ooc: Sorry it took me a while Willow, I got a bit confused and ended up just copying and pasting the whole thing.
Shafts of piercing sunlight cut through the dense fir canopy. Depth growled, and finally pounced on the rabbit she had been stalking for hours. Its hot, sweet blood poured from its torn neck as she lapped it up greedily. For the first time in months she wasn't thinking of her old pack. She didn't think she would ever find a pack again. She was irritable and quick to anger, but she was secretly lonely and longed for a mate. A tear leaked from the corner of her eye, sliding over the fearsome pattern of scars crisscrossing her face, inflicted by the Balkar wolves who murdered her pack, other wolves who called her "cursed", and other Kerls. She slumped down in the cooling glade. She was useless, unwanted by any pack, hated and feared. Never before had she felt so lonely and unwanted.

IT WAS STRANGE Being in a new place entirely, as a kerl you didn't get used to your surroundings, you saw new things everyday. In that was Willow was happy, grateful almost, in a pack you were sharing their troubles, getting into pack wars, and every day was quite the same. Packs were an eternity of boredom and stress according to Willow.
The slightest cool breeze in the air slowly turned warm as Willow sat in the tall grass. Fenris raised his head, calling down warmth to the vargs below. The heat felt good as it settled onto her feathery blonde fur. The hard ground softened with the temperature. Finally getting hungrier Willow leveled herself up. She pulled her head back hearing a few pops and she stretched joints. Her stomach grumbled unhappily. Willow didn't go for he large blood lust hunts with deer and other herla, but lived off vegetation and small animals, sometimes even fish. Running into the trees and away from her grassy sanctuary she lowered her head and began to seek out food.
Most wolves didn't ask this question, but Willow did, 'What will I eat today?' Mainly with wolves it was whatever they could get, but with Willow she had learned there were so many things that could be eaten. Hearing the sound of water nearby she lifted her head from a stalking position and trotted over. The flowing sound of a creek tickled her ears. Before she would go for any fish she lowered her head and drank deeply enjoying the freezing water. She got back up and sighed. Willow began wading into the narrow creek. She kept her nose only about an inch away from the water straining her eyes to look for fish through the murky water. Seeing a quick movement in the water she directed her attention to her left.
She saw a back fin trace the top of the water in a serpentine pattern through the water. With fish it was hard, because they could easily dive lower and they would be gone. Willow slid her paw underneath so she could get it if it dived. She threw open her jaws and sank her teeth into the fish. Willow prided herself with her catch and slowly got out of the water with wet legs. After crushing the life out of her prey willow dropped it on a rock and began to eat the fish happily. Willow could'nt help but wonder if it was normal to eat fish.
I rustling sound alerted her. Finishing up her fish she looked over to see nothing but dark leaves. Convinced she walked over. It wasn't like her at all to wonder into danger, or even another wolf, but she was curious, and if it was another wolf, even with her breakable look she could easily prove them wrong. The smell of blood sifted into her nose. Beginning to trot over she saw a dead rabbit and then a black wolf. She had the nervous 'kerl' look in her eyes. Willow stood there dumbfounded not knowing what to say. 'hello' seemed good enough, "Hello." She said clearly having no idea what to say next.
..... meh pitiful post xc lol please say something next i have no idea what to do xD

Depth stared at the strange wolf standing before her. She was strange indeed, but who was she to judge? She smiled uncertainly, and then realised- this Varg could fish! Clever. "Ummm, hello. I am Depth. Are you a Kerl? I don't know many Vargs who can fish... Are you hungry? I still have some rabbit, the ears are quite good..." WHAT? screamed a small voice in her head. WHY ARE YOU BEING SO NICE?! Depth had always been a loner, ever since her pack as murdered... She pushed the memory from her mind. No. She would have run away from her pack anyway. She ENJOYED being a Kerl, for Tor's sake. But maybe she had been lonely too long. She had missed the company of other wolves. She may make a new friend here. She smiled encouragingly, and waited for the nervous-looking varg to talk.

The varg seemed desperate for contact with someone else, but then again Willow was a bit too, but not a pack wolf. Willow was a bit nervous at the varg's look with their wide eyes. When Depth finally spoke it startled willow a bit at her hysterical excitement.Willow felt she might as well answer her. "I-" But she was cut off by more questioning. Willow waited while the wolf let it out. "I am Willow, And yes, I am a kerl also. And no i am fine food wise for now. Well I guess most prefer the blood lust of the hunt, I feel anything that can be eaten we are meant to eat." She said in her flowing voice. Willow's thoughts went back to what she had been planning every since she parted from her mother. Mate and children. She had always fantasized about having four small warm bodies wriggling against her stomach with her mate watching overhead. Most thought of getting into a pack and found her wishes strange, but she had always wanted it, even when she was barely a year.
It was about mid-day now and the shadows had gone because the sun was straight overhead. The kerl seemed to want to chat, so she allowed. Though she never meddled with others, choosing to walk away when others are present.

Depth looked at the strange varg and the faraway look in her eyes."I'm sorry if i came across as insane, I've just not talked to anyone in a long time... Are you a Kerl by choice? My pack.. they were murdered.." Tears sprang to her eyes, but she blinked them away. "That's interesting. I once had to go a whole moon surviving on fish, because my pack fled their boundaries to escape the Balkar. It would be nice to join a pack again, but I think it would get a bit boring, every day, doing the same thing." Exhausted with talking so much, when she hadn't talked in months, she lay down on a warm patch of pine needles, enjoying the stillness of the forest.

Willow listened politely, though she cared of nothing of the varg. While she apologized Willow looked up at the sun, normally, a wolf's pupils would have shrank instantly, but Willow's didn't, for she had none. The light didn't bother her. She easily saw the round ball of fire in the sky without being blinded. The kerl seemed to not notice at first, she would see in time. "Yes, by choice, left my mother in search of a life with a mate and cubs." When the wolf began to give a teary confession Willow just watched her face with no remote interest in her feelings. "I don't want to join pack scum. All it is, is having your troubles amplified so others have to worry about them, and vice-versa, also, you have to worry about gods and pleasing others." Willow mumbled with slight disgust in her tone. Willow had slight belief on Zostar, but not enough to go around worshiping silly things. Though she disagreed with how he viewed the world. Zostar decreed that the world was made perfect, this world wasn't even close to sane.
Willow laid down too, but not very close. She sat about 4-5 feet away staring at the sun. "I don't believe in Tor and Fenris, but I do in Zostar. I do disagree with one thing. Zostar decreed that the world is perfect, which it isnt even close to." Willow sighed and kept staring up at the sun, or 'fenris' waiting for her to be proved wrong.
..... hehe drama, well at least as much as you'll ever see from Willow xD

She blinked at the strange varg, fear swelling up inside her. If you had to believe in the gods to join a pack, she was doomed to eternal loneliness. This varg wanted a mate and cubs, but not a pack? Even Depth had mpre of a chance of finding someone. She had sneered at her dreams of a pack, but at least Depth had a chance in a pack. There were few male Kerls, and most of them joined the Balkar after a few months.
This varg seemed to hate her. She wished that she knew why. The varg kept staring angrily at the sun, was there something wrong with her eyes? Depth stifled a gasp, this was a varg like her brother , who had no pupils! Her mother had called him blessed, but.... She drove the thought from her mind, lowering herself to the ground and staring at the wolf who obviously hated her.

Still staring boredly at the flaming sun testing her ability to look at it without eye problems. The wolf was mumbling about something. Perhaps it was about her. But she knew it was when she heard her give a gasp. She thought it was about her eyes, but just in case she look away from the sun to look at her. Staring straight at her would probably startle her more about her eyes, but no matter. She needed to make sure wher (as in willow, not u lol) wasn't in danger. She layed down with a calm sigh. She tucked her lower legs underneath her chest. The rock was cool, but warming. As the heat continued to rise Willow was beginning to wish that she could go back into the water. Letting it come more and more for the need Willow abruptly got up and headed to the water. "I'm going swimming," She mumbled. She wasn't sure if she could hear or not. But it didn't really matter. It was just enough of an excuse to get in the water without the wolf getting all emotional about Willow leaving her, the varg seemed like that stuff came easily. Willow stepped in enjoying the wet. Willow made it all the way in and just sat there enjoying it for a few minutes hopefully, she would spend them without speaking of the varg's horrid life that she might claim about. Most kerls had many sob-stories. She had been witness to many. Parents were killed, pack kicked them out, blah blah blah. All willow ever heard was excuses to not forget. I mean really. So what if they are dead or gone? Forget it, they cant be brought back by ruining your life. But if that was what they chose to be their destiny, willow wasn't one to tamper with it. Willow was wondering if the varg was one of those clingy wolves. Hopefully not. She didn't need a little adolescent following her around in place of whoever she lost.
Willow lowered her head under, looking around without having to focus her vision. She saw little minnows and plants. Her eyes made up for the lack of contrast in the murky water, allowing her to see even the smallest detail in the sand. Her face was very cool from the water. But after awhile of her back burning in the sun she pulled her head backup and rolled around to cool it. Remembering that she was with a strange wolf and that the water was a very vulnerable place Willow swam back and lay down on the rocks. The wasn't sure where the varg was. But she didn't really care. She just layed there looking at the ground waiting for something to happen, whether it be a mouse run by or Fenris striking her down. Either one would be something new.
... she doesn't hate you, just doesn't care about anything in the world

Depth let herself drop onto the cool bed of pine needles. She had obviously come across as clingy and mournful. The truth was, she had hated her old pack. She only missed having a place to stay. Depth struggled to her paws and loped over to the bank, plunging her muzzle into the water. It ran down her throat, stinging icily. The other Varg had ignored her and clearly wanted to be left alone, and she could scent Herla a few miles away. She slipped into the pool. The water snatched at her coat, washing off billowing clouds of mud. She began to paddle.

[sorry, comp troubles, then when i was almost done my mom got on, then she got mad b/c the comp was slow and closed out of all my stuff xc, been waiting for muse spark, so here it is.]
Willow enjoyed the warmth, but no the beating rays. Her strange pelt color came along with skin sensitive to the sun. Albino you could say, but if so her coat would have a blue-ish hue. Looking over to a place under a tree Willow decided to go. There was thick, long grass that blowed and fanned in the warming breeze. She licked her chops eagerly and pulled herself up. Willow trotted to the place and got down, resting her back against the smooth bark. The sun continued to beat on the mirroring creek, making it glitter, in a way. She watched it sparkle and throw light around with curiosity. Willow pulled her shoulders in and rested her head high up to get completely in the shady spot. If the varg continued to share her space without asking she was most likely to be nipped and growled at. It wasn't natural for varg to get along so perfectly, hopefully the wolf would know a bit of wolf-like behavior around overs. She looked up to see the strange open-hearted varg twirling around in the water, seeming to take in a follow-the-leader fashion around her.
Willow pulled herself tighter into the shade and rubbed her moist muzzle in the grass enjoying the cools lush grass as it ran over her eyelids. Feeling a bit pup-like she rolled over and began to roll in the grass so she could feel the cool all over her body. After a few seconds she quickly learned why she saw the younger generations doing this so often. Before the varg turned around she pulled back up to her position from before, but saw that she had most likely seen it. But then again, who was she to care if one lonely varg at the bottom of social class thought lowly of her. And she wasn't one to object to smites from others. Willow began to lick her fur smooth from where her fur had stood up, mainly on her legs, and paws. Feeling a twig or pine on her neck she pulled her back leg up and kicked it loose. After so much acting out behavior, in her opinion, she settled back down in her pose, with each hair in place. The smallest feeling in the pit of her stomach made her ears perk. It was a mix of melancholy, embarrassment, and timidness. But then again, she had not gotten this close with a varg that wasn't at least a far of relative, which was mainly her mothers and three cousins. She pushed the feeling away and continued to sit very still. After a minute or so of watching the varg swim around she close her eyes, still with her head leveled perfectly. She enjoying the warmth on her cold lids.

The cooling water swirled around her joyous body, swishing her fur and wiping off clouds of dried mud. Fenris's golden rays filled her to the brim with joy. She had already forgotten about the Herla, instead splashing around and enjoying herself. Feeling guiltily cub-like, she turned around to see the other varg roll about in the grass like a newborn pup. She smirked. For all this varg's stand-offishness, she actually looked happy.
Depth turned, and dived down, wondering if any fish were there so that she could show off, to show Willow that she could fish as well, even though she had no idea how to catch one. Her powerful legs churned the water as she swam down. The tendrils of pondweed gently stroked her, and she swam closer, enjoying the feeling.
The pondweed grabbed at her paws. She struggled, kicking it away, but it clung onto her back legs, it's soft fingers suddenly as hard as iron. The air stung her lungs as the water tried to push in, and slowly she stopped kicking, and helplessly resigned herself to her fate.

sorry i stretched the board
[ooc- oh n btw, willow doesn't rly save or help other wolves... but i change so u can live. Next time u might drown xc]
Willow sighed happily as the sun warmed her body. After listening to the varg splash around in the water Willow layed her head down letting the sounds calm her. She heard a few starlings chirp above her in the aspen tree. Willow perked her ears to the little peeps. She heard a loud 'PLOP' in the water. The varg had most likely slipped, but she would be fine, last she saw her she was in the shallow end. Willow sat with her eyes still closed listening to the birds. After a moment she realized that the sound of the varg swimming around happily had stopped. Willow tore open her eyes. She didn't need to adjust to the bright light in them thankfully, but she didn't like what she saw. The varg's tail drifted out of sight in the now, very murky water. Willow yanked herself up, tearing up grass. She lept up and ran straight into the water. She splashed in loudly. Using her advanced eyesight to see the water's contrast the easily made out the varg. She was tangled in the weeds below. Willow kicked hard and hooked her jaws around her back. She wasn't sure if she was biting her to hard, but it didn't matter if she got a few cuts, it was better than death. Willow's neck muscles burned as she pulled her up. She realized she wouldn't be able to lift her this way. She yanked her up a bit then swam under her and kicked her using her strong back legs. Willow paddled underwater until Depths head hit against the dirt shore. She swam out and put her jaws around her neck again and pulled her up just enough so she wouldn't go back in. Willow nudged her as she begun to lose her caring melancholy to her.. Willow stepped up on her and bounced in her chest to get her awake, which seemed to do something else as water dribbled down her muzzle.
Willow sighed, knowing she could hear her now. "Next time you will have a watery grave, don't present what you don't have." She said in her wise deep tone that seemed to make everyone obey her. She scolded herself for helping the kerl. It wasn't like her. Normally she would just walk away from a drowning wolf and sleep soundly that night. But for some reason she felt attached to her. Attachments are what kill you, or at least your heart. She needed to focus on the wolfs cons to lose it. Listing stupidity and disdainfulness on the top Willow easily walked back to her stop fuming over both their actions.
I couldn't help it xc I did a five minute sketch/draw of willow happy moment, lol

The blinding water stung her eyes, and hot blood trickled down her back. Silently she cursed herself. How STUPID! She never made mistakes. If she had been Willow, she'd have left her to die. Filled with shame, she crawled over to a patch of shade and began to clean herself up. She didn't dare look at the other varg, who definitely saw her as pathetic and weak now. What a sorry excuse for a Kerl, she thought miserably. What a stupid thing to do.
The sky darkened, and a few drops of rain fell. She was cold and wet, but didn't want to be thought of as even weaker. She would have thought that if a wolf saved another wolf's life, they must like them a little bit. But she wasn't sure about Willow.

Willow sat back down in her spot fuming over the encounter. She mumbled unhappily and pulled her head back once again. She tasted the vargs blood in her mouth. Willow grinned in her head. The varg deserved a good bite, teach her to keep away from the water. Willow switched back to her wild wolf self, and not the friendly little kerl she had been. It was time she dropped the act she put up for others. It was what drawed these foolish creatures that shouldnt be allowed to hold the name of wolf. Blood dripped down its back as it walked away from the spot Willow had dropped it. A wet droplet hit her nose making her jump away from her thoughts. She looked to to see the darkening sky. Willow wriggled backwards until her flank rested against the tree. There werent any other places near that you could really stay dry. It started to walk over to her hoping to share her soft bed and cover of the rain. Normally she would completely ignore her, but there was an exception to her kindness. Willow leapt into a crouch and snarled a warning. Her kind, weak, and fragile look shattered away revealing a menacing wolf that could easily take anyone in a fight. She pulled her legs in making them claw at the ground. It created leverage for a jump if the wolf didnt comply. Suddenly feeling a bit stupid Willow sat back down. The wolf wouldnt even think of defense. One, she was a coward. Two, the was hurt. Willow enjoyed both of those answers and calmed down. Whenever the wolf looked at her or even stepped closer Willow let out a low, but menacing warning growl. Finally after a few paraniod moments Willow layed down. The rain began to come down a bit harder now, and she wasnt about to share space with It.

Anger burnt through Depth's veins. How dare she! Willow thought that she was weak. Weak and pathetic. This varg was bitter and cold hearted. It made her angry.A growl tore through her throat. Her lithe body tensed, and she bared her teeth. She would show her. She would show everyone. She was not a coward.
She sprang forward. Her teeth and claws glimmered through the rain. Her eyes were filled with fury.
