The rays of Fenris had left the sky and now Tor grew bigger as she climbed higher. The ebon fae was bigger than most and her glimming gold eyes shimmered and reflected into the bemming blue lake. The roaring waterfall eroded more and more rock with each coming moon. The she-wolf wasnt as scared of water like other wolves. In fact she went swimming sometimes though it had grown too cold and the fish had stopped coming up to the surface so she could fish for 'em. She always wished that it could be summer all year long; the water always seemed more beautiful when it was summer time and when Tor shown in the sky like this night. It was unusally quite and every move the fae made had no sense of safty in it. Every strand of fur on her was standing on end; hackles rasing. Her yellow orbs searched around. She saw no sight of danger and tried to relax herself. Then the smell of smoke covered the fae's nose. the scent lead to a pack of humans who were hunting. The stench of freash meat hung in the air mixing with the smoke. She knew she should leave but where was she to go? the fire lights shinned as she raced to the waterfall. Her pelt, pure black, seemed to act as a sheild in the night. She leaped over onto a rock and used it to guid her way behind the waterfall. There was a small cave big enough for three Varg to fit inside to be comfetable. She would always come here to think. If the hunters had dogs with them they wouldn't be able to find her since she used the water to hid her scent. The ebony fae's fur was dripping with water. She felt a cold sensation on her muzzle and suddenly she sneezed. She crinckled her nose and recolied from the movment. The she-wolf watched the hunters trail by. She peered out and saw they were competly gone. She padded out and started to shake her body letting the small water crystles fly off. While she did this the bangles on her paws shook with her body. The fae let out a yawn letting her mezmerizing bright fangs show in the dark of the night. She then padded over to lake to take a quick drink. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth as it lapped up the water. After that she made her way over to the nearest tree and sat on her haunches. She didnt really sleep at night it was more in the morning. Rhe fae then lay down and watched the night Lera come out and play now that the hunters were gone. Though the she-wolf couldn't help but think that she waas being watched. Then let let out a small shiver but not from the cold.

Through the cover of night, a mann loped through the forest of Transylvania, his slender limbs carrying him swiftly over the cold terrain. Every now and again he would glance upwards toward the barren fingers of the trees, though his steps would not falter and his senses never ceased in wariness. As he wove through a labyrinth of towering firs and pines in all of their magnificence, the agouti-colored Varg shivered as a distinctly terrifying scent clouted his senses and he held back the violent urge to vomit, or snarl, or run, or perhaps all three. He slowed, his bright ginger tail rising in immediate dominance and his charcoal hackles bristling. Pulling his lips from his fangs in distaste, the wolf slunk low to the ground, ears pinned against his skull as he crouched at the base of a trunk, steadying his breathing. Russet lights flitted through the trees and tendrils of smoke filed through the crisp winter air, bringing him the stench of Man, and blood, and hounds, their snuffling loud even from the distance between the Varg and the hunting party. The humans’ shadows stretched out beside and before them, jumping around as the light from the torches elongated their black tagalong shadows and creating the illusion that there were more two-leggers than reality held.
The hunting dogs were no larger than a wolf and built with thin auburn fur and long ears, ears that nearly dragged the ground and long, ugly snouts. There were a trio of them; from their scents Dax could decipher that one was a fae and the other two males. The femme wove over the ground, her flat jowls slobbering over the ground as she picked up on scents. Dax edged himself backwards, his bright eyes piercing through the ebon night and praying that Tor would be merciful and not release his vulnerable form. The bracken in front of him cracked and with a sharp intake of breath Dax found himself muzzle to muzzle with the patched bitch, her large brown eyes finding his and widening as they did so. Dax felt a rumble forming in his chest and he let a low, warning growl escape his throat. He rose to his full height, growl turning into a threatening snarl and he advanced on the howl, the true colors of the putnar he was showing through. The hunting hound let her own guttural growl echo from her jowls, and without a thought Dax swiped a heavy paw at her eyes, his thick claws catching her in the face and sending her backwards.
Leaving the hound to find her way back, he tore off into the forest, creating as many confusing and intricate circles as he could in an attempt to throw off his scent. If he had used his fangs, it would have been obvious that it was a wolf that had inflicted the damage; by using his claws, perhaps, hopefully, they would think it was a rather vicious badger or something of the sort. His great lungs inhaling deep heaves of oxygen, the he-wolf slowed to a stop at the start of a clearing, the roar of a waterfall flooding his ears alongside the hammering of his heartbeat. His cerulean eyes scanned the clearing and it took but a moment for them to lock onto the ebony wolf that crouched yards before him, lapping at the water’s edge. He peered closely at her, immediately wary at the gold bangles that hung round her paws and he flinched when she shook her pelt, sending droplets of water to douse everything and making the unseemly jewelry clink. She wasn’t any larger than he was, and didn’t seem to be in any sort of frightened state- perhaps she hadn’t seen the humans. The femme padded to the base of rather large tree and let herself settle.
Uttering a low growl to reveal his presence, the Kerl stepped into the clearing. Though his hackles were smooth now, his tail was still lifted high above his body and spoke with a sense of urgency, eyeing her bracelets. ”I don’t mean to frighten you,” he started, ”But there are a group of humans headed this way, and there’s a definite possibility that they could be trailing me.” Feeling embarrassed at his mishap, Dax dipped his head to the fae. ”I’m Dax, by the way.”

The ebon fae’s ears pricked up and her head turned to see a mann heading in her direction. Imminently she stood up though he had no signs of danger. She smiled at the Varg and as he spoke her ears fell a little bit then as he introduced herself her tail shifted side to side as she dipped her own head to the mann. “Hello I’m Ryku nice to meet you Dax, and yes I am aware of the humans. They had come by here already.” She answered her tail slowing to a stop as she spoke about the humans but her voice remained soft. For Tor’s sake won’t these two legers just leave the forest? She thought to herself. The fae turned her attention back to the Varg and watched him with intrigue. Ryku loved meeting new wolves it was more fun when it was in a crises though. The trees tangled with each other their shadows dancing in the moonlight as the wind blew past the two Varg. Her golden orbs shone brightly in the midnight as she settled on her haunches. The night was soft and quite though the night Lera wondered about the area scavenging for food. She smiled slyly and her tail whipped from side to side in a fast motion. The falls roared as if telling us to back off and run. The humans had gone far enough away that they probably wouldn’t come back to the lake. Ryku smiled at the Mann. “Would you like to accompany me on a hunt?” she growled almost like a cat would purr. The she-wolf watched him and waited for a reply. Ryku’s ear suddenly pricked up and her fire lanterns traveled from observing Dax to looking at the forest behind him. A female hunting dog had caught their scents and was growling. Ryku stood up again and let low rumbles escape her maw and dipped her head glaring at the dog. The black fae advanced forward and tipped her head upright. The other dog was growling and Ryku noticed marks across her face from a wolf. Dax maybe did it? Oh well there wasn’t time for questions. Ryku’s tail had stopped moving all together instead it was held high in the air to assert her dormice over the dog. She snarled and held her head high. The dog must have known that it could not possibly win against two wolves. She should know. If not Ryku was sure to make it clear that the dog would die if she dare challenge her. The trees twisted around the dog like a cage but sadly it was only its shadows making the movement. Ryku looked back at Dax who seemed to linger from where he was standing when he approached Ryku. The onyx fae stood there and waited for the dog to make her move first. The lanterns of hunters reappeared and Ryku knew they were in trouble now. The humans voices rose into the sky and Ryku prayed to Tor that she would have mercy on the two Varg. Of course the she-wolf didn’t want this to be her last night and for her not to see Fenris’s rays again. Tor was high in the sky bright and round. The dog barked and the scent of two more, males, cover Ryku’s nostrils. Her orbs fluttered everywhere to find somewhere they could go. She back up a little to see Dax more and see what he thought they should do. Ryku had never been so close to man in her life. This was about as close to real danger she had been in though instincts told her it was time to take flight and not to stay and fight. The bangles around her ankles jiggled and clanked whenever she dare move. Ryku whimpered a little bit and it turned into a low growl at the hunting dog which was leading the humans to Ryku and Dax. Ryku told herself not to panic and her ears pinned back against her head. Though her pelt was good camouflage for night the hunters would are still able to see her. Why were the humans even out this late and this far away from the villages? She didn’t know and didn’t care as long as she and Dax made it out alive. Ryku’s hackles rose as she looked to the maze of trees to all sides of her. The hunters were coming from the north so they had three escape routes. The one to the east would take them to the meadow and the one to the west would take them to the stone castle. The one in the south would take them to the abandon village. They might be best off going south or west. Ryku waited for Dax to make decide on what to do.

”They…they came by here already?” Had they doubled back, perhaps catching Ryku’s scent? The humans themselves couldn’t decipher the scent of a wolf from a weed with their great flat faces, but if the hunting dog who had found him had alerted her companions then the pair of Vargs could be in trouble. Ryku seemed well at ease compared to himself; the drappa had settled down on the forest floor, though he could sense that she still well alert, she was just less apparent about it. He supposed that that trait had to be an advantage; Dax himself was far too evident in his thoughts and fears simply through ill-conceived body language. His hackles began to bristle again and he looked at Ryku incredulously as she invited him on a hunt in a rather silky voice. ”Well, um, thank you for the offer, and I don’t mean to be rude, but I believe we may have slightly more pressing matters at paw, miss!” Though a hunt does sound nice, he admitted to himself mentally. And she does seem like a very nice fae…oh, stop it!”
For a split second the mann had let his eyes wander from the surrounding forest to Ryku, looking over her frame and examining her silently. And it was in that moment that he saw Ryku’s ears prick forward and simultaneously growled; pivoting back on his hind paw Dax swung around to see once again the ugly patched hound that he had crossed paths with only minutes earlier. Baring his fangs, Dax took up stride next to Ryku, slightly taller than the fae, and raised his own tail, though he lowered his head to shoulder height. With a low, rasping snarl the hoary Kerl stepped threateningly toward the dog, snapping his jowls and sending thick saliva spraying toward her. She can’t be loud, he thought desperately to himself. She’ll alert the others… Dax had never fought for real before; he was an accomplished hunter but to spill the blood of a canine was something he loathed to even think about. Beside him, Ryku, too, was threatening the hound, and his blue eyes darted from side to side, looking wildly for an escape. Across the hound’s muzzle the deep gouges he had left earlier were only just beginning the clot; the dark crimson blood was only just curdling on her dark muzzle.
The shouts of humans grew louder and in the near distance Dax could see the bright lights of torches dancing menacingly through the brush alongside the shadows of two more hounds, larger and easily as big as the average wolf. Transylvanian hounds were not tiny, vulnerable runts; they were bred to take down red deer and bison and therefore they had to be of ample height and weight. He closed his eyes and winced as the hound barked sharply and then bayed to the others, and it was in that second that Dax acted: twisting toward Ryku he nudged her roughly with his head towards the treeline; he didn’t care where she went, only that she was safe. ”Run!” he cried, lunging for the hound. Her thin fur was no protection and Dax twisted himself under the hound as she rose up to meet him, fang to fang. Instead, however, he slid himself beneath her belly and kicked up his haunches, raking through her tender underbelly with thick claws. He felt the skin tear easily beneath the force of his kick and the dog yelped, turning her own fangs down against his head. In defense he pinned his ears and contorted his maw around so that his teeth could have a go at her throat. Guilt rippled through him and instead of finshing the dog off he merely bit and pulled away, swiping once more at her eyes before he tore off through the forest, sharp nose following Ryku’s scent. He was lean, and thus he born to run, to fly across the loam and eat up the earth in great strides, low to the ground and speeding around brambles and obstructions. The dog’s blood ran from his mouth and he could feel tissue and skin hanging to his fangs and his claws; his own ear was ravaged as was the very top of his head, though it was not nearly as noticeable, save for the matting of blood around the silvery fur. Panting heavily, dax gasped for air as he slowed to a lope, and then to a trot, head swinging to and fro in an effort to spot the midnight-colored femme. ”Ryku?” he voiced to the forest in a near whisper. ”Are you out here?”

Ryku listened to the snarls of Dax and the other hunting dog with the ugly face. The black fae growled then heard Dax’s voice again, he growled forcing Ryku toward the forest edge the“Run!” n lunged at the female dog. Ryku didn’t hesitate at his command and swerved around the labyrinth of trees. Under poking brush and over sticks her feet were moving as fast as they could. The onyx femme hit the water and felt the coolness on her pads. She then ran up the hill and jumped into the bushes as Tor’s light was covered b y the tree tops. So much for a hunt. Ryku found an abandon den seeming to be the home of a fox though it was long gone by now. The ebon varg crawled inside the hole squeezing her already huge body inside. Her breath was hot and she was taking in heaves of breathes. There she waited for Dax to come back.
It had been a few minutes then heard something from the outside. Was it the dogs? Or the humans? Maybe it was Dax. If it was Dax then how badly was he hurt? Was he hurt? Did he kill the dog? Questions flooded her mind as she heard his voice again, ‘Ryku, are you out here?’ it called to her drawing the wolf out of her hiding place. Ryku slowly crawled out of the hole and poked her head above the brush just enough to see that it was just him. Ryku felt relive come over her to see he got away with only a few scratches. The ebon night covered the sky as Ryku made her way out completely and shook the dirt and who knows what else off her fur. Her pelt was rippling with every move she made.
The stars shone brightly in the sky when Ryku curved around the bushes and stood in front of Dax. She smiled and her bangles glimmered in Tor’s light. Her ears were picked up still alert but yet relaxed like she had been. “Hey Dax are you ok?” she asked looking him over once more. The onyx ebon fae watched him as she sat on her haunches. The trees overlapped each other in the woods and tangled with each other. Her golden orbs were still observing his wounds. “I’m sorry I couldn’t help.” She added looking at her paws feeling a little ashamed of herself.

Standing stock still, Dax let his eyes wander around the terrain and he peered through the trees, fear and adrenaline fading to worry and confusion. Had he lost her? Had her flight taken her somewhere completely different than hat he thought? At this Dax snorted to himself; he had followed her scent, and it had led him here. Scents rarely lied in that regard. Cautiously he lowered his head to the ground and padded forward inaudibly, his large, overbearing paws leaving no whispers behind. His ribcage rose and fall in great breaths as his heart fluttered; it isn't often that a wolf flees for its life and the experience was not one that Dax wanted to relive. With a sharp crack the bracken before him began to break apart and he gave a throaty growl, an obvious warning to whatever creature lay unseen before him, though his muscles tensed to run; he was not going to go at it with another hound.
In an instant Ryku's onyx maw peered at out him and he sighed in relief, letting his body readjust and relax, the fear subsiding. The large fae shook herself, loosening clods of dirt and muck and dead leaves and a whole manner of things you wouldn't normally see in a fae's pelt loose and Dax raised an eyebrow, wondering for a moment if Fenris himself had felt their need and had whisked her away underground to safety. As these thoughts ran through the grizzled dragga's head he realized with a start that he had been staring at Ryku and he immediately dropped his gaze, feeling embarassed. Her bracelets still left him a sense of misunderstanding and he wondered how they had came to be placed there. At her polite question he wagged his tail and met her gaze once more. "Oh yeah, don't worry about me," he spoke with a quick wink. "On occasion I'll even go up to a hound and ask for a little head-gnawing, it does my brain good." In all truth the wound had begun to throb painfully, giving him an awful headache and this pain was slowly making it harder to concentrate on anything else but the senation atop his head. Ryku sat down and he followed suit; his expresson clouded at her words and he shook his head emphatically. "I assure you, it's perfectly alright," he said with a flash of a smile. "Besides, I wouldn't want a pretty femme like you to get hurt." As he said it, he realized with a grin that she was larger than he was build-wise and could probably have taken on the hound by herself. "That isn't to say," he began quickly as an afterthought, but stopped halfway through with a slight wince, and let himself lay down. In a comical looking move he put his paws up to his head and held them there, a pained look on his face. "Never mind," he muttered, eyes closed.
Dax Ehzno, you see, has a very low pain tolerance.

Ryku’s breathing had steadied now and she looked up at him to notice that he was staring at her. She smiled again and her ears twitched along with her tail. The stars twinkled up above them as the vines around them tangled with each other. Ryku observed how Dax handled the pain and right not it was not so well. “Well if you say so Dax.” The black femme answered barley letting the sarcasm seep through her words. Golden orbs searched the trees behind him, no sign of the hounds or hunters. Ryku felt relive rush through her whole body. This safety was only able to be real by Tor and Fenris’ power. The ebon varg then heard the ringing of his voice again. She smiled at him as he tried to form different words realizing her size now. As he struggled the wound had not stopped bleeding yet. Ryku moved forward examining it up close. It wasn’t too deep, not enough to kill him but it needed some attention. As Tor grew smaller at the base of the trees she had realized she had gotten no sleep but was pretty awake. The femme could see the cut better now as it stained his fur. Dax had lied down and put his paws on his head. Ryku bent her head down and looked at him. She could see he wasn’t good with pain and whimpered feeling bad for him. Ryku touched his forehead with her nose reassuringly telling him it would be ok. “You know I really don’t like seeing handsome Varg in pain.” She said then thought over what she just said and struggled for different words. “Well uh… what I meant was…” she cut off halfway through her own sentence. “Never mind.” The black fae said finally and laughed a bit. Ryku could see it was impossible for him to clean the wound so she gazed at him and let her ears pin to her head asking if she could help him. The tree shadows grew smaller and so did the wolves. The night Lera had gone now and once again the Day Lera were coming out to play. Ryku lay down next to Dax and started to clean to blood away from the wound. The blood tasted like iron and it was nasty but it didn’t matter when she was helping someone out. Her eyes watched his reactions and her movements were carful and slow; she didn’t want to harm him or make him angry.

OOC: Sorry for taking so long, and sorry for the shortness too xD
The pain in his skull had seemed to drift down to his brain and he quivered, both physically and mentally, unable to shrug off the wound and wondering just how deep it truly was. Above all, Dax feared death and while he was not a paranoid Varg he was always keen to jump to conclusions about his own personal health (alongside the safety of others, of course) and for a frightening moment he became very afraid that the bleeding might be fatal. As these mindless thoughts ran rampant, the mann was in the process of becoming more and more worried when he heard a whimper and then felt the cool touch of Ryku's nose on his brow. The simple act of touch seemed to work wonders on the mann and he felt himself relax; as her gentle voice brushed his senses his unease seemed to lift and waft away and he grinned crookedly, opening one cerulean eye to wink at the femme as she laughed. "Oh, trust me," he began through gritted teeth, praying that the pain would subside, "There's no need for an explanation; I'm sure that me being in this wonderfully vulnerable situation is something that all drappas would admire. In fact, I'm quite astonished you haven't began voicing your undying love for me yet."
Sarcasm happened to be his second, or, quite possibly his first, language.
He chuckled dryly at his own words and looked up at Ryku, whose ears were now pinned as her amber gaze held his and as he looked at the striking fae he slowly smiled and thumped his tail against the cold earth; this smile gripped his muzzle more tightly as she settled herself next to him and proceeded to clean his wound. The feeling of a warm tongue soothed the throbbing gouge and he sighed contentedly, laying his long muzzle on his silvery paws and relishing in the idea of a warm body next to his own. Pain abating, Dax raised his head and angled it to look at Ryku, the look in his eyes sincerely grateful. "Thank you," he began, light tenor voice breaking the midnight silence. "It would have been impossible for me to clean that myself. Was it very deep?" he added, tone worried, though he struggled to hide it. He didn't want Ryku under the impression that he was a, ahem, wimp.

Ryku chuckled as he began to relax a little. She smiled at him and as the wound started to subside in bleeding. Her ears pricked up at his remark. “Undying love? Really, Dax I think I have more sense than that. Shouldn’t you be the one expressing your undying love for me?” She answered with a laugh her fangs shinning. Her own worry for him decreased when the wound stopped bleeding all together. “And not all drappa enjoy seeing dragga in pain just so you know.” Ryku added with a sincere smile. She lay next to him for a few moments in silence enjoying the quite as the tree tops loomed over head. Ryku relaxed and put her head on her paws and looked out into the forest that lay in front of Dax and her. Her golden orbs looked back up at Dax hearing his voice that made her ears prick up and her head raise.
“No problem Dax and no it was not deep enough to be fatal.” Ryku said with a quick wink. Her gaze was held by his blue orbs as he stared at him. The warmth of the body heat between the two of them was soothing to her. Her eyes glimmered as Fenris’ rays grew over the trees and warmed Ryku’s coat. The black femme yawned letting a small whine escape her maw. Her teeth glinted and her bangles jingled. Her pupils in her eyes grew smaller not needing to catch as much sunlight as night turned into day. The day Lera had come out for morning stalking. They needed breakfast just as much as they needed air. Ryku looked back over at Dax and smiled. “So what do you plan on to do now? Hunt more human dogs?” the ebony fae asked letting sarcasm melt through her words teasing him with her innocent voice and eyes. Her eyes watched him carefully and observed the Mann. She lifted her head off her paws once again and looked up at the morning sky. The color was painted red, orange and splattered with blue everywhere in every shape. Clouds danced and the stars began to fade away. What a crazy night it had been. Such a adventure and yet it was relaxing. When Ryku’s adrenalin starts to pump she tends to get a little hyper or a little carried away with things. The onyx fae turned her head back toward Dax and nudged him with her muzzle playfully in his flank. Ryku’s coat rippled with every move she made.

Dax looked at Ryku, smiling sheepishly. ”You know, one of these days, that line really is going to work, you just wait,” he teased back, flicking his tail against the ebony drappa's flank. ”All you pretty faes, I just can't determine how you can resist me.” This was, of course, continued sarcasm, and his cyan eyes glinted with an unvoiced laugh, the pain in his head reduced to a light throb. ”You know, have you ever thought of being a Healer? You've definitely got the touch.” With Ryku laying beside him, Dax returned his head to his paws, his gaze focused on her paws (the closest thing within sight that didn't require a whole lot of effort to look at), the individual black hairs and the thick claws that all putnar retained.
Looking back up at the obsidian she-wolf, Dax smiled weakly out of relief, though at the word fatal, if he had had no fur, she would have seen all color drain from his muzzle. As she winked, he caught her amber gaze again and smiled as she looked at him, feeling both at ease and strangely paralyzed under her compelling gaze. As she looked away, he shivered and glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, watching hi powerful jowls open in a wide yawn, the stretching of her vocal cords forcing out a whine. Small movement along her body caused her jewelry to jingle, and Dax focused once more on them, opening his own maw in a question, his tone both gentle and curious. ”Ryku...” he began slowly, not wishing to cause her embarrassment or anger her, ”Those gold things around your paw- don't get me wrong, I like them- how did they come to be there?” He finished the sentence hurriedly, and tipped his ears back, gazing at her with a curious expression mounting along his jaw.
At the playful tones that entwined themselves into her soft voice he grinned and winked one sparkling eye at the femme. ”Oh, you know.” he spoke in a singsong voice, ”I think I may go after one their horses next, you never know. I like to keep life on the wild side, keep everyone- including myself- guessing. That is-” he added with a broad smirk, ”Unless you have something else in mind?” he raised one eyebrow, laughing aloud as she nudged him with her muzzle. He leapt to his paws and dropped to his front legs, haunches in the air and tassel wagging furiously, lifting one forearm to paw Ryku's side lightly.
While he would like others to think he was a mature mann, he had spent the majority of his previous packlife with his far younger siblings, and so his joy for play had yet to diminish, or even begin to subside.

Ryku watched Dax with her brow raised as if she didn’t believe his words though she knew it was sarcasm. The femme let out a mild soft laugh when she looked back at Dax. “Yes, yes the line will work the day Fenris burns out and Tor die in the sky.” She spoke still out of half sarcasm and half well the other half is because she is just a little hyper. Her ears pricked up to listen to him again as her gold orbs watched him carefully. “We can resist one, because there is nothing to resist. We can resist two, because we have more common sense. We can resist three, because….. Well there really is no three. One and two about sum it up!” Ryku laughed She observed him carefully and when she looked away she glanced back for a moment and focused on his face. Dax had a proud muzzle like a good dragga and piercing blue eyes surrounded by the individual hairs. His ears rest on the top of his head. The black fae looked at the ground at his question.
“Well one day I was playing around as a pup and I found them. I started to play with them when they got caught and I have no idea how to get them off. I really like them though. Add a nice touch!” she laughed looking at the golden jewelry. Her glimmering eyes looked up to Dax again and her ears twitched. Eyes flickered from his proud face to her bangles then to the green forest that surrounded them. Ryku let a smile creep across her black maw her white fangs showing a little bit. The ebon fae then listened to Dax again and snickered at his remark. ‘Unless you had something else in mind?’ were his words. Ryku smiled bigger now.
“Well I didn’t really have anything in mind though it is nice to have company after being alone all winter. You’re a Kerl also no?” she asked in her own singsong voice trying not to laugh at herself. Dax got into a play position and Ryku returned the gesture and play bowed to him her tail wagging. She liked having a play mate; it does get lonely being a Kerl especially if you’re a femme. The onyx drappa nudged her muzzle against him again and playfully rolled onto her back feet in the air. She laughed again and put her left paw higher as if to swipe at his face but meant it all in play. Her golden lanterns stared up at him and her eyes sparkled with a smile in them.

Dax snorted from behind his facade of bigheadedness before the falsities crumpled and he broke out in a peal of laughter,s shaking his head to and fro. ”It was worth a try,” he said cheerfully. ”At least now I know I need to work on more of those lines. I'm going to make one up, just for you. And then one day, when you're unsuspecting, I'll saunter up to you-” He created the movement, exaggerating his steps with a drappa's sauciness and held his tail high as he moved smoothly toward Ryku, ”-And whisper it, and you'll fall to the ground before my paws.” A wide grin was splayed across his face; he didn't believe a word of it either. At her words, an almost fake look of emotional anguish hung in his eyes, and he allowed himself to stagger back and fall on is haunches, hind legs before him in a comical manner. ”Well, if you're going to be likethat!” he spoke, feigning a state of great dolor. ”Maybe I won't make one up for you after all!” He made a hmpf noise and looked away, though he glanced at Ryku from the corner of his blue eye.
He looked back at the midnight-hued drappa and nodded with a grin. ”I like them too; they're very unique. And individuality is something to value.” They didn't really concern him very much; he actually found them to be rather amusing, though the gleams that they would throw into his eyes whenever the light hit them just right was proving to be a very powerful distraction. As he realized that she really didn't have anything else in mind at all (though he would have been surprised if she had; he really wasn't looking to do much after the previous night's chase) he frowned glumly until her words acted as a pick-me-up and he grinned, wagging his thick ginger tail ”Yes, I am indeed nothing but a wandering Kerl...though I do intend on attempting to join a pack soon.” He thought he heard a hidden laugh before those onyx jaws, but he couldn't be sure.
As he voicelessly invited her to play he became increasingly energetic as she returned his sportive bow. He tried leaping away as she nudged him again, contorting his body in a sort of arch around her muzzle but still feeling the touch anyway. Dax laughed as she fell to her side and rolled over, her limbs splayed everywhere and her paws dangling before him. She lifted one of them in a jocular intent to swipe at his face and he snapped his jaws shut several inches before her clawed paw, tongue lolling from his mouth and his tassel wagging wildly. Lunging forward, he moved his muzzle toward her head in an attempt to gnaw impishly on her ear, something he hadn't done since he was a whelp, pawing at her at the same time.
She's some fun, this fae, he thought to himself with an inner grin. Spirited, too. He liked that, liked wolves he could jest with. Life, for Dax at least, really did consist mainly of fun and games, at least for the time being, until he joined a pack.

She snickered happily and listened to his answer. “Maybe one day Dax, but not anytime soon.” The black femm“Ok fine don’t make one up for me I’m fine with that.” she purred out of her jaws. She strutted over a little closer and smiled playfully. She spoke to him though a spark of despair hung in her golden hues. Ryku watched him sit on his haunches and laughed at his comical movements. When the fae was about to look away she saw him staring at her out of the corner of his eye. The onyx drappa watched him her maw forming a straight face. She closed one of her own eyes and looked at him through the corner of the open one. It reminded her of how she would play as a cub.
She smiled at him again and turned her head toward him with a playful grin. “Thank you Dax. I very much like unique also.” Her voice was soft and loving as her hues moved from Dax’s face to her golden bangles that dangled at her ankles. (Wow did not know that would happen O.O) Her eyes lingered at her bracelets. When Fenris hit them just right they His light would bounce off the golden jewelry. It was quite beautiful. “I too, am attempting to join a pack, Deor. My friend Koiji and Slive are there. Mist the Drappa is also someone I know from there. If not there then Koran.” She spoke remembering the time she first meant Koiji when she was just a pup. When Ryku had fallen in the river but had come out alive. Those were the days; though she hasn’t spoken to Koiji in a very long time.
As he snapped at her she rolled back to her feet and playfully nipped his ear as he had done to her. Ryku lifted her muzzle to see his face again. This was a very good way to drain her hyper energy although she usually went hunting playing was better for her. She hadn’t played with another Varg since she left the den. Her golden orbs caught his as she stared at him for a moment. Hmmmm… she thought to herself. Dax is a very nice dragga and he is very playful.

OOC: Had no idea wgat would happen? As Ryku's silky voice flowed from her muzzle Dax suppressed a whimper and glared good-naturedly at the she-wolf, though this look quickly faded as she meandered toward him. His cyan eyes moved momentarily from her face to her body and he realized for the second time since they had come across each other how strong of a drappa she obviously was, though this fact was hidden by her thick pelt. This rather undue ogling look lasted for only a moment before her words really registered and a front of complete devastation overtook his muzzle, though it twisted into a grin and he laughed along with her. ”Well, let me know if you ever change your mind. I'm quite the natural at drappa-entrapping improv,” he spoke smugly, though in actuality this was a complete and utter lie. If Ryku were ever to actually demand something like that from him, it would be followed by a bout of nervous stuttering and excuses until he had actually been able to form thoughts lucid enough to conjure up some semi-amazing and pseudo-persuasive line.
Dax felt his skin growing very warm as the fae's voice made the transformation to something far more amorous and he felt drawn to it, like her voice could swallow him whole. It made him rather anxious and he smiled nervously at the fae, his tail unknowingly and unintentionally wagging in response. He watched Ryku's gaze sweep to her bracelets and his own turned toward the sky and the inwardly to his stomach, which, had his internal organs had a voice, would had been silently cursing him. Dax was always, always, hungry, and he attempted to distract himself by gazing directly into Fenris' burning orb, although this did little but ruin his eyesight for several long moments. He sat, dazed and blinking, and bent his head down so that he could rub each cerulean orb on his foreleg in succession, little white patches blotting out most of his surroundings and the majority of Ryku's face, which was a pity; he was enjoying look at her. As she mentioned Deor his head snapped up and he grinned; as soon as she ceased speaking his own words bolted out. ”Deor; that's where I'm looking to join as well! I don't really know anyone from there though, but I've heard it's a much smaller pack and that will be nice.”
Dax felt the gentle tug of her fangs against his tender ears and he growled mischeviously and spun away before slewing around and looking back at Ryku, her charming amber orbs catching him off guard. Because he was focusing on the drappa, and not on his own paces, Dax's hind legs entangled themselves and he was pitched forward into the cold grass, muzzle first.

ooc: it rymed a lil. dangles bangles ankles.lol Ryku felt drawn to his voice as if she needed it like she needed oxygen. She shuddered but out of delight as his soft warm voice flowed out of his handsome maw. Her flaming hues seemed like they were smiling along with her muzzle. “Don’t worry; I won’t let you make a fool out of yourself trying to think of a pick-up line for me. I’m not cruel you know.” her voice sounded so dull compared to his own. Thoughts ran through her mind. She paid no mind to them as she tried to study the emotion plastered on his proud face. The ebon fae’s fur felt warm as the heat of the sun burned into her back on her pure black coat.
She watched aimlessly at the squirrel trying to protect its acorn from his brother. They jumped around in the tree and fell out a couple times at one point. Her golden orbs followed their movements carefully and let out a small chuckle. “Dax,” she started off still looking at the Lera. She couldn’t bear to linger on Dax’s face any longer. “Look at the Lera over by that oak tree.” The femme pointed with her paw laughing a little. Her ears twitched and on moved to the side slightly to hear his voice that seduced her in. When the ebon fae looked back over to Dax he was looking at Fenris. “You are gonna burn your eye out Dax.” She said laughing. Her hues watched him as she stared at him again. Finally his voice rung in her ears as they picked up. “Well if I am accepted you will have one friend at least.” She said smiling innocently.
Ryku watch him fall on his face. She padded over to him and bent her head down to where his muzzle hit. “Dax, Dax? Are you ok?” she asked and licked his left ear. She nudged him a moment and laid down next to him and waited for him to get up.
