Name: Yetta Gender: Female Age: Two.
Appearance: Patches the color of cornsilk run through out this femme's pelt, giving her a sunshine glow. The warmth of color is nicely mixed with the sheen of the whiteness of her coat. Though this might seem beautiful, her coat is rather rough looking, and her small stature doesn't give her any extra points. Though she's small for her age, she has some speed, giving her an extra boost, if you will, in hunting and getting away from others who pose as a threat.
Personality: Yetta's a young character, so she's still building up the traits that make her who she is, but she does have little quirks about her. For example, she loves to hunt, mostly the running and the thrill of the chase. Her happiness depends on the outcome though, assuming she catches anything - which is rarely, by the way. And if she doesn't manage to catch even a mouse, she gets frustrated and quickly loses interest in the hunt, so she'll find something else to do. There was only one time she came around to another like herself, and that one time she was scared mindless. She shook and hurled herself to the ground like a coward, and when they actually came to talking with her, she stuttered and stammered, making her awfully shy. But like stated before, she's still young.
Past: Yetta has had a regular pup hood like any other pup out there. She had her mother, father, and a few siblings she could call family. Her family didn't have much of a pack though, mainly just wandering here and there, finding scraps of food the birds left behind. Since her brother, Mag, was older than her, he would often pounce on her and claim dominance, in which her mother would throw him off and scold him. Though when Yetta would say that it was only play, that it was helping her defend herself, her mother would stop her scolding and go to her usual business watching them under a tree.
One afternoon when the family came from hunting, she noticed that something was not right within the family. And that was when the older, more dominant Meg fell ill and gave himself to the gods a few sunsets later. The family fell into silence and play became scarce after that. They mourned for what it seemed like a until a full moon, but they were not the same like before.
It wasn't until almost twelve moons later when the sickness struck again, this time poor old Suk, Yetta's younger sister. Mother gave the pup all the loving she could before she became still. And Yetta realized that it was just her, father, and mother now, and like Mag, they mourned.
When Yetta grew, she became more independent, hunting little mice and weasels on her own. She was still with the family, but her father noticed that they rarely saw her. One winter morning, Yetta was on her own, stalking behind a rabbit when she smelled something. The sickness again. She rushed back to the willow tree where her parents often slept soundlessly, but when she got there, they were gone. She must have looked everywhere, but she couldn't find them, just the smell of sickness that clung to her coat and wracked her senses.
After two moons of searching, she realized that it was hopeless. That's when she gave up the hunt and went off on her own.
