Sora looked from her mother to her father, ignoring Ayame. She was back, and she had nothing left to say to them. It was time she left. The sun had disappeared in the conifers and the forest was black beneath a shadowy blue sky. Sora’s eyes sucked the light from darkness and shined sickly. The forest smelled of night and summer, but she was not interested.
“Well, I’ll be going now,” she growled, turning away from them all. She stalked past the quiet shores of the Crimson Pool and its hushed lilies. “I’m surprised you let others tell you how to think now,” she called over her shoulder, and walked into the shadows.

Gryffin turned her emerald orbs back to view the icy mann. His pelt now shining with a purple pink hue as the sun began to sank underneath the horizon.
Gryffin's lips twitched in agitation as a low growl escaped her maw. "Don't tell me how I should be piloting myself. Then what do you want me to do to make her feel welcome, throw myself upon her every whim? Gryffin scoffed.
Her lips twitched as her emerald orbs flashed with icy cold depths to return the glare that the mann shot her. But Gryffin chuckled"Do you now? When have you let her choose her own battles? If you were true to your words than you'd let her be, instead of criticizing me for how i'm making her feel unwelcome. "
Gryffin let her pink tongue run along the black of her chops before giving herself a shake. Turning she met Sora's eyes, unmistakably mirroring her own. At Sora's questions Gryffin grinned. And telling by the reaction she had from Ayames two cubs.
"Dont be too excited yet Ayame... I said we will meet them, but that does not mean they have Listern qualities running in their blood. They are not yet of List"
Gryffin directed her speech toward the raven black wolf. This would be a good test to observe. Was this some ploy Ayame had concocted so she could gain a few new members into the pack and a few new members who would backup her every wish? Gryffin new that Ayame wanted something, she couldn't deny that, and so Gryffin would watch and wait.
List was also falling short of members, and with Fiory being old and weakening by the sun they couldn't afford to give up members. With Silent and Renn missing and potentially out of the picture they had a spot left. No doubt with Arias leaving to join the Balkar as well they were indeed a weakened pack.
Gryffin turned to Sora, "We might, we might not. It will depend on how these two cubs fair. If they are loyal and strong enough than they will grow, prosper and be a true List varg, and stay a List until they die... If not then we'll simply send them to the balkar lands where the night hunters can deal with them how ever they wish.. Lest they cower at the mere mention of the name Balkar than you know what type of vargs we have here..." She explained simply.
Through her spying sessions she could tell that Deor had acquired newborn cubs and Koran had also added more wolves to their ranks. Gryffin turned to Sora, "Besides, I'd rather take the chance to see if these two pups are worthy enough than having some other pack snatch them up.
She looked to Ayame and listened to her speech. Gryffin didn't reply but turned away as Sora began to leave. The tri hued she wolf gave her a nod, her tail giving a single swish.
Maw parted as she looked to Ayame "Bring them in tomorrow morning, then we'll see if they are really as worthy as you butter them up to be...

Standing there Ayame continued to listen to her Dragga and Drappa argue and growl at each other. Things seemed to have gotten worse not better. Things would cool off for a few moments but then one would remark and war was waged between the two again. She hated seeing how everything was playing out between the Alpha’s, she needed closure, but she knew that wasn’t going to happen here, it might be a while before the two would mend their relationship. She prayed to the gods that it was sooner than later.
It seemed that the tri-hued adolescent didn’t like what the ebon fae had to say, for she decided her time spent with the pack had been long enough. One last crude remark and she was on her way else where. Her actions did not bother Ayame, she just continued on like nothing had changed. Her attention turned to Gryffin, the tri-hued Drappa as she spoke to her calmly, “Yes Drappa I know, I have talked to the cubs and they know what consequences lie ahead of them if the pack deems them unworthy.” Looking at her Alpha’s she began to bark once more, “I will go and fetch them and bring them to you, I will see you in the morning. I hope you both will have a pleasant evening.” The ebon fae bowed her large, thick head in respect to both Sudak and Gryffin; she turned quickly and began to run towards where she had left her two cubs, hoping that they hadn’t gotten into mischief while she was gone.
