Sea mixed eyes landed upon the once trhiving settlement that had held the dreaded humans. The creatures that hunted whatever they liked, destroyed whatever they desired. The creatures that could wipe a pack out with ease. Ears flicked cautiously about, twitching to any slight sound that carried on the gentle summer breeze. It was hot, too hot. The unfamilliar heat had got into her fur and it irritated her to no end that it was so alien. The varg being from the far north where the snow never melted and heat had never been a factor to contend with found this to be an extreme case of discomfort. The shade beckoned her as Fenris continued his onslaught of rays upon the eart. Her paws drew her to the cover of the trees where she could once again lay her eyes upon these buildings she had once dreaded to encounter. Curiosity loomed within her mind, what power had run them out? It had been so long since their disappearance because of the fire that the marks of flames no longer scared the slowly bleaching stone.
The curiosity got too much. Her lithe body carried forth with such ease, the long runners legs making no effort at all to draw her closer to the temple. The ruins were still impressive, no doubt about that. Her paws kicked loose pebbles and small pieces of rubble without a care, she had not really learned the art of a cautious mind in these lands yet. Great pillars loomed above her as she took a position next to the great stone object, haunches relaxing as she leaned back into a lexaxed position. Her sea mixed eyes glanced this way and that, taking in the view that she had gained in climbing the steps. Long bushed tail curled about her form, she regarded it for a moment, as though it had a mind of its own. A strange sight she must be, a northern bred varg of shaded colour, tail like that of an arctic fox, markings of slight blue underlining her orbs. Her old blood had marked her generously, generations of her pack had been marked so, and them generations had died in the battle that could not be won. The image of her dying grand sire was still fresh within her memory. For now though, she sat and she watched.

Lykos coming back from his recent hunt with some food he decided to bring just in case he got hungry later. Some would call that lazy but Lykos called it thinking ahead. Lykos also brought this extra meat in case in came in contact with a kerl who may know how he can get into a pack, but Lykos didn't think this plan would work unless he found a kerl or ate the meat soon because it was spoiling. As he looked for a place to rest he spotted a temple which looked like a cool spot to rest, as Lykos entered the structure he found a fae varg sleeping.
Lykos walked up to the wolf and dropped the meat in-front of her. She was a wolf that didn't look like any of the vargs he has seen around here. She had blue markings underneath her eyes, Lykos remembered a rumor he heard a few suns back, about a fae from the north had been exploring the lands. She woke up after a Lykos dropped the meat in-front of her and he said "Hello my name is Lykos what is yours."

Her lids had slowly got heavier, drifting close with no control as the heat seeped into her body and lured her into a sense of false security. Her body position had not changed with the relaxing of her mind, the muscles across her body continued to hold her form up and stop it from flopping forth onto the hard ground. The stone beneath her paws added to the intensity of the temperature her body almost soared to. This was unbearable. Though, it is the climate she must adapt to so she continued to be cooked in the rays of Fenris.
Noises attracted an aud to flick forth and pin point the approaching varg, meat hanging from his jowls. His great ebon pelt reminded him of another she had met not too long ago, or maybe it was a while ago. When the snow fell about her and covered the ebon fae in white. Ayame was her name, a very kind fae to meet. Her mind wnadered from the task before her as she stared past this newcomer to gaze at the tree line. Only snapping back to reality when the slab of meat hit the ground before her. Paws shifted as her sea mixed eyes shot to stare at this male that now stood before her relaxed form. Muscles tensed within her legs, if this brute decided to get nasty, she wouldn't be stopping around to encounter it. His words reached her soon after that thought had crossed her mind and she slowly raised her form from the stone earth it had once settled on. She considered him carefully, would it be wise to answer just yet. Sensing no threat for the time being she now thought about the words to answer with. "Greetings, Lykos. My calling is Soldier."
That was simple enough. She had answered his simple question with a simple answer. The accent surrounding her words was clearly from the northern regions and she could not hide that fact. She blinked slowly, contemplating the events that may happen. Her mind had already taken in the fact he had a lump of meat with him. Would he get protective over his prize? Most varg did and it was a dangerous moment when one would do anything for the meat. Though she had not eaten for days, her stoumach had no desire to indulge in any flesh for the time being, her upbringing in a harsh terratory had trained her to be ideal for these situations. It was normal for a varg from her area not to eat for days on end. She turned her attention back to the ebon brute before her. "What business do you have here?"

As the fae spoke Lykos heard her accent which he has heard before from a northern wolf he met a once before. Lykos has been traveling the land and has met many vargs from many places in the world some of which he might end up going, but now he seeked a place to rest and that is what he intended on doing in the temple whether the fae liked it or not. "My business is to rest."replied Lykos calmly "You look hungry would you like some meat, you can have this whole thing if you wish."said Lykos pointing at the big chunk of meat with his muzzle.

Optics had wandered once more from them of ebon male, settling on a great oak that looked as though it dated back to the tales of Larka and her legendry power of the sight. These stories were told to the faded grey faemme when she was naught but a tiny pup, these tales also being told from the tounge of those whom had travelled to these lands and survived to return home to their icy abode. They had intrigued her, the thought of posessing the ability to speak to birds at a whim, though the consequences put her off a bit, being hunted by the devilish god Wolfbane. Once again her mind had wandered away from the current situation the posed itself infront of her, it was not until his tones washed over her that she snapped her eyes back to his. 'To Rest'. A plausable explination, the thoughts ran quickly through her brain before a great sigh heaved itself from her chest.
"Very well then, it is a good idea for the heat is greatly tiring. A chuckle escaped her maw as she taunted herself gently. This might be normal to him, he may be able to cope with this heat, even with the black coat he held upon his flesh. Once again his tones reached her auds, suggesting that she had the lump of meat he had brought along with him. She considered it greatly, she had no desire for the food yet would it be considered as an insult if she did not accept? There were some strange customs of these varg she had been told of from the maw of one of her old packmates. Though they may have been false accusations to put her off from straying to these parts of the world. She had no desire, so she would stick to her own traits and kindly decline his offer. "I thank you for your kind offer, Lykos, but I have no wish to eat anything for a while yet."

"Very well then" Lykos wasn't sure what to do with the meat because every moment that the meat stays in the heat it gets more and more spoiled. "Well I will leave it with you although will spoil in the heat soon if it is not eaten."said Lykos as he walked to the end of the shade and laid down and closed his eyes wondering if he could trust this kerl. For some kerls were dangerous to be around , Lykos knew this was a risk but he needed a place to rest for this heat was tiring like this fae had said.
