The ground was still marsh like from the melting snow as Ayame made her way to the mountainous terrain of List. The cool breeze ruffled her downy pelt. Spring was here, and all the lera were roaming with their young following them and learning the ways of the world. She chuckled to herself knowing that half of them wouldn’t make it, taken down by either great putnar or sickness and disease. She was grateful she made through her puppyhood. It was definitely a battle and several times she thought she wouldn’t live to see Fenris shine bright the next day, or Tor rise to its glory every night. A sigh erupted from her chest, making it rise larger than normal.
She was strong and large for her age, just over a year. Her muscles rippled under her ebon pelt, as she climbed the jagged terrain. Her paws and auds were not proportioned with the rest of her body, proving she still had some growing to do. Fenris was just peaking over the mountain top, red and orange hues breaking through the clouds that lingered, Ayame’s fiery hues barely broke through the slits and she tried to shield her orbs from the bright rays.
She was tired, and full from the prey she had just inhaled, a delicious fox. She licked her black lips with her pink tongue, her ivory daggers glistening in the sun. After traveling all night she needed to refuel, and refuel she did. Her stomach sagged a little from devouring the fox, it was the first meal she had tasted in a while.
“Poor little fox” she growled as an evil smirk came across her blood stained maw.
Ayame was on her way to List to find her mentor, the Icy Dragga. She had promised him that she would return to him once she had found Nashoba, her long lost friend. The snowy mann was the only reason Ayame survived as a pup. He taught her everything she needed to survive and more. All of her hunting, warrior and surviving skills she acquired, she learned from the icy hued mann. She smiled; she missed him and couldn’t wait to see his reaction when she asked for Tratto’s Blessing to cross into List. She hoped she wasn’t too late and he would remember her.
“He will remember me, how could he forget. We are connected, we will always be connected.”
In the distance, the boundaries of List showed bright. A little further and she would be there, hopefully where she would call home for the rest of her varg life. She had great respect for the pack life. She yearned for a family again. The kerl life was not the life for her. It was so lonely, and her heart ached just thinking about it. She hoped that Nashoba would find her when he was ready; he knew where she would be. A jealous streak ran through him when she started to tell him of the snowy mann. She loved Nashoba, but he was too young to handle what she had to tell him, and he ran out with anger filling his heart. Ayame stopped him long enough to tell him where she would be if he needed her and with that, he was gone. A tear started to form in her fiery hues, she shook her head refusing to let it affect her anymore.
“He’ll come around and find me and then we can be together for eternity.”
Before she knew it she was at the boundaries of List.
“It’s now or never.”
With that a howl rang out from deep in her chest, asking for Tratto’s Blessing and being able to cross into List territory. She then lowered her ebon body to the cool ground, crossing her paws, and looking off into the distance, auds perked for any sound that arises out of the land of List.

The winds rolled softly that morning, as the sun stretched over the peaks of the mountains. The sun highlighting them with a queer yet magnificent purple. The spring rolled into full force now, even the sun shone to be stronger and warmer. Though the snow still hesitated to fully leave, snow banks and piles still cluttered the forest floors, unableing the undergrowth to fully stretch from their winters slumber.
List would be the pack that welcomed spring the most, They had been the pack that suffered most from the lack of prey. Though according to sources, the herd of deer had changed their migration patterns. This troubled the tri hued drappa the most.
With a suppressed sigh she continued her roam. Blazing emerald eyes viewed the terrain before her. Crimson tipped ears pulled back as she continued her trek through the rocky terrain, per paws sliding over rocks and snow as she traveled toward the borders. So had made it clear that she would be scouting the migration routes again, not to say that she wasn't also going to spy on the other packs. Gossip had been low lately, and well if you wanted something done right you'd have to do it yourself.
But no sooner had these thoughts mingled with Gryffin's mind that a howl echoed through the mountain air. Gryffin immediately perked herself up, ears craning forward as pupils narrowed. A growl emitted from her vocals, it was a call of blessing. She would see if this varg deserved such passage. Tail twisting she lunged forth, legs propelling her toward the destination of the howl. Lips twitching as her head bowed low, stance unforgiving.
Not a minute later Gryffin arrived at the border. Her eyes searching as they lay upon a dark colored form. She paused first, eyes observing the intruder first. She was a female. Not balkar. Her nostrils flared, the scent free of any musk. Not Sarnes. Koran wouldn't dare show their pretty little faces on List terra. She seemed young too, perhaps 1 or 2 years younger than Gryffin herself. With a snarl Gryffin emerged from the shadows, her paws bringing her toward the intruder as she advanced. Jaws baring nothing else but a snarl.
A low growl rose from the pit of her chest, emerald eyes blazing as she lifted her head, high above the strange femme. Tail lifting to show she held the superiority over this stray. Lips curled back in a snarl "What do we have here?" Gryffin growled as she paused, eyeing the femme, "Tell me stray, why should I grant you tratto's blessing". Gryffin scowled looking at her still, waiting for the answer to what the fae's intentions were and why she dared intrude on List's territory.

The ebon fae flicked her tail back and forth as she watched the scattered clouds drift by. She knew that the mountainous Listern lands were large and it could take a while for someone to reach her or respond. She didn’t know who it might be, of course she hoped it was the snowy dragga, but she couldn’t be certain. As she sunbathed in Fenris’ rays, she was sure to keep a close eye on all her surroundings, her fiery hues grazed the rocky lands looking for any sign of the List pack. Her auds remained erect, listening far anything that might be coming her way.
She remembered the icy blue hued mann talked about his pack, and how much he missed them. There was his every loving tri hued fae, which he cared deeply for. He missed her more than anyvarg; Ayame could almost see her in her mind with the vivid description Sudak laid before her. The one thing she remembered most about the Drappa was the way he described her emerald hues. She sounded gorgeous to Ayame, not to mention strong being a daughter of the Balkar and running the pack alone while the icy dragga was away. Sudak had also mentioned their cubs; Arias, Sora and Aiyu—how much Ayame had reminded him of Sora. Then there were others such as Drathlic, Renn, Fiory and Silent; she couldn’t wait to meet everyone that had remained in List. Aiyu was the submissive pup of Sudak and Gryffin, Ayame hoped to bring her out of her shell a little bit and to not be so afraid of her Drappa and Dragga. A sigh slowly emerged from her chest. So many things she wanted to do for List, she owed the Dragga her life, without him she would have vanished at puppyhood. A smile came across her maw thinking of how she could ever repay him, he had taught the ebon fae her warrior skills, but she needed the tri hued Drappa to show her the stealth ways of the Emissary and Scout.
As if thinking of it made her appear, a growl from the Drappa emerged. Ayame immediately rose to her paws; her tail lowered twitching back and forth, her head lowered along with her large auds. A snarl rose from her maw, she did have respect for the strong fae, but at the same time she didn’t want to show weakness, she belonged in List, and if she had to prove it she would.
“Greetings Gryffin” Ayame growled “My name is Ayame. I have heard great things about you, and List. I have come to join your pack. I may be young but I have been taught the ways of the warrior by your ivory dragga himself. I would die for him, so in turn I would die for you and this pack. Now that I know the ways of the warrior, I now want to learn the stealth and illusion of a great emmisary and scout, so I’ve come to you to learn. I will not break easy, and my loyalty will forever lie with List.”
With that the ebon varg, stepped back waiting approval from the Drappa to cross into Listern lands. Her head and her tail held high, she stuck her chest out making her appear larger than she really was. She wanted the emerald hues of the Drappa to take her all in, she wanted her to see that she was worthy of List, and if Gryffin would take her in, she would never regret it, for Ayame would give her life for this pack, and would give anything to have a family again.

The breeze rolled on, unconcerned by the lera that roamed beneath, in the lands that had begun to grow once more. The winds whispered through the winter coat of the tri hued she wolf. Her bright emerald pools still piercing the ebon wolf standing before her.
Gryffin was still skeptical as she let the breeze carry her scent over to her nasals. It smelt of kerl, of the lands where wolves without pack dwelled. A sharp snarl rose deep from her throat, one that countered the stranger's reply of growls. Tail lifted in an arc as hackles rose to highlight her already puffy winter coat.
Pink tongue stuck out slightly as she teeth rose highlighting her rosy pink gums beneath. Though the stranger's reply had wiped the snarl right of the Drappa's maw. Gryffin's brow rose in a frown, orbs blinking. This intruder had known much about List. Thoughts of her being a spy rounded about in Gryffin's mind. Though when she had examined t again no pack would send out spies at this late of season. They would be too busy searching and replenishing their winter hunger. Besides no spy would be stupid enough to wander single handedly into another's territory asking for tratto's blessing. Still Gryffin stood suspicious.
Crimson ears rolled back as she spoke of the ivory hevarg. So this kerl had met Sudak? So they had trained together? A growl rose to hide her surprise from such situation. Though her vow of complete loyalty would prosper enough, Gryffin would have to learn more about this. And about her story with List's icy blue hevarg.
A low growl replied, "And why should I trust you? Believe every word without unwavering suspicion?"" Inquired the trihued Drappa, eyes blazing as she lifted her head, hackles still bristling as she made herself higher then Ayame in stature.

Emerging from the shadows as if on cue the ivory Dragga padded from behind his mate.
"Because, I can confirm her story." barked the icy mann.
Lazily he strolled by her side brushing slightly against her. The two had been very quiet as of late. Hardly even exchanging a glance. Whether Gryffin was holding a grudge against her mate for being gone so long was unsure but that wouldn't surprise Sudak one bit. The mann stopped beside his mate and kept his gaze on Ayame. The two had met a few moons ago and Sudak had begun teaching her in the cunning ways of the varg. He waved his tail and slowly crept his eyes towards Gryffin wondering her thoughts on the situation.
"She is young but she is well versed in our ways and history. There is no doubt in my mind that she could become a great leader one day as she is already a great warrior in training... as we all were once."
Sudak held himself tall and faced his mate after giving a quick smile to Ayame. He gave a serious yet loving smile towards Gryffin trying assure her that all was fine with the young ebon fae. With his counsel adjourned Sudak retreated behind Gryffin and lay with crossed paws awaiting what his mate would decide with the young strong warrior.
//well it's something.. not really what i wanted but it'll do i guess.//

The ebon fae stood her ground, she knew the tri hued Drappa would be defensive, and not trust her. A growl emerged to from her throat, and a snarl came across her maw. She would fight to get into List if she had too, even though the Drappa could rip her to shreds. Somehow the young fae had to get Gryffin to trust her, but how? Suddenly something behind the Drappa caught her eyes, and her fiery hues caught a glance of a familiar face. An evil smirk came across the midnight fae’s maw; she knew she would be backed one hundred percent by the icy Dragga.
“Hello Sir, pleasure seeing you again.”
Ayame then bowed, showing respect to both the Drappa and Dragga of List. This was to be her new home, as long as the emerald orbed Drappa approved. She owed Sudak her life, he saved her from failing life, and because of him she was turning into a great fae, both strong and smart. A gentle breeze blew, and the onyx fae took in everything around her. Other members of List were close, but she wanted approval from the Drappa before meeting anyone else.
“Great Drappa, I assure you, you have nothing to fear from me. I have sworn my life to Sudak and to List. I will do everything in my power to protect it. I have not come from any other pack, I have been a kerl my whole life; accept for when I was a very young cub. Please, Drappa, I ask for your blessing to cross into Listern lands, and to become a pack member so that I may serve and learn from you and the Dragga.”
Ayame then lowered herself in respect to the two great Alphas of List and awaited the decision that would decide her fate. She knew she belonged in List, she just hoped that the tri hued fae with piercing emerald hues would feel the same.

Ivory mitts pawed at the melting snow as Gryffin watched the ebony hued femme closely. She watched her looking for any slip up in a game she might be playing. Lips twitched as Gryffin calculated the circumstance. List needed more members she knew that, and by word of the Night Hunters she also knew food would be scarce, meaning more mouths to feed. Tail twitched. Then againwith more members they would be able to trek into neighboring packs. Yes, it would be the thing to do. Why would they stay in List harvesting scarce food when they could steal from the plenty. Gryffin let her pink tongue run along the ebon of her chops.
No sooner later did a mascu's voice sound in Gryffin's auds. Head turned around to see an ivory male. His voice confirming. Gryffin let a low growl echo as her emerald eyes bore into the frame of the ebon femme. She listened to Sudak's statement with a mere lick of the ear. Annoyance still hung in the air but Gryffin knew she must be smarter about this. She knew she needed pack members if they were to thrive.
The tri hued femme snarled, blinking slowly, "Very well... you may come into List, but be forewarned I shall be watching you closely" Gryffin spoke. Her nose turned to the wind, she could almost scent other List members in the air.
[sorry it sucks]

The dragga gave a recognizing nod with the a slow majestic trance, acknowledging Ayame's presence and request. The ivory mann knew that the femme was to come to List and actually had eagerly been awaiting her arrival. With full understanding Sudak turned his gaze back to his mate. She threw him a short lived glance and a flick of her ears. Without question the femme's irritation filled the humid air. Summer had quickly taken over the lands of List and the forest had in turn transformed into a lush green and brown. This giving contrast to the group as the three exchanged brief communication. Sudak had expected some sort of irritation from Gryffin after his unannounced absence and he was hoping it would soon where off. Only time would tell and Sudak gave a sigh and brushed it off, listening to the response of his mate to his newly found apprentice.
With the approval of the Drappa, Sudak gave a smile and a gleam could be seen in his dark hues. A slight wag of his tail and he nodded showing the certainty he had all the time to Ayame. She would make a great new member to the pack and with even more training on top of what she had already been granted under his guidance, she would make a great hunter and warrior for List.
[Well first one in a little while, sorry been gone guys, finals then trying to get settled into a new house has been killer on my time]

The ebon fae stood there awaiting the response of the tri hued drappa, hoping she wouldn’t have to fight to get into the great List pack. The large fae stood tall and proud, and showed no signs of weakness, though she did show respect to the alphas. She wasn’t here to play games, she was here to join List, and protect it with her life—that much she owed to the snowy mann.
The tension between the drappa and dragga was thick, so thick Ayame thought she could slice it with her sharp claw. She knew that Sudak had been gone for some time from List, but he was always there looking over the lands and his pack, but at the same time he was teaching her to survive and showing her how to become the strong fae she was today. She hoped the two could mend their differences, but it was not her place to get involved.
The drappa seemed to be in deep thought, her emerald hues almost piercing through the fiery hues of the ebon fae, as if trying to look deep into her soul and see if Ayame had any wrongful intentions. Finally the Gryffin spoke, with digust and annoyance in her bark, she allowed Ayame into the pack. Ayame gratefully accepted, she bowed her head to the great drappa,
“Thank you. I promise you will not be sorry, my loyalty will always be to both of you and to List.”
Her fiery gaze then turned to the ivory dragga, and gave a smile and a silent thank you. She knew if it wasn’t for him, not only would she probably be dead, but she doubted if Gryffin would have let her into the pack. Following the drappas lead she too lifted her muzzle to the sky, her nose twitched back and forth taking in all the scents around her; she could sense Drathlic, the beta of List, being near along with some others which she still hasn’t met, but was looking forward to being introduced.

((I do hope it is alright to join this thread and meet the new member of our dear pack. *tail wags softly* ))
Dawns lights had surfaced over the peaks and ranges that surrounded List's borders. A crimson red and soft rose pink and flushed the mountains purple as light spread across the lands. Morning was in full swing, and spring was felt throughout the wood. Birds chirped in their nests of twine and thicket, whilst squirrels and rabbits nibbled upon dew drops and honeysuckle leaves. Such peace ran through the borders of one of the earth's most noble of packs. Yet amidst the glowing orb of Fenris, one lay snoozing into the early morning rays, her ebony coat a black shadow before the den of old and yester years. Ah, memories of this place flooded back as if they were not so long ago. It was here, that the stargazing drappa birthed her first and only litter of pups, and raised them through one of the worst blizzards transylvania had ever known. Curled softly near the entrance, gentle emerald shoots tickling at her nostrils as she breathed lay the aging nurse of List, once a proud and highly respected Drappa, predasessor to the current alpha pair. A snarl remained upon hermuzzle, brows furrowed in frustration or anger, her lids sealed tightly until an unusally high chirp of a sparrow above jolted the femme from slumber like the icy waters of winter.
Breathing heavily, it took a moment for the ancient wolfess to get her barings. She had traveled far in the recent months, never staying in one place for too long. This time, she had wandered clear to her old den site, never touched after the move the pack made when her cubs had been old enough to leave the den. A soft breeze blew the ivy leaves surrounding the mouth of the den, a few petals off of the flowers gently blowing in it's wake.
"So many memories, it almost feels like I'm loosing them with the days..." she whispered, more to herself then to any beast nearby. Goldenrod auditories flicked foreward and that keen ebon nose started with the passing of the previous breeze. Ah, a new scent was on the horizon, along with others she cherished. Standing up immediately, the agile fae got to her paws, a groan escaping her muzzle as her legs wobbled beneath her lack of weight. She had gained muscle and some fat to her trim bodice during this fruitful spring, so she appeared to look like her beautiful agilic self, though that did not hide the fact that she was getting on in years.
Seven seasons had passed since Fiory's birth, and the years had been good to her all this time. Only in the past two seasons had her age begun to show, and slowly dimish the beauty she so easily was able to flaunt in her younger years. Now nearing her Eigth season in List, the stargazing wolfess clearly was no pup any longer. Her trot was even and melodic, silent on the soft turf beneath her ebony paws. Her coat shone as black as night, long and billowing with each step she made, her ears of gold foreward and alert. Eyes sparkled like the sunshine's brilliant rays gleamed at any movement ahead, while her nose led her on towards the group nearing.
A scent caught her memory and jogged her brain into a quicker pace. Gryffin, and Sudak too. How lovely. As if youth had begun to filter itself back into her aging bones and limbs, her pace quickened to a soft canter, a few leaps and bounds fluidly excersised. Her limbs began to fly across the ground, her silence echoing into nothingness throughout the shadowed morning wood, that streamline figure racing her own shadow through the forest until those scents became too strong to bare. Steath was her friend, darkness her ally, silence her sister, she slowed to a crawl, walking with grace and dignity into the clearing where the icy mann stood proud, the tri hued Drappa of List standing a vision in her aunt golden hues, and a newly appointed fae of ebony cowered in respect to her elders.
"Do excuse the intrusion my darling Neice..." her voice was warmth, like spring's transition into summertime, gentle to the ears surrounding. Her head lowered gently to show proper respect to her neice, though it would not go too far. A wince flinched upon her grayed muzzle, the arthritis in her bones creeping up on the young at heart nurse. Such a pain it was to become old...
((Bleh.... been a while, as this post shows off how horrid I've gotten..x.x'' lol))

//I know this post is kinda out of turn, but I wanted to post something in List, and to keep this thread somewhat active. I hope you all don't mind....//
The gentle breeze blew, pine needles from the fall before still lingered on the ground, rolling on the mountainous grounds. The large puffy white clouds moved slowly across the sky, only hovering over Fenris for a brief moment before moving on. The young midnight fae was glad for the break from the warm rays; her dark pelt only amplified the heat. Along with the tumbling pine needles, the breeze brought a strong scent of an elder she varg, one which faintly smelt of List but it wasn’t very distinctive. Then a strange voice entered her large auds sending them to attention. Ayame raised her head and met the stargazer’s eyes, quickly looking away she bowed her head in respect to the elder varg. She may not know exactly who she was, but could tell that she was of great importance to both Sudak and Gryffin and of great importance to List.
“Niece?” The midnight fae thought to her self, then she was right, this Drappa was of great importance especially to Gryffin. Ayame slowly began to back away to give the elder Drappa more room and welcomed her to the circle. Lowering herself to the ground, she tried to get out the way; she watched from a distance and waited for either Sudak or Gryffin to speak. She was new to the pack, but she knew when to keep quiet and wait her turn.
Ayames fiery hues began to study the Drappa that had just arrived. She was older, her muzzle beginning to turn gray, and the slight grimace on her maw when lowering her head in respect to Gryffin only proved her observance. Her voice was warm and caring, much more than either of the alphas that stood in front of her. It made her yearn to be near the elder Drappa, to be comforted by her. She wanted to learn all she could from her, learn things that only years of being in List could teach. Ayames long black tail slowly swished back and forth as she studied the ebon Drappa, “How much knowledge she must have, and just imagine all the stories she could tell.” She whined to herself. The young midnight fae was in awe at this new Drappa that had approached and she made it evident as her jaw had slightly dropped open without her realizing it. Ayame waiting patiently to be addressed by either her alphas or the great Drappa now in front of her; for now she would lay low and only speak when spoken to.

Sudak’s keen glare had not left that of Ayame or Gryffin, shifting slyly between the two fae. His icy hues pierced the thick summer air. Ayame’s dark form lowered to the ground at the moment Sudak’s nose picked up the scent of a long time friend and former Drappa, his auds slowly turning to the rear with warm, softly spoken words. The icy mann rotated his head back to see the aging form of Fiory. She may be reaching old age but Sudak still respected her as if she was his own mother, as she might have well been. Sudak closed his eyes followed by a slow nod welcoming her as a smile spread across his maw. He was glad to see Fiory, for it had been ages it seemed, since the last time they had been in each other’s presence. Sudak turned and trotted to the side of his former Drappa with his tail happily waving in the summer breeze. He reached her side just as she cringed from the pain in her bones. A worried expression shot across Sudak’s maw as she winced. He quickly gave a supporting brace for her to lean on with his body and gently placing a worried lick on her cheek.
Sudak would break the silence at last,
”Nonsense Fiory, you are more than welcome to intrude. There are no secrets from the stargazer of List, though you shouldn’t strain yourself so. Your body has sustained a beating on the adventures this pack has guided you on.”
The Dragga finally broke his focus from entirely on Fiory and noticed Ayame crouched further back from where she had been, no doubt due to fear of the unknown new member. She would soon be introduced. In the meantime Gryffin was due a greeting as the mann stood alongside the stargazing nurse, gently pressing his body against her scarred form encase another case of arthritis decided to torture the fae.

Eyes glancing at Ayame Gryffin gave a short huff before turning away from the dark hued femme. She didn't want anything more to do with her for now. Her tail gave a swish. Perhaps it was the dizzying heat of summer that got to Gryffin, or perhaps it was the constant annoyance of the buzzing flies that circled the ears, or perhaps the blood sucking insects that treated every lera as a full course buffet.
Gryffin gave a shake, her paw rubbing the top of her nose to rid the itch before a scent of pure familiarity came to her nares.
Emerald hues looked up, searching the undergrowth before they fell upon a ebon form, though one could tell that at some spots the silky ravenous fur was beginning to grey.
Gryffin dipped her muzzle, the lowest she had dipped in a while, and no doubt that Fiory was the only wolf left in all of translavania she would dare to lower her head too. Not too long after Gryffin lifted herself back up to her stature, reminding the members who she was.
"Fiory." Gryffin greeted, the icy cold husk of a tone she had used on Ayame had dissappeared into a soft misty glow. "Come rest Fiory, she addressed taking two steps back to allow room to accommodate the aging femme.
The tri hued femme looked over her shoulder to see the submissive Ayame. Stone eyes turned to Fiory. "Dear Aunt, meet List's newest member. She has much to learn I'm sure... This is Ayame."[/b] Gryffin spoke, her ear twitching to point Fiory's view toward the young female. [/color]
