[very bad grammar warning! eew sorry its bad very bad. but im in a rush. i hope you'll forgive me!]
Fireflies buzzed across fields of golden and purple petals. It's scent spoke of the summer and how List was flush with life. The harsh life of winter had been long forgotten. The lera were all busy tending to their offspring and in summary; flourishing.
The evening sky blazed across with royal hues of gold, red and orange. Angrily watching over the lands of Transylvania and turning the Listern mountains into a magical violet haze.
Below the canopy of fire a young wolf loped. Her white paws scrapping against the mixture of rock and dirt as she skirted the cliffside and made for the greener meadows.
The tri hued varg wasn't merely running for the joy of it. She had a place in mind. Her paws slowed as her pink tongue hung out, sucking much needed air into her body. She hoped the ivory mann would meet her tonight. Her heart sank though at the thought of him rejecting her invitation. Though she hoped that the rest of the evening would be the next step to reinventing the love that they had shared.
Their relationship had been battered adn bruised ever since the male had left List a a length of time. Gryffin had felt abandoned and hurt even more when he had returned with an ebon fae. Jealousy had coursed through the female's veins and she had been nothing but bitter toward the male and rather hostile to the ebon fae. The feelings spawning from the male devoting more time to the younger femme whilst the tri hued drappa had been left in the mountains never knowing if her mate were to return.
Though their relationship had been left to rust, at least the jubilation of a flourishing pack had reunited them if not helped them on their way to a full recovery. The success of the pack had enabled the alphas to reconnect as if he had never left and their bitterness had never begun. Perhaps it must have been how the two had tried to ignore the feelings that had spawned between them.
But now Gryffin had slowly begun to change her ways, and slowly her heart began to mend. No matter how much she was hurt she knew he was a part of her. Paws stopped as Gryffin looked out toward a meadow, filled with buzzing fireflies and crickets. This was where Lyft had taught the couple how to hunt for field mice seasons ago, when the alphas had still been mere pups. Emerald hues danced at the sight.
Her haunches lowered as she sat, marveling at the view. All that there was left was to wait and hope that her sun would not set on her.

Large ivory pads fell softly on the lush summer grass. A broad form standing tall in the warm breeze as the soft ruddy pelt waved freely as if waving. The Dragga had perched himself on one of the many ridges surrounding the meadow within Lists territory on the invitation from his distant mate. This land filled with life this time of year, at least as much life List would see during any summer.
List had seen a dramatic turn-around as of late from the time of the change in power from the Stargazer of List to that of Gryffin and himself. The two Alpha’s had grown further apart from each other since the regime change. The mann had ventured away unexpectedly and events kept him away longer then he had expected. This absence undoubtedly brought much unneeded tension between the couple. Many many moons had passed since Sudak’s disappearance yet the couple seemed further apart than ever before.
The mann ventured down from the ridge to the vast meadow below with high hopes that their love could be restored to its former being if not made stronger. It is said that love shall prosper through tribulations and come out stronger than ever. Sudak prayed it was true.
Padding out slowly his head hung low, the events of past rushing through his mind. How could they have let their relationship become so lost? They were the couple others envied, and they let it nearly slip through their paws. The love was still there, at least in his heart. Raising his head slowly the past images raced from his mind, as if vanishing completely. The view before him was simply breathtaking. His tri-hued mate sat affront the wide, flowing meadow seemingly floating on a sea of emerald, her pelt flowing along in harmony. The fireflies circled her as if motioning him towards her. His heart leapt at the sight of her. The love indeed still remained within him. Everything he had been thinking of and what to say was simply erased as he tried to speak, approaching from behind her. Only one word could escape his maw in a whisper.
”Wow”
His gaze of amazement slowly turned to that of an innocent smile. Oh Tor and Fenris how he wished she would forgive him.
The sun danced along the horizon, as if teasing the world of light. Below the firelike canvas sat a young female. Her emerald eyes blinking brightly under the warm glow. Tonight was different. The female that had grown up crowing the title of the daughter of the night hunters had felt something different that night. Something that she had not felt in years. Her paws shifted under her weight. She felt nervous.
For once she had no idea what to do. Usually she had a plan, a string of action to follow out, but tonight she was stuck and all she had left in her menu of to-dos was to wait. Crimson ears tipped back as she shifted her weight yet again. What was she going to do when the ivory mann showed up? How was she going greet him? Oh Tor what was she going to say?
Gryffin gulped, her emerald eyes scanning the field and the area around her. Though she felt insecure about herself she couldn't help but dawn on the fear that the mann she adored would end up not showing up. She did not know what was worse...
She scanned her surroundings once more. He wasn't here yet. Perhaps there was time yet to run. To just skip out on this venture. But what would Sudak think of her? Gryffin whined.
The tri hued varg looked up to the sky, it was darkening and her mate was still a no show. Her heart plummeted from the roof of its roost. He wouldn't show after all. Gryffin hung her head as she got up and planned her exit back to the den site. Her paws dragged along the floor when something came to her senses. The varg looked up and she gasped.
There he was, standing there. Gryffin's eyes lit up. It felt weird... different. It was as if she had seen him for the very first time, or like seeing a very old friend. Gryffin almost forgot how handsome the ivory varg was. Her mind sent her racing back to the days when they were young, and to the day they finally confessed their love for one another. Gryffin's heart fluttered and her stomach churned. She suddenly felt shy again.
For the moment all seemed forgotten. As if they were starting on a blank page. As if it were 'hi how are you... my name is... Gryffin smiled, padding closer to the bold Dragga. Fireflies lighting their path darted away as the Drappa came forth. And from that blank state, she remembered the many reasons why she loved the dragga before her. Her bitterness toward him was nothing but broken shards of glass, easily swept away by ebbs of the actual feelings she felt for him. Those feelings were stained on to last a lifetime.
She smiled, tilting her head away in a bashful way, "Hi..." she whispered with a smile. She knew nothing else to do... but that was step one.

As if on cue the tri-hued fae turned and froze with a gasp. In the ivory Dragga’s mind the whole scene could have taken all night. His heart raced as she slowly dragged her paws around in his direction. As she began to walk his way Sudak’s ears lowered and his banner swept through the warm breeze like he was a mere pup again. The shyness pierced through the night from the both of them to the point that an onlooker might have had to push the two together to break the tension. She tilted her head away with a bashful “Hi”. If a varg could blush Sudak most definitely would have. Sudak’s claws scrapped playfully at the soil beneath his large pads as if he was trying to plan out what to say.
All he could muster up though was a slight whine, ”Hi…”
The night was beginning to drench them in its darkness, the stars beginning to shine out brilliantly as they would do with Lists higher elevation. Sudak’s eyes caught a glimpse of the gorgeous fae’s before they met, his eyes darting to the ground bashfully. They were still pups at heart indeed, there was no doubt about it. The many moons they had spent together had put them through many trials yet their love for each other still burned strong beneath their aging pelts. Sudak rose his head slowly to find his nose touching gently on the tip of hers. A shiver ran through his body from head to claw. It had been so long since he had felt her touch. He couldn’t help but let a small gasp escape his maw.
His whole body was pulling him forward towards her, yet his mind was so unsure of how she’d react. Her body language seemed to be that of affection but he was so unsure. She was his mate and they might as well have been across the globe for the past several moons. It was time that he gave in to his whims and showed her how he still felt about her. Show her that he had not given up. His feelings still burned strong for her.
The skies darkened, as evening began to show its full colour and it seemed that the fireflies that danced and swayed around the couple had floated angelically to the skies and simply stuck still to the midnight canvas. Perhaps they were simply love drunk from this romantic atmosphere.
Gryffin smiled softly, her eyes fluttering to the ground the minute green emeralds met icy blue. The tri hued femme chuckled. Why was she acting this way now? It wasn't as if they never touched or seen one another before. For the love of Tor they had raised a litter together. So why now? Perhaps they had simply forgotten. Though in Gryffin's mind she was sure that fighting off a pack of wolves was far easier than facing this nervousness she felt infront of the ivory dragga.
The drappa sighed to herself, her ears flicking as she took in the soft vocals of the alpha male. Crimson auds twitched some more as if hoping for him to speak some more. But even if she had hoped for it, no more words would spring from the draggas throat.
Though the mere reality that the male did show up had already lifted her spirits to great highs. Gryffin slowly lifted her head and found herself touching nose top to nose tip with the handsome ivory varg. She pulled back with a small gasp. The little touch had sent giant jolts of electricity right through her body. Traveling from the tip of her nose, down through her spine and to the tip of her auburn tail. How could such a small little touch have such a grand effect? Finally she found that she could resist no longer and she let her eyes carefully lock with those of the icy blue's owner. How they had captivated her so. Like a never ending masterpiece that had so many different ways of being looked at.
It seemed she was starring into those eyes for hours, no days. It was as if everything had came back to her. All those feelings she had felt for the ivory mann came flooding back to her. It was overwhelming, but at the same time ever so brilliant... just amazing. She felt as if she were as thin as the clouds itself, as light as a feather, easily blown away by then ext gush of summer air. It was then that she realized how much she still loved this varg. No... that can't be true. She knew how much she loved him. In fact she knew she never stopped loving him ever since the day down by the castle and the river. How she had watched in agony a packmate being stripped away, and then finding out soon after that her own mate's life clung at world's end. It scared her half to death when she had seen the ivory mann's body by the stream. She had thought he too was dead, and realized at that moment how much she needed him. How she wouldn't be able to live without this brute. No strife nor bitterness or jealousy would ever be able to change that.
Gryffin whined, closing her eyes as she stepped forward in a rush. She let out a puppylike yelp as she buried her head deep into the arctic wolf's chest. "Sudak I...... I'm sorry" She managed to whisper, not even sure if the male could hear her soft whine. Was she thoroughly sorry? She did not know. She knew she would still have to work out the solution to Ayame, and she knew that she still felt deep pain from the dragga's actions but she also knew that she'd always have deep feelings for him. And for this stubborn varg to actually say she were sorry... well that was a big enough step as was.
For now the princess would have her sun again. or least she hoped...

Sudak let out a slight moan as Gryffin lunged into the ivory Dragga’s chest, more so from the force of her hitting his chest. He lowered his head and embraced her, his muzzle buried in her scruff. He could barely make out his mate’s whisper. She was actually apologizing, this was not something that happened often from the tri-hued Drappa. Sudak took a deep breath while holding his eyes shut tight, his muzzle burrowing as deep as it could into her soft pelt. He had missed her so much, in fact he never stopped caring for her. His heart had been torn to pieces when he returned to find Gryffin to not even give him a moment’s notice. Why the two had delayed their peace for so long was beyond him.
The Dragga retreated to stand staring into those mysteriously beautiful emerald hues. With a shaky breath Sudak let out his confession, “My love, There’s no need to be sorry. None of this was your fault. If there is any fault it is mine. ..” A slight pause broke his speech, eyes falling to their paws beneath the lush field grass. “There was no reason I shouldn’t have told you where I was going. I want you to know though my love. “ His eyes returned to hers, a look of true confession radiating from him. ”I know there’s been tension between us ever sense I’ve returned, and I can’t help to notice how you act around Ayame.” He had said her name. The Dragga was surely expecting some kind of negative reaction, but he wanted to clear the air. My love, nothing happened while I was gone. She found me and I helped raise her to what she is now. Our pack has raised her. Nothing else. You are my one and only love, I’ve known it ever sense I laid eyes on you. Nobody can replace you. I mean it with all of my being or Tor strike me down right here and now.” The ivory Dragga was pouring his self out her. He didn’t know how she would react but he felt if this wasn’t cleared up there would always be a tension, no matter how hard they tried.
//I was going to continue the thread on but I figured I better let you respond to this before I jump off into doing other things//
Under a wash of sparkling stars, Gryffin felt alive once more. No, she had always been alive. Perhaps it was rather, to feel alive with a whole new feeling. Of course that feeling she would not be able to explain. She didn't need to, she was jubilant enough just to enjoy the moment they shared. Gryffin smiled softly.
Yet the male still did not say anything. A slight fear weaved through her. What if the male no longer loved her? Or loved her less than he had before? Perhaps he had merely just come to explain to her how his feelings for her were alive no more. Gryffin's ears fell, her left paw lifting slightly off the ground, as if wanting to push further forward, trying to get closer to the male, and hoping that it would at least keep him there.
But alas, her visions would come true. He no longer loved her. Gryffin's mind wheeled as he stepped back from her. Gryffin's emerald eyes blinked as she looked at him curiously. As if expecting this motion of stepping away would be the end of the night, and signal the sun to set forever.
Another turn of the tape, Gryffin's heart skipped a beat. Legs feeling like jelly as the words that poured from the ivory varg's mouth were far from what she had expected. Ears craned forward, she would take in every word, and take them to heart.
Gryffin was left speechless.
She did not know what to say or how to react. Instead she stood there, as if turned to stone, moved only by the ivory dragga's words. She felt guilt ridden and she did not know what to do. It was all so fast, yet oddly, slow at the same time. But then he said her name. Gryffin's eyes sparked, but she did nothing more but stand, in the same posture. Though if one looked really closely, one could see she was really restless under her hidden facade. See her muscles ripple and twitch under the tension.
Gryffin took in a deep breath. Perhaps she was being silly after all. "I don't..I.. Oh Sudak, I don't know what to say. I've never stopped loving you. I've never stopped caring. I've just been so blinded... blinded by jealousy and hurt" she whispered her last words as soft as the night breeze.
She sighed, she knew there wouldn't be a way to ignore this topic. "I know you hate it. You hate it when I act so sourly to her. I've been trying Sudak, really. I suppose we just need to get to know one another better. Oh i don't know. I'm sorry Sudak, I just can't force it. I cant pretend to love her. But we can work on it..." Gryffin shrugged.
She looked up again, eyes hopeful as she licked the dragga's nose, " But for now, let's forget about it? Let's create a new dawn and forget all about the past. Let's start anew. You're my mate and always will be. There won't be any argument there.. "
Gryffin stepped back, tail twirling into a cute curl. Head tilting slightly as she awaited the icy dragga's reply.
[sorry realyl bad. i didn't know how to end it!!]
