her black pelt. The sleek muzzle of the varg was held low, scenting the meadow that she hadn't visited for a while.
The sable femme moved swiftly through the brush and smaller trees that populated the area. Her sleek auds focused on the sounds of birds and other such creatures that called the meadow home.
Ayasha, as the ebony femme was called, slowed her pace to take in the sweet freedom she felt from the death grip of winter. Her heart was light with the thoughts of another, whose name she kept secretly locked in her heart until the moment would come and she could speak his name. There were probably some in Ge-rad who knew of who she kept secretly locked away in her heart, but there were others who did not know.
Her paws came to a halt as she watched the wind blow softly through the meadow. It's gentle breeze played with her coat and her emerald orbs scanned the meadow with delight. IT had been a while since she had been so light hearted, she wished she could share it with someone.
The wind carried the scent from the rocky craigs that jutted out from the terra. The rocky peaks were barely covered in snow, where as in the winter they had been covered completely. Ayasha let out a howl that echoed in the meadow, she listened to her voice as it was carried away in the wind. How many vargs had howled here before her, how many paws had called this place home?

Indeed, the meadows of Ge-Rad had pulled back it’s white blanket to reveal a mattress of grass and flowers. The skies were no longer daubed with gray clouds, just as the cub remembered it. It seemed that this change in scenery accompanied a touch of warmer air, making the she cub’s coat glow with warmth.
This was quite a change, given the fact that the only thing her blue green eyes had seen for several months had been the cold blanket of snow. Everything seemed so dead then, it seemed to Kehré like the vargs and hares were the only things that seemed to be surviving. But now, everything had changed. There were birds chirping early in the morning, buzzing bees making there was to each and ever flower; and the small green caterpillars that one could see crawling on the leaf stems. Small rodents had come out of hiding, including the ever popular squirrel, which Kehré found it quite fun to chase up a tree.
But best of all, Kehré found it much comforting to travel and observe the lands around. The small she cub hadn’t exactly been allowed to wonder to far, for fear of danger to come. Well, she wasn’t supposed to be wondering around now, either. But still, what her parent’s didn’t know, wouldn’t hurt them. Still, they were always so worried about her well being, and her safety. Especially, her father. With one look at the Kehré, one could see why. Kehré was still a small and disproportional cub, her ivory and silver legs were lengthy compared to her small ivory body. She was often clumsy, her large silver paws were to blame for that. And her bicolor maw was also small and short, still caring most of her cub teeth. Indeed, it was hard to defend any predator in such a state. That never stopped Kehré.
The sound of a nearby howl broke Kehré’s attention with the bee she was watching, to further out into the meadow. Her curiosity burning within her, the cub trotted further to the source of the sound, until her oculars laid upon an ebony form. Kehré distanced herself a little from the fae, her pink tongue lolled out of her maw before giving a short yip back to the pack mate. A simple greeting, as if saying “hey!”. Being cooped up in the den had secluded Kehré from regular pack activity, and from seeing hardly any of the current back members.

When Kenjo had woken from his slumber, he was surprised to see his sister gone from the den. With all the attention placed upon her, the he-cub had never expected Kehré to be the first to leave the den. He grumbled underbreath, rising and stretching his stubby cub form. He was eldest, so shouldn't he have been the first to leave? Huffing in an agitated manner to himself, the cub shook the sleep from his white form. Unlike his sister, he was well-proportionate, for a cub at least, and his snout was sleek, promising to look much like his mother's elegant maw. As for the rest of his body, he was a very masculine-shaped cub, obviously taken from his father. Good thing too, for Kenjo rathered to be like his father, the Beta, rather than be like his Sikla of a mother.
Though in the dim light of the cave it was hard to tell, he was not pure white. Spread evenly throughout his body were red and silver hues that formed at the tips of his pelt, giving him a spray-painted appeal. His eyes he was rather proud of. Unlike his sister, who bore only her mother's eyes, he bore both lineage's eyes. Yes, he was a bi-eyed Varg. One eye was a deep green-blue, while the other, its fraternal twin, if you will, was a golden yellow. But besides his awkward colouring, he was the average wolf cub.
Who now lusted for adventure, and with his sister away from the nest he wanted in on the 'action.' Kenjo stepped from the den, blinking his eyes until they became well-accustomed to the brillaince of the sun. Nose twitching, he sniffed about. Considering he knew his sibling's scent quite well, he was able to find her trail in a jiffy.
He paused from his tracking and wagged his thin puppy tail, a grin placed upon his maw exposing his short stubby teeth. My, he was rather pleased with himself. Suddenly, something caught his large ears and he looked up.
A howl? Oh, maybe this was the adventure he was looking for! And from the scent of it, he could tell that his sister was headed in that direction too. And thus the cub continued his trek, hoping to quench his longing for excitement.

(((Blah, sorry this took forever)))
The howl the ebony femme had uttered from her black pelted belly was followed by silence for a moment, the only sounds were the birds that spoke to one another, as if chastizing her for her rather loud bellow. But shortly, even the birds silenced themselves when a yip broke the silence. It was a yip that only a pup could make. There were two choices, either this was a pup from Yela's litter, or it was Sorcha. But Ayasha wasn't sure how old Sorcha was, so she decided it must be a pup from Yelae's litter.
Turning around her emerald orbs fixed themselves upon a pup, by the scent and look it was a fae. Beautifully decorated with ivory and silver peltage. Definately from Yela's litter. Waggin her tassel Ayasha approached the pup. She was a packmate and as was with Ge-rad customs, she wanted to know every pack member there was.
"Greetings!" She smiled and sat down gently upon her haunches a few feet from the pup. "I'm Ayasha." Her auds swivled for a moment, the sound of small paws traveling through the grass caught her attention. But she didn't know who it was that was coming to join them, or where they might be. But with the coming of spring Ge-rad was going to be full of pups. Even she remembered growing up in the winter and spring time. Till now, where she was.
"Were you expecting company?"She asked with a smile, indicating the rustling of grass.

Black tipped audits twitched atop the young head of Sorcha. To many she would be the spitting image of Cwen, though her manners were the exact opposite. What she knew about her mother were only the things her father had told her, and now she was finally getting a chance to stray from his watchful eyes, though she probably wouldn’t be leaving the pack lands of Ge-Rad yet (or in the near future). Like Kehré and Kenjo, Sorcha was young, she was actually about their age- maybe a little younger- and the two were really the closest to her age in the pack, it was only fitting that she was seeking them out.
Of course, looking for friends wasn’t the only reason the young white and silver cub was wandering about. In fact she had heard the call of another Varg. A melodious how that had seemed to fill the sunny meadow and rung in the youngling’s oversized audits that were now perked atop her head, alert. Sorcha’s eyes -stuck between silver and blue-) searched across the meadow, the changing hues kept looking until she spied a large black she-wolf and, through the grass, a cub more her size.
But before Sorcha had even made up her mind to investigate she spied another figure sniffing his way along an invisible trail, though any wolf that wanted to follow a scent trail could - that is if they knew the right smell to look for. Her head cocked slightly toward her right shoulder she watched and then another voice reached her perked ears. The older she-wolf had been speaking, and was introducing herself. As custom upon first meetings, or at least it was polite. Sorcha wanted to meet this new Varg too.
With a quick and decisive nod the young Sorcha took a fairly deep breath and gave a harsh bark, her vocals still developing she didn’t quite have barking and howling down - not was she all that close with either. Shaking off the odd sound of it she galloped toward the growing group and, with a smile upon her black lips, came to a stop a short ways off, her thick plume swaying behind her young figure.

//sorry for the late response, I was busy. Explanation for the first paragraph: I was observing my puppy : p//
At the sound of her vocals, Kehré watched the ebon fae turn to face the ivory silver cub. This ebon fae held remarkable emerald oculars, no doubt a trademark. Seeing the fae’s larger banner wave in greeting, Kehré couldn’t help but wag her narrow tail as well. As the fae approached, Kehré bent her knees and lowered herself in the grass, as if to protect her underbelly. She knew she probably wasn’t in any danger, but it was somewhat of a puppy instinct she held, and most likely would grow out of. Hopefully, sooner rather than later. Delicately, the cub rolled over on to her side, this time sowing more submission than anything, before rolling over completely before resting on her belly once more. Again, it was more of a cubbish instinct, and a way of showing respect in the varg world.
The grass tickling her thin coated belly, Kehré giggled a little as she stretched her body lengthwise. “Hello!” she chirped, practically gleeful, inhaling a lung full of air. “I’m Kehré!” she responded to Ayasha. Kehré wondered to herself how this fae came to be in the pack, if she was born into it, or other. There was so much to learn, so many faces to learn!
Sitting up, Kehré’s followed Ayasha’s gaze further out, her disproportioned auds flicked with intrest. “No. I don’t think so, at least. And I didn’t see anyone follow me, but then again my brother Kenjo might have. Without me knowing, that is.” Kehré answered. Come to think of it, she didn’t see her brother when she left, which was one of the reasons why she did. She was bored, and looking for someone to play with. Not to mention, get out of that damn den!
Another deeper bark broke the atmosphere, causing the startled cub to nearly jump out of her skin and loose what little balance she held at the young age. Picking herself up, the cub’s blue green oculars laid upon another cub, almost the same age as herself and Kenjo. This fae wore a pelt of white to black, and just about every gray in between. Kehré’s small pink tongue lolled happily out of her open maw at the sight of the she-cub, her tail wagging once again. “I don’t know her though,” Kehré said aloud to Ayasha, though it sounded like she was talking to herself. As the fae approached, Kehré gave another small yip of greeting, before quickly double taking to the area where supposedly another varg hid in the grass. She wondered if it was indeed Kenjo, and if they too would join.

Upon hearing what the older female stated about company, and the he-cub paused in his tracks, one paw hanging in mid-step. So his presence was known...not that he was trying to be sneaky or anything. But still, his large ears twitched back slightly, annoyed with himself. However, his attention was detered from this as a small bark came from his side, and his bi-hued oculars found the form of another che-cub around the age of he and Kehré.
He sat himself down, cocking his head slightly at the she-cub. Letsee, what was her name again...his parents told him once of a young cub around his age, the dragga's daughter, and his father had told him it would be nice if they played together when the time came, considering she was of their age and she had no siblings of her litter to play with.
Back to the name. Sorka...Solka...Sorcha! That's it! But he couldn't get too caught up with his pride upon figuring out her name on his third try, for Kehré had brought him up. The tri-coloured mann perked his ears up, and taking this as his cue, rose and came into the trio's sight.
"Kehré!" Kenjo stated, voice clouded slightly with superiority. After all, he was the older brother. "Why'd you leave the den, hmmm?"
However, he looked over towards the two other females, taking a spot by his sister. Kehré might be acting like a little cub, but no, not he. Hey, someone had to be the mature one of the two. And by the looks of it, it certainly wasn't going to be his younger sister.
"I'm Kenjo," he said matter-of-factly to the two, puffing out his fluffy chest slightly.
//Still getting used to this character...eheh...//

“Hello! I’m Sorcha!” The youngling yipped gleefully as she came to a halt near the two currently present, and the so far yet to show himself male, but it didn't take him long before he was on the scene. Her bushy silver plume swayed back and forth as she happily pondered the thought of having some friends to play with, and two that were her age.
Her father had told her about them, or at least that there were cubs her age. And Sorcha was quite happy to discover this fact.
The male, Kenjo, introduced himself after seeming to chide his sister for leaving the den. But how could anyone stay inside on such a beautiful day? She giggled lightly at his show of 'maturity,' it was so silly for a cub to act older than he really was, especially the shows that some went through to convince others that they were independent. This one choose to hold his chest high.
Sorcha glanced around the group, she'd caught everyone's names, and was now taking time to memorize scents and faces. The older, obsidian Varg was Ayasha, the white fae her age was Kehré, and the silly male was Kenjo. Kehré and Kenjo had to be the brother and sister that her father had notified her of, or she supposed so. They had similarities after all.

(((my apologies for taking so long)))
All of the sudden Ayasha found herself with three pups. How on earth had she wound up with three pups? She knew that Ge-rad was somewhat alive with pups, but all a the same place? She smiled. "I'm Ayasha." She introduced herself to Sorcha and Kenjo. Sorcha was in a way her surrogate sister, seeing as her mother Uskiya took care of Sorcha.
Wagging her tassel in the breeze the black femme smiled at the pups. "So, you must be like the three amigos or something. Since you're all pups, and you might be the only pups in Ge-rad.l" She gave a chuckle, although she wished it were happier times in Ge-rad, but there was always the threat of an attack. As warrior Ayasha made sure to let half of her senses go to keeping an eye out for Sarnes.
"Have you gone exploring much yet?"She asked, waiting for them to respond so she could tell them the tale of the bramble varg, clearly a made up tale, it was usually used to scare little pups. But she figured she could make it more of a funny tale so as not to scare them.
