Uskiya made her way through what looked to be the devastation of what winter had left. Now however the world had turned a bright new face to the warmer weather and the potential offspring that were to come from the creatures that called the translyvanian landscape home. Her daughter, Ayasha, had recently given birth to a litter of pups. Though they had come at a less than convenient time. Perhaps that was the way things worked out in Ge-rad. Things happened, vargs came and went. Kaemon, the father of the pups had disappeared and no one knew where he was. Uskiya worried for the mann, and she worried for her daughter. Not that Ayasha couldn't take care of herself, but raising a family was difficult. Uskiya knew that beyond what she might have ever wanted to know about it.
Now though, the pack nurse found her days to be sloth like and repetitive. The pups were under the watchful eye of their mother, Sorcha was grown up enough and there weren't any other vargs in need of care. Simply put, Uskiya was bored. She was fairly sure that Draeg would be bored as well, though she had gotten word that his mate and alpha female, Firefly, had returned. The return of packmates was always celebrated, since Ge-rad had grown quite empty. There was hope though. A new pack member had been accepted by Draeg and Uskiya had yet to meet her. It was that very reason that she was walking about the Ge-radian forest.
Lifting her maw to the sky she let loose a beckoning howl to any and all of Ge-rad that might be ranging in the forest. The call rang high into the sky and echoed through the trees. Her eyes returned to their open state as she ended her call. Maybe that would bring not only the new member but also the rest of the pack to her side. If there weren't any vargs in need of care, the least she could do was to bring them together and perhaps renew that bond that seemed to be slipping. It wasn't that the pack wasn't together, it was simply that the pack, or what was left of it, was scattered throughout the terra.
Coming to the denser part, the gray fae sat down on her haunches and let out a sigh. Her golden orbs scanned the distance in hopes of seeing one of her packmates, her daughter and her pups even. The silence in the forest lulled the nurse into a reflection of her life. She couldn't deny that her existence thus far had been riddled with hardships and heartaches and yet at the same time had been an amazing journey of love and family and it had led her here, to Ge-rad. Had she spent all of her time mourning the losses she had felt there wouldn't have been a point to doing anything with herself. But she had, sometimes against her will, sucked it up and turned a smiling face to the world and to herself. She had raised three pups, one blind, one cocky and one angry. But she had raised them into what they were today. True only Ayasha remained in Ge-rad. Skep had moved on and Chilaili had found love and moved on as well. Krystal Zanzugen, though not by blood was her daughter. She remained in the pack though many moons had passed without the nurse laying eyes upon her.
It was in this state that Uskiya slowly came out of and listened to the leera that spoke amongst themselves in the shadows of the forest. She looked down to her stomach which as if on cue let out a low rumble. The pack no longer hunted together but each individual caught their own meal. Perhaps it would be a good time to find some food and take it to her daughter and her grandpups. At least it would give her something to pass the time while she waited for anyone to answer her call. she rose to her paws and shook her coat. Winter may have destroyed many things, but life was not one of them.

Ooc- sorry, not the best at posting, im still getting the hang of it;
The place seemed like a new life to her, different land, though it was nice and inviting for a young cub like her. Talar, a mere yearling became a new member less than a few suns ago when Dreag gave her the okay to become one of the pack. Talar was desperate to meet the other members, but so far Dreag was the only one she had actually met. A while ago she had seen a Fae on the hill alone, but Talar was both shy and wary, for did some of the members even know she was part of the pack now? She just set off again searching the lands, more in the direction the other Fae she had seen was going. Fernis shown hot, and bright in the sky as she came upon a small Forest.
Talar had came form across the land, much farther than the end of the forest you could only see standing on the top of the highest mountain. The land today was named Ukraine, well as humans called it. Talar was new to Transylvania and met many new features she would never come to think to see before. Much like where the Transylvanian and Carpathian mountains met and formed many of the tallest peaks ever seen, some you would think to even touch Tor in the sky. Her life back in Ukraine was happy, but Talar moved on, she heard about many great packs forming down in the way south. She wanted to join, and feel important by making a change.
Then out of her day dream she heard a howl, it was loud as it reached in the sky, able to be heard across the territory of Ge-Rad. Was it another pack member? She thought, thinking if she should howl back or not. She didn’t want to seem too weird, but she didn’t want to feel like a Sikla either. So Talar swept her Teal orbs across the land. Then with maybe a few moments of hesitation she howled. It let out a friendly Hello to who ever may have been there. Talar felt a jolt of confidence and trotted quickly over to where she had heard to howl. Whether Talar wanted to or not, she need to meet a pack member. She felt lonely, it would be good. Her Tan pelt fluffed in the wind as she went.
Bright green sprouts grew big on the tree as Lera were harder to spot in these Seasons. She smelt them though, they were strong in her nose, but she also smelt a she-wolf too. Perhaps the one Talar had seen earlier. Maybe there was more of them, it was Talar’s chance to feel accepted in this new pack. She smiled then, maybe first in a long time, happy to now have a home where she could be welcomed.
Her tong hanged from the side of her jowls, as the sun shown in little specks through the trees and onto the forest floor. Talar looked around a tree and looked to see a silvery-grey wolf standing alone. Talar wondered if she was the in the pack too, it was most likley though. Talar took in a deep breath and stood out from the trees, she wagged her black tipped tail and smiled with a lowered head. “Hello, I’m Talar…I-…I am the newest member of Ge-Rad.” Talar said bowing slightly to the higher ranking wolf in respect. What else was she to do, she couldn't bare to make a fool of herself. With that she put on a stupid smile of that any young pup like her would do.

It was the howl that broke her concentration on the hare that was unaware. The hare that was to be dinner for the black femme in the short amount of time while she was able to be away from her pups. But the howl broke her concentration and she shifter her weight until it snapped the twig under her paw and the hare tore off running. Rather than tearing after the hare in hopes to still catch it, the black femme looked in the direction the howl had come from. She recognized that howl better than any other howl. Her mother. But the second howl that echoed throughout the terra was unfamiliar to her. She knew that Ge-rad had accepted a new pack mate, but as she guessed was the case with everyone else Ayasha had yet to meet the addition. She lifted her own muzzle back and threw forth an answering howl to both her mother and the new member.
Ge-rad seemed to be alive with the sound as Ayasha's howl ended. She sprang forward into a run. The trees flashed past her as she navigated her way expertly through the terra. Her skill in navigation and being rather silent had developed in her time as being night border patrol. She found that night suited her, after the rough situations she had been in. But now her night patrols were a welcome break from being a mother. Her pups slept soundly while their grandmother watched them until Ayasha was able to return. Until Kaemon came back this was how it had to be. No one really knew where he had gone. As she neared the two vargs their scents grew stronger. Ayasha focused on the new scent and separated it into her senses. This varg was younger, and from her scent a little nervous. Ayasha slowed down her run and broke through the trees in an easy trot.
"Greetings mother." She dipped her head in greetings to her mother. "I'm afraid I didn't catch your name. Was making too much noise crashing through branches. I'm Ayasha." she swished her tail back forth in greeting and smiled. "I wish I could say I've heard about you. But I haven't, so you'll have to start up your reputation from scratch." Ayasha laughed and hoped that her joking would calm the jittery feelings that she knew the new fae was feeling. Ayasha remembered how nervous she was when she came back to Ge-rad. She was born here and as far as Draeg was concerned it would always be her home. But still, coming back after being gone so long was scary.

One other howl grew into the sky as Talar stood in front of the beta. Moment later a black colored Fae came rushing through the woods, and ran up strait to her and Uskiya. Talar found out there had been two Faes she would indeed meet today, they seemed nice, layed back and most of all very welcoming. Talar wagged her tail a bit more than it was before.
Talar perked up her head as her voice seemed to be less shaky, "Nice too meet you too Ayasha, I am Talar." She said with a nice grin spreading across her face. "You two are mother and daughter I see, I can tell!" Talar said resembling their kindness more than their looks. The fae looked at the two wolves, maybe Ge-Rad was the right place for her, and a little reassurance flamed into her as she felt that she could be part of the Ge-Radian life.
She looked over through the brush and bracken, and over to the small pond in the center of the forest. She smelt old trails of hares and Herla, maybe days old, but they felt strong in her nose. Suddenly she thought of a new way she could learn about the pack, "W-..w-ould you guys care for a walk, and see what we could find maybe to hunt?" Talar said recalling what Dreag had told her. The pack works as a team, hunt, thrive and live together. It was something like that, the Fae's mind felt a little dizzy over it. Her tong hung from her jawls in the hot sun, and she wagged her tail once more.

The grey auds that rested atop the cranium swiveled in the direction that the answering call had come from. From the auds position on the cranium traveling down the spine and eventually reaching the place of the tassel the body began to shiver slightly in anticipation for the newest member of Ge-rad. The tassel moved just slightly back and forth, but there seemed to be an electricity that traveled the body. The golden orbs searched the forest for the one that responded. Uskiya waited, as patiently as she could for the caller to appear. It wasn't just that she was excited that a new wolf had joined Ge-rad, but it was also that this meant Ge-rad might have a chance to flourish once again. It didn't take long for that hope to appear out of the brush in the form of a younger looking varg, one that wore the mask of some self assurance.
Uskiya gave a smile and opened her maw to speak when a second howl echoed throughout the terra. Having heard the call of her duaghter, Uskiya once again felt the electrical joy flowing through her body. She turned to greet the new comer which only moments before the howl had been about to speak. Now she announced herself as Talar. "It's lovely to meet you Talar..." But before she could introduce herself, Ayasha came bounding through the trees. Happy to see her daughter, Uskiya returned the greeting with a gentle nuzzle.
"Well I must say, your observations are well made." Uskiya chuckled. "We are related. I'm Uskiya, and you now know Ayasha, my daughter. She'll have to introduce you to her pups sometime. I'm sure they'd love a playmate. And seeing as I'm not as youthful as they'd like me to be, you might fit their expectations a little better."
Uskiya smiled. At the mention of food she could hear her stomach groan in anticipation. She had been thinking of bringing some food to Ayasha and now wouldn't be a bad time to find some. "I think that is a wonderful idea. I wouldn't mind finding something to eat and I'm sure Ayasha feels the same. Why did you end up choosing Ge-rad, Talar?" Uskiya turned her body in the direction of the best hunting grounds and waited for the others to follow. Her auds were divided between listening to her pack mates and searching out any possible sound of prey. So far both auds were picking up nothing but the silence of the forest. The faint rustling of twigs on the floor gave the silence away. Uskiya's body tensed up, though she remained where she was. Her auds were now fully focused on the mover of the twigs. Her nares searched the air for a sign of what the herla might be. From the obstruction of the trees she made out a large shape. Too large to be hare, but still to large to be a fawn. Silently she lifted her paws and crept forward to get a better look. Her spirits increased when she laid eyes upon a buck. Grazing away at the grass, the herla hadn't noticed that predators were near. She flicked her tail back and forth, debating on when to surge forward and take down the buck. They would need to get closer in order to make a decent dash. The impact would be important if they were to throw him to the ground.

Talar looked up to her newly found pack members, strong, brave adults. Talar the young fae had always dreamed of being older, the new privileges and adventures, but she had yet to learn the responsibilities. Her ears perked up once she heard of other pups in the pack, she had always loved to play. Something about her was changing now, she was growing to adult hood, nearly the size too. Yet there was so much she hasn't learned about the real world. Just a few spun tales of Tor, Fernis, and Wolfbane.
Talar nodded excitedly about the hunt, and then took a few seconds to recal a new question, "I decided to drift into Ge-Rad because it is a strong pack that works hard together. You must hear that about every pack from every wolf you meet though." Talar laughed, "But there is something much more of truth in this pack.... it reminds me of my family pack, so I chose to look to their leader. We are smart and have more common scence than others, We know when to fight or flee, and that fits who I am. So I am what I am now..." The young fae looked at the two Faes looking at her, "A Ge-Radian, I may not have a family in this pack but I will try my best." Talar felt pride in herself as she said that, but something held her gut back to say more.
After a few moments passed she looked at Uskiya, who seemed to have a scent in her nose. Then a few moments later Talar smelt it too. There a long way behind Talar stood a buck grazing quitly not noticing their presence. She looked to the other Faes who looked like they wanted to take it down. Talar looked surprised, she had never taken big-game before, always small things like rabbits, lemmings and squirrels. Herla could be quite dangerous too. Talar decided that maybe this could just be her first. She crouched low to the grass watching where to step, and stayed the most quiet and still as possible. She wanted to wait for Uskiya or Ayasha to do something first, she didn't want to scare it away and be a fool. She decided to fallow how it was done, "Let me just fallow you, see how its done." Talar grunted as quietly as she could without letting the buck hear her. Maybe she could just help after they started to chase.
This is fun, she thought looking back to her old pack, never did her parents teach her how to take down such large game before she left. Talar felt a little sadness inside but pushed it away for just this moment. Her legs and nose told her to run and chase, but her mind controled that, to just make sure she could have something to eat for the while it would last.

It all seemed to happen in a flash. Perhaps it was because Ayasha had been close to catching her own hare only moments before the howls had echoed through Ge-rad, or the fact that she had lived on her own long enough to have become self sufficient and the scent of prey sent her into this being that wasn't entirely her. But now she was completely focused on the buck. She heard Talar and she knew that her mother had as well. There would be no need for a connection between mother and daughter at this point in time. They knew what would happen and in the way it would happen. Ayasha first, Ayasha had always done this first.
Slowly she crept forward on lithe paws that seemed to float in the air above the ground. Experience made her the stealthy varg that she was. the buck was still unaware of the three vargs that had already marked it as dinner. Emerald optics focused in on the soft parts of the buck. Judging where to sink her fangs in. Ayasha marked a spot on the neck. She would have to leap high enough to sink her fangs in there. But it was important to impact on that exact spot. Ayasha gave a flick of her tail to signal the move forward. Without checking to see if the other vargs had seen this she sprang forward. Her paws pounded the ground, muscles straining to build up enough momentum.
The buck had, up until this moment been enjoying a meal. That was about to end in a flash. In a bolt, the buck turned itself to see the oncoming rush of wolves. It's tail flicked up and it gathered itself underneath. The muscles bunched up and with what seemed little effort it sprang away. Life was no longer a privilege for the buck. Life was a choice, the choice of when to bolt forward or when to double back. When to fight and when to flee. The snarling from behind only drove him faster.
Ayasha growled in frustration that the buck was so alert. "Move out, I'll go for the throat!" Ayasha strained herself forward and reached with her legs. The ground became a blur beneath her as she went flying across the terra. The buck still sprang forward with every ounce of energy that it had. This was what being a varg was about. Lowering her black bodice closer to the ground, Ayasha picked up speed. She made a large arc around the buck, hoping to come in on it's right side and throw herself at it.
She looked back only once to see if they were following, but the blurring landscape offered little help. She had no choice. As she neared the buck's flank she could smell his fear. The scent shook her whole body, gripping at every predatory instinct that she had. Black paws hammered the ground as she slowly passed by the stomach and came to the front shoulder. For a moment they seemed to be running together. Ayasha locked eyes with the buck, it was now or never. With all her effort and strength she launched her self diagonally at the buck's neck. Fangs exposed and impact ready to destroy the victim. This would be it. The buck had no other chances left.
For a split second Ayasha was aware of the impact, the hot blood rushing down her throat and the sinking feeling of her fangs in the soft hide. that second was amazing, that split second that then turned into a dust cloud as both buck and Ayasha collided with the ground. Ayasha righted herself and skidded to a stop. Without a second to think she sprang forward again, this time clamping her mouth around the buck's flank. She couldn't hold him by herself, but she had to hold him.

Adrenaline pumped through the young Fae, she closed out all of the other smells in the forest and focused her eyes one one thing. The buck. She didn't move until Ayasha twitched her tail ever so lightly signaling the two to come forward. Talars paws lightly trotted across the ground, so quiet not even the most quiet of the standing trees seemed to be bothered. Talar thought she would fallow through with what went happening, Ayasha and Uskiya in front of her. Its seemed to go so slow as her senses tingled through her body, her legs eager to run. There was nothing like the chase.
Suddenly the buck lifted his head to see the flashes of what he knew was danger coming fourth to him, and gaining on him quickly from his little snack. Talar couldn't hold it in, she sprang up in the air across the brush underneath her. Once she realized it she felt a little bad like she may have done something wrong, but in the corner of her eager orbs she noticed the other varg doing the same. So Talar took off with them as the buck sprang his hinds in the air and took of, sweat ran from him and Talar could smell it making her want to go as fast as her legs could take her.
It saw them before they knew it should, but it didn't matter a bit, the varg of three came up to it the ever so quick, Talar fallowing behind. Her mouth watered as it hung with her tong on the side of her jowls. "Move out, I'll go for its throat" Ayasha said. Talar obeyed exactly, respected by the courage of the black adult heading in front of her. Talar fell a bit behind the two but caught up quickly when Ayasha had dug her fangs into its neck. Talar went off to the other side and leaped across the ground which seemed to be forever as her paws clawed into its hind and her fangs broke into its skin.
Talar trailed with the buck as it took her weight off the ground, she could feel its legs pleading for her to get off. Not knowing where the other vargs were, and feeling what she felt for the first time. Taking down a large prey with the help of the two she-wolf she had made friends with. The blood oozed out of where she punched it creating a river of juice. For a second it felt as if the buck had given way, and it did as its knees buckled and Talar fell to the ground with it. She saw Ayasha still digging her fangs into its neck, keeping it down, and Talar tried to help and ease its struggle. She dung her canines back in to try and help keep it down for the while, and what seemed like hours it struggled.
It died away, its eyes clouded up, and its body went limp. The young Fae felt a new feeling, perhaps one she had never felt before. It ran through her with the adrenaline, and her legs trembled with the thrilling excitement but tiredness of running after it. She felt a need to howl, right there, right then, and she through back her head and made a quiet Thanks to Tor in giving the young little tri-pack something to eat on. She let out the rest of her energy for a while, not wondering or seeing what the other two Faes could be doing. She felt pride at that time, and desperately didn't want it to go away. "That was great!" She panted, and breathed harder than she thought she ever could with her tong hanging out once more, "And thank you" She claimed, nor did she forget that she was to eat last. She didn't mind as she fell to the ground of her shaking legs and just breathed for a while.

Uskiya had grabbed on, the buck had thrashed about in all its effort to escape death. But the pack proved to be too powerful and hungry. Now that the three vargs could catch their breaths, the meal seemed like something in the past, though none had partaken in the warm blood. Uskiya was the first to break the momentary fast and dipped her muzzle into the flank of the buck. The meat was still warm as he molars ground on the sinews. After the first initial frenzied feeling was gone she lifted her head and beckoned both vargs over. "Come now, we leave formalities for pack meetings. We can all eat at the same time here."
"Talar, why did you travel to these lands? What brought you here? I know that many of us in the pack all had different reasons for travelling this way. What's yours? Uskiya tore at the skin of the buck ,widening the hole so that all three vargs could gorge themselves. The remainder of the meat would go to Ayasha's pups back at the dens. For now though, everyone else was just a memory as the instincts gnawed at her stomach and she obeyed with happiness. It had been such a long time since she had been on a hunt with her packmates. Surely this called for some sort of celebration. Perhaps upon their return they might rally together the pack and strenghthen the bonds.
The weather seemed rather against that idea as the clodus began to darken the sky. The Gods seemed to want their land to be nourished with rain. It didn't matter to Uskiya, she welcomed the cooler weather. Slowly the drops began to fall. Only a few at a time, splashing delicately on the ground. Uskiya looked up to the sky and smiled as a drop of rain landed on her muzzle.
(((Bah, sorry for the shortness)))

Talar waited for the two Faes to take a bit from the fresh meat, and though Talar felt much hunger she was aware that this was to feed more that just her, nodding in approval that it would be wise to go to Ayasha's pup. Wagging her tail and the sweet and warm redness placed her into the buck further, and red stained the area around her muzzle as she licked her chomps. She was glad that the Faes treated her as one of the pack, and it took a lot of worry off of her shoulders too. Her stomach settled and she felt good as the sun lay hot on her fur. “That is good to know,” Talar said glad that she no longer had to wait to eat in a time like this.
The thought struck her too, why did she even come down this far South in the first place. It was way back in her mind as she longed to reach it. Sure Talar fit in perfectly back in her old pack, but there was a few reasons why she left. Because she wanted to fell important. Was that it? “I heard rumors of ones with a power here, also news of a greater pack forming, yet I have not heard of it yet. News of distress from enemy packs, and two wolves born. Both have this mysterious power of The Sight. I came because I thought that this would be a chance for the Varg to have hope, and I wanted to witness it with my own eyes.” Talar’s eyes flashed against the fury of Fernis in the sky, “So far though, I have felt, seen, or heard nothing of them so far.” Talar looked down thinking she lost hope of why she traveled so far in the first place.
“Now… how have you Faes reached the turf of Transylvania? May I ask?” Talar said raising her muzzle. Soon the world felt as still as the buck laying dead itself, and the Fae could feel it on her bone as the sky quickly darkened. The gods began to cry, and little droplets of their tears splattered against her fur and the ground. Soon getting harder, and they would most likely want to get out of this rain as fast as they could so they wouldn’t get a chill.
Its okay, mine is short too.

Ayasha released the buck from her mouth and rolled to her side. She closed her eyes and laughed to herself 'I can't be getting too old for this yet' she thought. Her auds caught the conversation drifting between the two faes though she paid no particular interest in it. That was until Talar explained her reasons for coming here and then proceeded to ask why they were here. Ayasha rolled to her paws and after little debate sunk her teeth into the buck's hide and began to eat. Her hunger had become a small pang but now it was fully satisfied. After eating her fill she cleaned her paws and face off and then turned to address Talar. "I was born here. But I did set off on my own at least twice and I always ended coming back here." Ayasha smiled thoughtfully. "There is something about Ge-rad that always makes you come back. This is where I grew up, this is where...it's just where I feel I belong."
Ayasha sat back on her haunches, her auds remained forward but were relaxed. She sized up the buck and debated the best way to transport the remainder to her pups back at the den. As she was thinking she felt the drops of rain landing on her pelt. Glancing up she smirked. "It would appear that the lands have finally succeeded in getting the gods to grant us some water." She looked back to the buck and shook her head. "I suppose we can drag it back, the pups are old enough that they aren't very fond of well....you know the other way of transporting food." Ayasha laughed and shook her pelt of the few drops of moisture it had begun to collect. She grabbed the buck's hind leg in her jaws and begun tugging it towards the way they had come.
This wouldn't be the most practical way to do things, seeing as there were only three of them and the buck was far larger. With a groan she gave a harder tug and budged the buck a few feet. "Thish won't work." She mumbled while still holding onto the leg of the buck. She glanced from one fae to the other and cocked her head. "Ok, so obviously that won't work as well as I thought it would. But we can't leave it out in the rain." She spoke after dropping the leg to the ground and looking back up to the sky. She glances back to the buck and thought of her daughter Bella. She was excited to learn about being a varg and Ayasha was excited to teach her. This would be a lesson for her to teach her daughter. How to actually save the remainder of a kill. But teamwork, as had paid off in this hunt, would be a very important lesson. One that had taken Ayasha herself a long time to learn. "I don't suppose any of you ladies has an idea?" She asked as the rain began to quicken.

Talar's attention turned to Ayasha again as she floated over the dead meat. Pack born, Talar smiled thinking about her own and how she missed it dearly. She found that they were alike, both travelers not likely to stay inside boundaries of their own pack, nodding with agreement Talar replied. "Ge-rad is a great place isn't it, what a lovely place. I could dream of having a family here one day." She laughed twitching her auds. Though she was much too young to think about it, Talar had great ambitions for the future. What would it be, and who could be waiting for me? Life's questions.
She shivered in the rain watching Ayasha's failed attempt after helping her drag it also, but it was fairly large and would be grueling for the three of them to drag it through the woods. Talar giggled at the attempt, "Hopeless? I hope not!" She sat next to the other Faes in the rain, How could this work... She struggled to think and she scratched her ears. "Well-... we could take off some large chunks like a leg and ribs or something....bring it to the cubs then come back for the rest in the morning." Talar answered with a suggestive shrug. It could work for now, but at the moment her coat was getting soaked as the rain drops got heavier sinking to the skin.
Without waiting for a response Talar walked over to the buck, set herself in position and with many strong tugs she managed to rip off a leg partway. The bone was hard and Talar struggled with a grunt. A snap ended it as she held up the leg proudly with a wagging tail. "Good?" she mumbled trying to speak over the herla meat in her jowls.

Uskiya let out a chuckle as she watched her daughter and Talar try and tear apart the deer in order to take it to the cubs. Obviously they had little time to try and complete this task before the rain soaked the entire carcass, making it much less desirable. She looked upwards and felt the rain land on her face. Her golden orbs stared into the clouds and for a moment she felt a pang of loneliness as she thought of her mate. The tear of ligaments and the snap of bone drew her back into the present and she smiled at Talar's success. "It appears my dear, that you have found a way to transport this meat back to the pups." Uskiya smiled and stepped forward, clasping down solidly on another leg from the buck with her jaws. Giving a few tugs she tore it from it's body and began dragging it towards the more sheltered area of the trees. Lifting with her shoulders and neck she managed to lift the leg off the ground and broke into a trot. Leg hanging from her jowls and making for what she assumed was a fairly amusing spectacle.
Up ahead a group of trees that had fallen amongst themselves provided an ideal shelter, and from what Uskiya could tell there was little hope of the rain letting up. Picking up the pace she closed the distance and ducked under the shelter, dropping the herla leg and shaking her coat from the rain. She looked back to make sure Talar and Ayasha were following, but the sheet of rain that was now pouring made it difficult to tell where the two vargs were. Uskiya let out a series of short howls to let them know where she was and sat back on her haunches to wait till they arrived.

Talar wagged her tail in delight at the tiny success. She nodded her head to Uskiya as the rain dribbled down her head, tickling her nose. Her eyes watching wearily at the darkening sky from the dark, rolling clouds. Looking to Uskiya once again who had ripped another leg off by force, Talar thought this could be enough till they could properly get the rest to Ayasha's den an a few days maybe. You would never want to waist a meal.
They walked across the land, splashing in puddles as they carried the meat, dangling from their jowls. The rain grew harder, feeling as if it were hail, Uskiya disappeared ahead of Talar, she looked back trying to look for Ayasha, though the rain was too thick and it stood in the forest like a heavy fog. She wanted to howl to try and find them, but the meat kept her from doing that, so she pushed forward hoping to meet up with Uskiya which she prayed to Tor that Uskiya had found shelter.
A dark figure of a few intertwined fallen tree were ahead that Talar could make out fine. Underneath was a Grey wolf. Uskiya! she thought running quickly hoping badly to get out of the rain. She poked her head through the curtain of water pouring from the fallen tree to wag her tail at the Grey Fae while she stepped into the dryness and shook her coat that had soaked all the way through.
Her meat was set next to Uskiya's as she looked back into the rain hoping to see the Ebony coat of Ayasha, "Gladly you found some place to at least get some shelter." Talar added as little raindrops landed on her forehead seeping through the leaves above her.

Ayasha followed the other three, deer piece in her mouth and fur slowly becoming soaked. As the rain continued and the world around her seemed to disappear she suddenly became very aware of a sense of loss. Not that she had lost something, but the feeling of detachment. She felt very aware of her being a single unit now, instead of a larger unit that consisted of herself and her pups. This realization seemed strange to suddenly happen. She had actually been rather happy being away from the pups for a bit, but now..She shook her head and looked forward into the heavy sheet of rain that was drenching the forest. Both Uskiya and Talar had been devoured by the storm and were no where to be found. The scent of deer made it hard for her to pick up her packmates.
Just as she was about to pick a direction and set off in she heard the call of her mother. Lifting up her tail and picking up her paws from the wet ground she trotted forward through the storm until she came into the heavier area of trees. Up ahead she spotted the two femmes sitting beneath a shelter of branches where the ground was dry for now. Ayasha dashed in and set the chunk of herla on the ground and then looked to both faes. "I don't think this storm is going to let up, and judging by the rest of the ground I don't think we can hope to stay dry for much longer. I think we should head back towards the dens."
She looked up to the sky which showed no sign of stopping. The lands would benefit from this storm, but Ayasha wondered how the herla's offsrpings would do. She looked back to both faes and then back outside from their shelter. She scanned the trees trying to find a path that wouldn't be too much trouble. But no matter what way she looked, everything seemed difficult...and wet. Very wet. "Well it won't do us much good to just sit around and try and decide either. We need to move. The way this rain is coming down it's possible that it might flood."
Ayasha picked the chunk of herla up and took a breath. Well...here goes...she loped out into the rain. Her paws becoming coated with mud and her pelt soaked to the bones. Her mind seemed focused on one thing, getting back to her pups. The gods didn't let up as the black femme made her way through the rain. In fact it seemed that they only got harsher the longer she was out of shelter. Her tongue hung out from one side of her maw but her paws kept pounding the damp earth. Her auds were alert for any sound and her muscles strained against the sucking muds that were growing in the shallow pools of water. Up ahead the tree branches were beginning to sag and she took the small moment of shelter and stopped underneath to catch her breath. Looking back she could see nothing and couldn't hear any padding of paws. She wasn't sure if they had followed or not.
The shelter only lasted a moment more before the rain began pouring into her dry spot. Letting out a sigh she lept through the branches and dashed out back into the open forest. The branches that clung to the ground were being devoured by the mud and by now her paws were heavy and caked in mud. Even her legs were browning with the mud. It didn't matter, she had to keep going; but even her will began to fade as she found herself swimming through the mud. The herla chunk held high above the water if her jaws. Her muscles were beginning to tire and she wasn't sure she could get herself out of this. Looking around she managed to find a dry spot not to far from where she was. Tossing her head she let go of the herla chunk and with satisfaction saw it land on the ground protected from the rain. Taking a deep breath Ayasha looked around for something to pull herself out with. She wasn't to the point that she was stuck, but she didn't know how long her muscles would supprot her struggle through the thick mud. She had, unfortunately stumbled upon an area of Ge-rad where the ground seems to sink when it rains and the mud rushes up to claim it's victims. This was her predicament.
