Walking on unfamiliar territory, scent markers filled the land to claim whose it was. The smell was fresh and active, and Blitzen had recently met a few members of Koran. One was a special friend who had convinced him to join not too long ago when he met her by the river. Frostpool, and this pup was eager to know more about this quiet, yet loud land that lay in front of him. The smell of fear crept passed his fur, it was his own, and he gently shook it off lightly. Blitzen breathed the scent in and let it out taking his first step forward.
His brown and Grey pelt blended into the land as he crept across the boundary hoping not to get chased out. The black on his tail ran up his spine and covered his ears. Emerald eyes searched the land he had never seen before. Padding on, and yet wary to try and not make himself be known as a spy. He was shy at doing this, but he wanted to join somewhere for so long, and now was his chance. Hopefully the pack could even take him in, and treat him as one of them maybe. Who knows, and you could never find out unless you dig deep into it. Fernis grew bright, but was soon shadowed by a forest of trees he crept under.
He heard a squeak from a small chipmunk, it was a few tail lengths away, and its beady eyes starred at him waiting for the wolf to make a sudden move. Blitzen's stomach growled like an angry bear just looking at it. Though he thought twice and realized he should not hunt on land that was not his, or he would get into trouble. He barked at it and it scurried up a tree and Blitz traveled on. His paw steps were weak and his ankles looked broken as they could barley step any further. Hopefully I can find someone soon. He thought. Who then? What if they don't like me? What if I'm too weak? disgrace ran through his mind, and he realized that the questions weren't going to be answered, No blitz, he told himself, thats Sikla talk, your not a sikla...are you?
He dropped down onto the ground panting. The summer days were hot and wearing. He reached his head out on the ground and reached for a small puddle of water. His tong lapped up some of the warm, and distasteful water. It rippled as he looked down into it, but soon calmed down and turned flat once more were his reflection stood. His strong muzzle and big puppy ears stood out, and he looked down further. He heard a rumor of a few wolves with a power called the sight, yet he didn't understand it. How could they look into water and see things I cannot? With frustration he splashed the puddle with his front paw destroying his reflection.
While laying back down on the hard earth he could hear the little bugs working below him, and his mind drifted as the young mann grew tired. Maybe someone will just find me? He thought with his body nearly blending in against the summer woods. His eyes slowly closed and shut. Yet his senses rose sharply as he rested not yet asleep. The wind blew crisply and the trees curved into a veil over him, the flies buzzed about his ear, and the birds sang their song. Listening to this sound of nature he rose his head quickly as his heart skipped. A stick broke behind him and a loud crack ran into his ears.
Frost was growing bored of Koran territory again and was thinking of wandering somewhere. That was before she saw him.
Could it be?! Is it? It is!!! Frost realized it was Blitz. Her heart started to pound in her chest and she practically fell over running to him. She accidentally stepped onto a stick and startled him. She laughed.
"Blitz!!! It's me, Frost!" Frost smiled and walked up to the younger varg. She licked his ear. Suddenly, she remembered the last time they met. She remembered her near-death experience, how he saved her, and the dream that she had.
Frost remembered what the dream revealed, but she still wouldn't accept what it had told her. She told herself that it meant that she felt sisterly towards Blitz. That's what she hoped it meant. Her unconscious and smarter part of her knew that her dream was true.
But, right now, the only feeling she felt was extreme excitement that one of her best friends was here. She was shaking because she missed him so much.
"What are you doing here in Koran, Blitz?" Frost sat down and yawned while she waited for her great friend to answer.
His tail rose high in rapid wags as he jumped up to see Frost standing there in the wood. "FROST!" He trotted up and barked greetingly like it was his own sister he had known since birth. Yet he had only known he for a short while. He could remember the last time they met, it was at the river where they played together in the rushing currents that held deep strength, Blitz was just glad to see Frost still doing okay.
I came here to find you. He longed to say, but felt a bit embarassed at the thought. He just wagged his tail and put on a typical grin, "I was thinking about joining Koran Frost, and they let me." He was glad to be in a pack where he felt that he belonged, and already had a great friend like Frost in.
Blitzen looked around him to see if there were any varg with her, but it trailed off when he started to talk, "Long time no see. How are you Frost, it has been a long while I suppose!" He smiled noticing that Frost had looked a little bored. Hopefully she'll be glad that I can be here too.
Frost smiled at the thought that she now had a great friend right here with her in Koran.
"Congrats, Blitz. And yes, it has been a while. I'm glad you're here and that you're apart of Koran! Are you hungry? Do you want to go hunting? Maybe I can show you the territory a little bit."
Frost smiled and stood. She sniffed her friend. She could smell other female vargs on him, and she felt slightly jealous. She knew why, but she just took it as he was making other friends without her.
She was excited to have him here in Koran. She could show him around. She could introduce him to other vargs.
Maybe I could introduce him to Shadowwolf and Sabla! I think they'd love him! Frost smiled at the thought and licked Blitz on the muzzle. She immediately regreted it and felt embarrased beyond being embarresed.
Again, if she could blush, she would be. But, she smiled to show that everything was alright and waited for her friend to answer.
"Yes! it is great! And Frost, I would love for you to show me the land, and also hunt along the way!" He said wagging his tail wishing to meet more of the pack, but at the same time still grow closer to Frost.
He could feel a aroura coming from Frost, and it smelt a bit of a Jealus and embarassment. He looked down hoping something wasn't bothering her, but it was good to have many friends to talk and share feelings with. To reasure Frost he gave her a friendly nudge on her flank. He found himself staring most frequently at the Fae as he swept his gaze like magic. "C'mon! Lets go!" Blitz smiled and laughed licking Fost's ear and taking off into the forest.
Blitzen felt very much reassured to have her around, and he didn't feel so shy much anymore. "Frost, how did you end up in Koran? Where do you come from?" He asked hopeing to know a bit more. He could feel what she was thinking almost, and smiled at the sight. Blitz thought he could almost bush back, if it were even possible.
sorry a bit short

"Good! Alright, I'm coming!" Frost bounded up to Blitz in time to ask her how she ended up in Koran and where she came from. This turned the mood almost immediately. Frost had nearly forgotten of her past.
Even now as she remembered it, it was a bit blurry on the edges. It seemed so far and so distant, as if it had happened in another life. She gulped slightly and decided not to tell of her past, yet.
"Well, Blitz, I came to Koran sort of like you did. I met a magnificent wolf named Shadowwolf and if I remember correctly, she recommened me to Koran or she told me or something like that. So, I came and I tried out. I got in and found my friend Shadowwolf here and I've been stuck here ever since.
I actually don't spend too much time in the packlands. I'm more of a wanderer. But now that times are not good, I have been trying to stick to Koran. I'm trying mostly to make friends that will have my back. It looks like I know I have at least one," Frost said, smiling sweetly at Blitz.
She continued forth until she caught the scent of a deer. She slowly came to a stop and threw her nose up to the air. The smell got stronger, and soon it laid out a trail for her. Frost could almost see it. She ran more to the east than they were before until she came upon a small herd of Herla.
She smiled to herself and waited for Blitz to catch up. After they feasted, she would ask Blitz about himself and how he came to be. But for now, her thoughts were trained directly at the Herla.
That was until she let one thought not about the deer slip through to her mind: I'm in love with him.
Blitzen nodded as Frost came to tell him of how she came. His ears pointed up in amusment of listening as he padded along side of her in the forest. He felt so interested to learn as much as he could about Frost, the magnicifent Fae that stood before himself in the woods. "Shadow seems like a nice person!" He said agreeing with her story. "But I geuss I'm a little more like you now that you mention it, we both like to wander the forest and adventure."
He was watching ahead along the trail when her heard Frost stop to taste the air, he looked back at her concentrating on the smell. He too raised his proud muzzle and sniffed the air. Herla It just might have been one too, and suddenly Blitz looked to Frost as his nerves trembled, but she had already darted off into the scent.
Blitzen laughed and said quietly to himself, "She has got a great spirit for hunting!" He said then took off after her, and Frost slowed down to a trot for him to catch up. Once they stood side by side Blitzen crouched down into a hunting position with his belly close to the ground. He pretended to be looking into the forest for the buck, but Frost caught his gaze as he lost track of thought.
Then he turned away blinking, Blitz don't embarass yourself He thought greatly to impress the Fae. He looked in as he crawled in the thicket, and stopped to see if Frost was Fallowing him still.
Sorry if it felt like godmoning a bit.

Frost watched as Blitz crawled forward a little bit through the thick bushes. She smiled to herself. I still can't believe it, but I am in love with him. But any sane fae would be. He has the qualities of a leader. And a great one at that, she thought.
She crawled after him and nodded to him to reassure him that she was following. She got the impression that he had no idea where he was going. When they were right on the edges of the little clearing, Frost spoke to Blitz in a near silent whisper. Only he would be able to hear it.
"Let's get the small buck. I'll go first and try to get him from the front. You go for the back, but watch his hooves. They'll kill you!" Frost nodded slightly and slid forward out of the bushes.
She spotted the small herla. It had only four points, but Frost knew that any one of those could kill her. She ran fast. So fast that the other deer hadn't seen her until they saw her leap to the buck. The full force of her body knocked the stag off of its hooves.
It faught underneath her, and she had trouble to balance on top of it. She hoped Blitz joined her soon. As she waited, she snapped unsuccessfully at it's neck. It continued to thrash. One of it's hooves connected with her side, but it was an unaimed kick, so it merely drew blood.
Frost didn't worry about it. She'd had worse. The rest of the Herla scattered, knowing there was no chance for the grounded stag. It was the way of the Lera. If they were caught by a varg, they knew there was no point in trying to help.
But, this stag didn't seem to understand that and continued to thrash. Frost was growing semi-impatient. But, she tried to kill even harder than she had before, because she was ravenously hungry.
"Sounds good," He replied and took a step and stopped again thinking of the hooves, "I know." Then they split up to take on the task to ease their hunger. That is how we live.
Blitzen nodded with excitement of a blood lust rushing through his veins. Frost went one way, Blitz went another. He made a wide circle so It would run strait into his as he was chased. His paw where lithe against the forest floor. He leaped his way and came into a young four-pointer that Frost had already taken charge at. She grasped his neck. The Blitz soon fallow, he skidded into the buck, separating it from the rest of the herd.
The herla was shocked to see two wolves nipping at his heels. Then the Mann leaped covering much ground and took his fangs to the butt of the herla. He ran his paw tearing the creatures flank that filled his nose with the scent of fear. Sticky redness filled his mouth as he bit once more trying to ignore the herlas pounding hooves. Together they brought him down. Was Frost still hanging on? he thought too concentrated to look and see if she was there.
It fell hard against the Earth and still struggled as it kicked and thrashed its hooves aiming to the varg. A staggering kick hit Blitz in the side as he yelped then turned a snarl. Flashing his white teeth he dug his fangs into the Lera's stomach and held it down till its death.
Fernis shone down on the prise as the Herla grew limp, and his eyes fogged over. Blitzen licked his chomps delighted and turned his head over to the side grinning. Hoping to see that Frost was still OK before he dug his hunger into their kill. Gazing a little too long with a longing smile. Frost.... there is no one else like you I would want to be with right now. He felt like saying, but thought instead as he couldn't find the words to say.

Frost jumped victoriously as the deer breathed it's last breath. She was excited. This was her first joint kill with Blitz, and she hoped it wasn't the last. This herla was a meaty one, and hunger would not bother them for at least the next week.
Frost gallantly walked over to Blitz and affectionately licked his muzzle. She was ecstatic. Her heart was going a million miles a minute because she was so excited. Her breathing was heavy, but not from the work it took on the kill.
"Good job, Blitz. You get the credit for this kill! Ha ha ha! You can take the first bite," Frost said, laughing. No words could describe how happy she was right now.
She realized she didn't know why she was so excited. She did know that it was because of one of two reasons: either because she was with Blitz or because of the kill. Any way it was, she would be alright.
Blitzen stood proud at their first kill together, "You and I make a great team Frost!" He said towering over the dead Herla. He had much fun and his hunger fathomed. The food would last them a long time. Blitz wagged his tail high when Frost bounded up to him.
She looked so excited, just like a pup he had to laugh. He felt the same way inside. Even the butterfly feeling that had gone away and turned into a bright sunlight on his fur, with the wind calling her name to him. That was the feeling he would get whenever the shining Fae came into his sight, Frost.
"No Frost," Blitzen said taking a step back from the fresh kill and bowing his head to her and the carcass, "I insist, you take the first. It was you who took it down, and did a most wonderful job." He said then let out a nice laugh of joy with her.
He smiled upon this day, Blitz has been wanting to ask Frost something, but though he doesn't feel embarrassed. He feels compassion for the Fae and only wants the best. Maybe I should wait a bit longer. Then he smiled to Fernis thanking him silently for the kill. "Frost.." He said out-loud without knowing it then feeling as if he could turn red he laughed an apology.
"We sure do, Blitz! Alrighty, since you won't agree with me, I guess I will take the first bite." Frost smiled as she bent her head down and ripped at the Herla's flesh. It was tough, so she had to pull hard at it.
When it ripped, she tossed the excess skin aside and looked hungrily at the meat. She glanced at Blitz before diving in. She smiled as the blood soaked into her mouth. It was warm and refreshed her. She tore at a haunch and when she got it free, she walked a couple feet away and started to eat it.
As her stomach got fuller and fuller, she waited for Blitz. She wanted to ask him a question and find out more about him, but right now, she couldn't remember what that question was. The bloodlust had taken over her mind and her body, and the beast she really was had come out.
As she ate, Frost wondered what she must look like. A white wolf with a black paw and a black tail and a red, blood-stained muzzle. She must be quite an ugly site. She laughed at these thoughts as she waited for the warmth of Blitz's body to come near her.
Once after Frost had dugin and ripped out her portion Blitzen eargerly set himself near the stomach and tore inside at the ribs. The sticky blood messing his fur and it oozed from everywhere making his tail wag with pure delight. His portion broke of with a snap and he looked around to see where frost had seated herself.
He picked up the rib bone and sat next to Frost, their flanks brushing up against eachothers as Blitzen gnawed and chewed his bone till he was sure every scrap of it was gone. Like Frost he felt like talking, but his stomach objected him and made it take over as he ripped through the Hearla once more.
Frost looked very peacful and happy, he first saw her when she was a bored, tired, undelighted little pup like himself. He thought they were very much happy together. He looked at her, and nuzzled her flank to reassure that Bliz, he was there by her side, always. "The freasher they are, the better they tatse." Blitzen said licking his lowls jokingly and wagging his tail.
He hoped that Frost was having a good time with him, he felt that he was having a wonderful time, not only to have someone to talk to. But someone who understands you, completley. Like Frost, and there was no doubt in that. Then he thought he smelt something in the air that made his nose twitch.
Bio. Every rose has it's thorn, The thorn that pokes you in the side When you miss her so much. Falling for Koran's snow white rose
"Yeah, that's true. I hate when they're a day old kill," Frost said, laughing along with Blitz. As she finished her scrap of meat, she saw Blitz's nose twitch.
She didn't smell anything, so she lifted her nose to the air to see what he smelled. She could pick up a faint smell, but she couldn't tell what the smell was. It was very vague and hard to smell. He must have a good nose, Frost thought. She smiled.
"What is it, Blitz?" Frost inquired. She figured that since he had smelled the smell first, he would know what it was. As she waited for an answer, she got up and walked around the edges of the clearing, hoping to pick up more of the smell.
An eerie feeling washed over her as she did this, and she quickly returned to Blitz. She was breathing heavily because she was so freaked out. Frost bent down and licked Blitz on the nose to reassure him that she was OK.
"I'm not sure,-...it could be old...or far away." Blitz stuttered out. What could it be... bear? Fox? Or a stronger smell. What ever it was they couldn't stay here. Frost and Blitz both examind around, Maybe it had smelt the herla kill. He soon caught on as Frost had smelt it too. It was a big relief because Blitz didn't want to feel it was only him that smelt it coming.
Frost ran up to lick his nose, Blitzen could feel it getting stronger and he gagged at the smell, "Frost-...Run!" Though he hated to admit he wanted to run, it would be best to stay alive in this place. He sped off a few steps then looked back to be positive frost was fallowing.
His Emerald eyes flashed with danger, he had taken on a bear bofore with a few other friends, but he didn't want to risk Frost. He knew she could fend for herself, but he couldn't bare to see her hurt once more, "Please Frost, come, I think it's a bear!" He pleaded hoping she wouldn't say 'no' because it was their food. Nice and freash.
ooc- 100% sorry this is so short and lame. :[
