Her bright mismatched eyes watched as her traveling companion laughed at her teasing actions, literally sending him on the ground laughing. Excited to have such an effect as well as see him act like such a pup made her fill with happiness and warmth. Cairo joined his laughter, quieting only to hear his question accompanied by his own reply. They had been playing this game since they began travelling together to Deor where they wished to join the honorable ranks. Having just met they hoped to strengthen their relationship or get to know eachother better before they met the entirety of their pack that would hopefully be Deor.
Seeing how much Dakota's past seemed to bother him, Cairo was eager to tell him of her own or rather how much in common they still did share. With a calming smile with her smooth rich voice she told him about herself. "I'm an only cub too. My parents weren't very fertile so I was the lucky cub as they said in my pack. I was originally supposed to take over the pack but I didn't want to so my parents appointed the betas' oldest cub to be the predecessor." Thinking of her pack left her with many happy memories not yet shrouded with her missing them because their seperation was still only days in the making.
As if lightning hit, Cairo suddenly stopped in her tracks sending her auds in full tilt, nose quivering and ice blue and hazel orbs scanning the area. Slowly she wagged her tail until it was full speed, her orbs shining with an eager gleam as she suddenly jumped around in a small circle where she had last stood. Yipping excitedly she playfully nipped at and around Dak's ears as well as neck. "This is it! This is it Dak! It's Deor!" Unable to contain her pride or anticipation further she just as suddenly pushed her cream head into Dak's shoulder, her forelegs splayed before her ready to tackle him which she executed with accuracy as he was not expecting it.
Once hovering over him she smiled yet quickly realized that she was stretched around and over the handsome ebony varg with the glowing emerald orbs. Swallowing she simply stared down at him unsure of what to say or do and more awaiting for him to respond in some way being frozen in her actions.

Nodding his head heavly Dakota swivled velvet covered ears to catch the pretty fae's words. "I don't blame you...", he said at last. His voice taking on a light airy tone. "I would never have been able to take control over my family I don't think....I was always destioned to go off on my own...and maybe someday become the Dragga of my own branch of family." The words sounded odd even in the ebon male's ears. They were journying twards pack lands now. He would never be a Dragga...but maybe someday he would have a mate of his own. The thought made a smile curve across his muscled jaws, shining white agianst his black pelt.
When Cairo's additude suddenly morphed into uncontolable excitment, Dakota knew they had reached the Deor pack lands, even before the words came flooding from her creamy maw. Quickly joining into her "dance" he began to wave his dark bushy tail in the breeze, trying hard to match Cairo's speed. Pretty soon his whole body seemed to be moving in the same waving pace that his tail had took on, each muscle rippled as the excitment flowed through his limbs. Cairo's playful nips only to served to bring the male's spirit to another level of ecstasy. Pausing for a second he opened his sleek jaws and let out a deep howl, letting out all the air and feelings in his body flow into that one long note.
He didn't have time for a long howl though, before he knew it the fae's light body came crashing into him. Toppling over, they somehow ended up a semi-wolf pile, with Cairo's body streached over his. Thinking back to the biginnging of their journy, Dakota remembered he has been afraid to initiate play with the newly discovered fae...afraid of what she would think of him. Suddenly he was glad that the barrier had finally been broken, play was very important in a varg's life...and Dak haden't had much of it in a long time. Blinking his bright emerald eyes a few times Dakota finally leaned forward and gave Cairo a big soft lick in the face, sweeping his pick tounge up her muzzle and between her eyes. Then moving slowly, he shifted his bulky body so that Cairo slid off of him, still he remained laying on the earth's floor. Staring back into the fae's pretty mis-matched eyes Dakota sighed gently. The Deor pack had surly heard them by now...he wondered if they were even watching them now, if they could see his bright eyes sweeping over Cairo's elegant body...and the expression on his face that finally revealed just how much he needed the fae's company.

Suprised yet pleased with Dak's abrupt show of affection, Cairo smiled shyly, her auds pushed back slightly. With a gleam in her eyes she leaned over towards Dak who was now laying beside her and gave him a quick delicate lick on the end of his moist black nose! His howl only further lifted her soaring spirits at their arrival to the lands of Deor so she hoisted herself to her pads and pushed her head back, giving a beautiful yet quite short howl of her own, tail swishing slightly as it lay between her hindlegs. After, she smiled back at Dak, her eyes seeming to glow with pure energy. Cairo wasn't sure if they should wait to be greeted by the pack members or if they should walk further into the territory but she was too excited to decide.
Taking several steps toward Dak she playfully nudged at one of his shoulders so he would get up. "Come on, let's meet them!" Excited she turned her attention to the lands of Deor which encircled them, searching for any pack members that may be making their way toward them at the moment. Her excitement felt like it would simply bubble her up toward the sky in a type of odd varg flight yet her paws stayed grounded in the grass. Nose twitching she could barely wait to see the other pack members and the dragga, Chalos Autumn! She changed the wieght on her feet often, making her almost prance in place as she continued to search for movement, awaiting Dak to get up on his own paws.
Cairo even let out a little whine as her perked auds yearned to hear the returning howl of a varg. She had but arrived in Transylvania several days ago and had already met her expectations to make it to the land of Deor. Confident that she had made the right decision to leave her parents as well as their pack, she couldn't wait for the next series of events of her life. The day was beautiful to match her mood, Fenris high in the cloudless blue sky, with only a light breeze that one could barely detect. Yes, from now on, her life would be perfect or so she hoped to believe.

Lucivar grinned at the two other new arrivals. She’d been staying with the Deor pack for a while before already, so it felt like she had been in the pack far longer than she really had. She laughed softly, the two new members had quite a show going on, and it was obvious to her that they each harbored a deep affection for one another. She decided to make herself known to them, her sleek figurine moving from the shadows into the warm, comforting sunlight.
“Welcome,” She called to the other Varg. “Welcome friends, to the lands of Deor.” She stood proud, but her tail hung down - wagging furiously- for she was no Drappa, but she was the nurse of this pack. She cared for the young that, for now anyway, was nonexistent. Her brown auditives perked up, the fae’s earlier howl had been what made her come out of hiding, of course the fact that they seemed to be having so much fun had also drawn her forward and out of hiding.
Civar moved closer to the two, her dainty paws carrying her form in the manner that a ghost would move, as if she were drifting over the ground. Her previous family had know her for grace and knowledge in caring for the ill and young. She had, on more than one occasion, been found watching over her younger brothers and sisters before she had left home to seek out some needed information. The information that she had yet received from Chalos. Even if they had met only once before. He had… the most enchanting eyes she’d ever seen. Save Synrath’s own misty grays. The multi hued Varg’s attention returned to the two before her. She had yet to even offer name to them. “Oh, yes, I am Lucivar, or Civar if you wish. Nurse of Deor.”

Smiling softly as Cairo returned his lick Dakota remained on the ground as he watched her rutine oh excitment coupled with a soft song like howl. As her excitment grew he figured that it was probaly time to get moving, and she quickly confermed this with her cries of "Lets go!". Rolling onto his heavy black paws Dakota's ears suddenly perked and his emerald eyes trained to a spot in the trees behind the cream colored fae. A new varg was approching, a pack memeber no doubt and he was ready to make a good first impression. Butting Cairo lightly in the sholder with his heavy head he urged her to turn around just as the stranger announced her welcome. Hanging in a low relaxed position the ebon male's bushy tail beat agianst his back legs as it slowly began to wave with excitement...picking up speed with each passing moment.
Walking forward a few steps Dakota was careful not to leave Cairo to far behind him. This was mostly her pack after all....she had wanted to join so bad. "Hello!", Dakota finally called in response. His deep rich voice rung through the air as each not rose twards the heavens. "My name is Dakota...or as my companion likes to call me Dak." He didn't know if he should introduce Cairo or not...he didn't want to speak for her but at the same time he didn't want to sound rude or give the impression that he was ignoring her. Deciding to leave it up to her he simply turned his head into the cream pelted fae's direction and waited for her voice to fill the air.

As suddenly as Dak had nudged her she heard the fae, Civar's voice fill the air so that she quickly turned to face her. Finally, a pack member of Deor! It seemed almost too good to be true but sure enough Dak was talking with the nurse of Deor so it couldn't be a dream. Cairo took a step or so forward so she was even with her companion, her bright two toned eyes still on Civar happily. Her ears were perked happily but her cream tail was low to show respect although it swished by her hindlegs excitedly. Unable to keep quiet any longer she let her voice join the content mingle of the others. "I'm Cairo and we've travelled here to Deor in hopes of joining the honorable pack of Chalos Autumn." She bent her head lower in respect at the mere mention of his name that she held in such high regards.
Without giving the poor nurse a chance to reply she continued her slight speech. "I've wanted to be here more than anything but I must say that without the help of the honorable Tarkah, Drappa of Koran as well as her pack member, Kai, I may not have found my way here." Almost out of breath with her built up excitement she finally quieted herself so that Civar would be able to speak. It was difficult for her to stand before her and be still with the idea of meeting Chalos Autumn on her mind.
Cairo sent a quick dazzling smile at Dak who she nudged a little with her body in sheer happiness. The warmth of his black pelt against her own sending even more thrill into her already excited body. She wasn't sure how much more she could take without 'blowing off some steam' so to speak.

“It is good to meet you both, though -Cairo- I am sorry to say that Chalos is away on business. We are still unsure of who will be subbing as our beta, Crimson, has been absent for the longest time.” Lucivar frowned slightly, she was sad to say these words, especially because Cairo was so ecstatic about being here. The most she was able to do was welcome them to stay until Chalos returned, Deor was always friends to those that needed it, and they were always willing to take in a couple of strays.
The multi-colored wolf managed a friendly smile. “You know how busy Draggas are, especially if they have no Drappa to watch the pack with the. Chalos has a lot of work that he has to get done, twice the work of any Alpha really.” She spoke as if this were any old conversation, she had heard of a war, but with Chalos disappearing so often it seemed very unlikely that it would ever start much less have ever been a reality. But then maybe that was his business. Seeking out more allies. Her tail ceased it’s movements, and her strange, mirror-of-Earth eyes shimmered with her apology.

With this news, Cairo couldn't help but feel her spirits slightly sink yet she hoped not to show it because Lucivar was being so kind to her and Dak. She smiled politely and bowed her head again in understanding as well as a thank you. "I know, it must be hard to be the single Dragga of a pack who must take care of business here and elsewhere." She sighed unable to hide her disappointment any longer as well as wondering why the Dragga was indeed single in the first place. Shrugging the thought she continued. "Thank you for your invitation to stay and I'm not sure about Dak but I'd be more than happy to stay here in these lands!" With that she gave a slight wag of her tail again, her eyes once more achieving a happy gleam.
Even if Chalos was not currently present she would not be dissuaded or discouraged from staying until he returned so that she may become an official member of Deor. Cairo only hoped that Dak would have the patience to wait as well because she was unsure how she would react if he had decided to leave.
The mention of the beta made her think of all the other members of the pack that she had yet to meet which seemed to once more ignite her flame of excitement. Perhaps the wait for Chalos Autumn would be full of introductions so that she would barely notice the passage of time before he returns to his home territory. Once more her cream maw revealed a smile that was mostly directed toward Civar who was so kind her words as well as invitation.

Emerald eyes flashing Dakota's trademark lopsided grin pasted itself across his muzzle. His spirits had taken somewhat of a blow at the news that Chalos would not be there for them to meet. But it was mosty because he knew how much Cairo had been wanting to see him...it seemed to be one of the main reasons she had wanted to travel to the Deor pack lands in the first place. But as he voice suddenly filled the air she seemed to be ok with the Dragga's absence...and with that his spirits soared right back up to their place amoung the clouds.
Laughing lightly he turned to the cream colored fae "You didn't think you'd get rid of me that fast did you? Of course I am staying." He quickly smiled at her letting his white teeth flash in the sunlight before turning back to Lucivar. "Thanks for the invite into your lands", he replyed. "I would be more than honured to wait for your Dragga....I can only imagin the work that he must attend to." Twisting his ears around in diffrent directions Dakota listened for any other sounds that might come from the thick trees behind them...there was nothing, he was surprised that no other varg had heard all the noise they had been making. But then agian he knew how busy they must be with pack business.
Unable to think of anything intelligent to say the big male was slowly retreating into the shyer half of his personality...all the while hoping the 2 fae wouldn't notice.

“You may both stay as long as you’d like. Of course, you’ll have to pardon the others, I’ve yet to meet any more than Chalos and Ingo, myself. This pack, though drawn to it I was, seems to be rather… empty. But perhaps we three are just what it needs to bring life into this land.” Lucivar smiled brightly and, as if to add emphasis, indicated to the Deor pack lands with her muzzle. Her tail wagged furiously behind her.
“Again, I apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you, but it is unbeknownst to me of when he will return.” She dipped her muzzle, she didn’t feel as though she could apologize enough, even if none of them could really do much about it.

Civar was so polite as well as generous in her words to Cairo and Dak that Cairo began to already feel a strong bond between her and Civar. Perhaps silly she didn't dwell on the fact as her mis matched orbs glistened at Dak's playful words. Without warning she turned with to her side where her shadowed partner was snapping lightly at the aud closest to her. Clasping his aud in her jaws she was gentle as she tugged on it with a mischievious smile. There was no way Cairo wanted to see him leave her now that had travelled together as well as gotten to know eachother better. Her feelings for him had begun to grow in different ways yet she wished to keep them to herself unsure of how he felt and afraid of the outcome. Tugging on it slightly she spoke to him through clenched teeth.
"Don't worry I didn't want ya to run off just yet. I still have to make more trouble for ya!." Cairo joked with him before feeling quite silly in the company of Civar by doing such a thing. Catching Civar's form in the corner of her iced blue orb she felt herself get warm in embarrasment lest she realized her affection for Dak. Releasing his charcoal aud almost as quickly as when she had ensnared it she turned her attention to Civar with almost pleading orbs. Hopefully the fae would get the message to not mention anything of her and Dak's relationship that would prove to be quite awkward.
Shaking her cream body a little she let her pink tongue loll relaxed from her now agape maw. "Don't worry Lucivar." Her orbs seemed to smile as she addressed the fae with her calm voice. "However I might have to take you up on the offer to get this land and pack in action!" Wagging her tail she let an excited cub like yip escape to show her enthusiasm about the situation. The idea of her new pack swelled her with a new pride that seemed absent after she left her first pack. Comforting thoughts of what to come filled her mind so that Cairo felt ready to take on just about anything. Hopefully she would be able to be aquainted with many of the other pack members before Chalos even returned.

As Cairo's teeth clamped upon his midnight shaded ear Dakota began to twist and shake his head in playful attempts to rip his aud from her grasp. His emerald eyes sparkled in the sunlight as his head moved and Dakota's rich voice soon filled the air with more rumbling laughter. It burst forth in sharp spurts...almost as if its owner couldn't contain his voice inside him any longer. When Cairo finally let go of his ear Dakota lifted one of his dark paws and placed it over his ear while emiting soft whines from his maw..facking sadness and hurt at the cream colored fae. Dakota kept this act up for a few minutes before he finally noticed that Cairo had turned her attention back to Civar. Clearing his throat Dak quickly dropped his paw and stared back at Cairo and Civar.
Willing the stiff shy feeling to release its grip on his stomach Dakota managed to finally speak. "Exactly!" he said a little loudly. "I'd be more than happy to stay as well...I'm always open for a new adventure. And it definatly would be nice to get to know the pack more before Chalos returned." Taking a step forward Dakota bowed his head a little. "I am sure Cairo is as excited as I am.." glancing over at her cream tinted face Dakota knew he was speaking the truth...he also knew that he was repeating what was already known. Obviously Cairo was excited to go. Clearing his throat again Dakota added "Lead the way" once agian assuring Civar that they were ready.

Lucivar smiled knowingly. She had seen this type of affection many times, she herself held a special liking for two wolves so far. Synrath, who had been the first she’d met, and the very Dragga of this pack. Chalos. They were both handsome wolves, and she liked them both, but she didn’t know them well enough to tell if she liked either one nearly as much as Cairo liked Dakota. Her eyes twinkled, but she said nothing, and pretended as if she didn’t notice anything between the two wolves. It really wasn’t her business anyway.
The multi-hued Varg nodded and turned, her plume whisking slowly behind her. She pranced off toward the center of the pack lands. She was already pretty well acquainted with the land, and was very familiar with the paths that lead to and from certain places. Lucivar was headed toward the dens, the best place to start. Especially since all paths connected there.

Quickly starting so as to keep pace with Civar, Cairo glanced back at Dak to ensure he was following as well. Although she knew he would it made her more comfortable to do so. Looking back at him she scrunched up her cream face sticking out her pink tongue slightly from her maw teasing him. Excited with the prospect of meeting more of her and Dak's new pack's members she let her full cream tail wag slightly as it she held it high. Almost as high she carried her head, mismatched orbs wide with delight. Cairo also kept her auds erect as she was eager to collect any sounds from her new territory. Dainty paws matched with suprisingly smooth paw pads she appeared so graceful as she moved on the path behind the bi colored Civar.
Unsure of how Civar would react she was at first hesitant to make physcial contact however they already seemed to be forming a bond so she took it upon herself to act on it. As she neared the watcher's flank she leaned closer to Civar gently nudging her flank with her cream muzzle and moist black nose. Sending her a gentle smile that appeared more as a mischivious smirk she assumed that Civar would understand her meaning. It was a fae to fae thank you for not mentioning anything about the odd relationship between her and Dak. For Cairo herself did not really know or understand her feelings never mind where their relationship stood. In some ways she was still a little more than excited to finally meet her alpha Chalos Autumn.
Giving a slight sigh she let her one icey orb and one honey hued orb fall to the ground where her fit legs stretched out in stride before her nose. Nares flickering, Cairo's auds fell back slightly against her cream head. The thoughts of Chalos as well as the handsome charcoal male that was travelling with her. Wanting to ask Civar about Chalos she refused to do so in the company of her travelling companion no, friend Dak!
